An unidentified young man sitting front and center with the Jackson family at Michael’s Staples Center memorial is creating a stir with speculation that he may be the singer’s Norwegian “love child”

The 25-year-old man, Omer Bhatti, is reportedly seeking DNA tests to discern his parentage after both of his parents refused to confirm or deny the suspicions. British newspaper The Sun alleges Jackson disclosed to friends that Omer is indeed his biological son, resulting from a “one night stand” in the 1980s. His mother and father were employed by Jackson as a driver and a nanny respectively. Omer’s mother responded cryptically to the allegations, saying:

“He was the King of Pop. But for us he was so much more.”

His father was quoted as saying:

“Make what you like. I don’t want to discuss anything.”

Media outlets are indeed making what they like of the story, feverishly pointing out a strong resemblance between Omer Bhatti and Jackson’s youngest son, Blanket. However, the same media outlets have been alleging up until now that Jackson’s three known children are not biologically his, so make of that what you will.

Omer remained steadfast in supporting his possible-father through all his trials and tribulations, telling an interviewer in 2008:

“Loyalty is the most important thing for me. I have contact with Michael, and I think my loyalty to him is the reason we still have our contact. He is an unbelievably good human being.”

The singer disappeared during his band’s set at London’s Roundhouse venue, leaving his brother Noel and the rest of the group to play without him for half an hour.

Liam blamed “students in stupid pointy shoes,” for upsetting him, then fumed, “I hope you feel as uncomfortable as I feel,” before walking off.

Noel then told the crowd: “I think someone’s in a bad mood.”

The 42-year-old guitarist then took to the microphone and the performance continued until Liam returned later in the set.

However, the atmosphere between the two brothers was frosty for the rest of the show, with them both leering at each other from opposite sides of the stage throughout.

Liam – who has a history of volatile behaviour at concerts – has also argued with Noel during the current Oasis tour over his demands for fans to stop waving their arms mid-song.

The 36-year-old frontman also walked off stage during the band’s headlining performance at Spain’s Benicassim festival, after their set was beset with sound problems.

Writing on his blog, Noel said: “Benicassim? What a f***ing waste of time! If it wasn’t for those bloody kids it would’ve been a disaster.

“I really can’t say enough about the crowd. Unbelievable behavior! Special mention to the topless girls – what a welcome sight that was!”

Kiefer Sutherland had been charged with third degree assault after allegedly head-butting Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCollough in New York in May, but the case has been dropped.

Manhattan District Attorney (D.A.) spokeswoman Alicia Maxey Greene confirmed: “We declined to prosecute after a full investigation. And that included speaking to the complaining witness who was quite uncooperative… Therefore, the D.A. declined to prosecute.”

Kiefer, 42, has also been cleared by the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office, which was looking into the case as Kiefer was on a five-year probation – following his conviction for driving under the influence (DUI) in 2007, which saw him sentenced to 48 days in prison - at the time of the altercation.

Spokesman Frank Mateljan said: “Based on the evidence and information received from New York officials, as well as our own independent review of the evidence, we will not be seeking a violation of Sutherland’s probation.”

It was claimed Kiefer and Jack scuffled after Kiefer accused him of pushing actress Brooke Shields to the ground in nightspot SubMercer.

Kiefer later apologised for the incident, with himself and Jack releasing a joint statement in which they appeared to settle their differences.

Kiefer said: “I am sorry about what happened that night and sincerely regret that Mr. McCollough was injured.”

Jack added: “I appreciate Mr. Sutherland’s statement and wish him well.”

Jennifer Love Hewit was believed to have gotten betrothed after her ‘Ghost Whisperer’ co-star Jamie Kennedy proposed live on stage at California’s Laugh Factory last weekend, but the marriage rumours have been dismissed.

Jennifer’s representative said: “There is no truth to the report.”

Jamie, who has been dating Jennifer since earlier this year, also blasted the engagements claims - insisting he would never have proposed in such an unromantic setting.

He wrote on his Twitter blog yesterday (21.07.09): “There’s a lil rumor going round that i got down on one knee in Long beach. If i was gonna get down on one knee do u think i wud do it in the LBC???? I mean i’m down with Snoop but L Beach dosent scream Romance. I luv my girl and wen it happens you’ll be the first to know (sic).”

It had been reported comic star Jamie spontaneously got down on one knee during his performance at the Long Beach venue after an audience member begged him to propose to Jennifer last Saturday night (18.07.09).

A source said: “Jamie pulled Jennifer up to tell jokes and sing. Someone yelled out, ‘Marry her!’ and Jamie got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes even though he didn’t have a ring. They got a standing ovation.”

Jennifer, who began romancing Jamie soon after she split from fiance Ross McCall, has previously spoken about her desire to settle down with her 39-year-old lover.

The 31-year-old actress said in May: “A timeline? By this time next year, if we’re not planning something, then there’s a situation.”

The couple met on the set of ‘Ghost Whisperer’ in 2007.

Angelina Jolie reportedly walked out on Brad Pitt -The Hollywood couple – who raise six children together – allegedly had a huge row following their twins Knox and Vivienne’s first birthday party at their rented Los Angeles home last Sunday July 21.

According to sources, the 34-year-old beauty stormed out of the bash after collapsing on the floor in floods of tears and booked into a room at a luxury Beverly Hills hotel.

A source told Britain’s Grazia magazine: “Minutes after the argument, she got up, threw together a bag of clothes and ran to her car. She checked straight into a suite at the Raffles L’Ermitage hotel.”

The actress has reportedly remained at the hotel – where her late mother Marcheline Bertrand stayed until her death in 2007 – and is refusing to speak to the 45-year-old actor.

The source explained: “Angelina is refusing to take Brad’s calls – the only way he knew she was OK was because the nannies had seen her. They have been saying she’s always thrilled to see the kids, who have been visiting two at a time.”

Friends of the actress say Angelina is using her stay at the hotel to feel close to her mother, who lost her seven-year battle with ovarian cancer aged just 56.

One said: “Angelina stays in the room for hours on end. It’s as if she’s trying to feel Marcheline’s spirit. She’s lighting candles and thinking about her mother.”

Kimo Leopoldo is alive! Despite the strong reports yesterday that the UFC veteran had died (our coverage here) the ex-champ is apparently live and well..and interested to learn he has died.

“When I saw the sites, it scared me,” Leopoldo told the media. “I wondered, are they predicting the future or am I cursed?” It was neither, though it still made for a memorable day.”

It does turn out though that Kimo was sentenced to 10 days of community service and participation in a drug diversion program yesterday on drug charges and a charge of impersonating a police officer.

The interesting part of the story is that the news was said to have been broken by UFC fighter Beau Taylor. Why would Taylor detail Kimo’s death? Is this part of some sort of pre-publicity to a Kimo comeback maybe?

Megan Fox isn’t interested in becoming the next Bond girl. The 23-year-old beauty was reportedly lined up by producers to play one of the suave British spy’s conquests but she didn’t believe the part would further her career.

A source said: “Megan might be interested in a villainous role if it was a central part of the movie but she is not interested in being just your usual type of Bond girl.

“She did consider an approach but she won’t be doing James Bond while she’s
so busy with other projects. She might consider it again in a few years time.”

Earlier this year, Megan – who recently denied claims she will replace Angelina Jolie in the new ‘Tomb Raider’ movie - was linked to the role of She-Hulk.

The ‘Transformers’ star is favourite to portray the giant green female in the big screen adaptation of the popular comic book series about The Incredible Hulk’s cousin.

A source said: “‘She-Hulk’ comics are popular so it’s only natural that the
character makes the transition to the big screen. “The idea is to make She-Hulk sexier but even more savage than the Hulk, which is why Megan is the big favourite for the lead. She’ll be green of course and will have to hang on to a few more pieces of clothes than the male version when she transforms!”
