DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) was found dead in a Manhattan apartment on late Friday afternoon of a suspected drug overdose.

The death follows Goldstein’s survival of a plane crash in September 2008 after the Learjet he was in caught fire, killing four people.  Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker, also survived the same crash.

DJ AM has previously battled a drug addiction and had signed on to star in an “intervention themed reality” show for MTV titled “Gone Too Far.”

Later reports suggest that Goldstein may have been depressed after breaking up with his girlfriend.

Fall Out Boy Patrick Stumpsinger was arrested in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (25.08.09) on a two-year-old warrant for driving without a valid license, and though the star admits the offence, he insists it was accidental.

He said in a statement: “All I really have to say is ignorance of the law isn’t innocence. I didn’t want to give up my Illinois driver’s license and was unaware that was a crime. It is, by the way, in the state of California. Lesson learned. I technically broke a law, so technically I deserve whatever I get. But man, is my mom gonna be p**sed.”

Patrick was released on $15,000 bail after the incident but could face a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.

Following his arrest, Patrick was mocked by his bandmate Pete Wentz, who posted on his Twitter page: “dude when I said u gotta be the bad dude in fob I didn’t mean 2 get arrested. How many peeps did u shank in jail. (sic)”

Meanwhile, John Mayer has pledged to donate $25,000 to charity after police photographs of him being arrested for the same offence as the ‘Dance Dance’ singer were unearthed.

The singer revealed his criminal past on Twitter and challenged a member of staff from gossip website TMZ to unearth his mug shots.

He posted: “I was arrested for the same offence as Patrick Stump. It’s the lamest answer to the question, ‘Why you in here?’

“If Harvey Levin at TMZ can produce my mug shot, I will donate 25k to the charity of his choice. Who else is in? Harvey is Freedom of Information Act King.”

Within 14 hours, the previously-unseen photograph of the ‘Gravity’ star from his May 2001 arrest for driving with a suspended license in Atlanta was published.

Lily Allen finds it difficult when she hears people getting excited about other women’s music as she worries it means she will be forgotten.

She explained: “I get pangs of jealousy when I hear people like radio presenters getting really excited about new music. I kind of feel like, ‘Oh, I’m just fading.’

“I don’t feel I am in competition with all the other girls. I really feel this is the year of the girl, with La Roux and Little Boots and Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine.

I find it odd when people say, ‘Can I have your autograph?’ because, why do you want my autograph? I really can’t figure it out.

“I think people expect you to have a certain sense of decorum, but I almost find it like being a nursery teacher, having to be nice to people all the time. I haven’t got a problem with that, but I think people expect you to know how to deal with s**t.”

Megan Fox insists she had no problem locking lips with her ‘Jennifer’s Body’ co-star Amanda Seyfried because she prefers same-sex romantic scenes to on screen encounters with men.

Megan said: “I feel much safer with girls, so I felt more comfortable kissing her in the movie than kissing any of the other people that I had to kiss. I think she was extremely uncomfortable. Actually, I don’t think that - I know that! She was not comfortable and there was a lot of laughing - like, giggling fits that happened in between takes.”

The 23-year-old star –who has an on/off relationship with actor Brian Austin Green – has previously confessed to being bisexual.

She said: “All humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes. I have no question in my mind about being bisexual.”

One of the biggest draws of Entourage is the vicarious glee in the adventure of Vince and his “boys.”

The underlying thread of the show is how stand up the guys are, often passing up a night with a hot chick or a coveted invite out of loyalty or solidarity to the friends they made back when they were poor and living in Queens. But former Playboy Playmate Irina Voronina claims the friendly dudes everyone loves to watch on Sunday nights actually had her cut from the show for her failure to “play nice.”

Voronina says that guys on the show expected herself and a fellow guest-star on the show to continue the party atmosphere well after cameras stopped rolling. When the women declined the advances, she says, they were told they were no longer needed on the show:

“They were very rude and unprofessional and I was fired from the set along with another girl. Technically we were told there wasn’t space for us to be in the shot anymore, but we knew we were fired because we weren’t nice to the actors. They just treated me like a piece of meat without any respect and every conversation would start and end with “what are you doing later?’”

“I decided that I was just going to be very reserved and rude and preferred never to talk to them, we wouldn’t give them the time of day or any hope of there being an after party and we did not express that we were remotely interested in hanging out with them at any point, so I guess that made them upset and bitter. If there is a shot where we’re all in the limo and the camera is rolling, it’s us all having fun, they have their hands all over us and then when the cameras stop I expect them to reel back to being normal, but they continued the partying off camera and we made that clear.”

Michael Jackson’s family is planning to spend £900 moving the sample to a secure London clinic to protect it from “unscrupulous” people who might use it to create a new heir to his fortune.

Michael – who died in June - deposited the genetic material in a Los Angeles sperm bank last year.

He was hoping it could be used to conceive his fourth child, but his family now fears “rogue elements” could use it to get their hands on Michael’s billion dollar estate.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “It might sound crazy but when it comes to Michael anything is possible. With everything that’s at stake the last thing the Jackson family need is someone using his sperm to give birth to a child and produce another potential heir to Michael’s estate.

“The family know Michael authorised a number of people to access this sperm sample. The problem is they don’t know who has access and given that a number of doctors have been implicated in his death then something sinister could easily happen.”

The Jackson family has reportedly chosen to store the sperm in the British clinic because it has “extremely strict” security.

A clinic source said: “The samples are kept behind unbreakable barriers and we have several layers of security operating around the sperm bank 24 hours a day.”

Once there, the sample will be cryogenically frozen and stored under an anonymous identity number.

Michael had three children Prince Michael I, 12, Paris, 11 and seven-year-old Prince Michael II - also known as ‘Blanket’.

His former wife Debbie Rowe is the mother of his eldest children, while Blanket’s mother is unknown.

Michael insisted he was the biological father of his children, but his dermatologist Arnold Klein claims he fathered Prince Michael I and Paris.

Klein’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan said: “There was a possibility that the two older kids could be biologically linked to Dr. Klein. And Dr. Klein was well aware.”

Klein has refused to take a DNA test to determine his biological relationship to the children.

Kaplan explained: “It would serve no helpful purpose for the children to be distracted from believing Michael Jackson is not the father in every possibility. It would be of interest to other people.

“It is not something Dr. Klein feels he is interested to establish. It would serve no purpose other than creating distraction or noise. It is not going to help the children, other than to solve the answered question, which is a selfish motive to see who the ultimate provider of the 13 chromosomes is.”

‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ actress Megan Fox loves to be involved in grueling action scenes because the excitement raises her performance to another level.

She said: “Whenever I can be physical it helps me a lot with the actual acting aspect. I prefer it. If I could just be either beating someone up or getting my a*s beaten in every scene I would love it. Sexy!”

Megan is not the only actress who adores getting physical on screen.

‘Resident Evil’ star Milla Jovovich recently revealed she gets a “thrill” out of shooting risky sequences.

She said: “I get a thrill out of doing dangerous stunts. In ‘A Perfect Getaway’ I have to steer a kayak close to sharp rocks, miles off the coast of Puerto Rico. It’s dangerous - there’s a very high tide and if my boat tips over I’ll go face-first on to the rocks.

“In ‘Resident Evil: Extinction’ I had to jump off a container, twirl with my knives and come down into the sand. It was one of the most challenging scenes I’ve ever done.”

Gwyneth Paltrow - who has five-year-old daughter Apple and three-year-old son Moses with her husband, Coldplay rocker Chris Martin - is keen to launch a line of lifestyle brands to help women juggle motherhood with business.

A source told FOX411 blog: “She has become a power multi-tasker, so she’ll take meetings while she’s sitting around her movie sets. Gwyneth wants to create an empire, but her first priority is always to her family. She is finding ways to merge the two so that other women and mothers will be able to do the same.”

Gwyneth, 36, is modelling herself on US entrepreneur Martha Stewart.

Martha was a successful TV host, author and magazine publisher before being found guilty of conspiracy, obstruction of an agency proceeding, and making false statements to federal investigators. She was sentenced to five months in prison for her crimes.

A source said: “Chris has even dubbed her meetings about her new direction as her ‘Martha Stewart meetings’. Her plan is to stay visible in the occasional film, but to create products for real women.

“She is working on new products for her own beauty line under Estee Lauder and looking at different products for moms at home that she can tie to her website, GOOP.”

Oasis sparked rumours they were set to break after they were forced to pull out of the second night of the Virgin Media V Festival when singer Liam Gallagher contracted viral laryngitis, amid rumours he and brother Noel had been involved in a bust-up.

But the ‘Live Forever’ singer’s sister-in-law insists they will continue.

Former All Saints star Natalie Appleton – the sister of Liam’s wife Nicole – said: “Oasis will die before they split up – they’re going to go on forever until they are old men.

“The rumours are absolute rubbish. Even in his sick bed Liam was vowing to get back on stage.

“We were all hoping to go down to V together but sadly it didn’t happen. The guys were so devastated. Liam watched from his sick bed.”

Snow Patrol stepped in to headline the event and were one of three acts - including Keane and MGMT - to pay tribute to the absent group by covering their hits and Natalie says the sickly singer was delighted by their efforts.

She added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Liam was so happy that Snow Patrol and Keane sang some of their songs. He thought that was brilliant.

“He really wanted to keep the spirit of the festival alive and was so impressed. That’s all everyone wanted – a good singalong.”

Earlier this week, Liam apologised to fans who were left disappointed by the group’s absence from Chelmsford’s Hylands Park.

He wrote on his Twitter page: “The voice may have disappeared but I’m still here. 1st things first V I’m gutted your gutted, I’m sorry, what can I say, f**k all at the moment.

“Secondly, respect to those bands who covered Oasis last night, even though I might of given some of you s**t in the past.(sic).”
