Ivanka Trump has married in front of 500 friends and family.

The 27-year-old heiress, who is the daughter of Ivana and Donald Trump, wed her publisher fiance Jared Kushner at a lavish ceremony at her father’s luxurious Trump National Gold Club in New Jersey yesterday October 25.

She wrote on her Twitter account, “Just finished a gorgeous hike. The leaves are spectacular and the sun is shining. Everything is simply perfect! I’m getting married today!”

The night before the wedding, the businesswoman-and-model spent the evening relaxing with a handful of her closest friends.

She wrote, “At a very casual ‘rehearsal’ dinner with friends… just five of my lady friends and me having a casual dinner and getting excited. Perfect!”

The blonde beauty wore a delicate Vera Wang wedding gown on the day and celebrated long into the evening. At one stage veteran US TV personality Regis Philbin serenaded the couple with a song.

Ivanka and Jared, who owns The New York Observer newspaper, had dated on and off for two years before he proposed in July.

Robert Pattinson took inspiration from James Dean for his role in ‘Twilight’.

The 23-year-old British actor, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the hit movie franchise, owes his success to the Academy Award-nominated star of ‘Rebel Without a Cause’.

He said, “I tried copying James Dean’s accent just because I’ve always wanted James Dean’s voice. I think that is why it has worked. Everyone loves a bit of James Dean.”

Pattinson also tried to copy the acting style of the screen legend, who tragically died aged 24 after a car crash.

He added, “‘Rebel Without a Cause’ was a big influence on the first ‘Twilight’ film – it influenced the hair and stuff. In lots of ways, it has a very similar character arc. An everyday girl brings this relatively strange individual out of his slump.”

Although Pattinson is thrilled with the success of ‘Twilight’, he admits he still feels overawed by his legions of female fans.

He said, “I’m not entirely sure what it is. I’ll probably realize afterwards how I could have controlled it a little bit more. But I am still like a deer in headlights at the moment.”

Michael Jackson’s unreleased songs are at the center of a bidding war.

The late singer’s unheard music is reportedly being sent out to several record companies who are interested in releasing the tracks he was working on before his death in June.

Michael’s long-time attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain – who are overseeing Jackson’s estate – are said to be speaking with Sony Music, Universal Music Group and one other unnamed interested party about the catalogue.

A source said, “Universal and Sony have the two best worldwide distribution systems, so Branca is looking for who can provide the highest bid.”

According to the New York Post newspaper, the estate is believed to be keen to extend the deal Michael had in place with Sony Music to cover the 70 songs he wrote, produced and recorded after 2004.

However, the estate wants more money than Sony is prepared to offer.

At present, the label will have control of all recordings made before 2004 for the next few years until it becomes property of Michael’s estate.

A source said, “We’re trying to figure out the terms.”

Angelina Jolie made her son’s birthday cake with help from a TV show.

The ‘Changeling’ star used a cult cookery show’s recipe to put together a baked treat for her eldest son, eight-year-old Maddox.

Sandra Lee, host of the Food Network’s ‘Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee’, said, “I was really surprised when her friend let me know she made my No Bake birthday cake. She’s a Semi-Homemade mommy just like the rest of us!”

Angelina, who is in talks to star in a biopic of the Gucci fashion house, used the time-saving recipe for Maddox’s birthday in August.

The cake is made from a putting pre-bought sponge cakes together and adding cupcakes and cookies.

Sandra added, “I’m very proud not just that she made my cake but that someone of her stature isn’t delegating these tasks to other people.”

Angelina, 34, raises five other children – son Pax, five, daughter Zahara, four, three-year-old daughter Shiloh and 15-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne – with her partner Brad Pitt.

Charlize Theron raised $140,000 by kissing a girl.

The 34-year-old actress stunned guests at the OneXOne charity event in San Francisco last Thursday October 22, with a foul-mouthed outburst after bidding for her offering of a trip to South Africa to watch a game at the soccer World Cup in 2010 and a meet-and-greet with Nelson Mandela raised just $37,000, and vowed to smooch the lucky bidder if the price was raised.

Referring to an earlier offering from Jeremy Piven which saw two walk-on roles in his US drama ‘Entourage’ sold for a total of $275,000, she said, “For f**ks sake! You can do better. There is no way I am leaving here with Jeremy Piven getting a higher bid.”

Charlize, who took over hosting the event after ‘Bourne Ultimatum’ star Matt Damon pulled out due to a “family emergency,” was shocked when an unnamed woman offered the staggering sum but agreed to lock lips as the cheering crowd counted down the seconds.

The South African-born star, who is in a long-term relationship with Irish actor Stuart Townsend, 36, joked after the 20-second kiss, “My boyfriend is not here.”

Charlize’s offering raised money for the Charlize Theron African Outreach Project, which is teaming with the OneXOne Foundation to bring soccer pitches and clean water to the children of South Africa by 2010. Other celebrities at the event included Josh Groban, Carlos Santana and David Arquette.

Hilary Swank was left drenched in sweat after her first flight lesson.

The actress, who plays famous aviator Amelia Earhart in upcoming movie ‘Amelia,’ says she was concentrating so hard it left her covered in perspiration.

She said, “I’m not big on sweating, but I found that after two hours of a flight lesson, I would land and my back was drenched. It wasn’t from fear, but from concentration.”

Hilary, who was stopped from getting her full pilot’s licence because the film’s insurance would not cover it, also revealed she felt privileged to play Amelia, who went missing in 1937 after a flight.

The Oscar-winning star told Chicago Sun-Times. “Her life was certainly short. But she accomplished so much in that lifetime. She was also a reminder to me that you constantly have to look within. You have to also live for yourself and not other people. I want to look at my life and know I’m not missing anything.

“I believe that you can live your life the way you want, find love and experience your dreams. You can have it all. For a short time, Amelia had it all.”

Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil have sparked speculation they have remarried.

Less than two months after their divorce was finalized, the couple, who are both recovering from heroin and crack cocaine addictions, have changed their Facebook profiles to read “married”.

Minutes after updating his relationship status, Blake posted a message on the social networking website reading, “Can’t argue with true love. What’s the point?”

The post prompted dozens of the couple’s friends to write messages of congratulations on the social networking site.

The reunion is likely to infuriate the ‘Back to Black’ singer’s father Mitch, who blames Blake for his daughter’s problems with drugs and alcohol.

A family friend said, “Amy’s family, especially Mitch, will be furious. They have been so happy with her progress and are terrified that if she gets back together with Blake she will fall back into drugs again.”

Blake, 27, divorced Amy, 25, in July on the grounds of her infidelity.

Since then, they have been communicating via the internet, using Facebook to reminisce about their relationship and profess their love for each other.

In one rambling post, Blake – who nicknamed Amy ‘Lioness’ – wrote, “Love you too innit and vairvair proud of youse, know dis lioness civilishous. X (sic).”

Amy also posed as her cat to send secret online messages to Blake and weeks after their divorce, Mitch caught the couple, who married in2007, in bed together.

Katy Perry celebrated her 25th birthday with a Willy Wonka-styled party, Saturday October 24.

The ‘Hot N Cold’ singer held the bash at The Sunset Beach nightspot in Los Angeles and guests at the party, who had been told to wear white, were left covered head-to-toe in paint.

One said, “They got a little crazy with the paint. I wasn’t expecting it but everyone got painted, even Taylor Swift!”

The birthday girl arrived at the party, which had Oompah Loompahs running around and a huge variety of candy and chocolate inspired by the sweet maker’s workshop from Roald Dahl’s classic tale, ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,’ and guests say they couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

One reveler said, “They were totally loved up! Katy was having a ball and Russell was catering to her every whim. At one point he was down on his knees bowing and offering her a huge swirly lollipop. She grabbed it from his hands and pretended to knight him with it.”

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was among the guests and insists Katy’s hospitality didn’t disappoint.

He said, “Dinner included lots of yumminess, especially some deelish yellow and green mashed potatoes – and there were so many sweets downstairs for dessert that we’re surprised we didn’t go into a food coma.”

The 19-year-old beauty said, “I’ve been given the freedom to do whatever I want. I’m 19 – if I want to storm out of the house and go to a club and get drunk and take my clothes off and run naked through Nashville, I can do that. I just really would rather not. It’s as simple as that. It’s not like I’ve been beaten down by some corporation that’s forcing me to always behave myself – I just naturally do. Sometimes people are fascinated by the fact that I don’t care about partying, almost to the point where they think it’s weird. I think when we get to the point where it’s strange for you not to be stumbling around high on something at 19, it’s a warped world.”

Taylor also says she is getting revenge on the girls who used to bully her at school by writing songs about them.

She told Britain’s You magazine, “I would go to school and not have anyone to talk to, but what I could look forward to was going home and writing something about it. There’s where the revenge of writing a song about someone who’s means to you started.

“If you’re horrible to me I’m going to write a song about you and you are not going to like it. That’s how I operate.”
