Okay, call me weak. Call me a comic movie fanboy. Call me a fan of Robert Downey Jr but I am so looking forward to the next installment of Iron Man. While it won’t be in theaters until May of 2010 there is a brand new trailer released today (via the great crew at FirstShowing.net) as the result of some-one solving the viral contest that had been going on.

It’s short but damn it’s sweet. Enjoy.

Roy E. Disney, nephew of Walt Disney and mouse employee for 54 years, has died of stomach cancer.

The company released a statement today announcing Disney’s death and lauding Disney as a “successful businessman, philanthropist, filmmaker, and award-winning sailor,” and commending Disney for his “key role in the revitalization of The Walt Disney Company and Disney’s animation legacy.” Roy E. Disney was the son of Walt’s brother Roy O. Disney, and reigned over the animation giant during the production of blockbusters like “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin,” and “The Lion King.” Disney also was the executive producer for the sequel to Disney classic “Fantasia.”

Current Disney CEO Bob Iger commented on Disney’s passing in the statement:

“On behalf of everyone at Disney, we are saddened by the loss of our friend and colleague Roy E. Disney. He was much more than a valued 56-year Company veteran – Roy’s true passion and focus were preserving and building upon the amazing legacy of Disney animation that was started by his father and uncle. Roy’s commitment to the art of animation was unparalleled and will always remain his personal legacy and one of his greatest contributions to Disney’s past, present and future.”

Disney is survived by wife Leslie and four children from a previous marriage, as well as sixteen grandchildren.

Zac Efron threw girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens a surprise 21st birthday party on Monday, December 14.

The actress thought she was going out for her first legal drink with her boyfriend at a Hollywood restaurant, but he had instead made plans for 100 of their friends to join them at East Restaurant and Lounge.

A guest at the party said, “When she walked in she was completely surprised!”

Revelers including Ashley Tisdale, Selena Gomez, Brittany Snow, and Corbin Bleu greeted her, and DJ Zen Freeman played a mix of hip-hop for the night.

Zac also gave a heartfelt speech wishing Vanessa a very happy birthday and encouraging guests to have a fun night.

A source said, “After she blew out the candles she made a sincere speech thanking everyone again and expressing her love for her family and friends.

“Then the DJ spun Kid Cudi’s remix of ‘Poker Face’ and Vanessa danced with her friends.”

Ashley, Vanessa’s ‘High School Musical’ co-star had previously taken to her personal Twitter page to wish Vanessa a happy birthday.

She wrote, “Its Nessa’s birthday!!! Yay! Goin shopping to get her a present. Woo hoo! (sic)”

Rachel McAdams thinks Lindsay Lohan is a natural actress.

The 31-year-old actress, who starred alongside Lindsay in 2004 movie ‘Mean Girls,’ said she was surprised by how well the then-17-year-old star took direction on board, but admitted Lindsay loved to go out all the time.

She said, “I just remember marveling about how much she knew as an actor, how much she understood.

“She did very few takes and had this naturalness to her. And beyond that, I was 26 at the time. I’d be asked, ‘Where do you go out?’ ”

Rachel, who plays the role of Irene Adler alongside Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law in Guy Ritchie’s new movie ‘Sherlock Holmes’ also said she wasn’t into the showy side of the celebrity lifestyle and is making an effort to be more eco-conscious.

She added to America’s Vogue magazine, “I don’t really desire things. I prefer to spend my money on experiences, on meals or travel. I look at the world through a green lens now, but you can’t make yourself crazy.

“That feeling of green guilt can be really inhibiting. It’s about a changing mind-set, remembering to turn off the water when you are brushing your teeth.”

Tobey Maguire is not appearing in ‘The Hobbit’.

The ‘Spiderman’ actor has dispelled rumours he has signed up to play Bilbo Baggins in the upcoming movie adaptation of the prequel to the ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy and insists he hasn’t even been asked about the role.

He said, “I have not met or spoken to the director Guillermo del Toro or the producer Peter Jackson or anybody. Nobody has given me a script or approached me about it.”

It was recently reported the 34-year-old actor’s agency had confirmed he was in preliminary talks with movie producers about starring in the project.

Another website posted an alleged interview with the star, which claimed Tobey had told them he had met with the director personally and was interested in the role.

But Tobey admits these stories left him confused.

He explained to US TV show ‘Access Hollywood,’ “Somebody actually sent me that link that said that I had a conversation with the director and it was just not true. I was wondering if maybe there was a miscommunication, I was talking about another director or something.”

‘The Hobbit’ is due to be filmed next year – at the same time Tobey is supposed to be filming superhero movie ‘Spiderman 4’.

Guy Ritchie is overjoyed to be spending Christmas Day December 25, with his children.

The ‘Sherlock Holmes’ director, who has nine-year-old son Rocco and adopted Malawian son David Banda with ‘Celebration’ singer Madonna, is going all out to make the day “traditional” and special for the youngsters after his ex-wife gave permission for them to spend the day at his home.

A source said, “Guy is really pleased, and cannot quite believe he and Madonna came to such an amicable arrangement. He is a huge fan of Christmas and wants to do everything by the book, very traditionally.”

The British filmmaker is so determined to make the day memorable, he has promised to rustle up a delicious roast turkey lunch with all the trimmings and “spoil them rotten”.

The source explained to the Daily Mirror newspaper, “This means stockings hanging from under the kids’ beds, presents under the tree and a massive turkey, Brussels sprouts, chestnuts, the works.

“When Guy and Madonna were together they didn’t really celebrate Christmas Day due to Madonna’s staunch Kabbalah beliefs. Now that he’s a single man, Guy is determined to spoil them rotten and give the youngsters a Christmas they’ll never forget.”

Madonna – who also has daughter Lourdes, 13, and four-year-old adopted daughter Mercy – and Guy announced they were to divorce in October 2008 after almost eight years of marriage.

It is not clear whether the girls will also be invited to Guy’s Christmas bash.

Guy’s attitude to Christmas is very different to when he was married to the ‘Holiday’ hitmaker.

In 2007 he revealed that the family didn’t give each other gifts.

He said at the time, “We canceled Christmas a few years ago. Stopped all the presents. And ever since we stopped the presents, we’re actually enjoying it.”

Kate Hudson was reportedly dumped by Alex Rodriguez because she was too much of an attention seeker.

The ‘How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days’ actress and the New York Yankees baseball star split earlier this month and sources claim Alex, nicknamed A-Rod, had grown tired of Kate’s behavior when she went to watch him play.

One said, “Kate wanted more camera time each and every game. She would always want to be styled before games and she’d insist on front-row seats.

“It was a turn-off to have a girlfriend who always wanted to be on camera. Alex wanted someone who was more interested in building a long-term relationship than just building their profile.”

Alex, who has two young daughters with ex-wife Cynthia, also felt smothered by mother-of-one Kate and wanted more freedom.

The source added to gossip blogger Perez Hilton, “He’s just coming off of a 13-year relationship with his ex-wife and a recent divorce. He has two lovely children with his ex-wife, and that requires a certain amount of responsibility. She gave him ultimatums that a newly divorced father can’t meet.”

However, the split was amicable and the couple remain good friends.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have reportedly split up.

The Hollywood couple, who began dating in 2007, have decided to call time on their relationship but sources insist the break-up is amicable.

One said, “There are no other people involved. The relationship just ended. It just fizzled. But they also wanted to be careful and private about it because of Reese’s kids.”

Reese – who has two children, Ava, 10, and six-year-old Deacon, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe – and Jake were rumoured to have split two weeks ago but their representatives insisted they were still very much together.

But after spending some time apart, they realized the romance was over.

The source added to E! Online, “They needed time to figure it out and they were on different coasts. When they were finally together, they talked it out and decided they’re not going to be together anymore.”

In October, it was claimed the couple had got engaged after the Oscar-winning actress was spotted flaunting a gold band on her wedding finger.

A source said, “Reese looked delighted, and she was definitely showing off the ring. She kept holding her finger up for people to see, she even flashed it around when she was getting in her car.”

Penelope Cruz loves burgers.

The slender star doesn’t follow a strict diet and indulges in her favourite fast food treats regularly – even stopping off for a calorific meal before winning the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ earlier this year.

She said, “I ate an In-N-Out burger and then I went to the red carpet. What’s so surprising about that? I do it, like, once a week or once every two weeks. It’s my little treat for myself. I love the Double-Double with fries.”

The actress also revealed she relies on her iPod to get her through working on a film.

The ‘Nine’ actress always creates a soundtrack to help connect with the character she plays in all her movies and only listens to a limited selection of songs to help keep focused on what she is doing.

She explained to Parade.com, “It helps me very much to have my iPod. It’s always with me on the set. Music is very important to me because it goes directly to your heart. I always have, like, 20 songs that I pick for the character, and that’s all I listen to while I’m making the movie. I try to stay in the zone and not let my attention be distracted.”

Shakira claims she owes her sexy figure to chocolate.

The singer sticks to a strict healthy eating and fitness regime to stay in shape but says it’s crucial to treat yourself to your favourite foods on occasions.

She said, “I think it is important that you are in balance. I really like to eat, I love chocolate and all kinds of sweets. I’m absolutely addicted to it.”

Shakira, 32, also revealed she is constantly changing as a person and if her new album ‘She Wolf’ seems to be focused on sex it’s because she is a more sexual person than she was in her 20s.

The pop beauty – who is engaged to Antonio de la Rua – added to German newspaper Bild, “I think that’s how life works: You’re changing and you’re constantly looking for an improved version of yourself. In my life there is one fixed constant – the connection between my music and soul. My performances are always an expression of how I feel. If I appear at the moment more sensual than before it is because this aspect plays a greater role in my life than a decade ago. I’m a woman and I think that this femininity is reflected in my new album.”
