Fergie’s husband Josh Duhamel loved having “extra meat” to grab hold of when she put on weight.

The Black Eyed Peas star put on 13lbs for her role in new musical movie ‘Nine’ but says her actor spouse never made her feel body-conscious.

She said, “When I came home from filming he was excited. He enjoys having both: the extra meat to grab when it’s there and the tight stomach when that’s there…he’s never been critical.”

Fergie also said she is the perfect partner because she can be both a good girl and bad girl.

She told America’s Cosmopolitan magazine, “You know, in Italy, Catholic boys are raised to believe that there are two types of women: the Madonna and the whore. And me? I’m both.”

The couple’s marriage was recently rocked by allegations the ‘Transformers’ star had cheated on his wife with a stripper.

However, both Fergie and Josh, who married in January, have branded the claims of infidelity as “ridiculous” and have since put on a show of togetherness.

Jim Carrey says his latest film, ‘A Christmas Carol’, mirrors his own journey out of depression.

The ‘Ace Ventura: Pet Detective’ actor, who has suffered from the mood disorder since 1994 and admitted to taking prescription drugs – said starring in the heartwarming traditional festive tale helped him to find perspective on his own life.

He said, “Everybody loves a good transformational story – somebody who sees the light and finds out what’s important in life. It was wonderful to get to the bottom of a character I’ve seen done a hundred different ways.”

Speaking of turning his own life around, Jim, 47, said there is now “more light” since he has banished prescription drugs, switched to a healthy diet and became step-father to his partner Jenny McCarthy’s autistic six year old son Evan.

He explained, “I created tools to help my treatment and I went down a path with some amazing scientific minds who are using supplemental treatments for depression.”

Jim, who plays the role of Scrooge as well as the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future in the film, also said he enjoyed showing Evan the film and sitting with him through it for the first time.

He added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “I’m so happy to have a beautiful family and to be able to sit there with Evan showing him clips of the movie.

“I took him through the scary parts and told him the ghost was coming and he loved it.”

Jim has previously been married twice, to waitress Melissa Wormer for eight years and ten months to actress Lauren Holly.

Kate Moss has asked Victoria Beckham to find her a home.

The supermodel is househunting in Los Angeles and enlisted her new friend, who lives in the American city with husband David Beckham and their sons Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, seven, and Cruz, four, to help look for a new property.

A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, “Kate has asked her people to contact Victoria’s management.

“She wanted to know which real estate agents Victoria used and wants to go with the same people.

“She’s getting tired of flying in and out of LA and thinks that getting a permanent base in Beverly Hills would be a good idea.”

Meanwhile, Victoria’s husband David has spoken about how much he hates being apart from his family, saying it will “kill” him to move to Italy in January.

The soccer star, who will leave his current team Los Angeles Galaxy for a six-month loan spell with AC Milan in the new year said, “The biggest thing for me is I go away and leave my family for six months.

“They come over and see me for a week every eight weeks. Anyone who knows me knows how I feel about my children, about my wife and my family and I hate being away from them. Being away from my family and my children kills me.”

Miss England, Rachel Christie, has forfeited her crown after a nightclub incident involving Miss Manchester, Sara Beverley Jones.

Christie, 21, allegedly punched Jones, 24, in the face and police were called to the nightclub around 1AM Monday. The dispute allegedly took place over a man- David McIntosh, Tornado from Sky1’s Gladiators. The BBC reports that Jones used to date him, and he is currently seeing Christie, which may have lead to the confrontation.

Organizers of the Miss England pageant released a statement about the incident:

“Due to the media attention following the allegations against her, Rachel Christie has now decided to withdraw from the Miss World competition and relinquish her Miss England crown.

“Rachel will concentrate on clearing her name and focus on training for the 2012 Olympics until this case is resolved.”

In addition to being the first black Miss England, Christie is also a heptathlete training for the 2012 Olympics. Christie is free on bail until January 2010, and police are currently seeking witnesses to the incident.

Katie Price and Peter Andre have bonded at the bedside of their sick son.

The recently-divorced couple put their differences behind them to hold vigil for seven-year-old Harvey, the glamour model’s son from a previous relationship, who was rushed to the hospital with breathing difficulties on Wednesday November 4, and pals believe their meeting could trigger the end of tensions between the pair.

Katie is quoted by Britain’s Daily Star newspaper as saying, “This has brought everything back to reality and put all the petty fighting into perspective.”

Friends of Peter also believe relations will now improve between him and his former spouse, with who he has son Junior, four, and daughter Princess Tiaamii, two.

A source said, “When it comes to his children nothing would stop him and although Harvey is not biologically his son, he is in every other way. This meeting certainly thawed the ice.”

Doctors have ruled out potentially-fatal swine flu in the youngster, but there are fears over his condition because of his other medical problems, including septo-optic dysplasia and autism and Harvey is expected to stay in hospital for at least 48 hours.

A spokesperson for Katie said, “Harvey woke up on Wednesday with a very high temperature and flu-like symptoms so he was taken to hospital, as he always would be with such symptoms because of his disabilities.

“Doctors decided to keep him in hospital overnight for observation as a precautionary measure because of his underlying health problems.

“Katie was in touch with Peter from the moment it was decided to take Harvey to hospital and Peter visited Harvey in hospital.

“Katie also informed Harvey’s biological father Dwight Yorke of the situation.”

Madonna wants to relaunch her movie career.

The ‘4 Minutes’ singer, who has starred in a string of cinematic flops, including 2002’s ‘Swept Away’ which saw her and then-husband Guy Ritchie lose half the $10 million the movie cost to make and ‘The Next Best Thing’, which failed to recoup its $24.90 million budget in 2000, is working on a script for a new film, but doesn’t plan to star in it.

She is quoted by gossip website Absolute Now as saying, “I just finished writing a script and I am trying to get funding and casting for it, believe it or not.

“It’s called ‘We’ and it’s a love story. It is two parallel love stories told from a woman’s point of view, obviously. One is a historical story that took place with the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. And the other is one I made up about a couple in New York.”

Lindsay Lohan claims her father threatened to kill her mother.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress, who is seeking a restraining order from dad Michael Lohan, is furious with him for leaking old phone calls between herself and him to the press and has hit back with some new claims.

She wrote on her Twitter page, “He’s a deadbeat dad. He’s disgusting to do this, he needs help.”

Speaking about his relationship with ex-wife Dina Lohan, Lindsay claims she didn’t leave him, despite an abusive relationship, because she was terrified he would take her life.

She said, “She blames herself for staying w/him for so long. She didn’t leave because he always threatened to kill her if she did. (sic)”

In one of the phone call tapes released by Michael, his eldest daughter can be heard sobbing, “No one cares about me . . . It’s about how they feel, not how I feel. It’s not about me. It’s never been about me, unless I fight for it.”

Although she is furious about the leaked calls, Lindsay has vowed to move on with her life and doesn’t want Michael to be a part of it.

She wrote, “that I even have to share this w/everyone, but I haven’t had a real relationship w/Michael Sr. In years . . . I just hope I can show others how to be strong through times and to be able to stand up for yourself and loved ones no matter what! (sic)”

Michael has previously claimed he is only speaking out about his daughter because he is concerned she is addicted to prescription drugs and wants her to go to rehab.

He said, “I want my daughter off prescription medication. She never needed it in her life… I’m not going to watch my daughter die. Hate me now, but you love me more later because I’m gonna turn her life around.”

Hilary Swank’s ex-husband is still her “best friend”.

The 35-year-old actress, who married actor Chad Lowe in 1997 and divorced in 2006 following a 14-year romance, remains close to her former spouse despite embarking on a new relationship with John Campisi just weeks after her split, and admits Chad will be in her heart forever.

She said, “Our marriage is really such a part of the past, it’s over now. So there’s no sense in diving back. He’ll always be one of my best friends. You know you can’t spend 14 years with someone and not carry them in your heart forever.”

Hilary has also praised her ‘Amelia’ co-star, Scottish hunk Ewan McGregor, but admits she was disappointed he didn’t have any nude scenes in the film.

She told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine, “I didn’t ever feel like hitting Ewan McGregor. Why would I? He’s an incredible talent, sings all the time and all the girls just swoon. And no he didn’t expose his penis on set. Much to the women on set’s chagrin.”

Victoria Beckham’s seven-year-old son gives her advice on her fashion range.

The singer-turned-designer, who has three sons, Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, seven, and four-year-old Cruz with soccer star husband David Beckham, says her middle child has a huge interest in fashion and loves coming to work with her.

She said, “We had dinner last night and Romeo wore a suit with a little shirt and tie. That’s what he would wear every single day, he’s so into fashion. The other boys are all about going to the beach; he’s not interested. He’s like, ‘I want to go to work with mummy,’ and he sits there going through the collection, feeling the fabrics, giving his opinion. He loves it.”

Victoria also says she now feels equal in her marriage to David since moving to America from Spain in July 2007.

She told Britain’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine, “I found Spain a little tricky. But from the minute we landed at the airport, we were equal. America is equal, it doesn’t matter whether you are a man or a woman. In Spain it’s more difficult for women.”

The Beckham family moved to the US when David signed a $250 million contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy, after playing for Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Victoria has previously admitted that she lets her children influence her decisions on what to wear.

She said, “My kids are my best style advisors because they are so honest. I remember one time I was wearing a Chanel cape and skinny jeans and I walked down the stairs to see my sons and they said, ‘Oh my God, mummy, you’re Batman!’ “
