New York, NY (CNS) – British fashion designer Stella McCartney has created a collection for boys and girls 12 years old and below for GapKids. The new range will be launched in stores on November 2.

The collection will feature McCartney’s signature touches, such as soft color palette, familiar silhouettes, and her mix of unexpected pieces, reinterpreted with GapKids’ playful and child-like charm.

Key pieces for the girls’ range include an intarsia leopard print knit, cable knit sweater dressing and velvet blazer, while the boys’ collection speak of fun and functionality with mix monster and superhero graphic tees and navy wool peacoat with nylon concealed hoof.

McCartney said, “For years now I’ve wanted to create a collection for kids. It’s really exciting for us to do a boys and girls collection with Gap for the first time.”

“I think it has a mix of the playful and practical. I tried to create a whole kids wardrobe. There are pieces that are classic and sort of timeless and hopefully very chic, mixed with more playful and a little bit cooler pieces. It’s a reflection of our brand and a great way to experience it.”

The collection is available in GapKids and babyGap stores and online on November 2 in the U.S. and Canada, and on the 3rd in the U.K., France and Ireland.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are happy because they don’t think about the future.

The 46-year-old actress and her 31-year-old husband believe they have a successful marriage because they are grateful for the time they spend together and try never to look beyond the present.

When asked what the secret to her happy relationship was, Demi replied, “I think that’s too big of a question to take on right now. I like to look at where I am in the present moment as being the highlight.”

Despite trying not to plan for the future, Demi, who has three daughter with ex-husband Bruce Willis, recently admitted she and Ashton have discussed having children of their own one day.

She said, “Why not? Everything is possible! We have so much to live for, and obviously one of them is to have a child. I’m very enthusiastic about all the possibilities that living together gives us.

“I’m an incurable optimist and a go-getter, it’s in my nature to focus much more on what makes me happy than what makes me nervous.”

Gavin Rossdale is going to perform with his three-year-old son.

The ‘Swallowed’ singer says Kingston, his eldest child with wife Gwen Stefani, is already displaying signs of wanting to follow in the footsteps of his rocker parents and has promised him he can join them one day.

Gavin, 42, revealed, “At the last benefit we were at, he wanted to get on stage with me and sing.

“I told him we can, but we have to practice a bit first.”

Gavin added Kingston particularly loves the drums and always wants to help out in sound checks.

He told gossip website Popeater, “He always wants to come now. During the show, he loves to be on stage on the side. But he loves to play the drums during the sound checks and play with my guitar pedals. He likes to check the mic.”

Kingston and his brother, 14-month-old Zuma, often go on tour with Gavin and with Gwen’s band No Doubt, and Gwen said she valued the quality time with her children.

Speaking about a recent trip to Russia with Zuma, Gwen, 40, recently said: “It has been perfect. I knew I couldn’t be without him.”

It appears Chuck Biscuits (born Charles Montgomery) isn’t dead after all.

The tale of the death of Chuck Biscuits, a drummer who’d worked with Danzig and Black Flag, was picked up across mainstream outlets like NPR and NME yesterday. We ran a post about it as well, but it appears that the news of Biscuits’ death was actually the result of what appears to be a practical joke on a Brooklyn blogger.

The post that kicked off the story cited a private e-mail correspondence with unnamed family members, and it appears everyone took the story at face value. After the hoax gained traction, the brother of Chuck Biscuits, a man named Bob Montgomery, reached out to the blogger who’d originally posted the story and indicated that he was going down to Seattle from Canada in the wake of the rumors:

“Chuck and I have been somewhat estranged for a time, but this seems fishy. I am going to his home to get to the bottom of this, I will let you know one way or the other. If this is a hoax, I will pop Chuck in his beak. I am allowed. He is my little brother.”

Later, Montgomery confirmed that his brother was alive and that the tale was pure practical joke:

“I just wanted to let you know that Chuck [Biscuits] is alive and as well as can be expected,” said Bob Montgomery, Chuck’s brother, in an e-mail sent to the author earlier today. “I drove to his home in Seattle [from Canada] to confirm that fact.”

Suspicions rose almost immediately after heavy metal website Blabbermouth.net picked up the news of Chuck’s death from this blog yesterday and made it viral, as Bob and at least one of Chuck’s former band mates had heard nothing of the former Danzig drummer’s passing. After a brief e-mail exchange with JG2Land, Bob Montgomery decided to physically visit his brother to find out the truth once and for all.

“The only reason I put any stock in the Internet rumours was because [James Greene, Jr.] used Chucks wife’s name [in private e-mails],” Bob wrote after his visit to Chuck’s house. “Otherwise, I would have filed it under the African ruler looking for money to enlarge his penis file. I am really curious as to who’s been sending [him] this info.”

Comments after the original post also indicate that Biscuits was never suffering from cancer in the first place.

Robbie Williams has blasted Oasis for doing a “13-year lap of honour”.

The ‘Bodies’ singer has criticized the ‘Live Forever’ hitmakers, who split this summer after relations between bandmates and brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher became unmanageable, for only releasing one good single in over a decade.

He said, “To be honest, I know there’s history between us and this isn’t very complimentary, but they’ve been doing a lap of honor for the past 13 years. There’s been the occasional gem here and there. ‘The Importance of Being Idle’, and well, that’s about it.”

The 35-year-old singer has also admitted he thinks his former friends are too “stubborn” to ever reunite.

He is quoted by Britain’s The Sun newspaper as saying, “Originally I thought they’d inevitably get back together because they are the band. But reading between the lines, they’re both really stubborn so I don’t think they will.”

Robbie became friends with the brothers in 1995 after he quit boy band Take That.

However, their friendship turned sour years later when Noel labelled him a “fat dancer from Take That”.

The ‘Angels’ star hit back, branding the guitarist a “mean-spirited nasty little dwarf” and reportedly sent a funeral wreath to the band following the release of their 2000 LP ‘Standing on the Shoulder of Giants’ with a note reading: “R.I.P. Heard your latest album .”

Meanwhile, Robbie – who has just release his highly-anticipated comeback single following a three-year-break – has shocked fans by pulling out of the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).

It has been reported the former Take That star is unhappy with the way his return to the charts has been handled.

MTV have blamed his withdrawal from the music award show on “scheduling conflicts”, while Robbie’s team have refused to comment.

Sandra Bullock is amazed her husband can live with her.

The ‘Blind Side’ actress, who is married to motorbike enthusiast Jesse James, admits she can be very difficult and warned him about her habits before embarking on a relationship with him.

She said, “I know I’m not easy to deal with. I’m controlling, and I want everything orderly, and I need lists. My mind goes a mile a minute. I’m difficult on every single level. I’m aware that I can be annoying.

“It took someone like him who was unafraid. My energy can be daunting. Do you really want to wake up to this at five in the morning? Apparently, he did.”

Sandra also revealed she had no plans to even date Jesse let alone marry him.

She admitted to Parade magazine, “I had no intention of going out with him. I said no for a month, but then I got to know him. I wasn’t looking for a relationship.

“I didn’t grow up thinking, ‘I’m gonna get married and have someone take care of me. I always wanted to be happy, have a good time, work hard.”

Jay-Z opened Game 2 of the World Series last night with a performance of his new New York anthem “Empire State of Mind,” featuring Alicia Keys. (Video below.)

Players and fans completely rocked out to the song, off the Blueprint 3 and playing out of approximately 15% of car windows throughout the tri-state area right now. Derek Jeter told MLB.com:

“I think it’s special for all of New York,” Yankees captain Derek Jeter said of the hit song which is on Jay-Z’s album “The Blueprint 3″ and doubles as Jeter’s at-bat music.

“I think it almost seems like it’s the anthem for New York right now,” Jeter added. “I got an opportunity to get to know Jay-Z throughout the years and he’s very, very talented doing a lot of things. But he knows what he’s doing, so I think New York has kind of embraced that song.”

Interestingly, the Wall Street Journal of all publications posted this morning about Beanie Sigel supposedly dissing Hova in a new track called “Average Cat.”

The song, “Average Cat,”contains lyrics that reference an incident that supposedly occured at Jay-Z’s September 11 tribute concert. “The rapper Shawn called the police on me//cause I was front row at the Blue Print 3,” Siegel raps, referring to Jay-Z’s latest album, which he premiered live at the show.

The WSJ points out that Sigel just commented on how everyone has been having a go at Jigga lately, and it’s just not right.

“This ain’t the green light for everybody to start making diss Jay-Z records,” he said, adding that “this just me taking my brother out in the yard for 5 minutes.”

The singer-and-actress, who famously got chicken confused with tuna, doesn’t want to get bored in a relationship so wants a guy with brains.

She said, “I don’t want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men … people that will always keep me intrigued.”

The blonde beauty, who split from American footballer Tony Romo in July, also revealed she wants to be inspired by her next romance.

Jessica, who was previously married to Nick Lachey said, “I definitely love a spiritual man – somebody that is going to always inspire me.

“I love artistic men, somebody that really understands their art. I like a confident man.”

Jessica is currently traveling the world filming her new TV show ‘The Price of Beauty’ and says it’s made her realise what she wants out of life.

She added to US TV show ‘Extra,’ “I couldn’t have had this journey at a better time in my life, to seek out beauty, to seek out confidence and to seek out the power of a woman. It really is about who I am and what I want to become, and what’s going to make the best version of myself.”

The show sees Jessica jetting around the globe to see different interpretations of beauty.

Nicole Kidman is terrified of singing.

The 42-year-old star, who has previously released duets with her ‘Moulin Rouge!’ co-star Ewan McGregor and British singer Robbie Williams, insists she hates performing in front of people and had to be persuaded to sing in new musical movie ‘Nine’.

She said, “I was terrified of it. I am not a natural singer in the sense that I don’t love getting up in front of a group of people and just belting out a tune. It needs to be coaxed out of me because I want my voice to tell a story and sometimes it doesn’t have the capacity to do that.”

The actress felt particularly pressured because director Rob Marshall had told her he envisaged her appearing as a “goddess” in the movie.

She told Empire magazine, “When Rob approached me, he told me a role had been written especially. He told me he wanted her to look like a goddess and I was a little overwhelmed by that.”

While Nicole was eventually persuaded to record her vocals, she has previously vowed never to sing with her husband, country music star Keith Urban.

She said, “We have our work, but most important is our life together, we don’t want to blend the two.”

Jay-Z wants to be a wedding DJ.

The multimillionaire rapper said he would put on an extravagant show, using a pre-recorded set-list rather than employing professional skills.

He said, “I’ve got a whole plan. I’m gonna get me a little Serato set, some DJ software. I’m gonna work on that for six months, then I’m gonna find out which DJ makes the most and charge double and tour, do bar mitzvahs, weddings.”

The 39-year-old star, who is married to Beyonce Knowles, admits his services won’t come cheap, but promises he will be worth the money, and advises people to approach him early to get even better value.

He added, “I’m gonna have video behind me and dancers. I’m gonna have people just go out and pour champagne when I get to a certain song. I’m going to make a whole show of this thing.

“If you want to book me, book me early, because the prices will be a little better because when I get good, I’m really going to go for it.”

The rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, also said he’d think up a DJ name for his shows to wow guests.

He said, “I’m definitely going to go by a different name. I want people to hear it and be like, ‘Wow!’. It’s got to look good in lights.”
