The back story around Michael Jackson’s health has taken a serious beating today with his autopsy results showing that he was actually quite healthy.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s report states that Jackson was “a fairly healthy” 50-year-old before he died of an overdose. His weight of 136 pounds (62kgs) was in the acceptable range for his height, his heart was strong and his kidneys and most other major organs were normal. Even his sperm production was active and normal.

According to an AP report, Jackson did have some health issues though, but none of which contributed to his death. The autopsy found that he suffered from arthritis in the lower spine and some fingers, and mild plaque buildup in his leg arteries. His lungs “were chronically inflamed and had reduced capacity that might have left him short of breath” however their condition “was not serious enough to be a direct or contributing cause of death.”

The official cause of death was “acute propofol intoxication”, and three sedatives were also present in his system. However no other drugs and no alcohol was detected in his system.

The odds of Jackson’s physician Conrad Murray avoiding manslaughter charges now looks very slim indeed.

Rose McGowan has broken off her engagement – again.

The former ‘Charmed’ star has split from director Robert Rodriguez for the second time since they got engaged in October 2007.

Rose and Robert have yet to release a statement explaining the reason for the break-up.

The pair met in 2007 when the 36-year-old actress starred in Rodriguez’s film ‘Planet Terror’.

After a whirlwind romance, Rodriguez divorced his wife of 16 years and proposed to Rose.

The pair split less than one year later, only to reconcile after a few months apart. They were reportedly planning to wed this year.

If the split is permanent, the couple are likely to have a difficult few months ahead. Rose is appearing in Rodriguez’s upcoming film ‘Machete’, and ‘Red Sonja’, which he is producing.

The director is not the first man Rose has had second thoughts about.

She also backed out of her two-year engagement to Marilyn Manson in 2001 due to “lifestyle differences”.

Top Chef’s Padma Lakshmi is pregnant at 39, after suffering from endometriosis for many years.

Lakshmi, however, has not named the father of the child and remains silent on who the mystery man may be. Speculation has centered around a man named Manu Nathan, whom Lakshmi has been seen around town with, but her rep denies the rumors. According to Popeater, the man may actually just be her cousin.

Lakshmi’s rep has said that the pregnancy is of a “delicate nature” and requested space for the Top Chef star:

“This pregnancy has been referred to by her physician as nothing short of a medical miracle, and due to its delicate nature, we ask/implore the press to respect Ms. Lakshmi’s privacy at this time,” Lakshmi’s rep said.

Endometriosis is a common condition but can be extremely painful, and is known to adversely affect fertility.

Pete Doherty is set to stand trial in December for driving charges. The Babyshambles rocker appeared in court on Thursday morning to plead not guilty to driving dangerously after a show in Gloucester on June 11 this year.

According to ThisIsGloucestershire.co.uk, the 30-year-old musician will stand trial on December 21 after Judge William Hart said the alleged offense was at the “bottom end of the scale” for dangerous driving.

The trial is expected to last for two to three days.

Doherty, who has a well-publicized drug use, was seen driving erratically around Gloucester on June 11. He was booked on suspicion of drink driving, possession of drugs and failure to stop for police.

Matt LeBlanc is to play himself in a new TV show.

The actor is teaming up with ‘Friends’ creator David Crane and ‘Mad About You’ producer Jeffrey Klarik to star in ‘Episodes’, which will revolve around a British couple whose hit UK comedy is turned into an American sitcom starring Matt.

The former ‘Friends’ star said of the show, which will be created by US network Showtime and the BBC said, “Jeffrey and David have a great idea – I love it. I am really excited to be working with Showtime and the BBC. And I am so glad I got the part, seeing someone else play Matt LeBlanc would have been devastating.”

Showtime President of Entertainment Robert Greenblatt said, “We jumped at the chance to get involved with this cockeyed look at network television told through the eyes of unsuspecting British producers who don’t know what hit them when they enter the lion’s den of Hollywood. And Matt LeBlanc is icing on the cake.”

Since ‘Friends’, Matt reprised his character of Joey Tribbiani in the show’s spin-off ‘Joey’ but it failed to live up to expectations and his career has since stalled.

Ozzy Osbourne can’t stop worrying.

The Black Sabbath rocker who has three children with wife Sharon Osbourne and three from his previous marriage, is constantly searching for something to be concerned about and feels uneasy if life is running smoothly.

He said, “I’m a born worrier. Fear is my best friend and worst enemy. I worry if I have nothing to worry about. I don’t understand the way my girls work. Jack’s cool and Louis is OK.”

Although the 61-year-old star can’t halt his concerns, he believes there are “greater powers” looking after him, but he does not attribute this to religion.

He explained, “I believe in a power greater than myself – I believe in nature more than God. When I got help for my addictions I didn’t believe in God sat up there like Santa Claus on a cloud. I went with nature.”

The singer, who along with Sharon and children Kelly and Jack starred in their own reality TV series ‘The Osbournes’ has more time to indulge in his worries now after revealing he refuses to do any more work on television.

He told Britain’s Metro newspaper, “My job is great so how can I retire from a job like this? I tell you what I don’t want to do anymore – TV work. I hate it.

“They stab you with a smile on their face and then ask you for the knife back.”

Madonna would rather “get run over by a train” than marry again.

The ‘Celebration’ singer whose eight-year marriage to movie director Guy Ritchie ended in December has dispelled rumors she is planning to wed her 22-year-old boyfriend Jesus Luz and claims marriage is the last thing on her mind.

When US talk show host David Letterman asked about possible future nuptials, she replied, “I think I’d rather get run over by a train.”

However the 51-year-old star – who has daughter Lourdes, 12, son Rocco, nine, and adopted children, David and Mercy, both four – admitted there are some aspects of married life she misses.

She said, “Being a single parent means you’re kind of in charge of everything. You can’t say, ‘Hey, can you give the kids a bath while I do something else.’ There’s no job sharing.”

The pop star who was previously married to actor Sean Penn, also revealed she looked like a “fool” when she appeared on David’s show in the 90s because she had smoked a “joint”, a slang term commonly used for a cannabis-laced cigarette, before the interview.

She said, “I think I may have made a fool of myself once or twice on your show. But it wasn’t that I was excited about you. I think it may have had something to do with the joint I smoked before I came on. But I didn’t inhale… so it doesn’t count really!”

Free Screenings Tonight of “Capitalism” for the Jobless and Homeless in America’s Hardest Hit Cities (plus local benefit premieres all across the country)

We’re just one day away from the widest opening I’ve ever had for any of my movies. Tomorrow, Friday, October 2nd, “Capitalism: A Love Story” opens on over a thousand screens across the United States, a record for an independent documentary.

This follows last weekend’s limited opening in New York and L.A. where “Capitalism” set the box office record for the highest per screen average of ANY movie released so far this year. Not just any documentary — any MOVIE! It was, as the studio said, a good indicator of just how well the movie may do when it goes wide this weekend. I sincerely hope they’re right because I believe deeply in this film.

To kick off the national release of “Capitalism: A Love Story,” I’ve asked the studio to offer a number of screenings in the nation’s hardest hit cities — the ones with the highest unemployment rates and highest foreclosure rates — where those who’ve lost their jobs or who are in foreclosure (or have already been evicted) may attend my film free of charge. They’ve agreed, and so tonight (Thursday), the night before our opening day, ten cities will grant you free admission if you have fallen on hard times. The list of theaters and cities is below. You don’t need to bring any “proof” of your situation — just show up — it’s the honor system, no questions asked.

Of course, a free movie ain’t much when what you really need is a job or a place to live. And that’s not going to change until the party that controls both the Congress and the White House wakes up and realizes the American people put them in charge to fix the mess created by the previous administration. For that to happen requires the active involvement of each of us. And, as I show in this movie, it’s going to also require us to challenge some fundamental assumptions about an economic system that currently allows the wealthiest ONE PERCENT in this country to have more financial wealth than the bottom 95% combined. That concentration of money and power in the hands of so few people is, I believe, at the core of so many of our problems.

So, if you’re going through tough times and you live in one of the areas below, please be my guest tonight, on the eve of my new film’s opening. Seating will be on a first come, first served basis.

Also, in another five cities tonight, I have made the film available to local groups to hold benefit screenings to raise money for their local organizations — organizations which are working toward a day when a filmmaker doesn’t have to offer free screenings to people who’ve been put through the wringer. If you live in any of these areas (see below for the list of benefit premieres tonight), please come out and support the good work of these grassroots groups.

After being fired from “Jon & Kate Plus Eight,” Jon Gosselin is firing a “cease and desist” to TLC. The infamous reality show patriarch wants to put a stop on the production of the show.

His attorney Mark Jay Heller told The Insider that Jon, who also put a stop on his divorce from Kate Gosselin, feels that his family is like a trainwreck waiting to happen.

TLC’s original agreement with the Gosselin family may be rendered null and void and enforceable because the channel never secured the special permits required by the Pennsylvania Child Labor Law as a “prerequisite” for the eight kids’ involvement in the show.

Jon also claims TLC “failed to designate the appropriate compensation to be allocated to the children” and “it may ultimately be determined that TLC has not provided for compensation for the eight children over the past four years.”

The news comes just a few days after the cable network announced they have reformatted their top-rating reality show to “Kate Plus Eight,” edging Jon from appearing in the reality series as a regular cast.

Heller clears that Jon has been considering to take his twins and sextuplets off the program for weeks prior to TLC’s announcement that they are changing the show’s title.

Will Ferrell is to become a father for the third time.

The ‘Step Brothers’ star who already has two sons, Magnus, five, and two-year-old Mattia, and his wife Viveca Paulin are expecting another boy.

A source said, “They are thrilled and can’t wait to meet the latest addition to their family. Both boys are excited about being big brothers.”

Despite being known for his comedy skills, Will recently admitted his sons haven’t inherited his humorous gene.

He said, “No, they’re not funny. They’re deadly serious.”

As an experienced parent, Will has previously given out advice to his celebrity friends.

When his ‘Bewitched’ co-star Nicole Kidman gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose last July, he jokingly advised her to talk to her newborn daughter “at least once a week”.

He said, “For me, I would advise to talk to your children, at least once a week. If you’ve got time, do it two or three times a week. But otherwise, I find the times where I let weeks and weeks go by without talking to my children, that adds up.”
