Coldplay are selling their muddy boots for charity.

The ‘Viva la Vida’ hitmakers are hoping to raise thousands of pounds for the Kids Company charity by selling off a series of items including the footwear they donned at the 2000 Glastonbury festival, frontman Chris Martin’s first ever guitar and the four iconic jackets which the band made themselves and wore throughout their ‘Viva La Vida’ world tour.

Among other clothing, artwork and memorabilia being sold on auction website eBay is guitarist Jonny Buckland’s battered cap which he was seen wearing every day on their world tour.

Chris’ guitar, which has ‘Christopher AJ Martin’ inscribed on it in tippex and was used to write many of Coldplay’s early songs, is expected to raise the most money,

Coldplay are also auctioning a collection of signed lithographs, available on a first-come, first-served basis, which cost only £10 each and will appear on the ‘Kids Company’ eBay page at random times during the duration of the sale.

Coldplay’s ‘End of the Decade Clearout Sale’ opens today, December 18 and runs until December 31.

Shane Sparks, once a choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance? and a judge on America’s Best Dance Crew, has been arrested in Los Angeles on multiple child molestation charges, TMZ is reporting.

Sparks was taken into custody around 8AM PST by the Los Angeles Police Department for 8 felony counts including “oral copulation and other acts ‘with the intent of arousing, appealing to, and gratifying the lust, passions, and sexual desires of the defendant, who was at least 10 years older than [the victim].’” Sparks is the second person this year from So You Think You Can Dance? that has been brought up on sex charges- Alex DaSilva was arrested earlier this year and charged with rape.

The charges are all in relation to one alleged victim. Reports indicate that the alleged crimes began in 1994 and continued for several years. Sparks is being held on $590,000 bail, and representatives for the choreographer did not comment on the charges.

David Beckham was left mortified when he was forced to join in a singing game with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

The soccer ace, who is married to former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, isn’t a fan of “crowd participation” and gets nervous when he goes to dinner with Eva Longoria Parker because she likes to get everyone involved.

During an interview US TV star George Lopez, he said, “Eva’s got this whole thing – and her husband Tony – about playing games… I get so uncomfortable with crowd participation. We were at dinner once with Tom and Katie… We sat there and everyone was like, ‘Let’s play a music game – let’s start a singing game.’

“That’s my worst nightmare. I kind of get uncomfortable with it.”

David also gave George an impromptu haircut after the host asked the fashion conscious sportsman, famous for his many different cuts, for some style tips.

David, 34, said, “If you want me to give you some kind of haircut – my mum’s a hairdresser so I’ve inherited that a little bit.”

He then took off his suit jacket and gave George a “bro-hawk”.

Last year, Victoria revealed she and David participated in a conga with Tom and Katie following David winning the title with Spanish team Real Madrid in 2007.

She said, “When Tom and Katie both came to Madrid to watch David when he won the championship, that night we all went to a Spanish restaurant and we were having fun and Tom started serenading Katie. He was singing ‘You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling’, which of course he sang in ‘Top Gun’, then we all did a conga around the Spanish restaurant. They really know how to have a laugh.”

Kevin Jonas is getting married this weekend.

The Jonas Brothers singer, who got engaged to girlfriend Danielle Deleasa in July, is set to marry his fiancee on Saturday December 19, in front of family and friends at an estate in Long Island, New York.

The 22-year-old musician is reportedly taking part in a wedding rehearsal today December 18, which features a roller skating rink.

Kevin, the eldest of the pop siblings, met his fiancee in the Bahamas in 2007 and proposed to former hairdresser Danielle, 22, by turning up at her New Jersey doorstep last June with a ring, breaking teen girls’ hearts worldwide.

Danielle is said to be walking up the aisle in a strapless Vera Wang gown and a headpiece by designer Denise Leli.

A source said, “Danielle has gone for a romantic dress and an intricate headpiece with floral details, because when she met Kevin on the beach she was wearing a flower in her hair.”

Demi Lovato, who starred with The Jonas Brothers in ‘Camp Rock’, is one of the celebrity guests expected to attend the ceremony.

Kevin previously revealed both of his brothers, Joe, 20, and Nick, 17, will serve as best men.

He said, “Danielle has an older and a younger sister, so it works out really well. I can have two best men, and she can have two maids of honour.”

Courtney Love’s daughter has been granted a restraining order against the singer.

Frances Bean Cobain, whose father is late Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain, has taken legal action against her mother just a week after guardianship of her was handed over to Kurt’s mother, Wendy O’Connor and sister Kimberly Dawn Cobain, at the teenager’s request.

A judge has issued a temporary restraining order forbidding Courtney to have contact with Frances, with another hearing is set for January 5 to consider making it permanent.

After guardianship of her daughter was taken from her last week, for undisclosed reasons, Courtney posted a rant on website Facebook branding her only child “deceptive and deluded”.

She wrote, “I hate to sound cold but any kid of mine who pulls this s**t has lost her position … she was deceptive, she lied and she’s lying to herself.”

While Frances is in her grandmother’s care, she still relies on her mother, who is in full control of Kurt’s estate, for money – which Courtney has also threatened to withhold from her.

Courtney added, “Frances is clearly deluded that can buy her grandmother a small house in LA (sic). I’d love to see how that works. She thinks she has all this money. The point is I have all the money she has.”

Kurt’s brother, Charles Fradenburg, said Wendy has been trying to get custody of 17-year-old Frances for a long time.

He said, “Courtney is not fit to take care of Frances, she can barely take care of herself. Courtney wasn’t doing any parenting at all, she was hiring nannies to do all of the work. This is a wonderful thing for the family.”

Madonna prefers buying shoes to having sex.

Renowned designer Jimmy Choo says the ‘Celebration’ hitmaker, who was previously married to director Guy Ritchie and actor Sean Penn, admitted she loves his creations far more than getting intimate with the men in her life.

He said, “Madonna told me that buying a pair of my shoes is more satisfying than having sex with a man.

“At least you know they are going to last for ever!”

It seems 51-year-old Madonna, who is currently dating model Jesus Luz, 23 – has had a change of attitude to sex since her marriage to Guy ended.

Before their split, she boasted about their “amazing” love life.

She said, “I don’t know who told you that having children and getting married means there is no erotica in your life.

“Our sex life is amazing. But I had to marry someone as tough as me. Guy’s definitely tough. I had to marry a challenge, otherwise I would just get bored. Whatever else Guy is, he’s never boring. He can be intolerant.”

Madonna has four children, daughters Lourdes, 13, and Mercy, four, and sons Rocco, nine, and David, four.

Zooey Deschanel can cheer herself up just thinking about Christmas.

The ‘(500) Days of Summer’ actress, who admits she generally has a pretty positive outlook on life, claims that if she feels unhappy all she has to do is reminisce about her favorite festive memories with her sister Emily to cheer herself up.

She said, “I think Christmas is always used at any point in the year to cheer us up, like each other up. We would use that to cheer each other up if we were in a sad mood or something, we’d just start talking about Christmas.

“So we have always loved Christmas. I don’t think there’s any particular Christmas that comes to mind.”

The 29-year-old actress has another reason to be happy as she married her rocker boyfriend Ben Gibbard in September at a private ceremony near Seattle, Washington.

The couple got engaged in December 2008 after dating for nearly a year, with a friend saying at the time, “Zooey was swept off her feet, and Ben is so excited.”

The Pussycat Dolls are getting new members.

The girl band have been surrounded by rumours they are splitting, but choreographer Robin Antin – who founded the group in its first incarnation as a dance troupe in 1995 – insists they are continuing but with fresh faces joining lead singer Nicole Scherzinger.

She told MTV: “Nicole is going back in the studio. We’re working on new music right now. There will be a few new faces in the Pussycat Dolls. I’ve been really putting that out there. I’m really excited about it. Inside every girl, inside every woman, is a Pussycat Doll and I always want to bring in new faces to really show that.

“The Pussycat Dolls are not breaking up. I’m the creator of the Pussycat Dolls and I own the brand. I would be the one to say, ‘OK, it’s over.’ But it’s so not.”

Robin wouldn’t reveal who of the current line-up – Nicole, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton – might be leaving but insists a change of faces will invigorate the group.

She added: “It’s Nicole and a couple new faces. Some of the girls want to go and do their own thing. We’re moving on. We’re excited. We’re looking at new girls. It’s phase three of the Pussycat Dolls because we did our first album, our second album and now we’re going on to our third. We’re touring … a lot is coming up.”

Miley Cyrus has named her dog after her favourite Australian slang term.

The ‘Hannah Montana’ star has fallen in love with the country’s colloquialisms and common phrases since she started dating Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth and has used a well known word for her pet pooch’s moniker.

She said, “I just bought a little German Shepherd and I named it ‘Mate’ because I always say ‘mate’ now to Liam. So that’s my little German Shepherd dog’s name.”

Miley, 17, started learning Australian slang after ‘Triangle’ star Liam, 19, bought her a book of phrases from his home country.

She added to take40.com, “Liam actually went to Australia and then came back. The first night he came back – I had gotten really sick – he brought me back a book to make me laugh, of all the lingo. He was like, ‘I’ve never heard half of this stuff but some of it’s pretty funny!’

“It’s really funny how different yet alike America and Australia are. I think we expect, because it’s so far away, to be so different. I can’t wait to go sometime, I’d love to perform there.”

Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson spent the night flirting with each other at a mutual friend’s birthday party.

The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer, who is dating comedian Russell Brand, and the ‘Twilight’ hunk were at Dimples Supper Club in Burbank, California, and onlookers say they “only had eyes for each other”.

Website Radar Online says the pair, “Sat face-to-face, touching foreheads and acting very flirty with each other. They were both giggling and Katy looked positively giddy!”

It is not the first time Katy and Robert, who has an on/off romance with his ‘Twilight’ co-star Kristen Stewart, have been to the karaoke venue together.

A staff member said, “They came here last year and every time she comes he seems to follow.”

Although she seemed quite smitten with Robert, Katy did manage to find time to take to the microphone.

She belted out a Christmas track on the karaoke machine and when she and her friends took to the stage for the last song of the night, they weren’t impressed with the DJ’s choice of Pink’s ‘So What’.

She started shouting, “Wrong song! No! We don’t like Pink.”

However, her pleas were ignored and she eventually gave up and she and her friends sang along.

At the end of the evening, Katy, Robert and a friend all left for home in the singer’s Audi.
