Actor Nicolas Cage is reported to be broke, and is facing having to declare himself bankrupt due to a massive tax bill from the IRS and other financial problems.

News of Cage’s money issues surfaced last month when the IRS served him with a $6.6 million bill for unpaid back taxes. Cage is suing his financial manager Samuel Levin for $20 million for putting him in the situation to begin with.

According to new reports today, Nicolas Cage’s New Orleans homes have been foreclosed for “unpaid mortgage debts.” Cage is reported to have already sold his Bavarian castle, and his $10 million mansion in Las Vegas and homes in Bel-Air and Rhode Island are both said to be on the market.

There’s also an unconfirmed report that Cage is being sued by a bank for $2 million over an unpaid loan, despite earning $40 million over last year for his acting roles. I guess there’s something in the old saying about keeping some money aside for a rainy day.

Taylor Swift fears she will have “a heart attack” when she makes her presenting debut.

The 19-year-old singer, who is rumored to be dating ‘Twilight’ hunk Taylor Lautner, 17 – is terrified about fronting hit US comedy show ‘Saturday Night Live’ this weekend but can’t wait for her stint in front of the camera.

She wrote on her Twitter page, “Starting the SNL process I kinda feel like I might have a heart attack or pass out in the pitch meeting. I’m that excited.(sic)”

Despite her fears, Taylor can’t stop thinking about the show and admitted last week she is incredibly organised in her preparations for presenting the program.

She said, “I try to prepare for everything beyond the extent of preparation. So I have all these ideas for skits. I’m probably gonna walk in there with 35 ideas.”

The Grammy nominee recently claimed that she is concerned her clean-cut image disappoints some people.

She explained, “Sometimes people are fascinated by the fact that I don’t care about partying, almost to the point where they think it’s weird. I think when we get to the point where it’s strange for you not to be stumbling around high on something at 19, it’s a warped world.”

Robbie Williams is selling his house to pay off his future mother-in-law’s debts.

The ‘Bodies’ singer and girlfriend Ayda Field, who he has been dating since January 2007, moved back to his native UK earlier this year but have now headed back to Los Angeles to support the actress’ mom Gwen after she ran the risk of losing her home.

A friend of Ayda’s told Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “Debtors are literally on Gwen’s doorstep. Her house has been threatened with foreclosure.

“She doesn’t work and has relied on money from her divorce and from family to fund her lifestyle. But things have been getting tricky recently and she’s worried about the future.

“As a result, Ayda is concerned about her mum and is feeling stressed. It’s a big part of why they have moved back to America. Ayda feels she needs to be there to help her mom and she’s hoping Robbie will just pay off all her debts.

“Robbie has already been extremely generous. He and Ayda have offered for her to move in but that is not going to work as a permanent solution.”

Robbie, who recently said he was returning to Los Angeles because he missed the weather, gets on well with Gwen after they bonded over their love of gambling.

It was recently revealed Robbie had invited his future mother-in-law to move in with him.

A source said recently, “Robbie has really hit it off with Gwen. One of his hobbies is playing poker with a small group of pals. Gwen has joined in a few times, and on a couple of occasions, Robbie and Gwen have carried on playing until the small hours after everyone else went to bed.”

Robert Pattinson thinks he looks like a “blob”.

The ‘Twilight’ star admits he can’t understand why girls find him attractive, despite regularly appearing in lists of the world’s sexiest men, and is astonished he used to be booked for modeling assignments.

He said, “I feel like a cartoon character. I look like an idiot – one of my legs is slightly longer than the other.

“I was such a terrible model. I was really tall but still looked like a six-year-old.”

The 23-year-old British actor admits that his insecurities make it difficult to cope with life as one of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities.

He said, “I’m unbearably self-conscious about stuff. I’m trying not to drown. I guess I’m not the type of guy cut out to do a franchise. I’m not much of a crowd person.”

However, when Robert landed his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’ franchise, director Catherine Hardwicke admits she had her work cut out in making him look attractive.

She told Vanity Fair magazine, “They called me up and they literally said, ‘Catherine, do you think you can make this guy look good?’ So I said, ‘Here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to get his hair back to a different colour, do a different style. He would work with a trainer from now on. My cinematographer is great with lighting. He will study the cheekbones, and I promise you, we’ll make the guy look good.’?”

Robert has previously said he doesn’t care about being praised for his looks.

Earlier this year he said, “The hottest actor stuff doesn’t really mean anything. You have a month maybe with all this heat and hype.”

Mischa Barton sparked a fight at a Halloween party.

The former ‘O.C.’ star was left furious when a reveler threw a drink over her at New York’s Park Bar on Saturday October 31, after she accidentally stepped on his foot, throwing her own beverage at the unnamed partygoer in retaliation.

An onlooker said, “I was standing beside this guy at the bar when Mischa went past us carrying two drinks.

“The next thing I knew he threw his drink over her back and she turned around and asked him: ‘Did you just throw a drink over me?’

“The man responded that the drink was in retaliation for Mischa stepping on his shoe and she threw one of her drinks in his face.”

The incident took an ugly turn when the actress, who was dressed as a peacock, returned to her table and told her friends, who rushed to confront the man.

The source added to Radar Online, “Within a few minutes one of her male friends came over to confront the guy and asked him to step outside. Mischa’s friend left but then he kept coming back every few minutes to complain.”

The two men then allegedly fought on the dance floor before two bouncers came and threw out the instigator – who had “a gash to his head and his knee was all cut up”.

Rihanna has finally spoken out about the night Chris Brown attacked her, saying it could have happened to anyone.

The ‘Umbrella’ singer, who was left battered and bruised after her ex-boyfriend assaulted her in February at a pre-Grammys party, knows she isn’t the only person to be the victim of domestic abuse.

She said, “This happened to me. It can happen to anyone.”

However, the 21-year-old beauty admitted it was hard to come to terms with because of the feelings she had for the ‘Run It’ singer.

She says in an episode of US TV show ‘Good Morning America’ due to air on Thursday Novelmber, “He was definitely my first big love.”

Chris recently gave an interview about the assault and spoke of his regret about attacking Rihanna and told how he is trying his best to make amends.

He said, “I’m human. If people feel a certain way, I’m not going to say they’re wrong. But it’s not right to judge somebody when people make mistakes all the time.

“I’ve learned from my mistakes and I’m learning from them. And I regret every moment, every second of it.”

Chris attacked Rihanna in his car as they left a pre-Grammy Awards party in February, repeatedly punching her in the face and biting her arms.

He pleaded guilty to assault and in August was sentenced to six months of community service, 12 months of domestic violence counseling and five years probation.

The judge also issued a restraining order which requires him to stay at least 100 yards from Rihanna for five years.

Mel Gibson has named his new child.

The ‘What Women Want’ star, whose girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva gave birth on Friday October 30, has announced the couple plan to call the infant Lucia.

A representative for Mel confirmed, “Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson welcomed the arrival of a baby girl named Lucia on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles.”

Mel, 53, took a break from filming ‘The Beaver’ while Oksana was in hospital and was given a rapturous welcome when he returned to the set on Monday November 2.

A source on set said, “Everyone sang ‘For He’s A Jolly Good Fellow’ and he blushed.”

A friend added, “Everything is great! They couldn’t be happier. Everyone’s healthy and thrilled. He loves it!”

Although this is their first child together, both Mel and Oksana, 39, are already parents.

The ‘Braveheart’ star has six sons and a daughter with former wife Robyn, who filed for divorce in April this year after 28 years of marriage, while Oskana has a 12-year-old son Alexander with actor Timothy Dalton.

Kelly Osbourne was delighted to be given a new engagement ring for her birthday.

The presenter, who turned 25 last week, was amazed when Luke Worrall, 20, gave her the surprise gift to replace the jewelery she was given when he first proposed last November.

She told Closer magazine, “Luke bought me a ring to replace the first engagement ring he gave me – he’s been saving up!

“It’s a heart-shaped diamond on a white gold band and it’s absolutely beautiful.”

While Kelly was thrilled by the jewellery, she was also happy with the gift she was given by her parents Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, a tiny pet dog.

She said, “Mum and dad got me a puppy – he’s a black Pomeranian the size of a dollar bill – I’ve named him Sid – he’s adorable.”

Kelly later showed off the pup on her Twitter page, posting a picture of the pooch on her Twitter page dressed as a penguin for Halloween.

Kelly isn’t the only member of the Osbourne clan likely to be happy with her gift from Luke.

Rocker Ozzy recently said he would be devastated if the couple opted for a low-key, expense-spared wedding.

He said, “I would be disappointed if she said to me, ‘Dad, I went to Vegas last weekend and got married.’

“That would be for no other reason than I want to walk her down the aisle. It is every father’s dream.”

Kate Hudson found it hard to give up alcohol.

The blonde actress had to lose 20lbs to play a terminally ill woman in new movie ‘Earthbound’ and says the only way to do it was by cutting out drinking, even though it’s something she enjoys.

She said, “I love my glass of wine. I love tequila. To be in New York for two weeks and not have one beverage, I’m not sure I’ve ever done that!”

Kate, who is dating New York Yankees baseball star Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez, also spoke of her joy at being a woman and the power she feels it gives her.

She told Britain’s Elle magazine, “I love being a girl. I love clothes and I love the rituals of facials and body treatments, all the stuff girls get, make-up, scarves, hats.

“And we’re like a tribe. That’s just our nature. You get a group of women together and, somehow, we keep it together. I love that we can be that powerful, as a group. Men, you know, it’s survival of the fittest.”

Lindsay Lohan was threatened by a gunman on holiday at the weekend.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress was left shaken following the terrifying encounter during a break to Morocco, only to discover the weapon being brandished was fake.

She revealed on her Twitter page, “Umm-OMFG! I was walking ahead with the security guard and some guy was following me, then pulled up in his car and pointed a GUN at me!

“I was on the phone w/my mum and I screamed and ducked and the guy started laughing and pushed the trigger and it was a fake gun..I was crying..he scared me. (sic)”

Meanwhile, 23-year-old Lindsay’s father Michael has demanded she go into rehab, insisting she needs help for an addiction to painkillers.

Speaking after the actress branded him a “lunatic” over his addiction claims, Michael told X17 online, “As far as Lindsay is concerned, if she retracts her statement and goes into a rehab, I will stop. But if the lies continue and prescription drug use don’t stop. Neither will I.

“As for me. I am sorry I had to talk this root, but I have tried and tried to help Linds, and I been lied about long enough. Lindsay has two weeks to get herself into a LONG TERM rehab. (sic)”

Michael’s comments came after Linday branded him a “lunatic” and said she wanted to change her name.

She said, “My father is a lunatic and doesn’t even deserve such a title since he’s never been around in my life other than when he’d threaten me and my family. He should be where he has always put himself after verbally abusing and physically abusing people all my life, behind bars.

“So much for having a ‘dad’… I’m going to spend some time with the ones that love me and I love now . The next shopping spree I’m going on is for a new last name!!!”
