Lindsay Lohan - who has faced criticism for her constant partying, substance abuse and tumultuous love life - is in talks with Britney Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph about filming her attempt to make a Hollywood comeback.

A source told FOX News: “Rudolph is helping Lohan with a potential reality show that will encapsulate her trials and tribulations as she gets back on her feet and actually becomes a working actress again.”

It was recently claimed Lindsay is experiencing financial troubles after struggling to land a major film part for some time.

Although the 23-year-old actress is keen to get her career back on track, she was spotted looking dishevelled as she dined in a New York restaurant last week.

A source said: “She looked filthy and disgusting, barely recognisable.”

This isn’t the first time Lindsay has been linked to a reality TV show recently.

Earlier this month, Lindsay was reportedly furious when her on/off girlfriend Samantha Ronson asked her to appear in her new series, which will follow her jet-setting life as a celebrity DJ.

Lindsay is said to have refused because she was worried the programme would “paint her in a bad light”.

In June, she was rumoured to be in negotiations with ‘American Idol’ host Ryan Seacrest to present a philanthropic programme.

Meanwhile, Lindsay is terrified the burglary at her Los Angeles home last weekend will ruin plans to revive her flagging career.

Intruders ransacked her house and stole her safe, which reportedly contains incriminating videos and photographs that could cause embarrassment if they are made public.

For some one who was a gay as gay can be, Michael Jackson certainly liked spawning with women, and there’s yet another so-called “love child” on the radar.

24 year old Prince Michael Malachi Jet Jackson (you can’t make names like that up) is claiming that Michael Jackson was his father, and he wants a slice of the Jackson fortune. TMZ claims that a birth certificate was submitted with the claim — “one which lists a “Michael Joseph Jackson” of Indiana as the father and Zerline LaVette Dixon as the mother.”

The yet unsubstantiated report claims that Michael Jackson’s family pressured Prince Michael Malachi Jet Jackson’s family to keep quiet about the bloodline…well, that’s before the entire estate was in play, as it is now after Michael’s death.

It’s hard to judge how likely this latest claim might be. On one hand, everyone wants a slice of Michael Jackson’s money (and there’s been a ton more coming into the estate since he died,) so the probability of it being a hoax is fairly strong. Having said that though, Jackson already has another love child….so the idea that they may be more out there isn’t beyond the realms of possibility.

Helena Bonham Carter – who has two children with her film director partner Tim Burton, Billy, five, and 20-month-old Nell – sparked rumours she is expecting again after she was spotted wearing a succession of floaty outfits.

A source said: “Helena is definitely pregnant, and is really suits her. She has a neat little bump already, and seems to be glowing.”

The 43-year-old actress was seen wearing a long, loose-fitting dress while book shopping in Malibu, where she is enjoying a family holiday.

The brunette star was also seen sporting a red swimsuit during the vacation, which did little to conceal her growing curves.

Shortly before Nell’s birth, Helena revealed she had struggled to fall pregnant a second time.

She tried fertility drugs and acupuncture, and was considering opting for IVF (in vitro fertilisation) when she discovered she was expecting.

Helena explained: “I think we probably would have tried IVF, yes. Obviously, you don’t know what you’d do unless you were actually in that situation. There was an argument for just having one child, because we thought if that’s the way it’s meant to be, so be it.”

Beyonce Knowles will accept the Woman Of The Year by Billboard magazine award at the publication’s annual Women In Music Event in New York on October 2.

She is being honoured for her accomplishments, including a sell-out world tour, chart-topping album ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’ and her humanitarian efforts which include teaming up with General Mills Hamburger Helper and Feeding America to deliver 3.5 million meals to local food banks and giving 2,500 concert tickets to disadvantaged families.

Bill Werde, Billboard’s Editorial Director, said: “Beyonce is multi-platinum artist and a multi-talented woman who clearly embodies the qualities of excellence and achievement that the Billboard Woman Of The Year Award was created to honour.

The Woman Of The Year Award is traditionally given to an artist who has inspired the music business with success, leadership and new ideas.

The Women In Music Event is held in conjunction with the magazine’s Women In Music Power Players List, which recognises top female music executives.

Former Destiny’s Child star Beyonce is the only performer to have topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart as both a solo artist and part of a group for more than 10 weeks.

Ciara and country singer Reba McIntyre have previously been named Woman Of The Year.

Megan Fox has reportedly signed on to appear in the sequel to ‘The Dark Knight’ alongside Christian Bale and Sir Michael Caine.

The movie will be directed by Christopher Nolan and is due for release in 2011.

Megan will be following in the footsteps of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry, who have both donned the iconic leather catsuit in past films.

But the casting announcement is likely to anger Angelina Jolie, who was rumoured to be in negotiations for the role.

It’s not the first role Megan – who bears a striking resemblance to the ‘Changeling’ star – has taken from Angelina.

Megan is favourite to play Lara Croft – the role that made Angelina famous - in a new ‘Tomb Raider’ film.

Angelina played the heroine in ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’ and ‘Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life’ and was nominated for a Golden Raspberry award for Worst Actress for her appearance in the original movie.

Michael Jackson’s sister is “relieved” court documents have revealed the star’s death is being treated as a homicide, weeks after she publicly declared the star – who died of cardiac arrest following a lethal injection of the anaesthetic Propofol – had been murdered by “shadowy members” of his entourage.

She said in a statement: “I am thankful to the investigators for uncovering the truth to the world. I look forward to the day that justice will be served to all the parties involved in my brother’s homicide.”

Although La Toya’s statement was brief, fans will be able to hear her full views on Michael’s passing next month.

She is set to give her first interview since his death on June 25 to US TV host Barbara Walters on the ‘20/20’ programme on September 11.

La Toya is also set to guest host popular daytime TV show ‘The View’ on September 16 and 18, which is co-hosted by Barbara.

It was revealed on Monday (24.08.09) that the Los Angeles County coroner’s report found the ‘King of Pop’ died of a cardiac arrest on June 25 caused by a cocktail of drugs - including lethal levels of Propofol - he had been given to help him sleep.

The findings were unveiled in a Houston court when a search warrant for Michael’s personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray was unsealed by officials investigating the case.

The warrant read: “The Los Angeles Chief Medical Examiner-Coroner, Dr. Sathyavagiswaran, indicated that he had reviewed the preliminary toxicology results and his preliminary assessment of Jackson’s cause of death was due to lethal levels of Propofol (Diprivan).”

The official coroner’s report remains sealed at the request of the Los Angeles Police department.

Liev Schreiber was surprised at how concerned he became over his appearance after taking on the role of a tough ex-Marine transvestite in ‘Taking Woodstock’ but admits he didn’t enjoy the experience at first.

He said: “It was exhilaratingly humiliating. But I completely became giddy in a strange way the moment I put on the dress.

“Vanity quickly set in, and I thought to myself, ‘I wish my belly was flatter. Let’s face it, I don’t look great in a dress, but it’s nice to hear I have nice legs.”

Chris Brown – who punched, choked and hit Rihanna in his rented Lamborghini in February – was formally sentenced in Los Angeles yesterday (August 25), and must clean graffiti and wash cars for 1,400 hours in Virginia.

Referring to why Chris’ sentencing was delayed earlier this month, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg said: “I delayed sentencing last time because I wanted to see what the state of Virginia was going to require from Mr. Brown. I wanted a firm plan. I wanted to see actual physical labour rather than some sort of community service.

“I have read this new one and reviewed it and I’ve also received a letter, addressed to me, from the Chief of Police of Richmond who said that he understands and will personally supervise you in performing your manual labour task, which include washing cars, cleaning and maintaining grounds, graffiti removal. He will personally supervise your work.”

Chris – who agreed a plea bargain after being charged with felony assault, meaning he would plead guilty in return for no jail time – also received five years probation and was ordered to go to domestic violence classes for a year.

He also has to pay fines totalling $5,000 and appear in court every three months starting on November 19.

Despite Rihanna’s lawyer Donald Etra previously claiming it wasn’t needed, Judge Schnegg banned Chris from getting in touch with Rihanna for five years and he must stay at least 100 yards away from her.

At an entertainment event, he must keep clear by 10 yards.

Chris pled guilty in June and was issued a stay-away order at the hearing, which stated he must remain at least 50 yards away from the ‘Umbrella’ singer at all times.

However, there have been several reports the pair have broken the order.

Appearing to refer to the rumours, Judge Schnegg said: “I’m not immune to any chatter on the airwaves. Do you understand, Mr. Brown, that any violation of this order is a violation of your probation and it comes with the possible penalty of prison?”

Chris replied he understood the terms.

Etra insisted Rihanna was happy with the terms of the order, saying: “There were no surprises today. The decision was up to the court, not Rihanna.”

He added the 21-year-old singer will be able to appeal to the court to change the terms in the future.

Meanwhile, court documents show Chris told probation officers on June 26 he was “ashamed an embarrassed” about the assault.

The papers state Chris wanted to plead guilty straight after the incident, but was stopped from doing so by his lawyer Mark Geragos.

The also say Chris was keen to have counselling before his probation, but was again stopped.

He stated he had witnessed violence as a child and wanted to ensure he didn’t “carry on that cycle”.

He also said he had apologised to Rihanna several times, but was “uncertain” what stage their relationship was at.

Music legend Paul McCartney has refuted the widely held opinion his Beatles bandmate disliked him during the band’s latter years, insisting substance abuse made John say things he didn’t mean.

McCartney said: “John was on drugs, wasn’t he? This is the trouble with history, with journalism. John said so much crap that he later said he hadn’t meant. It’s bullsitt. We were there. We all enjoyed it. I never really criticized John. I’m not that critical. It’s a question of personalities.

“John’s was more abrasive than mine and that was good for his corner of the square that made up The Beatles. If we’d had two people like that - forget it - I don’t think it would have worked.

“Whatever bad things John said about me, he would also slip his glasses down to the end of his nose and say, ‘I love you.’ That’s really what I hold on to. That’s what I believe. The rest is showing off.”

Lennon and McCartney enjoyed one of the most successful songwriting partnerships in history, but their friendship seemed to break down when the band split in 1970.

Lennon – who was assassinated in 1980 – went onto complain about McCartney’s lack of commitment to the group in a series of interviews.

But McCartney insists Lennon wasn’t as tough as people thought he was.

He told Radio Times magazine: “The image of John is seriously flawed because he was not the hard, mad man that people think he was. He was a very soft-centred guy and we had a lot more in common than people think.

“His favourite song when we were kids was ‘Little White Lies’, which was very sentimental. It was a smoochy old standard that his mum liked.”

Patrick Stump was taken into custody by Beverly Hills police officers last night (25 August) as he had a warrant for his arrest for previously driving without a license.

Patrick was released on $15,000 bail at 4.30am. No further details of the incident are yet to be released.

This is not the first time Patrick, 25, has been in trouble with the law.

Last December, he and Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz incurred the wrath of officers by giving an unplanned performance in New York.

The pair had not secured a license before playing in Washington Square Park, and police threatened to arrest them unless they secured the relevant paperwork.

A source said at the time: “After they sang the a cappella song, Pete went over to his guitar case like he was going to say, ‘Screw it,’ and just get out his guitar and start playing, but his manager, or his security, or some man in his team told him, ‘No, Pete, don’t do it - you can’t.’ ”
