Jude Law’s one night stand, model Samantha Burke has delivered the actor his fourth child, a baby girl.

According to sources, Burke gave birth to a child last night (September 22) and “is doing well.” Jude Law wasn’t present at the birth, and sources claimed that “besides the financial support, he’s not involved.”

According to previous reports, the child will be named Sophia. 24 year old Burke is a model and “aspiring actress” who Law slept with while filming Sherlock Holmes,

Law has three other children, Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6, with ex-wife Sadie Frost.

The Hollywood actor will play real-life hitman Richard ‘Iceman’ Kuklinski in the movie and believes it will be his defining role, like boxing movie ‘Raging Bull’ was for Robert De Niro.

De Niro won a Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of middleweight world champion Jake Lamotta in the Martin Scorsese film.

Phil Carlo – who wrote 2006 biography ‘The Ice Man: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer’ – said: “He’s really looking forward to being the ‘Ice Man’ and I think he’ll do a great job. He’s talking about it being his ‘Raging Bull’.”

Movie producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura had held the rights to Carlo’s bestseller about the convicted murderer.

However, when the agreement expired in August Carlo refused to extend the deal because di Bonaventura wanted ‘Public Enemies’ star Channing Tatum to play the title character.

At the time, Carlo said: “I think Mickey Rourke would be really good. He’s got that sense of danger, but it’s not Channing Tatum.”

The US writer is thrilled to be working with Rourke instead.

He said: “We hit it off beautifully. We’re producing it together. We’ll shoot in the spring in New York, New Jersey and Florida.”

Kuklinski claimed to have murdered 50 vagrants before he turned 18, and then another 150 as a contract killer for several Italian-American Mafia families.

Carlo explained: “Because it was bums, the police had no idea there was a serial killer on the loose. He used to use cobblestones, but he was getting gray matter on his clothes, so he stopped.”

Kuklinski was finally arrested in 1986 and died in prison 20 years later, aged 70.

Carlo’s novel claims he was murdered by Sammy ‘The Bull’ Gravano, a Mafia member turned police informant.

Aubrey O’Day- who apparently was in a girl group called Danity Kane (which totally exists)- got het up something fierce that pictures of her doing her Peepshow thing were circulated and cast her in a less than flattering light. O’Day posted up a video today telling us this is why we can’t have nice things that she simultaneously OMG is really hurt, you guys! and is unmoved by the criticism.

Aubrey also gives Perez Hilton a bit of what for, apparently not realizing he survives on nothing but d-list celebrity outrage and chalupas. But she vows to bravely rejoin the show tomorrow, because haters to the left don’t matter. Well, tonight they do. But tomorrow, totally not!

Imagine, for a moment, that Amazon has announced the next release of their Kindle product:  the Kindle DX II (pronounced “dee-ex two”), and while it includes a long list of upgrades and improvements, the single most important development is its ability to display full-color, when necessary, via a dual-mode rendering process.

Continue the imagination process for a moment to understand what new opportunities this would bring:  digitized issues of National Geographic, full-color covers for all Kindle edition books, and comicbooks.  Wait, what?  Comicbooks!?!?

The two largest comicbook enterprises, Marvel (now owned by Disney) and DC, have been experimenting with the digital revolution for their core business, to varied levels of success – Marvel has a “digital comic” subscription, are experimenting with “motion comics”, and even provides some online for free; DC has freely available origin stories for most (all?) of its characters, and provides previews of its upcoming comics (like Blackest Night: Superman #2).

The unsaid assumption throughout all of this, however, is that printed comicbooks will never actually leave this world, because the experience is too unique, and “motion comics” are likely just a supplement or even a novelty.  Cue the digital book revolution, stage left.

As e-readers continue to evolve, their core technology will undoubtedly reach a point where they are both feature-rich and cheap enough that it is no longer possible to ignore them – much like the iPod’s entrance a decade ago.  Color display options will undoubtedly be a feature of a future release, if only for the added market possibilities and display of illustration, since color eats away at battery life, to to mention unnecessary in black-and-white printed word display.

When e-readers have a color display option, comicbooks will likely become a market that explodes with growth and helps bring the devices to a more visible position in public life – who wouldn’t want their comicbook collection available on the train commute to work, or at school during boring classes?  The Kindle’s size and design would lend itself, almost uniquely, to comicbook usage and the actions of comicbook publishers suggest they would embrace the new, untapped market with open arms.

So, Amazon, if you really want to make the Kindle the reading device of the future, you need to target those who will gladly pay to make your dreams happen:  nerds.

And nerds love comicbooks.

Khloe Kardashian’s mother thinks her last-minute wedding is “romantic.” The socialite – who plans to tie the knot with basketball star Lamar Odom this weekend after a month-long relationship – has been praised by her mother Kris Jenner for deciding to wed after a whirlwind romance.

Kris said: “I just go by what I feel. If you meet somebody, you just know.”

“You know, that’s how Bruce Jenner and I met. We met, and we were married four months later. Isn’t that romantic?”

Because they are arranging the ceremony at such short notice, Khloe, 25, doesn’t even have an engagement ring.

Kris said: “I haven’t seen an engagement ring, not around here. I’ve been looking.”

Meanwhile, the 53-year-old businesswoman-turned-TV star revealed the bride-to-be will be given away by her stepfather Bruce.

Kris – who shot to fame when her family appeared in the U.S. reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” – quipped to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show: “Bruce will give her away. He’ll send her right back down to San Diego to live with my mother!”

“It’s tough trying to keep up with the Kardashians.”

Khloe’s father Robert Kardashian – who sadly died in September 2003 – got divorced from Kris in 1989, and she married Olympian Bruce in 1991.

Khloe and Lamar, 29, are currently finalizing plans for their upcoming nuptials at music manager Irving Azoff’s Los Angeles home on Sunday.

Sarah Michelle Geller has given birth to a girl.

The 32-year-old actress and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed daughter Charlotte Grace Prinze into the world, Saturday September 19.

Sarah’s representative confirmed, “Sarah and Freddie were delighted to become parents to Charlotte on Saturday September 19. The family is over the moon.”

Sarah, who recently changed her surname to Prinze, announced she was expecting the couple’s first child in April.

Sarah and Freddie met while filming 1997 movie ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ but didn’t start dating until 2000.

They got engaged in April 2001 and tied the knot on September 1, 2002 in Mexico.

Last year, Sarah admitted she was looking forward to becoming a mother and was certain Freddie would be an excellent father.

She said, “When we do have children, my husband and I will have such a strong foundation because we’ve given our relationship time to grow.”

Amy Winehouse is alleged to have screamed and spat at a young teenager she believed was bullying her goddaughter.

The livid ‘Rehab’ star is claimed to have stormed to London’s Southgate school on Monday September 21, to confront a pupil who had been tormenting 13-year-old Dionne Bromfield.

A source said, “The altercation outside of the North London secondary school quickly turned sour when Amy began hurling abuse at the young accused bully and began spitting at her.”

Celebrity gossip blog I’m Not Obsessed added, “Amy’s tirade did not stop there, as witnesses say the 26-year-old then went on to shout at a group of Dionne’s fellow students.”

The altercation was eventually stopped by a passer-by who managed to calm Amy down. The 26-year-old singer then agreed to sign autographs before leaving the school.

The website added, “The brawl was finally broken up by a concerned bystander. After signing some autographs for waiting fans, Amy was eventually persuaded to return home, much to the relief of Dionne’s fellow students.”

Amy, who is preparing to release Dionne’s debut album on her own label Lioness Records recently spoke about her close relationship with the teenager and predicted she will enjoy a long music career.

She said, “She’s a great songwriter and guitarist but I want her to experience life so she can write more.

“Singing songs that are so personal, it’s deep. But she knows what she’s doing. To be honest, when I say Dionne’s like my sister, a lot of the time she’s like my older sister.”

Hayden Panettiere has sparked rumors that she is dating ‘Entourage’ star Kevin Connolly.

The 20-year-old actress who has previously dated her ‘Heroes’ co-star Milo Ventimiglia and British TV presenter Steve Jones, attracts attention on Sunday evening September 20 after spending the whole of the HBO Emmy Awards party holding hands and enjoying an intimate conversation with the 35-year-old actor.

A source is quoted by gossip blogger Perez Hilton saying, “They were there to hang out together and stayed for hours until well after midnight. Kevin only left Hayden’s side towards the end of the night when he wanted to chat with someone at another table.”

News of Hayden’s new romance will come as a big shock to millionaire Harry Morton, who was seen holding hands with Hayden just three weeks ago.

A source said, “He still thought he was dating her last week and told friends all about her. Harry was bragging about getting her to do anything he wants.”

Hayden previously admitted she doesn’t find men her own age attractive.

She said, “I don’t date boys my own age. I’m looking for the right guy, I always said I want four kids – I love kids. I would love to be a mother and to have a family.”

John Travolta allegedly refused medical aid for his dying son, a court heard yesterday September 22.

The Hollywood star was blackmailed for $26 million after saying he didn’t want 16-year-old Jett, who had suffered a huge seizure, driven to a local hospital from the family’s home in the Bahamas but wanted him to be flown back to the US for treatment.

Eventually a paramedic at the scene asked a senior police officer to witness the signing of a “refusal of medical attention” form.

The court in Nassau, Bahamas, heard how paramedic Tarino Lightbourne allegedly threatened to make the actor’s decision public unless Travolta handed over the huge sum of money. Travolta also has a nine-year-old daughter, Ella, with wife Kelly Preston.

Police Inspector Andrew Wells says Travolta’s alleged request to take Jett to the island’s airport instead of hospital, was the first time in 27 years that he had encountered such a request.

He told the jury he signed the form and the ambulance sped away, but on the way the plan was changed and Jett was taken to the island’s Rand Memorial hospital instead of the airport.

Tragically, Jett was pronounced dead on arrival.

Speaking about the scenes at the Travolta family home on January 2, 2009, following Jett’s fatal seizure, Wells said, “Mr. Lightbourne told me Mr. Travolta wanted his son taken to the airport instead of Rand Memorial hospital. He then asked me to witness a refusal for medical attention form that he showed me. I signed that document.”

Lightbourne and his attorney Pleasant Bridgewater are jointly accused of attempting to extort and conspiring to extort by means of threats, charges they both deny.

Travolta, who is listed as one of 14 prosecution witnesses, will testify at the trial.

Who would have thought the rapper who out-dirty-mouthed Jay-Z in the seminal 90s hit “Ain’t No *****,” later went to prison for assaulting a nail tech over her tips and who faces more jail time for throwing hair glue at a beauty store employee would end up fellating a man on a fuzzy internet sex tape? Not I, and that track has a permanent place in my iTunes top 25 ever.

Foxy Brown (born Inga Marchand in New York holla!) is the latest celebrity to fall victim to the whole bj-on-a-cameraphone trick, with a short clip making the rounds of Foxy servicing an unidentified man in a less than enthusiastic fashion. The clip is being unimaginatively tagged “Superhead” or “Foxy Brown Superhead” in what I imagine is a reference to Superbad. Wikipedia says Foxy’s got an album coming out later this year, but unlike other strategic leaks, it’s not close to the (as of yet unannounced) release date for Black Roses. And I’d imagine if Foxy was in any way behind this, she’d pick a clip that was more… flattering.
