New York, NY (CNS) – Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ World Series performance has been moved to Thursday, a day after their original schedule. It was announced that the “Empire State of Mind” hitmakers will perform their NYC ode before the game’s first pitch Thursday.

The duo, both New York natives, were announced to perform their hit single at the World Series on Wednesday, when the NY Yankees will play against defending champions the Philadelphia Phillies.

But in a joint statement made by Jay-Z and Major League Baseball, they are changing the date to Thursday, October 29, due to the forecast of inclement weather for Wednesday. Staging for the performance could impact the playing field if it is wet.

“Empire State of Mind” comes from Jay-Z’s “The Blueprint 3″ album.

Lisa Kudrow is to be reunited with her former ‘Friends’ co-star Courteney Cox.

The actress, who played ditzy blonde Phoebe Buffay in the hit US series, will guest star on Courteney’s new TV show ‘Cougar Town’ early next year.

Courteney, 45, told website TVMagazine.com, “She’ll play a dermatologist that my character can’t stop going to even though she’s mean to me. She is the best in town and I get addicted.”

Courteney, who plays a newly-single mother in her 40s in the programme, would also love to get her other friend Jennifer Aniston a guest spot.

She said, “She’s younger than me so she can’t play my contemporary even though she did on ‘Friends’, but I think we can find something great for her to play.”

The pair shared a steamy kiss when Jennifer, 40, made a cameo on Courteney’s tabloid drama ‘Dirt’ in 2007.

The brunette beauty also revealed she asked Matthew Perry, who played her on-screen husband Chandler Bing in ‘Friends’, to play her love interest in ‘Cougar Town’.

Courteney, who played cleaning obsessive Monica Geller – said: “I did ask Matthew if he’d play my boyfriend on the show. But he thought it was a little too much after Chandler and Monica.”

Michael Buble’s girlfriend thought he was gay.

The Canadian crooner says he was so intimidated when he first met Argentian actress Luisana Lopilato at one of his concerts last November that he spent the night talking to her male friend instead.

He told Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “I don’t speak Spanish and she had no English. But the guy did so I just spoke to him. I was a bit nervous because of how beautiful she was.

“I later found out she was on the phone to her mother the whole time saying, ‘Buble’s gay. He’s hitting on my friend’.”

After finding out that Luisana was single, Michael, 34, asked her out and the couple have been together ever since, much to the unhappiness of the 22-year-old beauty’s devotees.

Michael admitted, “I get the feeling some people – perhaps her fans – don’t like me. The media there have said terrible things about me.”

The actor, who broke up with ‘The Young Victoria’ actress Emily Blunt in 2008 amid rumors of his infidelity, had previously said he found it difficult dating other performers.

He said, “You’re never together. You’re lucky if you can see the person once every two to three months.”

Lily Allen says that drink and drugs are “what life’s all about”.

The 24-year-old singer who celebrated her Q Award win for Best Track for single ‘The Fear’ at a pub with rockers The Cribs and Edwyn Collins after the London ceremony on Monday October 26, insists you would take the fun out of life if you never got intoxicated.

The ‘Not Fair’ star is quoted by Britain’s Daily Star newspaper as saying, “Why the hell would you give up booze? No drinking until Christmas, yeah right? Drink and class A drugs – that’s what life’s all about.”

Lily also revealed her new man Sam Cooper, who attended the star-studded ceremony with her, is putting a smile on her face.

She said, “Everything is great. I’m really happy – he makes me really happy. We’re having a good time.”

Lily has previously admitted she partied a little too hard when she first shot to fame in the pop world.

She said, “If you’d come to my place two years ago, I wouldn’t have been up before midday. There would have been half-empty vodka bottles everywhere, drugs, whatever. But loads of people take drugs and then get up and work, you can never say never.”

Nick Jonas is launching a solo career.

The Jonas Brothers singer has been working on his debut album ‘Nick Jonas and The Administration’ for the past six months and it will be released next year.

His mother Denise confirmed, “Nick is working on a solo act – it’s called ‘Nick Jonas and The Administration’. Shhh! He’s at the photo shoot for the album cover right now.”

However, The Jonas Brothers, made up of Nick and his siblings Joe and Kevin insist they are not splitting and have plans to make more music together.

They wrote on their blog, “The Jonas Brothers are NOT breaking up! We are ALL excited about this project AND what we are doing TOGETHER! We plan to make music together for as long as we can. (sic)”

The trio are also planning a world tour for next year and industry insiders believe Nick branching out will benefit their future.

One said, “This project would only expand the Jonas brand. The music is amazing and really shows off Nick’s vocal range.”

Robert Pattinson has been dumped by Kristen Stewart because he wanted to marry her.

The 19-year-old actress reportedly called time on her romance with her ‘Twilight’ co-star because the 23-year-old British actor was making her feel pressured and smothered.

A source told America’s OK! magazine, “Robert was talking marriage but she told him they needed a break.”

It has also been claimed Kristen felt their relationship was stopping her from spending time with friends and family.

The couple – who have never confirmed their romance, despite being pictured looking intimate on several occasions – were also said to have been arguing over how to continue their relationship while living in different countries.

An insider explained, “Now ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ has finished filming, there’s been a lot of tension about the logistics of their relationship as Robert wants to go back to the UK, while Kristen prefers to stay in Los Angeles.”

While filming the third movie in the series, Robert – who plays vampire Edward Cullen – had been sharing a luxury penthouse apartment with Kristen, who stars as love interest Bella Swann.

The pair had rented out the entire 34th floor of the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel in Vancouver, Canada, at a cost of $850 a suite each night.

A source said, “They have two rooms joined by a door. They use a third suite on the floor to listen to music or watch Blu-ray movies on a large, flat screen, when they stay in after a day’s shooting or on weekends.

“They’re great. Every room has floor-to-ceiling windows and large, flat screen TVs and chandeliers. The baths double as Jacuzzis. And, best of all, that floor has its own butler and security. Robert and Kristen are transported to and from the set by accessing a private elevator system in the hotel that leads to a gated and guarded garage.”

Corey Feldman’s wife has filed for divorce.

The ‘Lost Boys’ actor’s spouse of seven years, Susannah, cited “irreconcilable differences” in the papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on October 22.

Susannah has requested legal and physical custody of their five-year-old son Zen, with Corey paying spousal and child support, while having visitation rights.

Corey and Susannah married in 2002, nine months after meeting in a nightclub, on the final episode of reality show ‘The Surreal Life’.

In 2007, Corey revealed how Susannah and his son had helped him overcome his depression and drug abuse problem.

He said, “Six years together and we’re still in love. Whereas I used to get depressed or neurotic or dwell on things, I see my son’s bright eyes and smile in the morning, and suddenly, I don’t feel like I’m depressed anymore. There’s nothing to be depressed about when you’ve got that.”

Corey, 38, was previously married to actress Vanessa Marcil, from 1989 to 1993.

Ozzy Osbourne doesn’t want his daughter to rush into marriage.

The Black Sabbath rocker admits he only granted Luke Worrall, 20, permission to propose to Kelly, 24, on the condition that they don’t go through with the wedding until they have lived together for a while.

Ozzy told Closer Magazine, “I said, ‘You can propose, but don’t even think about getting married, don’t even go there!’ ”

“But Kelly’s not a baby, I can’t tell her what to do, but I’ve said if they want to give it a try, live together first. I think it’s better they’re with each other because they want to be – not because they have to. And everyone seems to get divorced these days.”

This is not the first time Ozzy has spoken about his concerns over Kelly’s wedding plans.

He recently admitted he worries the couple will marry without him being there.

He said, “I would be disappointed if she said to me, ‘Dad, I went to Las Vegas last weekend and got married.’ And that would be for no other reason than I want to walk her down the aisle. It is every father’s dream.

“If she gets married it will be a sad day for me, and if they break up, Kelly will be terribly sad.”

Mel C says starring her first theatre role is the most challenging thing she’s ever had to do.

The former Spice Girls star, who performed to packed out audiences around the globe during her time with the group, admits taking on the role of Mrs. Johnson in hit show ‘Blood Brothers’ on London’s West End has presented her with a very daunting task.

She said, “Doing ‘Blood Brothers’ is my biggest challenge. I’ve never had a serious acting role before, so I’m daunted. But I’m in good hands,  and coming from Liverpool, I feel very comfortable with Willy Russell’s script.”

Merseyside-based musical ‘Blood Brothers’ tells the story of twins who have been separated at birth, with one staying with his birth mother Mrs. Johnson and the other going to rich family, and the different paths their lives take.

Despite her string of successes with the Spice Girls, Mel has admitted she is only just beginning to appreciate how good they were.

She said, “We had lots of enthusiasm. We weren’t the world’s greatest singers and dancers, but we always took pride in what we did. Recently I saw the video for ‘Say You’ll Be There’ for the first time in ages, and I thought, ‘Wow, we were good!’ ”
