Jennifer Aniston keeps fit by running around a horse track

jennifer-aniston

Jennifer Aniston amazed crew on the set of the new movie, which also stars Gerard Butler, by getting up at 5am and running laps around New Jersey’s Monmouth Park racecourse, which is near where she has been shooting on location.

A source said: “She showed up every morning at 5am to run laps on the giant oval for a solid hour before cameras rolled.

“She’s really disciplined about keeping fit. She’d get there before everyone else and zip around that huge track like a winner!”

The 40-year-old actress’ main exercise is running and she prefers it to other fitness routines because it keeps her thighs and calves toned.

This is not the first time details of Jennifer’s early morning exercise schedule have been revealed.

Earlier this year, it was claimed she was getting up at 3am to ensure she still had time to work out and stick to her hectic shooting schedule for ‘The Bounty’.

A source said at the time: “Jennifer has had a totally overhaul for this film. She wants to be seriously fit, yet remain curvy.

“There are a lot of early starts on set, so she has had to get up at 3am to get two hours in the gym before getting ready for filming.”

George Clooney wants to direct Matt Damon in a new movie about the ‘War on Terror’

George Clooney

George Clooney has singled out friend Matt – whom he previously starred alongside in Middle Eastern drama ‘Syriana’ – to star in a political film he is developing about Osama Bin Laden’s former chauffer, entitled ‘Hamdan v Rumsfeld’.

He explained: “It’s about the so called ‘War On Terror’, but set in a courtroom.”

The film will follow the plight of the chauffer, who was captured in Afghanistan and shipped to notorious US detention centre Guantanamo Bay, located in Cuba.

Matt will play his lawyer, who eventually managed to take his case as far as the US Supreme Court.

George may be thinking of offering the role to Matt after he was recently heard complaining that his pal gets all the best parts in Hollywood.

Speaking at the New York premiere of his film ‘The Informant!’, Matt, 38, said: “George just wasn’t right for the part, thank God, so I got to play it.

“He gets enough good roles, he doesn’t need all the good ones, he’s got to leave some for the rest of us!”

George, 48, has roles in three films which are being screened at this week’s Toronto Film Festival: ‘Up in the Air’, ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’ and ‘The Men Who Stare at Goats’.

David Beckham says becoming a father made him less selfish

becks

David Beckham – who has three sons, Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, seven, and four-year-old Cruz with wife Victoria – admits he was self-obsessed before the birth of Brooklyn in March 1999 but now his children come before anything.

He said: “I was selfish before – everyone is. Until you have children you don’t realise how much it changes your life and how they become your main priority in terms of making sure they are OK, making sure they are happy. Me and Victoria are busy in our jobs and what we do as individuals. But there is nothing that compares to being a father. They are the most special boys in our lives and we would do anything for them.”

David, 34, recently revealed he is desperate for a daughter as he dreams of having a sister for his three boys.

He said: “I really want more kids and I hope it happens soon. I want a little girl. That would be amazing.”

Jay-Z has defended “passionate” Kanye West’s behavior at the MTV Video Music Awards

Kanye West has come under fire for storming the stage when Taylor Swift was accepting her Best Female Video prize, but his mentor Jay-Z insists the incident has been blown out of proportion.

He said: “Kanye is like my little brother he’s just a super-passionate person. Of course it was rude because it was her moment, but that’s what he believed. I think it’s been blown out of proportion, he didn’t kill anybody, no one got harmed.

“I think he’s passionate and he needs to watch that. At the end of the day, we’ll celebrate him for his passion rather than vilify him, because the thing which causes him to make great records is what also makes him step out of line. He was inappropriate, it wasn’t fair to Taylor at all. Move on. But I don’t think he should lay low.”

Jay-Z also revealed this isn’t the first time he has had to ask Kanye to keep his passion in check.

He added to Britain’s Radio 1: “ He’s very intelligent and he’s been that passionate from his first record, he used to jump on the table when we were recording the first ‘Blueprint’ album and I’d be like, ‘Yo, this is not the time for that.’

“If he had changed since his first record, it would be different but he’s always been like that.”
