Bristol Palin boots Levi once again, says she “got played”

The on again, off again Bristol Palin/Levi Johnston relationship is off again.

The Alaskan ex-couple have a 1-year-old son together, Tripp, but Palin says their relationship began to falter again the very same day they “went public” with their plans to marry. Palin now says that Johnston lied to her and admitted to perhaps fathering another child with an unnamed woman. (Former Johnston girlfriend Lanesia Garcia denies that he is the father of her yet-to-be-born baby.)

Palin explains the reasons behind the latest split:

“The final straw was him flying to Hollywood for what he told me was to see some hunting show but come to find out it was that music video mocking my family. He’s just obsessed with the limelight and I got played.”

Bristol also took a swipe at her babydaddy’s “wrong side of the tracks” clan:

“Through this whole experience I know I need a man who’s going to be completely honest with me and someone who loves me and Tripp and wants to be with him all the time. I also want someone who has religious beliefs and a good family.”

In a statement, Sarah Palin gloated:

“I wish for Bristol to be able to move forward in life with her same forgiving, gracious, optimistic spirit, but from henceforth she’ll know to trust but verify… Bristol is strong, she is independent, and she knows what is right for her son.”

Pamela Anderson Adopts Oil-Spill Affected Dogs

Pamela Anderson has adopted two dogs.

The former ‘Baywatch’ babe, who is the honorary chairman of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), was left upset after discovering around 50 pooches were abandoned by their owners following the recent BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico so has given two of them a home.

Pamela, who has two sons, Brandon, 13, and Dylan, 11, from her marriage to ex-husband Tommy Lee said, “My son was hoping we could take all 50.

“People can’t afford to feed their families, so the family member that gets left behind and has to go is the pet.”

The blonde actress has named her two new pets, which have been identified as Chihuahua mixes, in honour of fellow actresses Gina Lollobrigida and Brigitte Bardot.

On Monday, August 2, the dogs were paraded in New Orleans – which was badly affected by the April 20 rig explosion, along with the surrounding areas – in the hope of finding them new owners.

Bridgette Verdin of the Humane Society of Louisiana, which is working with PETA and several New Orleans area shelters to find homes for the dogs said, “We couldn’t find homes for all the dogs that were being surrendered before the spill.”

Eminem Admits Thinking About His Death

Eminem thinks about his own death “a lot”.

The ‘We Made You’ rapper, who has famously battled an addiction to prescription drugs, often thinks about his own passing when he is in bed but admits it “creeps” him out.

He said, “Do I think about my own death? Yeah, I do. A lot. I think about it a lot. I try not to think about it but I do and it creeps me the f**k out! When I lay in bed at night is when I think about it the most.”

Recalling a time when he was hospitalized at the height of his drug addiction, Eminem added to Vibe magazine, “It creeps me out because they say that if I got to the hospital two hours later then I would be gone. I think about that a lot.”

The rapper, real name Marshall Mathers, also revealed how easy it was for him to obtain illegal prescriptions from doctors overawed by his celebrity status.

The hip-hop star, who checked into a rehabilitation centre in 2005 to be treated for an addiction to prescription pills explained, “It’s one of those things where you’re famous, doctors will kiss you’re a*s because they love the celebrity. ‘Oh, I can call up Eminem and get him on the phone right now. Oh, hi Marshall, how are you doing? Do you need that prescription?’

“There are doctors that will give you certain things just because of who you are.”

Eminem also spoke of his shock at his ‘8 Mile’ co-star Brittany Murphy’s death in December, admitting he thinks there is an epidemic of tragedy currently sweeping Hollywood.

He said, “It was crazy. It’s crazy. It’s crazy because at one point we were very close and she was a really good person. It’s crazy when you see things not just with her but just all these things that are happening in Hollywood with people in music, with people in acting, famous people. Famous people are overdosing at alarming rates and – that almost sounded like a commercial. Wow.”

Strict Mom Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez has revealed she is the strict parent in her household.

The singer-and-actress insists husband Marc Anthony is like “mush” when it comes to disciplining their two-year-old twins Max and Emme.

The 41-year-old star explained, “He’s a passionate person, and he’s the same way with his kids, and I love it. When it comes to all his kids he’s mush, whatever they want.”

Marc also has two sons, Cristian and Ryan, from his relationship with ex-wife Dayanara Torres.

She explained to America’s Glamour magazine, “I’m the one who keeps everybody on schedule, like, ‘Got to go to bed at this time, got to eat something.’ I was talking about this with somebody – they asked, ‘Do you still love working?’ I said, ‘I just do it quicker.’ I don’t have all the time in the world anymore.”

Although Jennifer always planned to go back to work after having her twins, she now feels guilty when she leaves them.

She said, “In my mind I first felt like, ‘Oh, I’ll be back to work right after the babies are born.’ But then you don’t want to. Even now, it’s very difficult for me to leave them in the morning. It just tortures me. I’m like, ‘It’s been hours; are they wondering where I am? Do they know that I love them so much and I’m thinking only about them?’ ”

Gisele Bundchen Calls For Breastfeeding Law

Gisele Bundchen thinks a law should be made to make new mothers breastfeed for at least six months.

The 30-year-old supermodel, who gave birth to son Benjamin, her first child with husband Tom Brady, in December 2009, thinks it is wrong for mothers to give formula to their newborns.

She said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine, “Some people think they don’t have to breastfeed and I think, ‘Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?’ I think there should be a worldwide law that mothers should breast-feed their babies for six months.”

The Brazilian-born beauty also admitted that “breastfeeding really helped me keep my figure”.

Gisele also revealed she prepared “mentally and physically” by doing yoga before her home birth.

She said, “It prepared me mentally and physically. It’s called ‘labour’, not ‘holiday’ for a reason and I knew that. You want to go into the most intense physical experience of your life unprepared? That doesn’t make sense to me. I wasn’t expecting someone else to get the baby out of me.”

Gisele, who delivered Benjamin in the bathtub at her and Tom’s Beacon Hill penthouse, in Boston, doesn’t think she is special for opting for a home birth, she just thought it was normal.

She said, “Not for one second did it cross my mind that I was not going to have my baby at home. I’m not the first person to give birth naturally. Billions of other women have come before me and have done this – so why can’t I do it?”

Charlie Sheen Pleads Guilty To Misdemeanour Assault

Charlie Sheen has pleaded guilty to misdemeanour assault.

The ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor appeared in court in Aspen, Colorado, yesterday, August 2, where he was sentenced to 30 days in rehab and given a 30-day suspended prison sentence after agreeing a plea bargain deal on charges relating to a domestic incident with wife Brooke Mueller last Christmas Day, December 25, 2009.

He was also sentenced to three months probation and must complete 36 hours of domestic violence counseling.

In a statement after sentencing, the 44-year-old star said, “I’m very grateful to the court and to the people of Pitkin County. I look forward to complying with the court’s decision, getting on with my life and putting this behind me.”

The actor’s lawyer Yale Galanter was pleased with the court’s decision, saying, “Charlie got a great sentence, and I am privileged to have been able to do this for him.”

Charlie is due to return to filming ‘Two and a Half Men’ today (03.08.10) and the lawyer says his client is looking forward to the future with Brooke and their 16-month-old twin sons Bob and Max.

Yale said, “I am not a fortune teller so I can’t be sure what will happen between them. But Charlie goes back to work tomorrow. He wants to move on with his life in a positive way.”

As well as Bob and Max, Charlie also has daughters Cassandra, 26, Sam, six, and five-year-old Lola from previous relationships.

Lindsay Lohan Reunites With Her Mom After Leaving Prison

Lindsay Lohan enjoyed an emotional reunion with her mother after being released from prison.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress, who left the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, yesterday, August 2, after serving just 13 days of a 90-day sentence, hugged Dina Lohan before checking into the UCLA Medical Center to begin her court-ordered 90-day rehab stint.

Dina said, “I was finally able to hug my daughter after two long weeks of speaking to her from behind a glass wall. Lindsay is doing well, and is appreciative of the hundreds of well-wishes she has received.”

Despite Lindsay’s estranged father Michael Lohan claiming the family was upset with her receiving treatment at the facility, Dina insists they are very happy with the help she is getting.

She told RadarOnline.com, “Lindsay is with the utmost professionals and is in very good hands. I refuse to respond to any of my ex-husband’s false allegations about myself or my family.”

It had been claimed Lindsay will be isolated from her family during her stay in the rehab facility, a move Michael blasted as “stupid”.

He said, “It is beyond a reasonable doubt stupid. Part of Lindsay’s healing process is mending fences with her family.”

Michael has since spoken about Lindsay’s release and said prison could have helped save his daughter’s life.

He told the Kyle and Jackie O radio show, “I thought prison would be a horrible thing but I have to say an absolute miracle took place with regard to Lindsay turning her life around. It was a spiritual awakening for her and I hope it continues in rehab.”

Lindsay was sentenced to 90 days in prison and 90 days in rehab last month after violating the terms of probation set from her 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) conviction.

Keisha Buchanan Moves On From Sugababes

Keisha Buchanan has “moved on” from the Sugababes.

The singer, who was replaced in the British all-female trio by Jade Ewan last September amid allegations she had bullied Amelle Berrabah, doesn’t dwell on the past but has revealed she no longer speaks to former bandmate Heidi Range.

She said, “We’ve all moved on, you know. You have to stop looking back because you can’t change things. But I haven’t spoken to Heidi since.”

Keisha, who was an original member of the group along with Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy, is looking forward to releasing music as a solo artist, though she admits she is finding the experience strange.

She added to Closer magazine, “I’m extremely happy with where I am now. I don’t know how it’s going to be promoting an album on my own though, but it’s nice making decisions on my own.”

The current Sugababes line-up – Heidi, Amelle and Jade – recently insisted they are not in “competition” with Keisha.

Jade said, “Keisha is a solo artist and we’re a group so we’re not in competition with each other at all. That would be ridiculous – I’ve never even met her.”

Peter Andre Grieves For His Fan’s Death

Peter Andre has been left “heartbroken” by the death of one of his fans.

The ‘Behind Closed Doors’ singer struck up a friendship with 104-year-old Ivy Bean on social networking website twitter and came to view her as like a “grandmother” to him.

He said, “I was heartbroken to hear that Ivy Bean, the oldest person on twitter, passed away last week at the age of 104.

“As most of you know, Ivy and I had become friends over the last year and I loved her. She was like a grandmother figure and such an inspiration to me. A lot of older people have no interest in the modern world and I thought it was amazing that she embraced twitter.”

Despite his sadness, the 37-year-old singer is grateful that he was able to speak to Ivy shortly before she passed away.

He added in his column for new! magazine, “Ivy’s carer, Pat Wright, called me a couple of days before she died to say that she wasn’t feeling too good and I got to speak to Ivy one final time. I told her I loved her and how wonderful she was and I’m so glad I got the chance to do that. I’ll miss you, Beany.”

Sarah Harding Vows to Keep Partying

Sarah Harding will never give up partying.

The Girls Aloud beauty is currently holidaying in Ibiza, which is famous for its clubs, with her DJ boyfriend Tom Crane and can’t imagine a time when she will no longer enjoy her regular visits to the Spanish island.

She said, “We’ve been coming to Ibiza for years and will do until we’re old and grey. Maybe we won’t be able to last the night then, but we’ll give it a go!”

The 28-year-old singer is enjoying her break with Tom, but admits they have been so busy socializing they have had little quality time together.

She explained to Closer magazine, “In the first week, we let 12 of our friends come out to the villa, then they leave and another 12 mates arrive!

“I drink Pimm’s by the pool and don’t get up until 2.30pm every day!”

Tom, 30, recently admitted he is planning to ask Sarah to be his wife later this year.

He said, “Of course I’m going to marry Sarah. I’m going to propose after my brother’s wedding in September.

“I don’t want to steal his limelight, but as soon as that’s out the way, I’m on to it. Of course I want to marry Sarah, wouldn’t you? She’s perfect.”
