Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Susan Boyle couldn’t have dreamed up selling over a million copies in just two weeks in stores. Her “I Dreamed A Dream” sells 527,000 copies in its second week, bringing her total to 1.23 million copies and earning her the #1 spot for a second week on the Billboard Albums chart. The album, which features covers of “Wild Horses” and “Silent Night,” is already the #10 best-selling album of 2009.

Joining her near the top (and what a duet that would be) is Andrea Bocelli, who spends a fourth week at #2 with “My Christmas.” The holiday album, which continues to increase in sales each week, sells 428,000 copies, bringing his total to 1.12 million copies.

At #3 this week is Taylor Swift, who rises all the way to #3 from #8 last week, selling another 127,000 copies of her album “Fearless,” and inching that much closer to selling 5 million copies in the U.S.

R. Kelly debuts at #4 with “Untitled,” his latest studio album selling 114,000 in its first week. This is R. Kelly’s ninth album to reach the top 4 on Billboard. Lady Gaga follows at #5 with “The Fame,” which moves up one spot selling 84,000 copies. “The Fame” now includes “The Fame Monster” EP, which features “Bad Romance” and her Beyonce duet “Telephone.”

Carrie Underwood moves up to #6 with “Play On,” selling 81,000 copies this week. Norah Jones follows at #7 with “The Fall” selling 80,000 copies. Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” compilation moves up to #8 this week with 75,000 copies.

The “New Moon” soundtrack is #9 this week, moving 72,000 copies and climbing up three spots. Up from #18 last week and at #10 this week is Michael Buble. His “Crazy Love” album sells 72,000 this week.

Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James will not be spending Christmas with his daughter Sunny.

A judge ruled in favor of Sunny’s mother Janine Lindemulder during a custody hearing at an Orange County court.

An eyewitness in the California courthouse is quoted by Life and Style Weekly magazine as saying: “She was told she could pick up Sunny at 4pm on Christmas Eve, December 24, and return her by 6pm the next day December 25, but her husband Jeremy Aikman, a two-time felon, won’t be allowed to be there.”

Lindemulder was imprisoned earlier this year for tax evasion and Sandra has been helping Jesse raise her.

However, since her release Jesse and Janine have been battling for custody of the child.

Speaking after the hearing, Janine said, “I’m so excited about Christmas. I can’t believe it. Thank God.”

A report on EOnline says Billy Corgan, frontman of 90s alternarock band Smashing Pumpkins, is dating reality show and pop music star Jessica Simpson.

Simpson’s had a bit of a rough year- she experienced a very public breakup with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on the eve of her 29th birthday and Barbie and Ken themed party in July. In September, Simpson’s beloved dog Daisy was snatched from her home by a coyote and never recovered. And press rode her honky-tonk badonkadonkdonk all year for having gained a few pounds.

Simpson has shouted out Corgan, 42, on Twitter from time to time- and though a source says Jessica has “fallen hard and is smitten,” friends are skeptical the fling will last:

“He’s just another in an endless string of Jessica’s boyfriends,” says the source. “They think he’s too old for her. No one takes any of her boyfriends seriously anymore because she has had so many. They’re sick of all of them being ‘the one.’ “

The source also says the pair consider themselves to be “officially dating.” In other news, Billy Corgan got totally old!

Jennifer Aniston will play Adam Sandler’s wife in a new movie.

The ‘Baster’ actress is reportedly in negotiations to star opposite the ‘Happy Gilmore’ actor in romantic comedy ‘The Pretend Wife’ – formerly known as ‘Holiday In Hawaii’ – though plot details are being kept firmly under wraps.

Adam’s long-term collaborator Dennis Dugan is expected to direct the movie, which is scheduled for release in February 2011, while Happy Madison is producing.

Jennifer, who was married to Brad Pitt and dated a host of famous men, including John Mayer and Vince Vaughn, has previously admitted she wants to be more selective in her movie roles because the storylines seem to come true in her personal life.

She joked earlier this year, “I’m trying to be more careful than I have been in the past about the titles of movies that I choose to be in. It’s funny – I kind of noticed something a couple years ago that there seemed to be this strange parallel to the movies I was doing and my life off screen.

“It started with, well, ‘The Good Girl’. Then that evolved into ‘Rumour Has It’, followed by ‘Derailed’, and then there was ‘The Break-Up’. And then on the lighter side was ‘Friends with Money’.”

Sarah Jessica Parker doesn’t understand relationships.

The ‘Did You Hear About The Morgans?’ actress – who raises three children with her actor husband Matthew Broderick – insists she isn’t a good person to go to for romantic advice, despite being married for 12 years.

She told BANG Showbiz, “What’s the secret to a successful relationship? Oh I’m no relationship expert I’ve no idea. You should speak to someone with a doctorate if you want advice!”

The 44-year-old screen beauty was in London’s Leicester Square last night, December 9, with her co-star Hugh Grant for the Gala Premiere of the romantic comedy, in which they play a married couple who battle to rekindle their romance.

Despite the cold and wet weather, Sarah looked stunning as she snuggled up to Hugh for photographs while wearing a hot pink dress and sky-scraper heels.

She said, “I’m loving London. I always love London. Am I cold? Oh God, compared to New York, no I’m not. It’s practically mild!”

Sarah and Matthew had twin daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Lodge via a surrogate mother in June, and the ‘Sex and the City’ star admits they are “wonderful”.

She said, “The babies are very wonderful. Filming this was a long time to be away from home but, you know, I don’t want the time back.”

Sarah also revealed she loves visiting London because the people are so “sophisticated”.

She explained, “I love this city. I’ve loved it since I was a little girl. I remember the first time I came here in 1976 when I was a little girl and I always thought, ‘When I grow up I’m going to move to London, because everybody there is so sophisticated.’ ”

If a report in the New York Daily News is on the up and up, nearly a dozen mistresses may be the least of fallen American Sweetheart Tiger Woods’ worries.

The nudie mag Playgirl is announced plans to publish naked pictures of Tiger’s wood if they can confirm veracity of the photos:

“We were approached by a third party who wanted to know our ‘interest level,” Daniel Nardicio claims in several published reports. “Our lawyers are currently going over them, the source, the entire package.”

If it’s really Tiger’s package, the spread could do wonders for Playgirl considering the huge media circus surrounding the very public fall of Woods. (Playgirl also just famously published a photo shoot featuring babydaddy of Bristol Palin, Levi Johnston.) And while there hasn’t been a massive amount of hatred directed toward the golf legend, a feature in Playgirl can certainly tip the tide, depending on content. Woods has kept silent about the busload of women stepping forward claiming to be side-dishes for the golfer, save for a message on his website where he admitted “transgressions” and apologized to his family.

Russell Brand expected meeting his girlfriend Katy Perry’s parents would be “a disaster”.

The British comic star, who is a former heroin addict and alcoholic, was very nervous about being introduced to the pop star’s pastor father and mother Keith and Mary because of their strong Christian beliefs.

He said, “Have you seen a picture of him? He’s got a shaved head and he’s tense-looking.

“But if you’re a proper Christian, it means that you’ve got to be a gentle, loving, compassionate soul.

“Obviously when I heard that my girlfriend had preacher parents, I thought, ‘Well, this has got a huge scope for disaster,’ but it’s actually been quite good so far.”

Despite his initial fears, the ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ actor hit it off with the couple when they met at an Austrian ski resort earlier this month after impressing them with his British charm and intellect.

He explained, “I’m doing well, you know, because I’m committed to it and they’re lovely, lovely people, it’s been nice.

“They love the old school Englishness. There’s a thing where the mum said, ‘Nothing’s impossible,’ and I went, ‘Well, of course, Nelson Mandela said that everything is impossible until it’s done.’ She really enjoyed that.”

One side-effect of his romantic happiness is that 34-year-old Russell has got more boring since he began dating Katy, 25, in September.

He told Absolute Radio DJ Christian O’Connell, “She’s amazing. I’m having a right laugh, she’s a good person to spend time with and it’s changed me, it’s made me stop doing stuff that I probably shouldn’t have been doing.

“I didn’t drink or take drugs, my main hobby was meeting girls and chatting them up. Once you stop doing that, everything’s a lot more relaxing if you’re not, everywhere you go, thinking, ‘Right, shall I chat to her?’

“Now I’m just talking to people, I do a bit of yoga, meditate, look out the window, think about the cat, you know, it’s a more chilled out pace of life.”

Comedian and pioneer of the “guy in drag as an angry black woman” genre of films, Tyler Perry, announced the death of his mother via a brief message on his website.

Perry, 40, posted the following short update for fans yesterday:

Willie Maxine Perry - February 12, 1945 to December 8, 2009 - Thank you for all your prayers.

Perry’s mother Willie served as inspiration for his character “Medea,” featured in three of Perry’s films. Willie Maxine Perry was 62 at the time of her death, but cause of death and further details have not yet been released.

Perry recently went public with details of his painful childhood, telling People about attempts his mother made to leave his abusive father and beatings he suffered as a child:

Beginning with his mother’s failed attempt to leave his abusive father, Perry recounts a horrific list of beatings and hardships he suffered.

“My father came home, mad at the world,” he writes. “He was drunk, as he was most of the time. He got the vacuum cleaner extension cord and trapped me in a room and beat me until the skin was coming off my back.”

Lily Allen got caught up in a bar fight when celebrating her sister’s birthday.

The ‘Fear’ singer was horrified when police were called to Paradise in Kensal Green, north London, after a group of revellers objected to being asked to move to accommodate her, siblings Sarah and Alfie and mother Alison Owen because their table in a private dining room had been double booked.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “Lily and her family had all got to Paradise to have a nice meal for Sarah’s birthday but there seemed to have been a mix up with the rooms.

“The group that were in there were apparently quite rowdy and worse for wear.

“Lily and her family were trying to ask them to move but once they saw Lily they got really mouthy. There was some pushing and shoving as they refused to move and someone called police.”

Police confirmed that two men aged 40 and another aged 43 were arrested on suspicion of affray on Sunday (06.12.09), with the older man also held on suspicion of assault.

A spokesperson said, “They had booked to have a meal in the private dining room. There must have been a mix up as there was already a group in there.”

Mischa Barton prefers kissing girls.

The former ‘The O.C.’ actress finds it easier to relax during lesbian scenes for her film and TV shows because there is none of the tension that can build up when she has to get romantic on camera with members of the opposite sex.

Mischa, 23, said of her lesbian roles, “I don’t know why that keeps coming up. It doesn’t annoy me that much. It’s so much easier to kiss another girl. You’re so much more relaxed filming and you can have a laugh. It can get a bit tense with a guy.”

Mischa Barton’s love scenes with other girls include in ‘The O.C.’, where her character, Marissa Cooper, had a relationship with Alex Kelly, played by Olivia Wilde and in TV series ‘Once and Again’, where she was pictured kissing Evan Rachel Wood.

She also famously starred in 2008 film ‘You and I’, about two teenage girls, and American and a Russian, how fall in love after meeting at a concert by faux lesbian Russian girl band t.A.T.u and subsequently get caught up in an underworld of drugs and murder.

The ‘Beautiful Life’ star recently revealed she had never had her heart broken.

She said, “I’ve never been dumped. One tried to make it quite mutual though so that felt as close to dumping as I’ve got. I kind of lost it and was like, ‘You are not turning this on me. I dumped you first.’

“I felt like my heart was broken at the end of a couple of relationships but it wasn’t really.”
