The producers of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here have flatly denied allegations that Heidi Pratt (nee Montag) was denied food and drink on the set before she was admitted to hospital.

In a statement released to OK Magazine, ITV (who produce the show for NBC) said:

“ITV Studios, producers of the series, state that press reports at this time are untrue. ITV has been producing this format around the world for many years and the health of the celeb participants are of the utmost importance. A medic and a doctor are present at the location at all times for all participants. All allegations of the celebrities being deprived of food and water are completely untrue.”

In related news, Heidi’s admission to hospital has been attributed to a gastric ulcer. Notably the condition is usually caused by the taking of medicines (including aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen), or through the use of tobacco, alcohol and caffeine. Which begs the question: how can Heidi’s condition be related to the show, because if she was starved, or as another report suggests, fed only water, rice and beans, none are regarded as triggers for a gastric ulcer.

Another report claims that Spencer Pratt is claiming to sue NBC over the incident. Good luck with that.

Former Full House actor John Stamos wants the sitcom to be remade as a movie.

Stamos told the NY Daily News that “I’m working on a movie idea, but it wouldn’t be us playing us…I’m not 100% sure, but it would probably take place in the first few years” of the 1987-95 series.

Stamos wants James Franco to reprise Stamos’ role as Jesse Katsopolis. “I see Steve Carell as [Bob Saget’s character] Danny Tanner and Tracy Morgan as [Dave Coulier’s] Joey Gladstone because he’s funny,” he said.

Not mention of the Olsen twins so far though. Either way: do not want.

The Thai Rath newspaper, a Thai language newspaper published in Bangkok, ran the picture on its front page (above), and a larger version inside the paper. Although we’ve seen the larger version, we won’t be publishing it, although the front page gives some idea about the shot without breaching privacy. The image shows Carradine hanging, although does censor some of the more explicit parts of the shot.

A lawyer for Carradine’s family said that “The family is outraged about the release of these photos” and that the family sue for invasion of privacy and emotional distress if the David Carradine death photo is run in a United States publication.

Carradine’s cause of death is still unconfirmed. The body has been flown back to the United States and will be examined by a forensic pathologist for more details.
