Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Celine Dion hit five continents and 23 countries for her “Taking Chances World Tour,” and now she’s offering fans a glimpse that no backstage pass can offer. In the new movie, “Celine: Through the Eyes of the World,” she gives cameras full access at her, her family, and behind-the-scenes of her sold out global tour.

The film intercuts concert performances of Celine perform her biggest hits with footage of the star traveling through different cities with her husband, her 8-year-old son, and mother, including moving family moments and also those that show the demands of putting on her extensive worldwide tour.

“Through this special film, audiences will also see Celine as they have never seen before as she travels and interacts with her family and creative collaborators while touring extraordinary and exotic locations around the globe,” said Rory Bruer, president of Worldwide Distribution for Sony Pictures Releasing. “We believe ‘Celine: Through the Eyes of the World’ offers a unique perspective on Celine, her life, and her inspiring dedication to creating a stage experience like no other.

“This was an amazing world tour, but there’s a lot more than just concert footage on this film,” says Dion. “I let the cameras follow me everywhere. There are a lot of ups and downs, and it’s very personal…and it’s definitely the most intimate journey that I’ve ever shared with my fans.”

“Celine: Through the Eyes of the World” will hit theaters in February 2010.

Popular hipster series Flight of the Conchords is unlikely to return for a third season, stars Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement confirmed on the band’s website yesterday.

The show, featuring caricatures of Bret and Jemaine trying to “make it” as a folk-rock duo while living in downtown Manhattan and dodging the affections of their stalker Mel, ran for two seasons and produced some fantastic and catchy songs. Although Flight of the Conchords was well received (and earned two Emmy nods), the show was difficult to produce due to geographical constraints and the fantastical nature of some of the show’s content.

On the band’s website, Bret, Jemaine and co-creator James Bobin had this to say about the show’s run:

Bret, Jemaine and James (co-creator/director) said “we’ve noticed the less we say about the future of the show, the more people want to talk about it, so in an effort to reverse this trend we are today announcing that we won’t be returning for a 3rd season. We’re very proud of the two seasons we made and we like the way the show ended. We’d like to thank everyone who helped make the show and also everyone who watched it. While the characters Bret and Jemaine will no longer be around, the real Bret and Jemaine will continue to exist.

Mariah Carey thinks husband Nick Canon will be a fantastic father.

The singer can’t wait to start a family with the TV host as she knows how great he would be with any children they had.

She said, “He’d be the best dad in the whole world!”

Mariah and Nick, who wed last year following a whirlwind romance – were at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball and the ‘Hero’ star says the well-being of all children is one of her main priorities in life.

She said, “We have to take care of children. Any time I can be a part of helping out, I’m here.”

Mariah, 40, recently revealed she feels “complete” since marrying Nick.

The singer – who was previously married to record company boss Tommy Mottola – said, “People were surprised when we got married but it felt like the right thing to do and it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary for us.

“I definitely feel more complete than before. There’s a void you have when you don’t feel you’ve found the other part of who you are, so I’m in a different place now and that’s nice to experience.

“I think being able to collaborate with Nick and being in a really great place in my life is having a great impact on my music.”

Alec Baldwin was turned orange by a spray tan.

The actor underwent a tanning procedure for a scene in his new movie ‘It’s Complicated’ and wasn’t happy with the skin-glowing results.

He said, “I was a little orange? You know I’m not a spray tan guy. The character is a spray tan guy. He knew he was taking his clothes off for his woman, and he thought, ‘Why don’t I spray tan?’”

The ‘30 Rock’ star enjoyed working on the romantic comedy but now wants to get to grips with an action movie to show his versatility.

He explained, “I want to do a ‘300’ movie. I want to shoot the HGH injections and be hiking up the hill, do the whole ‘300’ thing.

“I really think I do want to do one movie to correct the image of this movie.”

Meanwhile, Alec’s younger brother Stephen Baldwin has spoken about how proud he is of his older sibling.

‘Usual suspects’ star Stephen – whose other brothers Daniel and William are also actors – said, “Listen, we’re four dumb jocks from Long Island, New York. We’re not supposed to be here. This is a lot of fun, and it’s very exciting. Alec is on a tremendous roll at this point in his career. To win two Emmys is fantastic.”

Dame Elizabeth Taylor says people should watch ‘This Is It’ if they want to get to know the real Michael Jackson.

Elizabeth, who was best friends with the ‘Bad’ singer, loved the documentary, which was pieced together from footage of the ‘King of Pop’ rehearsing for his sold-out London residency, and has urged everyone to watch it.

She said, “Michael and I shared a pure and perfect love. Usually, I don’t speak publicly about the loss of a loved one.

“But I am encouraging everyone to please, please see his mastery in ‘This Is It’. Michael’s genius will never be equaled. Tragically, we shall never see the likes of him again.”

The 77-year-old actress also revealed she has Michael’s music on her iPod, as well as British singing sensation Susan Boyle.

She added in an interview with the USA Today newspaper, “We’re just starting to load my iPod now. I ask my secretary to help me with those things. I have Andrea Bocelli, Enya, Susan Boyle and of course my loved one, Michael Jackson, on it.”

Despite constant rumors she is in ill health, Elizabeth insists she is still going strong.

She said, “I’ve outlived many who have prematurely buried me. There are so many things in the world that are more important than my health watch.”

Katie Price’s closet friends have urged her to dump Alex Reid for good.

The glamor model is believed to have reconciled with the cross-dressing cage fighter just weeks after dumping him on live TV but pals don’t believe he is a strong enough character for her.

Friend Phil Turner said, “Katie needs a man around her, she is always telling us that. But Alex is not the one for her. She needs to find someone else.

“She doesn’t care about being the bread winner, none of that matters to her. She just needs a real man to dominate her, to take control and stand up to her and look after her. She doesn’t need a doormat.”

Phil believes Katie only reconciled with Alex because she is finding life without ex-husband Peter, who she split from earlier this year, so difficult.

He added to the Daily Mirror newspaper, “Katie has really been through it this year. She loved Peter and this divorce has been so hard for her.

“Katie keeps changing her mind about Alex. She’s lonely since splitting up with Pete and I can understand that. But I wish she would find someone else.

“Katie is one of my closest friends and I will always be here for her. Ultimately, I just want her to be happy.”

Katie’s closest friend singer Michelle Heaton has previously urged her to dump Alex.

She said, “Listen, you know how we all feel. You need to get rid of him. I’ve told you.”

Kendra Wilkinson gave birth to her first child this morning, December 11.

The former Playboy Playmate welcomed Hank Baskett IV, her son with American footballer husband Hank Baskett, after undergoing a cesarean section at 12.37am at a hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The new arrival,who was two weeks premature, weighed 9lb 5oz and measured 22 inches long.

The couple issued a statement saying, “We are all healthy and incredibly happy and can’t wait to spend every moment with little Hank.”

Kendra’s ex-boyfriend Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is delighted by the news.

He said: “I send my love to Kendra, Hank and the baby on this memorable day. What a wonderful Christmas present.”

Her friends and fellow former Playmates Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt also offered their best wishes.

Holly said, “I can’t wait to meet little Hank. I am so excited for Kendra and Hank. They are going to have the best holiday ever!”

Kendra added in an email to E! Online, “This is what I call a Christmas gift that will keep on giving (and taking… lol)! I wish both of them and little Hank Jr. a lifetime of joy and happiness! The only things I wonder… Can I help plan the birthday parties and how will they top this gift next Christmas??? (sic)”

Baby factory Michelle Duggar and husband Jim Bob welcomed child number 19 far ahead of schedule this week.

Josie Brooklyn was born at 6:27 pm last night (December 10th), weighing in at a scary 1 lb, 6 oz. TMZ quoted a rep for the Duggars who confirmed the baby’s arrival:

We’re told Michelle is resting comfortably and the baby is “stable” — although she’s in the neonatal intensive-care unit at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

The rep added, “The most important thing right now is for Mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible. The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery.”

The baby’s premature birth follows Michelle Duggar’s admission over the weekend to University of Arkansas for Health Sciences in Little Rock for treatment of gallstones. People magazine reports that pain from the gallstones caused Duggar to go into very early labor, reporting Monday:

“This weekend, Michelle Duggar was admitted to an Arkansas hospital due to gallbladder issues,” says a network rep. “The pain from a gallstone was generating some contractions. Just to be safe, she was airlifted a Little Rock, Ark., hospital, so that in the unlikely event that she had to be delivered early, she would be close to a NICU center. Though there were some fears that the baby was in trouble initially, it soon was discovered to be solely the gallstone causing the discomfort. Michelle is resting comfortably, and the baby is doing fine.”

Kate Hudson is tired of being called “needy”.

The Hollywood actress, who has a five-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, gets exasperated by the constant speculation over her private life and insists she is far from demanding as a girlfriend.

Kate, who is dating baseball star Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez said, “I can’t go two months without being pregnant, engaged, or breaking up because I’m too needy, which is always the one they love.

“I’m not needy. You kind of have to laugh it off, but it can kind of screw up other things around it.”

The actress also finds it annoying that she can’t be pictured with a guy without being romantically linked to him.

Kate, 34, added to Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “If I walk out on the street with any man, I’m dating him. I’ve been dating two of my best friends from high school who are like girls to me.

“I have a child, and there are people involved, and it’s unfair to talk about somebody else, especially when you’re not in that place yet to be discussing those things.”

Rihanna wants to talk to Chris Brown again.

The ‘Russian Roulette’ singer insists she doesn’t hate her ex-boyfriend, who she is banned from having contact with under the terms of his sentence for assaulting her in February, and believes he will learn from his mistakes.

She said, “I can’t see myself never speaking to him again. There’s emotion there. I think it’s possible to change.”

The 21-year-old star also admits she is “embarrassed” that she had such strong feelings for the ‘Run It’ singer, following the brutal attack which left her covered in bruises and cuts.

She added to Glamour magazine, “It’s embarrassing that I fell in love with that person. He was my first big love and the more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for one another.”

Despite Chris’ attack on Rihanna, the couple reconciled briefly afterwards, which Rihanna has since admitted was a mistake.

When asked why they got back together briefly, she said, “Love doesn’t go away easily.”
