Geri Halliwell, who famously quit the girl band in May 1998, says she and the other members – Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Mel C – are considering getting back together for a third time.

She said on UK TV show ‘This Morning’: “We are friends first and foremost. Obviously a career and music evolved through that friendship I think. Whatever happens afterwards is a bonus. We always talk about creative plans. Right – now, I’ll be honest: We are gathering information about a possibility, but I don’t like to… when you are evolving a plan, you don’t want to share it with the world.”

Her comments come just days after she met up for dinner with Emma and the two Mels, where it is thought they discussed the plans.

Mel B later hinted at an imminent reunion, writing on her Twitter account: “Spice girls, stadiums?????????? Had dinner with the amazing melc emma and geri I love them so much (sic).”

Victoria was not at the meeting, because she was busy launching her Spring/Summer 10 collection at New York Fashion Week.

The girl group shot to fame in 1996 with their hit single ‘Wannabe’. They sold over 65 million albums before going their separate ways in 2001.

They briefly reformed in 2007 for the hugely successful ‘Return of the Spice Girls’ tour, which saw them perform 47 concerts across the world.

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – The “Twilight” soundtrack became one of the best selling albums of this year and last, selling nearly 3 million copies. Now, Stephenie Meyer revealed the track listing for the highly-anticipated soundtrack to “New Moon” on her website.

“We are excited to finally announce all the songs that will be on the New Moon Soundtrack,” said Meyer. “All of the music is original, and exclusive to the soundtrack.” Among the exclusive cuts are Death Cab For Cutie, who contribute lead single “Meet Me on the Equinox,” The Killers’ “A White Demon Love Song,” and OK Go with “Shooting the Moon.”

The soundtrack only offers one returning act, Muse, whose “I Belong To You” from their latest album “The Resistance” gets a “New Moon Remix” for the album. Radiohead’s Thom Yorke, whose band’s “15 Steps” appeared over the end credits but not on the soundtrack, offers up “Hearing Damage.” The soundtrack also features new music from Band of Skulls, Lykke Li, Bon Iver, and Editors.

The biggest hit from the first “Twilight” soundtrack, Paramore’s “Decode,” reached top 5 on Billboard’s Rock chart. The new soundtrack hits music retailers on October 20th.

Esquire hosted a swanky party last night, with models and free flowing booze in a pricey Soho penthouse.

The occasion? Michael Moore taking down those jerks who live in excess while the rest of the country suffers under the worst recession since like, time immemorial. Was the exclusive event supposed to be an ironic nod to the themes of the film? Interesting factoid: the party was held in the Soho Mews, an overpriced downtown building wherein only 13 of 68 multi-million dollar apartments have sold.

1. Esquire sponsors the premiere of ‘Capitalism: A Love Story’. Michael Moore’s new shocking and inspirational doc about hard times in America and the evils of capitalism.
2. Following the Premiere, Esquire shuttles many of the attendees straight down to SoHo to the opening of The Esquire Apartment – a fully decadent penthouse where every square inch is paid for by a luxury sponsor. Hot tub, $120k pool table, $60k home theater, fine food. The only thing lacking was a doormat saying “Welcome To Capitalism.”

I had fun….But ooooh the irony. Everyone I talked to was like, “man, this is the most bizarre combination. I bet Michael Moore would freak out if he saw that this was happening.”….And then he showed up. And was eating it up. And then one of the families from the film came.

‘Zodiac’ actress, Chloe Sevigny was reportedly smooching with the ‘How I Met
Your Mother’ star, Jason Segel at a post Emmy Awards party on Sunday night September 20.

A source said, “At about midnight, Segel and Sevigny were kissing in a corner of the party away from the main bar area. They stopped once they realized people were watching them.

“I don’t know if the couple shared the same ride home, but they did head out of the party side-by-side, shortly after their smooching session was noticed.”

Agents for both film star Chloe, 34, and Jason, 29, have declined to comment on their possible relationship.

Previously, Jason has said he became a comic actor after a growth spurt in his childhood.

He said, “I’ve been 6ft 4in since I was 12. If you’re that size when you’re 12 years old, kids would stand around me in a circle and one would jump on my back and chant, ‘Ride the oaf! Ride the oaf!’

“Those are the moments in life where you either go two ways. You become a real jerk or you become funny. My choice was funny.”

Jennifer Aniston, the ‘Love Happens’ actress once dumped her Mormon partner because it would mean she’d have to give up drinking vodka.

However, when she was told there would be “no vodka”, Jennifer changed her mind, saying, “Leave it at that.”

The former ‘Friends’ star who is rumored to be romancing her ‘The Bounty’ co-star Gerard Butler, has also given potential suitors advice on what drink to buy her at the bar.

The 23-year-old actress locks lips with the Hollywood beauty for their new horror film ‘Jennifer’s Body’, but insists it was an awkward scene to film because she knows it will “turn on” the audience.

She said, “I was uncomfortable, because I normally kiss men. Even in front of people, to kiss someone for the first time, female or male, is still awkward.

Megan, 23, recently admitted she had no problem getting intimate with Amanda in the film, in which she because she feels “more comfortable” kissing women.

The ‘Transformers’ star, who has revealed she is bisexual said, “I feel much safer with girls, so I felt more comfortable kissing her in the movie than kissing any of the other people that I had to kiss. I think she was extremely uncomfortable.”

Patrick Swayze’s biggest regret was never becoming a father.

The ‘Dirty Dancing’ actor, who died last week after losing his battle against pancreatic cancer, was desperate to have children with wife Lisa Niemi and was devastated when she suffered a miscarriage three months into her pregnancy.

Following the miscarriage, the couple who were married for 33 years tried for another baby, but Lisa failed to get pregnant again.

Writing in his memoirs, ‘The Time Of My Life’, Patrick said, “I couldn’t wait to become a dad, to have a child with this woman I loved so dearly. And I wanted to be the best father I could be – the kind of father my dad had been to me.

“I felt completely crushed with grief. We wanted to try again, but the loss had been so devastating that we just couldn’t do it right away. We figured we had plenty more years ahead of us. Eventually, we did start trying again hoping Lisa would get pregnant. But she never did.”

Patrick was cremated last week and his ashes are being held at his lawyer’s office.

It is understood the remains will stay at the office until Lisa arranges for them to be moved. His remains are expected to be scattered at their New Mexico ranch.

David Hasselhoff, the former ‘Baywatch’ star, claims rumours he was taken to Encino Hospital by paramedics because of a heavy drinking session on Sunday September 20, are untrue and says he was taken unwell after mixing two medications.

David, 57, has been taking Antivert for a severe earache along with anti-alcohol drug Antabuse, which deters alcoholics from drinking.

His attorney Mel Goldsman said, “David was being treated for an inner ear infection and had a bad reaction to his medication over the weekend. He lost his equilibrium and it left him dizzy. This was all a misunderstanding. This was not an alcohol relapse.”

It had been reported the actor had collapsed “drunk” at his Californian home and was found by his 17-year-old daughter Hayley.

Paramedics were called and David was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

He left the medical facility on Sunday night.

The ‘Knight Rider’ star has publicly battled alcoholism for several years and has been hospitalized for alcohol poisoning five times previously.

Ryan Seacrest says new ‘American Idol’ judge Ellen DeGeneres will change the “sexual tension” on the show.

The host is very pleased the openly gay star is joining the judging panel which includes Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi, because she will bring a new dynamic to the series.

He said, “We love Ellen, she is a superstar. She will change the sexual tension. Simon and Paula had a specific sort of tension, but this will be quite different.”

Although Ryan is excited about Ellen’s arrival, judge Randy insists she has a lot to learn from himself, Simon and Kara.

He quipped, “She’ll be following my lead, I’ve told her to watch the dog.”

Ellen is taking Paula Abdul’s spot on the TV talent show, and will join the panel after the audition rounds are completed.

In the wake of Paula’s unexpected departure in August, her role was filled by a number of celebrity judges, including Shania Twain, Victoria Beckham and Mary J. Blige, for the audition stage.

Ellen who is married to actress Portia de Rossi said, “This is so exciting for me. Hopefully, I will be the people’s point of view because I’m just like everyone at home, I sit there and I watch it.

“I’m not looking at it in a critical way from the producer’s mind. I’m looking at it as a person who is going to buy the music and is going to relate to that person.”

Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall’s alleged ongoing feud is threatening the future of the second ‘Sex and the City’ movie.

The actresses, who didn’t get on when they filmed the six series of the TV show and the first movie adaptation in 2008, are said to dislike each other so much they refuse to talk to one another, leaving the rest of the cast and crew feeling uncomfortable on set.

An insider said, “While the cast is all smiles on the outside, the level of dislike is unbelievable. No one is having a good time on this shoot.”

Sarah, who plays Carrie Bradshaw, is believed to be growing increasingly stressed as she tries to combine filming with the demands of her six-year-old son James and baby twin daughters Marion and Tabitha, who were born via a surrogate in June.

The source added to Britain’s Star magazine, “The crew have taken to calling her ‘Carrie Sadshaw’. When she doesn’t have to be ‘on’ in her scenes, she looks so sad.”

The source said, “Kim has been taking every chance to snipe. You could cut the tension with a knife. Their fighting has also made Cynthia and Kristin miserable, too.”
