Paris Hilton’s Footwear Line Sued By Shoe Company

Seattle, WA, United States (CNS) – Paris Hilton is being sued by a shoe company for allegedly stealing its heart. Seattle-based Gwyneth Shoes claims the heiress’ eponymous shoeline incorporated its patented design on her shoes.

Gwyneth Shoes, designed by Gwen Frempong-Boadu, said that Hilton’s shoes also have a heart-shaped cushion on the insole just like theirs.

It claims it filed to patent the heart pad back in 2007, months before Hilton’s Paris Hilton Footwear launched in early 2008, according to the documents filed in Seattle last week and obtained by TMZ.

Gwyneth wants all profits that Hilton earned from the alleged stolen patented idea for trademark and patent infringement.

Hilton’s shoe collection launched in February 2008 at Macy’s South Coast Plaza in Orange Country. According to her website, Hilton specifically chose the designs and materials of her shoeline, even coming up with the heart pad in question.

She said, “Each shoe has a heart shaped comfort pad sewn into the inner sole, so you can dance all night long! I also made the soles of the shoes pink so no matter how you look at them, they are super cute!”

Jay-Z’s Protein Drink for His Bodyguards

Jay-Z makes his bodyguards drink a special protein shake.

The 39-year-old rapper is keen for his six security men to be in tip top condition, and so makes them gulp a drink made from his own recipe.

A source said, “Every day Jay-Z lines up his guards, hands them a protein drink of his own concoction – fresh vegetable juices, fruits, protein powder, wheat germ, vitamin supplements – then eyeballs the tough guys until every last drop is gone.”

Jay-Z doesn’t even let up from the routine when he is on tour.

He ensures all hotel kitchens are given the recipe, and then requests seven glasses of the drink are brought to him and his companions by room service.

This is not the fist time Jay-Z’s love of drinks has been documented.

The ’99 Problems’ rapper recently admitted he used to motivate his staff at Def Jam records, where he was label president, with champagne cocktails.

He said, “I had Bellini Fridays! Basically at 4pm on Fridays we’d all have Bellinis. Alcohol can smooth everyone out. I’m not promoting drinking to young people though!”

Megan Fox Hates Watching Her Lesbian Kiss

Megan Fox hates watching her kiss with Amanda Seyfried.

The 23-year-old beauty has to lock lips with the ‘Mamma Mia!’ star in ‘Jennifer’s Body’ but isn’t comfortable seeing the smooch played back to her because it was very “awkward to film.

Bisexual Megan, who has previously claimed she feels more comfortable kissing her female co-stars rather than her male ones said, “I feel it’s so awkward and quiet, there is no score underneath it and it’s just… Could you watch yourself doing it? It’s awkward and it was really awkward to film it.

“I would say it’s easier kissing someone who you know doesn’t want to kiss you, that’s more comfortable than going into a scene with somebody that you think is anticipating it or is going to enjoy it. That’s worse in a working environment. But I knew clearly Amanda was not excited about it.”

Amanda has previously said she felt “uncomfortable” kissing Megan.

She said, “I was uncomfortable, because I normally kiss men. Even in front of people, to kiss someone for the first time, female or male, is still awkward.

“It’s also awkward when you’re being filmed doing it. And then, of course, there’s still the producers that get to watch that scene every day, and you’re like – it’s inevitable, men are going to get turned on. You know people are going to get turned on when they see this, because it’s, you know, taboo.”

Lady Gaga Loves Susan Boyle

Lady Gaga loves Susan Boyle.

The ‘Bad Romance’ singer is astonished by the success of the Scottish star,– who became a worldwide sensation after appearing on UK reality TV talent show ‘Britain’s Got Talent,’ and hopes they can collaborate on a song in the future.

She said, “I love Susan Boyle. She is my woman of the year. She has achieved more in this year than most artists will in a lifetime. This time last year nobody even knew who she was and now she is knocking the world’s most established artists off the album and singles charts.

“Our styles are different. I don’t know if we could work together, but never say never. It would be great to work with somebody of that talent.”

The 23-year-old US star said she had watched the clip of Susan, whose debut album ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ was the fastest-selling debut LP ever released by a woman, singing on the show where she surprised the judges, including music mogul Simon Cowell, with her voice a “thousand times”.

She added to The Sun newspaper, “Every time I see Simon Cowell’s face it makes me laugh out loud. He thinks he knows everything but even he wasn’t expecting that.”

The ‘Paparazzi’ hitmaker is not the only star to express an interest in performing with the ‘Wild Horses’ singer.

Rapper 50 Cent has previously said he wants to work on a track with her, while opera star Andrea Bocelli is to team up with Susan on a song for new UK TV talent show ‘Pop Star to Opera Star’.

Jude Law’s Bad Boy Image Attracts Women

Jude Law acts like a bad boy because women like it.

The 37-year-old ‘Sherlock Holmes’ star, who has been holidaying with ex-girlfriend Sienna Miller in the Caribbean over the Christmas period, insists he wouldn’t be so popular.

He told Parade magazine, “I think women like bad boys. That’s been my experience.

“At a certain age you figure out what works for you and being a good boy never worked for me. And if you’re a bad boy, they like it.”

“But, eventually, you have to grow up and relies relationships are hard work. It’s like cultivating anything. They need attention.”

Jude and Sienna have been spending a lot of time together in the last month, sparking rumors that they are back together.

The pair were engaged in 2004, but split in 2006 after allegations he had cheated on her with his children’s nanny.

However – Jude, who has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost and a daughter Sophia, three months, following a brief fling with model Samantha Burke – insists he shouldn’t be judged by his previous actions.

He said, “People seem more interested in setting someone up as this bad person, and that disheartens me a little. We all mess up, but we’re equally capable of making it better, of healing wounds. It’s just a matter of keeping your head on straight.”

Despite his attitude, the ‘Alfie’ star’s parents are said to be furious that he and Sienna are dating again.

A source said recently, “Jude’s folks are upset at the rekindling of his romance with Sienna. They have made it abundantly clear he doesn’t have their blessing.

“They believe the relationship was a roller coaster last time and they were left to pick up the pieces when they finished.”

Robbie Williams Ready to Become a Dad

Robbie Williams thinks it is “about time” he became a father.

The 35-year-old singer admits he and girlfriend Ayda Field have discussed starting a family and expect it to happen in the near future as they are ready to settle down.

He said, “That’s definitely on the agenda – little monkeys running around. It’s about time. I’ve had a good innings.”

Despite proposing to 30-year-old Ayda live on Australian radio last month, Robbie insists it was just a joke and he and the actress have no plans to marry.

He told Closer magazine, “I’ve been going out with her for nearly three years and solidly for a year and a half. But I want us to play around and have more fun and not be grown-ups yet.”

The ‘Bodies’ star is content with his relationship with Ayda and believes they would still be together even if he wasn’t famous.

He added, “She digs me and I dig her, she knows who I am and I know who she is.

“I trust her 100 per cent and there isn’t even a glimmer of worry of her only liking me for all this singing thing.

“I’m a pretty cool guy without all of that anyway!”

When asked the secret to their long relationship, Robbie says it is “the little things like cuddles and tickles” and insists they never fight.

He said, “We never fall out, we just get on and make each other laugh. We’re a good team.”

Cheryl Cole’s New Year Rest

Cheryl Cole is going to have a good rest over the festive period.

The Girls Aloud star has had a busy year after judging UK TV talent show ‘The X Factor’ and launching a successful solo career and is keen to take some time off after getting Christmas out of the way.

Cheryl, who is married to England soccer player Ashley Cole said, “I just want some time off! I want time with my family and time with my dogs, just a rest I suppose. Somewhere sunny!”

In 2010, Cheryl is planning to try and launch her solo pop career in the US.

The 26-year-old singer met with record label executives in Los Angeles earlier this year and intends to top the charts Stateside with the help of fellow ‘X Factor’ judge Simon Cowell.

A source said, “Simon is one of the biggest star-makers of his generation, and if you’ve got him in your corner, you are in very good standing.”

Rihanna also said she’d be happy for Cheryl to support her on tour in America.

Billie Joe Armstrong’s Drug Resolution

Billie Joe Armstrong has resolved to give up drugs.

The Green Day star, who was arrested by police in January 2003 for drinking and driving after being pulled over for speeding, admits he now feels too old to cope with the effects of consuming illegal substances.

The 37-year-old rocker said, “What will I never do again? Methamphetamine. I’d rather be huffing gas than sticking speed up my nose.

“I can’t do acid anymore, either. I would end up naked on top of the building, sucking my thumb and trying to find a happy place if I was ever to drop acid again.”

Despite his vow, Billie Joe insists he isn’t worried about getting older and is looking forward to turning 40 in a few years time.

He said, “I don’t mind getting older. I wouldn’t trade my future with anybody else’s.”

Amy Adams Resolves No Resolutions

Amy Adams refuses to make New Year’s resolutions.

The ‘Doubt’ actress, who is expecting her first child with fiance Darren Le Gallo, says she won’t make any promises to herself when she welcomes in 2010.

She said, “I really haven’t set any. I think what I came up with was to have no regrets because usually I set a resolution and I don’t really follow through and then I have regrets. So this year, maybe no resolution. That’s my resolution – to roll with it. I think this will be my year of just rolling with it.”

Amy also admitted she is slightly nervous about becoming a first-time mother but is looking forward to meeting her new addition.

She said, “I feel great. I’m feeling really good. Excited, nervous – but mostly excited.”

She has previously said she is “too impatient” to wait for her baby to be born before finding out whether she’s having a boy or a girl.

She said, “I’m too impatient to wait for a surprise. We’ll probably find out. I thought about waiting and I just don’t think that’s really my personality. It’s not about planning a nursery, it’s more about I just want to know. I want to be able to relate in that way. That’s what works for me, but I totally believe in whatever works for the individual.”
