Angelina Jolie has slammed an American church for its plans to burn copies of the Quran.

The 35-year-old actress, who is currently in Pakistan, to help draw attention to the flood victims of the nation, took time out to speak about her disappointment at plans by the Dove World Outreach Centre to burn the religious book on the ninth anniversary of the September 11 attacks in New York City.

Angelina, who is the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), said at a press conference, “I have hardly the words that somebody would do that to somebody’s religious book.”

The book burning is being organized by Pastor Terry Jones of the anti-Islam, evangelical Christian church Dove World Outreach Center, in Florida.

Angelina also spoke about her sympathy for the people of Pakistan where 1,500 people have been killed and a further 20 million affected by the floods.

She said, “I was shocked especially by how high the flood waters went. In some of the people’s houses, it was 9 feet high.

“There’s lots of speculation about why this one has not gotten the attention it deserves. Even all of the wonderful coverage … is not getting the response that usually it’s able to get.”

Jay-Z, head of Roc Nation, confirmed this morning that Willow Smith is the label’s newest artist following the success of her track “Whip My Hair.”

In a statement to AllHipHop.com, Jay-Z explained why the label had chosen Smith:

“We at Roc Nation are excited to work with Willow,” Jay-Z told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “She has an energy and enthusiasm about her music that is truly infectious.  It’s rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age.  Willow is about to embark on an incredible journey and we look forward to joining her as she grows in all aspects of her career.”

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith also commented on her daughter’s record deal:

“After meeting with several record companies, it was clear that Jay-Z, Ty Ty, Jay Brown and the Roc Nation staff was the unquestionable choice. Their passion for Willow combined with their boundless vision and artistic integrity made Roc Nation the perfect home for our little girl.”

A release date for Willow’s first record was not reported, but you can listen to “Whip My Hair” below.

Spencer Pratt has apologized to Heidi Montag for his “outrageous and infantile behaviour.”

The reality TV star had threatened to release three raunchy films of Heidi, who he separated from in April after a year of marriage- if she refused his pleas to rekindle their romance and make a new television programme, but claims he is now repentant over his actions.

He said, “I horribly embarrassed the one person that meant the world to me. For my outrageous and infantile behaviour, I offer Heidi my most sincere apologies.”

Spencer’s divorce from the blonde beauty will be finalized on Valentine’s Day next year, February 14, 2011 and he admitted he lashed out because he found the process so upsetting.

He explained, “Divorce can be a trying, draining, and emotionally devastating experience for all involved. Despite these hardships, most individuals manage to conduct themselves with dignity and maturity. I did not – I failed spectacularly.”

The 26-year-old former Hills’ star also took to twitter to beg the 23-year-old beauty for forgiveness.

He wrote, “Over the years, her love, support, and friendship were always given, but never properly cherished. I let her down. She never deserved the pain and anguish I put her through, and although I don’t expect it, I hope in time she’ll be able to forgive me.

“Even though our relationship has changed, I will always count her among my best friends.”

Eastbound and Down is returning for its second season on HBO, which may mildly remove the sting of the second season of True Blood concluding.

Among eagerly-anticipating people are, according to Interview, Jack White (squee but you buried the lead there, interview!) and Marilyn Manson. Manson is so hype on the show, in fact, that he actually cosplays as Kenny Powers. Director Adam Bhala Lough explains:

“Whenever I see Manson, he’s repeating entire chunks of dialogue and dressed like Kenny,” says Lough. “He just walks around dressed like this and fucks with people on the street. If a waiter or valet tells him, ‘Have a nice day,” he’ll respond, ‘Don’t tell me what to do.’ Stuff like that. He’s even dressed like this when I’m at his house watching Béatrice Dalle films and Hoarders.” I ask Lough what Green thinks of the method role-playing, since he’s producing (upcoming slasher pic) Sisters. “I think David’s actually frightened for Danny. Because Manson wants to kidnap Danny on some King of Comedy shit. Danny should be scared.”

In Sisters, Manson will play a death metal band frontman named Lars.

Katie Holmes is not planning to have another baby.

The 31-year-old actress is currently happy to devote all her attention to her four-year-old daughter Suri, her child with husband Tom Cruise, but admits she could change her mind in the near future because she thinks it is good to have a large age gap between siblings.

Asked if she was planning another baby, she said, “Maybe in a couple of years, but right now I want to make sure I’m really there for Suri.

“I’m the youngest in my family. My closest sister is five years older than me, and the next one is nine years ahead of me, so I was a bit of an only child, and I liked it! I liked having all of my mom’s attention, and sometimes I think I still do.”

The ‘Romantics’ actress, who has never spent more than 10 days away from her 48-year-old husband, also admitted she does her best to maintain normality for Suri, even when she and Tom have to travel for work.

She explained to America’s Marie Claire magazine, “We travel a lot, and so for me, it’s keeping a daily schedule for Suri that never changes. We wake up and we do the same thing. She does her chores.

“If she doesn’t get her chores done, I notice she’s not really herself. She has to make her bed, she has to take her dishes to the sink, she has to put her clothes in the laundry – you know, that basic stuff.”

Katie acknowledges she has an “amazing” life with Tom, and is adamant neither of them take their success for granted.

She added, “It’s really exciting. Tom’s as big at home as he is on the movie screen. He’s so passionate about everything, whatever he’s doing. When he’s being a dad, he’s right there; he’s giving it his all. It’s inspiring and it’s fun. It’s an amazing life, but we always remind ourselves of how incredibly lucky we are.”

Britney Spears told her sons she was “white trash”, her ex-bodyguard claims in his harassment lawsuit against her.

Further details from documents filed by Fernando Flores against the singer reveal the extent he alleges she mistreated her children – Sean Preston, four, and Jayden James, three – and her seemingly fragile mental state.

Court documents filed by the bodyguard for “sexual harassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress” read, “On more than one occasion Defendant Spears in the presence of Plaintiff proclaimed to her young sons, ‘Mommy is WHITE TRASH!’ Her boys would then ask Plaintiff what that meant, and Plaintiff was too ashamed to tell them.”

In another section of the lawsuit, Fernando, 29, describes how Britney, who is currently under her father Jamie Spears’ conservatorship, displayed irrational, erratic and abusive behaviour toward him.

A segment from the papers, obtained by RadarOnline.com reads, “On one night shift at approximately 2am, Defendant Spears entered the pool house where Plaintiff was stationed.

“Seeming agitated, Defendant Spears walked in circles in front of Plaintiff, muttering darkly and pausing to point at Plaintiff and scream, ‘F**k you!’ to him. Plaintiff was deeply troubled by the incident.”

Elsewhere in the papers, filed on Wednesday, September 8, Fernando – who quit working for the pop star at the beginning of June – describes five instances where Britney, 28, exposed herself or made sexual advances towards him.

He also alleges she engaged in sexual intercourse in the same hotel suite as her sons and claims she fed them crabmeat, despite knowing of their allergies to seafood and hit Sean Preston with her belt.

Britney is yet to respond to the charges.

Lily Allen is expecting a baby boy, friends have claimed.

The 25-year-old singer, whose first child with boyfriend Sam Cooper is due in February, confided in pals after having an ultrasound scan to discover the gender of the tot.

A friend told The Sun newspaper, “Lily said she found out from a scan she is having a boy.

“She is really excited and can’t wait to give birth. She is always asking other mums about their pregnancies.”

The ‘Fear’ hitmaker, who is said to be looking into antenatal classes and yoga to help her through the next five months – is enjoying pregnancy but is struggling to contain her feelings of sickness and can’t stop drinking soup.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper, “I could do with a great big cup of soup right now. Chicken, tomato – whatever I can get. That’s all I’ve really been craving.

“I could have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’m serious – I just can’t get enough of it.

“The past few months have been a bit tough because I’ve been sick and stuff, but now everything’s fine, because I’ve discovered soups are the cure to my morning sickness.”

Lily, who suffered a miscarriage in January 2008, recently admitted she spent much of her first three months of pregnancy terrified something would go wrong.

She said, “I had about a week and a half of really heavy bleeding and had to have lots of scans, that’s when I had to cancel my gig in Spain. I’ve been living in fear for the past three months.”
