Jeffrey Donovan, the star of the hit TV series Burn Notice was arrested Sunday July 12 after police caught him drink driving.

According to reports, Donovan came to the attention of police after Donovan had to swerve to avoid hitting the police car the officers were sitting in at the time.

TMZ reported that Donovan told the officers “Sorry, I didn’t see the red light or your stopped car” when pulled over and smelled of alcohol. After failing a sobriety test, he was taken into custody. Donovan claimed that he had only drunk three glasses of wine and Benadryl.

35-year-old singer Nick Lachey – who married Jessica Simpson in 2002 before they divorced in 2006 – has heard about his ex-wife’s recent split from Tony Romo, but has no intention of rekindling their romance.

He said: “I think it’s fun storytelling, but there’s very little truth to any of it. I certainly have heard about her break-up and I wish her the best, as I’ve always done. Aside from that, there really is nothing to say.”

Nick – who split from his long-term girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo last month – also denied rumors he and Jessica have been speaking to each other over the phone. “I haven’t talked to her in probably two years. I wish her happiness. That’s where it pretty much ends.”

The former 98 Degrees boy band member also spoke about his recent love split, insisting he knows why his relationship with Vanessa failed. He told People magazine: “I’m in a good place. I’ve learned, through years of not only being in this business, but being in relationships, that you have to take it as it goes. With every experience, you learn something about your life, and you try to take that and move on and be a better person because of it. “We’ll see what happens.”

So it’s six months since Chris Brown beat the crap out of Rihanna and since then, the wannabe rapper’s career has tanked. But the woman beater is all apologies now.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has been criticized after only leaving waiting staff $50 following a luxurious lunch with four friends at New York’s Il Cantinori restaurant last Tuesday (14 July.)

Despite the first-class service they received, the 23-year-old actor failed to reward staff appropriately after racking up a $350 bill at the Greenwich Village eatery.

Robert - who was in New York to work on his latest movie ‘Remember Me’ – and his friends arrived at the restaurant at 10pm and sipped bottles of Italian beer and Chianti red wine until they left at midnight.

A source told America’s OK! magazine: “They were the last diners to leave.”

Despite the disappointing tip, Robert – who tucked into the Caprese salad and the veal Milanese - was described as “nice and friendly” by waiting staff.

In the US, it is customary for diners to give staff at least an additional 15 per cent on top of the bill total. American waiting staff rely heavily on their tips due to the low hourly rates they usually receive.

Editors note: $50 from $350 isn’t that bad… sure it’s not 20%, but it’s better than 10%.

In a video on YouTube, Adam Yauch informed fans that he was recently diagnosed with throat cancer.

Yauch, or MCA, apologized to fans in the short clip for canceled shows and the delayed release of Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 1 (originally set to drop on September 15th.) Yauch also explained that the cancer was caught early and talked about discovering the illness and his prognosis. From Rolling Stone:

Yauch tells the camera that he began to notice he had swollen glands in his throat about two months ago, but it wasn’t until two weeks ago that he spoke to his doctor, who recommended Yauch take some tests. The results revealed that a tumor had formed in the Parotid gland, the largest of the salivary glands. “I just need to take a little time to get this in check, and then we’ll release the record and play some shows,” Yauch said in a statement following the YouTube announcement; the album was originally scheduled for a September 15th release. “It’s a pain in the neck (sorry had to say it) because I was really looking forward to playing these shows, but the doctors have made it clear that this is not the kind of thing that can be put aside to deal with later.” According to the statement, the surgery will be followed by weeks of additional treatment.

Sienna Miller – who plays femme fatal The Baroness in ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’ – suffered the embarrassing incident after getting too near to a controlled explosion.

She said: “Luckily it wasn’t my breasts, it was the bit in-between. It got a bit burnt when an explosion got a bit close.” The blonde beauty also revealed she hated wearing her character’s black leather catsuit.

She said: “I won’t be wearing one again. Squeezing myself into that with the aid of talcum powder every day for five months was more than enough. I could barely move in it anyway.”

Although Sienna is proud of the movie, she admits her acting abilities weren’t really put to the test. She added: “You know, ‘G.I. Joe’, it’s not going to be the best acting work we’ve ever done.”

Sienna recently admitted she found it hard learning to throw a punch convincingly. She said: “The guys I’m fighting are all really tall - and I’m not. I have to kick a lot of them in the head, so just learning to kick very high was a challenge. Learning fights and looking like you’re a good fighter is hard.”

31-year-old glamor model Katie Price – who split from husband Peter Andre in May – is ready for a new man in her life and has set her sights on the 49-year-old music mogul.

When asked which famous men she finds attractive, Katie – also known as Jordan – replied: “Who knows? Maybe Simon Cowell. I wouldn’t mind a bit.”

The mother-of-three also revealed she wants to bed England soccer star Frank Lampard, who she has claimed to have had a fling with in the past, as well as Real Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo.

She said: “There’s actually quite a few soccer players I’d do.

“Ronaldo… I’d probably go back to Frank Lampard, finish what I started!”

Katie – who claimed she was “devastated” when Peter called time on their marriage – insists she’s “never been happier” and has blamed the ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer’s jealously for driving them apart.

She said in an interview with Britain’s Glamour magazine: “I went on holiday alone and felt fine. But then he would ring and the stress of speaking to him would make my head go all dizzy again.

“My friends used to ask how I coped, because they could see what he was like to me.”

However, the evening started off on a sour note for Katie when she clashed with a fan at the Mayfair Hotel.

An onlooker said: “The girl came over to Jordan and Michelle’s table and said she just wanted to say happy birthday to Michelle, as it was her birthday too.

“But Jordan just snapped at her, ‘Cut the c**p. Take the photo and f**k off.’

“The poor girl looked stunned and walked back to her party, holding back the tears.”

27-year-old singer Christina Milian has confirmed she is to wed musician The-Dream, who she began dating earlier this year.

She said: “We don’t have any wedding plans made yet - but it hasn’t already happened, that I can confirm. We just want to have our closest friends and family there - it’s not going to be too big.”

The-Dream, 27, is said to have popped the question with a six-carat diamond band from Ivanka Trump’s range of jewellery.

The pair are already thinking about having children, but want to ensure they have achieved as much as possible with their careers before starting a family together.

The-Dream explained: “I love kids, and Christina loves kids probably more than I do.

“I think when you’re a female in this business, it’s kind of hard to do the natural thing that you want to do. You have to do your work - then whenever she makes that time for herself, she’ll make that time to have a baby. In the next couple of years, there’ll be something around.”

The-Dream was previously married to singer Nivea – with whom he has a four-year-old daughter Navy Talia – but she filed for divorce in 2007.
