If a murderer begging for forgiveness yesterday was difficult enough to watch, today’s Oprah featured chimp attack victim Charla Nash who…well….holy mother of god.

Earlier this year Charla Nash went to help a friend retrieve a set of keys from a chimpanzee who didn’t appreciate the attention. The chimpanzee named Travis ripped off Nash’s eyes, lips, nose, various parts of her scalp and parts of her jawbone.

Travis, who had appeared on television shows, was apparently suffering from Lyme Disease, well before Charla Nash’s friend killed him with a butchers knife to stop him attacking her.

Charla Nash appeared on Oprah wearing a hat with a veil across her face, and there’s a reason why: there’s not much left of it at all. In fact, she’s fortunate to be alive at all.

Katie Price thinks her daughter sometimes looks like a “little troll”.

The former glamour model, who also has sons Harvey, seven, and Junior, four, loves experimenting with two-year-old Princess’ blonde curly hair and blasted critics who say she is trying to make the toddler grow up too quickly.

She said, “Princess is a mini-me. She has naturally curly blonde hair which I straightened recently and it didn’t look good, she looked like a little troll. Princess is a really girly girl who loves sparkly things and having her nails done.

“People criticize me for putting nail varnish on her fingers and toes, saying she should remain a baby, but who cares? I want her to be as girly as possible and not grow up too quickly. If she came home from school aged 12 in fishnets and a cropped top then she’d get a massive telling-off and would be grounded. She can wait until she’s 18 before she starts wearing that kind of stuff.”

Meanwhile, Katie – who is currently dating cross-dressing cage fighter Alex Reid – has revealed her son Junior and his friends also have a penchant for dressing up in girlie frocks.

She explained to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, “Princess likes dressing up in my clothes, but so does Junior. He and his little friend George go into Princess’ room and come out with hair clips on, wearing her little princess clothes for fun.”

Princess and Junior are Katie’s children with ex-husband Peter Andre, while Harvey is her son with soccer player Dwight Yorke.

Robbie Williams is expected to perform with Take That tomorrow night, November 12.

The ‘Bodies’ hitmaker , who left the group in 1995 following a rift with his bandmates, has reportedly agreed to perform with Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen for the first time in 15 years for British charity Children In Need.

Former Beatles star Sir Paul McCartney is also believed to be joining the band on stage at London’s Royal Albert Hall, though the supergroup are still discussing what to sing.

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “The reunion is go. Robbie is utterly thrilled about it. He’s been dreaming of performing with Take That again for years and now it’s going to happen.

“Gary is looking forward to singing with Rob again, but landing Paul McCartney is without doubt his biggest coup. They haven’t decided what they are going to sing together, but something will take shape in rehearsals.”

Other performers at the charity event include Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole, ‘Bleeding Love’ hitmaker Leona Lewis and ‘Bonkers’ rapper Dizzee Rascal.

Robbie, who has previously battled alcohol and drug addictions, walked out on the band in 1995 and famously refused to speak to bandmate Gary for 10 years.

But in 2005 the pair made contact and have since been writing together.

Meanwhile, Take That bandmate Mark got his sister to sing at his wedding.

The pint-sized star asked Tracy to perform with a choir when he tied the knot last weekend to Emma Ferguson, and she wowed the congregation with a rendition of Judy Collins’ version of Amazing Grace.

A source at the service said of Tracy’s performance, “She was amazing. Singing definitely runs in the family.”

Rihanna demands pizza, fries and doughnuts in her dressing room.

The slender ‘Umbrella’ singer is set to perform in London next week and amazed organizers with her requests for her favorite calorific treats, which totaled more than 7,000 calories, and also included crisps, microwave lasagnes, fried noodles, chicken drumsticks and an apple.

A show source said, “When it comes to the big US stars, we’re used to getting ridiculously healthy requests. Rihanna was a breath of fresh air. There was none of this carb and gluten-free nonsense.”

The 21-year-old-star, who will launch her new album ‘Rated R’ at the concert next Monday November 16, which will be streamed around the world, refuses to watch her diet because she believes performing helps her stop piling on the pounds.

She said, “Being on tour gets you in shape which is good considering how I eat pretty much whatever I can get my hands on.

“You perform for an hour and a half so you can work some of it off at least. But not all of it!”

The Barbados-born singer also recently splashed out more than $50,000 to fly her family to New York to celebrate winning a Woman of the Year award from Glamour magazine on Monday night, November 11.

Katy Perry pulled out of a TV show to have sex with Russell Brand.

The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer was due to appear on ‘Chris Moyles’ Quiz Night’, but Russell rang the presenter to inform him the American beauty would no longer be a guest on the show.

A source said, “Chris got a call from Russell late at night before telling him Katy wouldn’t be appearing as they wanted to spend the evening together.

“Chris was a bit annoyed but thinks Katy is hot as well, and if she was his girlfriend he would probably do the same!”

Instead, the loved-up couple went out to dinner at a trendy East London restaurant before heading back to Russell’s London home at 8.30pm.

Disappointed Chris, who was recording an episode to be broadcast in the UK in February told his audience, “Katy is tired apparently. But then she does go out with Russell Brand.”

Meanwhile, Katy’s ex-boyfriend, Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy, said he was pleased for his former girlfriend’s new romance, but said that he was better looking than Russell.

He said, “It is really not in my character to be nasty about anyone and I wish her luck. I do think I have better hair than Russell, though.”

While he bears no hard feelings towards Katy, Travis admits the end of their romance has inspired several tracks on his new album but claimed his dog was equally important in his life as the singer.

He told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, “Being in a relationship with Katy has inspired tracks. I’ve also written songs about my puppy. That’s inspired me as much as any relationship situation because he’s my baby boy.”

Angelina Jolie is set to adopt a baby from Syria.

The Oscar-winning actress, who already has three adopted children, as well as three biological ones, with partner Brad Pitt, has reportedly started the process to bring home a baby girl from the Asian country.

However, Brad is said to not be keen on the idea but an undeterred Angelina began the proceedings on her own.

A source said, “He has made it clear that six children are more than he can handle. The idea of one more seemed ludicrous, but Angie is determined to complete her rainbow family.”

A spokesman for the Immigration and Naturalisation Service in Washington D.C. confirmed that “only Angelina’s name was on the adoption papers.”

Angelina adopted her eldest son Maddox, now eight, from Cambodia in 2001, while she was still married to second husband Billy Bob Thornton, but was legally his only parent.

After splitting from Billy, she went on to adopt Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005 and soon after getting together with Brad, he legally became the father of both children.

The couple then had their first biological child, Shiloh, in May 2006 before adopting Pax, now five, from Vietnam in March 2007.

They then became the proud parents of twins, Knox and Vivienne, who were born in July 2008.

Boyzone are spending a lot of time together because it feels like Stephen Gately is still with them.

The Irish group – Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham – are still mourning the loss of their bandmate, who died of natural causes last month, but are focusing on their work as it makes them miss the singer less.

Ronan told UK TV show ‘GMTV’, “The four of us are sticking together a lot because when we are together we feel like he is in the room almost.”

The singer also spoke about the group’s decision to release a new album, insisting is what their friend would have wanted and believes it is an appropriate tribute to the late star.

He added, “We are going to make a record. There were two songs Stephen had already put vocals on, so we are going to release it for Ste-o. I think it will be out in the first quarter next year.

“More than anything we are so excited about making the record for Stephen, for the fans.”

His bandmate Keith said, “It’s not about Boyzone, we’re putting it out for him because we know he would have wanted that and we think people are really going to like it”

Keith also admitted he broke down in tears the first time he heard the material they are working on.

He said, “I listened to it for the first time with my mum and we ended up bawling.”

Stephen died aged 33 from an acute pulmonary oedema, a build-up of fluid in the lungs, at his holiday home in Majorca on October 10.

Rihanna will welcome a “new era” when her new album comes out.

The singer is set to release ‘Rated R’ later this month and admits she has felt massively nervous about performing songs written in the aftermath of her assault at the hands of former boyfriend Chris Brown.

She said, “There are a lot of butterflies, a lot of excitement.

“I’m anxious. Like, I can’t wait. But you’re always nervous, because you’re about to go do something big. It’s a new thing, a new era. But I’m not scared. I’m just really excited. I just can’t wait to start.

“My first time performing the songs was on Sunday night in Los Angeles with Jay-Z. We did ‘Run This Town’ and ‘Hard,’ and I kept thinking, ‘Why the hell am I so nervous?’ And I couldn’t figure it out. But then I knew why: It was the first time performing one of my new songs.”

Marking her new era, Rihanna looked radiant when she stepped out in New York on Monday night (09.11.09) to accept a Woman of the Year award.

The ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker was one of several high-profile females, including author Maya Angelou, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wife Maria Shriver, designer Stella McCartney, tennis star Serena Williams and comedienne Amy Poehler, honored by Glamour magazine.

US First Lady Michelle Obama was given an award of special recognition for bringing the importance of mentoring to the forefront.

The honorees are chosen by a board of former winners, including Jennifer Lopez, and awards were presented at a special ceremony at Carnegie Hall.

Madonna has been accompanied to Brazil by her rabbi.

The ‘4 Minutes’ singer flew into South America on a private jet on Monday November 11, and despite speculation her visit to Rio de Janeiro is to meet boyfriend Jesus Luz’s family, she insists she is there to carry out charity work.

Speaking ahead of her visit, she said, “I am going there strictly for fund-raising and humanitarian purposes.”

The 51-year-old star, who was casually dressed in a tracksuit as she disembarked her aircraft, has not disclosed her agenda for the visit, but she arrived with the Kabbalah Centre’s Rabbi Michael Berg, her partner in the Raising Malawi project, and is expected to meet with Rio Governor Sergio Cabral and Mayor Eduardo Paes today, November 11.

Sergio said, “She will visit several projects here. She is delighted by the city and wants to be engaged and help.”

Despite her insistence the jaunt is for charitable reasons, it is expected Madonna will meet the family of 23-year-old Jesus during her trip.

The ‘Celebration’ singer is said to be “on edge” at the prospect of meeting Cristiane Regina da Silva and Luis Heitor Pinto da Luz.

A friend of model Jesus said, “She is slightly on edge. But an engagement could be on the cards.”

Jesus, who has been dating the pop star since late last year, is desperate to be “taken seriously”, get married and secure their relationship.

The pal added, “Madonna really does love and need Jesus – and she does not hold all the power in their relationship. He grew up with strong Christian beliefs.

“He wants to marry and be taken seriously. She doesn’t want to lose Jesus and so the visit to his parents is her way of saying she will make this relationship permanent.

“He wants proof of commitment and he wants her to make an honest man of him.”

Lindsay Lohan was dating Heath Ledger when he died, her mother has claimed.

Dina Lohan alleges the ‘Mean Girls’ actress was romantically involved with the ‘Dark Knight’ star when he died of an accidental drug overdose in January 2008 and has never fully recovered from his death.

Dina told Lindsay father Michael in a leaked phone call published on Radar Online: “And she was dating Heath when he died? I don’t know if you know that, but I know because I would drop her off and they were friends very, very close, ok?”

Dina, who is divorced from Michael, fears Lindsay’s reaction to Heath’s tragic death is the cause of her many personal problems and may eventually prompt her to accidentally take her own life.

She said in the 2008 phone call, “When she’s drunk or takes an Adderall with it she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking.

“His death f***ed her up.”

When Heath died it was revealed Lindsay had been left crushed by the news and had told friends she loved him.

Meanwhile, Lindsay recently left a friend’s birthday party in tears due to her relationship woes with on/off girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

A fellow partygoer at Los Angeles nightclub Crown Bar said, “She was happy for most of the night chatting with her friends, then the texting and emailing started and she was preoccupied for ages. At one point Lindsay walked to the other side of the club by herself, totally engaged with her phone.”

“One second she was smiling and the next second she just flipped out and left really fast. Her emotions are all over the place. Lindsay is a total mess and still going back and forth with Samantha.”
