Hugh Hefner’s teenage girlfriends are installing stripper poles in their bedroom.

Twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon, 19, do not share sleeping quarters with the 83-year-old Playboy mogul – he stays with his number-one girlfriend, 23-year-old Crystal Harris – but are still thrilled with the space they have at the Playboy Mansion.

Karissa said, “Our room is pimp. We’ve got the round spinning bed from Chicago, a kicka*s big-screen TV and we have the perfect view of all the parties in the backyard. And we’re getting a stripper pole in there, too.”

Crystal is equally as happy with the set-up, and admits dating the magazine publisher feels like a dream come true.

She said, “I feel like I’m in a Disney castle. There’s help everywhere when you need it. It’s just so fun. Hugh is the sweetest person, and he’s the most down-to-earth person.”

“We actually have a lot in common. We were both psychology majors in school and we laugh a lot together. We watch movies together. We love relaxing and having a good time and hanging out with the girls. We just keep it fun.”

Karissa added, “We’re the wild ones and party animals, and Crystal’s really calm and mellow.”

However, Karissa admits there are some downsides to living in the plush residence.

She explained to E! Online, “We don’t like the peacocks here. They poop everywhere, and they’re loud.”

The trio began dating Hugh earlier this year, following his split from his last girlfriends Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt.

Matt Damon thought George Clooney was playing a trick on him when he gained weight. The “Informant!” actor – who raises three children with wife Luciana Bozan Barroso – was so unwilling to admit he had put on weight he convinced himself his actor pal had paid someone to alter all his clothes so they didn’t fit.

Matt explained: “I have the opposite of anorexia. I look in the mirror and I think I look great.”

“I put on some weight, not for a film just in my normal life, and suddenly none of my suits fitted.”

“I was like, ‘What’s going on?’ I took another suit out and it didn’t fit either. Honestly, what I thought was that somehow George Clooney had gotten in and paid somebody to slightly hem them.”

“My wife said to me, ‘Could it be that maybe you’ve put on some weight?’ I’m like, ‘That’s absurd! I look fantastic!’”

Matt – who put on 30lbs for his role in new movie “The Informant!” -finally realized he had been gorging on too many calorific treats when he began working out and found his clothes fitted again.

He told MTV News: “The truth was, of course, that I was a fat a*s. I can’t believe it made more sense to me that George Clooney paid somebody to hem my suits than to admit I actually didn’t fit in my suits.”

Burt Reynolds has been treated for painkiller addiction.

The 73-year-old actor sought help from rehabilitation clinic Florida’s Hanley Center in West Palm Beach after realizing he had become dependent on prescription medication, but has now left the facility.

His manager said in a statement, “After a recent back surgery, Mr. Reynolds felt like he was going through hell and after a while, realized he was a prisoner of prescription pain pills.

“He checked himself into rehab in order to regain control of his life. Mr. Reynolds hopes his story will help others in a similar situation.

“He hopes they will not try to solve the problem by themselves, but realize that sometimes it is too tough to do on their own and they should seek help, as he did.”

Burt’s manager added he was unsure when the star – who appeared in ‘Deliverance‘ and ‘Boogie Nights‘ – entered or was released from the center.

Burt admitted he was reliant on sleeping medication Halcion in the 1980s.

He used the medication after he was diagnosed with temporomandibular joint disorder, a painful condition which affected his jaw.

Vanessa Hudgens wants to be treated like an adult. The 20-year-old actress – who is dating Zac Efron – admits it’s hard to get rid of her teen idol image and is now keen to showcase her acting talents.

She said, “People think of me as the ‘High School Musical’ girl. There’s nothing wrong with that. My character was a great role model, but I get so bored doing the same thing. I want to grow like everybody else.”

Vanessa – who plays a prostitute in new movie ‘Sucker Punch’ – also spoke of her upset over nude pictures of her which were leaked on the internet.

She told Allure magazine, “It’s just really unfortunate, and to this day people hate me for it, but it’s not like I chose to put that out there in the world. It’s so aggravating and frustrating, and whenever anybody asks me, would I do nudity in a film, if I say that it’s something I’m not comfortable with, they’re like, ‘Bulls**t, you’ve already done it.’

“If anything it makes it more embarrassing, because that was a private thing. It’s screwed up that someone screwed me over like that. At least some people are learning from my mistakes.”

Charlize Theron is not “an exhibitionist”. The ‘Burning Plain’ actress – who appears naked in the first scene of the movie, and has also stripped off in ‘Monster’ and ‘The Devil’s Advocate’ – insists she only flashes flesh on film if it is integral to the storyline.

She explained,  “I’m not some exhibitionist. I think people think I just love walking around naked.”

“When you start making it about yourself, you stand in the way of doing your job. I have to sit in an editing room with the director and a bunch of execs, and if I had to sit there and think about myself and these men watching me, I think that would make me insecure. I’m just like every other girl out there. I would cringe.”

The 34-year-old actress added making ‘The Burning Plain’ – in which she stars as Sylvia, a woman who found out her mother was having an affair when she was a teenager – made her think about her own upbringing.

Charlize’s parents had a turbulent relationship, culminating in her father being shot dead by her mother after he attacked her when Charlize was 15.

She told the USA Today newspaper, “I looked at my parents and I was so judgmental, and you don’t understand the struggles of what it is to be in a marriage and be committed and raise children and to be part of a family.

“Their marriage wasn’t great. As a child, you see things very differently, and then I got older and I went, ‘Wow, that’s amazing.’ You start going out with a couple of boys, and some of them aren’t so nice. There’s a lot more that plays into this whole relationship thing than you think.”

Cold Play have agreed an out-of-court settlement with Joe Satriani following allegations the group – comprising of Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion – had copied parts of ‘If I Could Fly’ in their hit single ‘Viva La Vida’.

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Chris and the lads are relieved to get the whole situation out of the way.

“Terms of the deal mean they are forbidden to discuss the agreement they reached with Joe. It’s been a long and drawn-out process involving lots of negotiations between legal teams. The band is happy that it’s finally been resolved.”

Online legal website News.justia.com says the case was dismissed in California Central District Court on Monday (September 14) “upon stipulation”, thus suggesting the two parties reached a financial agreement out of court.

Satriani sued Coldplay in December claiming they had plagiarised his song by using “substantial, original portions” of his 2004 track.

He was demanding “all and any profits” from record sales.

The rockers’ lawyers appeared in a Los Angeles court in April where they denied the allegations on behalf of the band and stated Satriani’s song “lacked originality” and should not receive copyright protection.

A statement from the ‘Fix You’ hitmakers added: “If there are any similarities between our two pieces of music, they are entirely coincidental and just as surprising to us as to him.”

Nick Jonas was given a piano for his 17th birthday. The Jonas Brothers singer was delighted to be gifted the musical instrument as it brought back memories of writing one of the group’s songs.

Talking about the piano – which was originally located at the Ontario hotel where the band filmed their movie ‘Camp Rock’ – said, “It’s actually the piano I wrote ‘A Little Bit Longer’ on. It’s definitely got a special meaning for me. I originally wanted to get a plaque just to put on the piano when I got there saying that I wrote the song on, but the family just decided to get it for me.”

“I think I’m going to put it in our office where our management team works. It’s a nice piece of memorabilia with lots of meaning.”

Nick, who turned 17 yesterday (September 16), admits he finds special occasions overwhelming because he doesn’t like being the center of attention.

After the talk show host begged her to sing on her programme, the embarrassed actress sang a few lines of ‘I’ve Got a Crush on You’ before admitting: “I’m absolutely mortified.”

However, Ellen said: “I would put you through to the next round.”

It seems Jennifer was lucky to be praised by Ellen – head judge Simon Cowell admitted he is expecting the comedienne to replace him as the show’s meanest panellist.

When asked if he expected her to be tougher than him, Simon told X17: “Yes. I do.”

Madonna and Janet Jackson are working on a tribute to Janet’s late brother Michael Jackson after bonding over dinner after Sunday’s (September 13) MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), which saw the ‘Together Again’ star perform ‘Scream’, a track originally recorded with her sibling, and Madonna make a tearful speech about her regret at “abandoning” the pop icon before his death.

A source said: “It was a meeting of two great musical minds. Madonna was so impressed with Janet’s tribute to Michael that they started talking about how great it would be to honour him by doing something together.

“With that one performance Janet proved she’s back on top of her game. And who better to join forces with than Madonna?

“There was definitely something very interesting being planned between them.”

Speaking at the awards ceremony, which was held in New York, Madonna admitted she was only attending the bash to pay her respects to Michael.

She told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Now I’ve finally had chance to say farewell to my dear friend. I can now say I have paid my respects to Michael. That’s why I’m here. To say goodbye.

“And Janet’s performance was amazing – just the perfect tribute to her brother.”

Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary recently revealed that the ‘4 Minutes’ singer had hoped to join Michael on stage during his ‘This Is It’ London residency.

He wrote on Twitter: “A month ago, Madonna told me she wanted to do a surprise performance at one of Michael Jackson’s UK shows.”

Meanwhile, Madonna is already planning a stint in the spotlight for adopted daughter Mercy, four.

She said: “I adore Mercy, she’s such a sweet child. She’s doing so well. Hopefully when she’s older she can be in my videos like the others. She could have some moves. Who knows?”

Megan Fox has admitted turning to self-harm when she was growing up as she was so unhappy.

Asked if she had ever cut herself, Megan replied: “Yeah. But I don’t want to elaborate. I would never call myself a cutter. Girls go through different phases when they’re growing up. When they’re miserable they do different things, whether it’s an eating disorder or they dabble in cutting.

“If I did talk about it, I’d be taking on a role-model status, and I’d have to choose my words very carefully, and I’d have to make sure I reveal it in a specific way, and I don’t want to do it.”

When quizzed about whether she had ever struggled with an eating disorder, Megan said: “Not that I would talk about.”

The ‘Jennifer’s Body’ star – who is dating actor Brian Austin Green – added she still struggles with feelings of “self-loathing”, and finds it hard to comprehend how successful he has become.

Although she insists her doubts do not negatively impact on her lifestyle too much, she admits they can make her tough to be around.

She told Rolling Stone magazine: “I’m really insecure about everything. I never think I’m worthy of anything. I have a sick feeling of being mocked all the time. I have a lot of self-loathing.

“Self-loathing doesn’t keep me from being happy. But that doesn’t mean I don’t struggle. I am very vulnerable. But I can be aggressive, hurtful, domineering and selfish, too. I’m emotionally unpredictable and all over the place. I’m a control freak.”
