Michael Jackson ‘Fighting Fit’ Before His Death

Michael-Jackson2
Michael Jackson was at his “fighting weight” when he died.

Kenny Ortega, the Hollywood choreographer who was working with the star on his ‘This Is It’ London comeback shows when he tragically died in June, was helping the frail singer bulk up.

He said, “He was thin, but he was at what he liked to call his ‘fighting weight’. He didn’t like to eat, but we were always watching him and making sure he had plenty of protein drinks and fluids.

“We were there sliding chicken salads in front of him and making sure he was OK. But he was strong and he was getting stronger.”

Kenny has also recalled the stunned atmosphere at the Staples Center in Los Angeles when news of Michael’s passing hit the rehearsal space.

He added, “We were all waiting for him, gathered for a big rehearsal, and then the text messages and news started to filter in and we realized the news. It was really sad.”

Documentary film ‘This Is It’, which is made up of footage from Michael’s rehearsals, is set being released in cinemas from October 28.

Edward Norton Says No to Social Networking

edward-norton
Edward Norton thinks social networking sites are like “torture”.

Unlike many other celebrities, the ‘Leaves of Grass’ actor has never written an internet blog because he hates the idea of people cyber stalking him.

The 40-year-old star explained, “I haven’t personally really engaged in a lot of this new kind of social networking stuff like Twitter or Facebook or MySpace.

“I mean, the notion of people following what I am doing every day is like torture for me. It’s absolutely the last thing that I’m looking for. It seems to me to be really just about social chatter.”

Despite his web worries, Edward agreed to sign up to Twitter to help raise money for his favorite charity, the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust.

He added to Parade magazine, “It’s a good example of a way that you can turn that platform into something where you actually can accomplish something good.

“It’s my first attempt. We’re putting our running training log on Twitter. You can see can see pictures too on the site there.”

The trust conserves the wildlife and culture of the Maasai tribe of Kenya, Africa.”

Pics: Cami Parker goes on Stern show, causes women to cringe nationally

cami parker

Web searches are off the hook today for Bunny Ranch hooker Cami Parker after a racy (and racist?) Howard Stern show interview which shook my basic belief that most things between consenting adults are a-okay.

Parker is undeniably mass-produced pretty, in the way manufactured homes and brand new malls can be pretty- although even in the product pics on her Bunny Ranch page, Cami looks like uncomfortable. As if she’s smiling through some kind of low level discomfort, like a blister or vagina-sand. Cami describes her “interests” in detail on her page:

Will you help me fulfill my fantasies? Making you feel good makes me feel sooo good.

My interests include music, the theater, blowjobs, fine dining, blowjobs, traveling, museums, art galeries, expensive shoes, trying new things in bed, blow jobs, playing the blackjack tables, fulfilling your fantasies, shopping, blowjobs, making you feel like a king, laughing, writing, and blowjobs.

I went to massage school in Canada and love touching people. If you think we have any common interests, I’d love to meet you. I like girls and I can promise you the greatest time of your your life because making you feel good is what I do best.

Cami’s canned misogynist banter and dismissal of black men as “not her thing” is sadly just the kind of icky one expects out of the Bunny Ranch. Cami also admits to frequently rolling in the hay with that gross old madam Dennis Hof, who she creepily calls “Daddy.” Ew, ew ew. I know homegirl has a product to sell, but watching Cathouse just makes me wish these women could do it in a way that’s not damaging to the rest of us that have to walk around in possession of breasts on a daily basis.

Girl of your dreams? Have you got a rainy day fund? Cami Parker also told Howard Stern that she’s auctioning her “other” virginity for a mere $25,000. While I’ve always vehemently thought prostitution should be legal, sex workers like this are just a whole bowl of wrong. You can read the even more lurid details of Cami Parker’s Howard Stern interview and Bunny Ranch experiences here.

Snoop Dogg Wants Vampire Role in True Blood

snoop-dogg

Snoop Dogg wants to be a vampire.

The ‘Gangsta Luv’ rapper is a huge fan of ‘True Blood’ and is keen to land a role on the hit US TV horror series.

He said, “I love that show. I wish I could be on it. I’d be a hell of a vampire, don’t you think?

“So what’s happenin’? ‘True Blood’, get at me – Snoop Dogg wants to be a vampire.”

Snoop is so keen to appear on ‘True Blood’ he has even paid tribute to it on his new song ‘Gangsta Luv’ – the first single from his new album ‘Malice n Wonderland’.

He raps, “Everyday is the same thang, I creep in/ It’s like ‘True Blood’, I sink my teeth in/ I gotta have it.”

Snoop isn’t the only star to recently confess an interest in undead blood-sucking creatures.

Katie Holmes has revealed she loves watching horror films and would enjoy portraying a vampire if the storyline is realistic.

Talking about her favourite type of movie, Katie said, “It can be any genre. I even like vampire movies – they just have to be well done. I want to believe in the characters. The minute it starts to feel not real, I’m not interested.”

Lil Wayne Going to Jail

lil wayne going to jail

Rapper Lil Wayne is going to jail as part of a plea deal to avoid a longer term behind bars on gun charges.

According to reports, Lil Wayne will plead guilty for his possession of a .40 caliber gun found on his bus in 2007. Lil Wayne was expected to protest his innocence, but an announcement by authorities that they were to confirm Lil Wayne’s DNA was found on the gun making the chances of a conviction far more likely, bought about the change.

Under the deal, Lil Wayne will reportedly plead guilty for possession in exchange for an 8-month term in jail. If 8 months sounds harsh, Lil Wayne could have faced 15 years behind bars for each count of criminal weapons possession and criminal possession of a loaded weapon. It’s believed that authorities will drop the other charges in return for the guilty plea on the lesser charge.

Lil Wayne joins a long list of rappers who have faced or spent time in jail, a move that it nearly a right of passage in some parts of the industry.
