Samantha Burke, a 24 year old model from Florida has been named as the mother of Jude Law’s next child.

News of the pregnancy broke overnight when Law’s rep said that the divorce father of three had been informed by the mother of the child that she was expecteing. The statement however did not mention the mother’s name.

TMZ broke the news that the mystery women was Samantha Burke, with confirmation subsequently offered by her rep. According to her modeling bio:

I am passionate about fashion and photography, but of course I just love to be infront of the camera. I’ve been modeling locally for about 8 years now and do not want to give it up! I would love to go full-time eventually. I worked in New York City this past summer of 07′ and i’m now across the river in Jersey City . I attended acting classes at the New York Studio for Film & Television. It was a commercial and soap opera based course. I loved it! I wouldn’t mind modeling AND acting

Burke has also set up a baby registry for the child, confirming that she’s expecting a girl who she intends to name Sophia.

68-year-old music producer Phil Spector – who was jailed for 15 years to life in May for the killing of actress Lana Clarkson - was horrified to receive a note from the murderer via a guard at California’s Corcoran State Prison, where they are both serving their sentences.

Spector’s publicist Hal Lifson said: “Phil Spector has been very, very alarmed and scared at the notion of Charles Manson contacting him for any reason. He is very worried that any association be made between himself and Charles Manson.

“Phil mentioned that he used to get phone calls from John Lennon and Tina Turner and now it’s Charles Manson calling, so he said, ‘Go figure.’ It was kind of a dark humour comment.”

The spokesperson admitted the Wall of Sound pioneer is struggling to adapt
to life in prison. He added to BBC 6 Music News: “He’s doing fair, at best, if not worse than
fair. He’s not doing great. He’s in a horrible situation with virtually nothing to do all day. Phil
Spector was always a highly productive, creative person and now he’s in a 5ft by 9ft cell with no windows and maybe a half hour outside to walk around.

“It’s essentially solitary confinement. He doesn’t have computer access, he only recently got a little TV. It’s a terrible existence for a millionaire record producer who lived in mansions and most recently in a castle, a 35 room home. It’s a huge, huge change of life for Phil Spector and a devastating turn in his life.”

Earlier this week, Spector’s wife Rachelle revealed he had received the note from former cult leader Manson. She said: “A guard brought Philip a note from Manson, who said he wanted him
to come over. He said he considers Philip the greatest producer who ever lived. It was creepy. Philip didn’t respond.”

In the 1960s, Manson befriended the Beach Boys’ Dennis Wilson and the group released a reworked version of his track ‘Cease To Exist’ as ‘Never Learn Not To Love’ in 1968. He has made several records while in prison.

Jessica Simpson has outraged the Native American community by using a racial stereotype in an interview.

When asked if she would take back the expensive speedboat she bought for her now ex-boyfriend Tony Romo, Jessica reportedly told gossip website TMZ: “I’m not an Indian giver.”

The phrase refers to someone who gives a gift and then takes it back. It is said to be based on the stereotype that Native American people are untrustworthy.

But Jacqueline L. Pata, executive director of the National Congress of American Indians, has defended Jessica, claiming many people did not understand the racist meaning of the term. She said: “Most people flippantly use the comment ‘Indian giver’ without realizing its true meaning. Jessica’s comment provides us with a good chance to educate people not to stereotype Native Americans by using a comment that is both incorrect in the way most people use it, and culturally insensitive to Native people.”

Meanwhile, Jessica has reportedly been “devastated” by claims Tony was having an “emotional affair” with another woman in the months before the couple split.

Jessica reportedly introduced Tony to Natalie Smith backstage at one of her concerts in February and Tony has been accused of sending the girl “flirty texts” since. A friend of Natalie’s said: “Natalie and Tony are not officially dating, but they are having an intimate relationship.”

There has been speculation Jessica - who was dumped by Tony earlier this month - would turn to former husband Nick Lachey for support, but Nick has denied he is planning to rekindle his romance with her. Jessica’s former boyfriend John Mayer has also insisted he would “never”

Jennifer Aniston will take on the role of a 30-something woman who preys on younger men in romantic comedy ‘Pumas’.

The storyline will be based on two women who have a fondness for handsome, youthful guys but find their dating ideals challenged when they go on a French skiing vacation.

A ‘cougar’ is a slang term used to describe a predatory sexy older woman.

‘Pumas’ is not the only film Jennifer, 40, has signed up for.

The ‘Marley and Me’ beauty and her producing partners have secured the financing for upcoming film project ‘The Goree Girls’.

A source said: “Jennifer has finally signed on the dotted line to make ‘Goree Girls’ her next movie as both star and producer. She is gearing up to shoot this during the first eight weeks of 2010.”

‘Goree Girls’ is based on a true story about female inmates in a Texas prison who form the first ever all-women country act in the 1940s, and who are eventually granted pardons after becoming hugely popular.

The Oasis frontman – who had been drinking champagne in the Upper Class lounge at London’s Heathrow airport ahead of boarding the Virgin Atlantic flight last Wednesday (22 July) – and the ‘Fear’ singer spent most of their time on board drinking together, despite the best efforts of their entourage, who had warned cabin crew as they boarded to “keep those two apart”.

Liam, 36, has a history of drunken behavior on planes.

At about noon, Dr. Murray runs down the steps and screams, ‘Go get Prince!’ He’s screaming very loud. I run into the den where the kids are playing and Prince runs to Dr. Murray.

“From that point on you could feel the energy in the house change. I walked into the hall and saw the children. The daughter was crying. Paramedics ran upstairs. We were all praying, ‘Help Mr. Jackson be OK.’ Then everyone went quiet.”

The exact events leading up to Michael’s death are not yet known, however, it is widely believed he had taken the powerful anaesthetic Propofol before his passing.

Dr. Conrad Murray – who is currently being investigated for manslaughter over the death of the pop legend on June 25 – had his Las Vegas home searched by police and Drug Enforcement Administration agents on Tuesday (28.07.09).

Kai had grown close to the youngsters after being quizzed by them for the job along with their father and had been hired to prepare healthy meals for the family while Michael was in London for his 50-night ‘This Is It’ residency at London’s O2 arena.

She explained: “The first people I met were the kids. They interviewed me. They told me, ‘We are into healthy eating.’

“Prince said, ‘Daddy wants me to tell you he wants you to go to London with us.’ I said, ‘Tell your daddy that I’m pleased and honoured.’ ”

The dancer sat with Michael’s family and children in the front row of the memorial concert held at the Los Angeles Staples Center on July 7, fuelling speculation he is related to the pop icon.

Michael is believed to have told friends in 2004 he was Omer’s biological father after having a one night stand with his mother Pia in 1984.

The ‘Sherlock Holmes’ star – who already has three children, Rafferty, 12, Iris, eight, and six-year-old Rudy, with ex-wife Sadie Frost – was said to be stunned when the mystery woman phoned him to say she was pregnant following a brief fling at Christmas.

His spokesperson said: “Following a relationship last year, Jude Law has been advised by the birth mother that he is to be the father of a child due in the autumn of this year.

“He is no longer in a relationship with her but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life.

“This is an entirely private matter and no further statements will be made.”

The mother-to-be is believed to be around seven months pregnant.

Jude, 36 – who is currently single and was recently linked to Cameron Diaz – broke the news to Sadie and their children earlier this week.

A source said: “Jude’s main concern is his family so he visited Sadie at home in London this week to tell them. There are, of course, financial implications.

“But Jude is adamant these will not affect his relationship with his family. He will not shy away from his parental duties and wants to be involved as much as possible.”

After his 2003 split from Sadie, Jude began dating British actress Sienna Miller and the couple were soon engaged.

However, he cheated on her with his children’s nanny, Daisy Wright, and Sienna called off the engagement.

Ex-taxi driver Mitch Winehouse took the drastic measure of faking a heart attack because he “didn’t know which way to turn” to convince his troubled daughter to seek help for her addiction to heroin.

He told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “I just didn’t know which way to turn. I’d tried everything. I pretended I was seriously ill and even got our doctor to tell Amy that I was dying.

“Once I even started screaming and said I was having a heart attack, but it didn’t work. Amy’s not stupid and she wanted to see my medical records proving I was actually ill.”

Mitch faked the health scare last August because Amy was so tightly in the grip of addiction she wouldn’t leave her room.

He said: “She was claustrophobic, agoraphobic. Phobic of everyone and everybody. People were even throwing drugs over the fence and up to her window for her.”

Since then the ‘Back to Black’ singer has embarked upon a course of drug replacements and last November agreed to enter a clinic to help her get clean.

Mitch, 59, insists Amy has been free of drugs since last December – around the time she left her native UK for an extended break on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia - but he is now worried about her drinking.

He explained: “I think potentially she could have a drink problem, as addicts tend to replace one addiction with another.

“Her tipple of choice is Jack Daniel’s and coke and when she and her friends get together she can drink too much.

“But she tells me it’s something which she will stop – and I believe her. She did it with drugs, so she can do it with alcohol.”

He also told how 25-year-old Amy has become obsessed with exercise and shopping.

Mitch added: “She exercises for three hours a day and she’s become addicted to shopping – in particular splashing out on jewellery. She spent a small fortune on one ring, only to lose it.

“Any of these addictions could become a problem, but drinking is the one we’re keeping an eye out for.”

Zac Efron – who has been desperate to shed his clean cut image in recent months – shocked onlookers by drinking a variety of alcoholic beverages during an evening with friends at Canadian night spot Opus Bar.

A source told entertainment blog FOX411: “They were all about partying. They were downing one Bitter Cherry Salome Sour after another, until they moved on to super strong Belvedere vodka and sodas. They looked like they were really celebrating!”

The 21-year-old star and his pals insisted on toasting each other whenever one of them went to the bar and came back with another drink. Zac has previously claimed he tries to keep his partying in check as he does not want it to interfere with his career.

He has said: “There’s a time for celebration and I partake, sure. But, you know, it’s important not to let that become too big of a distraction. The more you have access to, the harder it is to remain focused. I do not want to fall victim to that, it’s too easy and too often done. It’s out of style anyway. I think the rebellious thing to do would to actually be successful.”
