Hip-hop artist Soulja Boy has been arrested after running from a police officer. The “Crank That” hitmaker was taken into jail and eventually released for misdemeanor obstruction of justice.

According to TMZ, an officer got a call about juveniles hanging out at an abandoned house in the Henry County area. When the officer checked the home, he saw around 40 people in the yard. Half of the people there immediately flee, including Soulja Boy.

Those who stayed in the party claimed they were just shooting for a music video.

The 19-year-old rapper – real name DeAndre Way – returned to retrieve his Range Rover. Cops arrested him for obstruction of justice.

He was taken to custody and released.

Nick Lachey has confirmed he is back with Vanessa Minnillo.

The former boy band star, who split from the 28-year-old MTV presenter in June after three years together, is delighted to have rekindled the romance.

He said, “I am happy in a relationship. I was single for a minute, there, and then we’ve kind of patched things up. She is a very smart girl. She’s far smarter than I!”

The couple took time apart to reevaluate their relationship, but quickly realized they couldn’t live without each other.

A source explained, “They’ve always had a lot of love for each other, but they took a little break, and now they’re working on their relationship.”

The pair sparked rumours they had reunited in August, when they were spotted passionately kissing during a night out in Los Angeles.

Nick, 35, said in September, “We’re trying to figure things out. I don’t pretend to know what the future holds, but everything’s good. Vanessa’s a good girl, and I care about her a lot.”

Jennifer Aniston doesn’t mind being single because she loves her own company.

The Hollywood actress who hasn’t had a boyfriend since she was dumped by singer John Mayer earlier this year, is happy spending time on her own because she has a “great relationship” with herself.

She said, “I don’t think you can plan or control love. I think you have to just be willing to take what comes and however it comes, you know? I have a really great relationship with myself and that’s a lifelong process. I have a great job, a great family and great friends. I have my health and I love what I do.”

Meanwhile, the 40-year-old actress has confessed she didn’t warm to her character in new movie ‘Love Happens’.

Jennifer, who plays unlucky-in-love florist Eloise in the film opposite Aaron Eckhart’s widowed character, asked for the script to be rewritten so the story had a happy ending.

She explained to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “‘Love Happens’ is not your typical love story. It’s about two people who are embarking on a scary new beginning. Eloise is content with the choices she has made, but when she meets the self-help guru she sees an opportunity to fix something.

“There wasn’t a lot of depth to Eloise and you didn’t root for her. But it’s a beautiful idea that these two characters are out there fixing up other people but not really doing it for themselves. So the script was changed and it got to a really nice place eventually.”

Newlywed Khloe Kardashian has no idea when or where she will have her honeymoon.

The socialite who surprised fans when she married basketball star Lamar Odom last month in a rushed ceremony after four weeks of dating, hasn’t had an opportunity to think about celebrating her marriage.

She said, “I’m filming, and he has a season until who knows when, so I have no idea what we will do for a honeymoon.”

Meanwhile, Khloe’s sister, Kim, denied her recent reunion with boyfriend Reggie Bush was a result of her sister’s wedding.

She said, “The wedding was beautiful but I wouldn’t say it inspired my getting back together or anything.”

Another of Khloe’s siblings, Kourtney, 30 , who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Scott Disick, is unsure if she will make another series of reality show ‘Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami’.

She said, “We may go back to Miami. We’re all deciding what we want to do next. I’ll bring the baby with me wherever I go.”

Kourtney is yet to find out the sex of the baby, due in December, adding- “We say ‘he’ and ’she’, but no one knows.”

George Clooney has bought his girlfriend a diamond ring.

The 48-year-old actor treated Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis to the Cartier band to show his commitment to their fledgling romance.

In Touch Weekly magazine reports, “It’s not an engagement ring – but it is a sign they’re getting serious.”

George is head over heels in love with Elisabetta, 31, who he started dating in July.

He has already asked her to live with him at his California home, and has bought her a string of romantic gifts to show his love.

Among the items he has treated her to are a Hermes Kelly bag and several pairs of designer high heels. He is even considering splashing out on a sports car for her.

A source said, “Every day is like Christmas at George’s house for Elisabetta. He’s even looking at a Maserati car. He’s had a great life for a long time, but she seems to make him very happy.”

Although it is unknown how the couple met, Elisabetta – who hosts the Italian version of MTV show ‘Total Request Live’ – is understood to have a villa on Lake Como, where George also has a home.

“I’m feeling that I must earn this, I need to go out and become much better at pole dancing or something.”

The 36-year-old actress, who is married to director Len Wiseman, has previously admitted she isn’t the perfect wife, but makes up for her lack of skills in the kitchen by being a fantastic lover.

She said, “I’m the worst wife in the cooking department. I always thought you can’t be good at food and sex, but you can always order the food in. I’d rather my husband didn’t order in the sex!”

Oldest Duggar son Josh and wife Anna added the first arrow to their quiver officially last night, with the arrival of Mackynzie Renee Duggar.

Mackynzie was born late Thursday, weighing 8 lbs, 0 oz. Lucky Anna gets to have the whole TLC viewing population watch the childbirth ordeal on the latest installment of 18 Kids and Counting, entitled First Grandduggar. The baby was born at home with the assistance of a doula, a midwife and mother-in-law Michelle Duggar, who is expecting her 19th child next year. Awkward!

New baby Mackynzie can expect to be joined by her younger aunt or uncle next spring.

David Hasselhoff was taken to hospital after accidentally hitting a doctor and wetting the bed following an alcohol binge.

The former ‘Baywatch’ star’s staff became so concerned about his “emotional and aggressive” behavior following days of heavy drinking at London’s St Martins Lane hotel they telephoned Dr. Paul Ettlinger to admit David to the Capio Nightingale Hospital’s rehabilitation unit.

However, when the medical professional arrived, the actor reportedly “lashed out” and accidentally bruised the physician’s forehead.

A close friend told Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “David is very hard to handle when he drinks, often very emotional and aggressive. On this occasion he became so drunk he wet his hotel bed – ruining two mattresses – and was becoming a real pain for staff. His assistant Joe Townley was so concerned he called out a doctor.

“David was furious and lashed out at him but mistakenly hit the doctor.”

Staff at the hospital were so concerned about the actor’s behavior they were forced to lock him up until the emergency services arrived.

The friend explained, “They decided they had no option but to lock him in the basement until an ambulance arrived.”

David, whose nickname is ‘The Hoff’, was discharged from the $1,500-a-night medical centre yesterday October 8, after spending two evenings sobering up and recovering in a private suite.

A fellow patient said, “He was recognized immediately. Everyone was thrilled he was there and wanted to meet him. But the nurses were anxious to make sure he had a quiet time to recover and were telling him he needed vitamins and iron to build himself up.”

The ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge has publicly battled alcoholism for years and has been hospitalized on several occasions.

His latest drinking binge reportedly began at the weekend when he joined 400 celebrity guests who were partying at a Hertfordshire mansion to celebrate Simon Cowell’s 50th birthday.

David apparently got so drunk he was escorted out of a secret exit and taken back to the hotel.

Lindsay Lohan’s family is planning to stage an intervention.

Lindsay’s father Michael Lohan, who claims she is addicted to prescription medication, revealed he and her mother Dina are concerned the star’s life is spiraling out of control and have discussed forcing their daughter to get professional help.

Michael said, “I had a conversation with her, her mother and everyone. Over the next couple of weeks I’m going to be doing things in a pretty public way.

“But Dina has got to get on the same page with me. It’s a serious situation. You can’t just talk about it and tell me that you want to do an intervention and then do nothing.”

It has been claimed Lindsay who has completed three previous stints in rehab – is addicted to a cocktail of different prescription medications.

Among the pills she apparently takes are Attention Deficit Disorder medication Adderall, anti-depressant Zoloft and pills to treat anxiety and bi-polar disorder.

Michael says he has been forced to speak out publicly about his 23-year-old daughter’s substance problem as it is the only way to make her pay attention to him.

He explained to website RadarOnline, “When Lindsay doesn’t adhere or listen to what I say about serious situations, I feel I have to speak publicly to put pressure on her. If she doesn’t take my advice and do what I say… the more pressure I put on her, the more likely she is to eventually do the right thing.”

Meanwhile, it has been claimed Lindsay is close to having a mental breakdown.

A source told gossip website X17online, “Lindsay is so close to going to rehab, but what she really needs is something way more than most rehabs can offer. This is way beyond just drugs and alcohol.”

Jennifer Hudson says having a caesarean section was like working out.

The singer-and-actress – who gave birth to son David, her first child with fiance David Otunga, in August – insists she was in no more pain after the operation to deliver David than she is when she goes to the gym.

She said, “Everybody told me how much it was going to hurt afterwards but I think I have a different tolerance for pain than others. By the night after I had the baby, I’m like, ‘Look, I can’t sit in this bed anymore. I’ve got to get up!’

“I’ve been up and about since he was born. To me, the pain is no different than when you work out a muscle you’ve never worked out before and it’s sore.”

Jennifer says her son’s personality is already starting to develop, adding his favourite things are his bottle and having his diaper changed.

The 28-year-old star explained to People magazine, “He has a lot of personality, like David. He’s always been a good sleeper. His favourite time to smile now is diaper changes. Or when he spits up on you – he just cracks up like he thinks it’s the funniest thing. And his bottle is his pacifier. His best friend is that bottle – that’s all he wants.”
