Charlize Theron Ready For Kids

Charlize Theron is ready to have children.

The ‘Road’ actress feels fulfilled with her career achievements and is now looking forward to settling down and raising a family with her boyfriend of nine years, actor Stuart Townsend.

She said, “I feel very blessed to have had a certain amount of success and now I’m reaching the point where I would love to be a mom. I know I want to raise a big family and it’s just a question of time.

“I know I’m ready for that phase of my life and I know that Stuart is the man I want to take that step with.”

The 34-year-old South African star says she and Stuart, 37, are as much in love as they have always been and credits their “great friendship” as helping to keep their relationship together, even when work commitments force them to be apart for months at a time.

She added in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Stuart is a remarkable, warm, caring man. We’ve been able to make a great life for ourselves and that can be pretty hard in this business when you’re travelling and sometimes separated.

“What holds us together is great love, great respect and great friendship – we’re lucky in that we’ve discovered a way of enjoying our time together and being happy. Even after nine years, we’re still completely crazy about ach other.”

James Cameron, Quentin Tarantino Among DGA Award Nominees

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – The Directors Guild of America has announced the nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film. Unsurprisingly, the helmers of 2009’s top films made it to the shortlist, including James Cameron and Quentin Tarantino.

Cameron, who won the award in 1997 for “Titanic,” is nominated for his sci-fi offering “Avatar,” while Tarantino, who was previously nominated for “Pulp Fiction” in 1994, is mentioned for his WWII-themed flick “Inglourious Basterds.”

They will be competing against first time nominees Jason Reitman (“Up in the Air”), Lee Daniels (“Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire”), and Cameron’s ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow (“The Hurt Locker”).

DGA President Taylor Hackford said, “The DGA Award is especially meaningful to directors because it is decided solely by their peers – the men and women who have been in the same trenches and know exactly what goes into the crafting of a unique motion picture.”

“The five nominees for this year have each expressed an indelible vision that transported audiences to vivid vistas of cinematic art. My heartiest congratulations to all of the nominees.”

The winner will be announced at the 62nd Annual DGA Awards Dinner on January 30 at the Hyatt Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Cameron scored another feat with “Avatar.” The futuristic film – starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, and Stephen Land – has become the third highest grossing film of all time with $1.1 billion, edging the $1.07 billion spot previously held by “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.”

One of the most anticipated remakes ever, the new A-Team movie, finally has a trailer for 80s kids to judge and rip apart.

It’s fuzzy and clearly not an on-purpose leak, but what do you think- does it look totally awesome or is it going to pee all over your childhood?

Sandra Bullock’s Hollywood Holiday

Sandra Bullock is taking time off to relax.

‘The Blind Side’ star, who had a winning night at the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday, January 6, where she was named Favorite Movie Actress and her film ‘The Proposal’ was named Favorite Comedy, insists he is happy to just do nothing at the moment, despite the accolades.

Sandra who is married to motorcycle builder Jesse James said, “I don’t want to open anything and read anything right now. I’m enjoying too many other things in my life. Once you get a project, it’s a lot of time out of your life. I don’t want to leave home right now.”

The 45-year-old star doesn’t have the “slightest idea” what her next project will be and for the immediate future she just plans to focus on simpler pleasures, like enjoying “a nice cup of coffee in the morning at 6.30, watching the sun come up. I have a really blessed life.”

Pamela Anderson Single Again

Pamela Anderson has reportedly dumped her boyfriend.

The former ‘Baywatch’ star has decided to call time on her romance with surfer-and-electrician Jamie Padgett – who she has been dating since she met him at Malibu’s Cove Trailer Park, the place she was living at while her house was being renovated – but is still friends with the hunk.

Pamela, who spent most of December in the UK starring in pantomime ‘Aladdin,’ told a friend it was over between her and Jamie.

A source told RadarOnline, “Pam made it pretty clear she is no longer dating Jamie and that she was looking for a new love interest.

“She didn’t have anything bad to say about him and described him as a ‘sweet guy’ and that she hoped they would remain friends.”

It seems Pamela’s ex-husband Tommy Lee, who she famously starred in a homemade sex tape with, may also have had a hand in the break-up.

The source added, “Tommy was jealous of Jamie and Pam’s relationship and he had given their two sons Brandon and Dylan some surfing lessons.”

When Jamie was asked about his relationship with Pamela he didn’t seem to know what was going on.

He said, “Pam is a fine mother and she does some great work for animal rights through PETA. I did not go to London with her over the holidays as I was doing my own thing – it’s up to her to say if we are dating or not. I will see her when I see her.”

Lady Gaga to Duet with Boy George

Lady Gaga is to duet with Boy George.

The ‘Poker Face’ singer will perform with the ‘Karma Chameleon’ singer, who is her teenage idol, on stage at London’s O2 Arena in February.

A source said, “Gaga has always been a fan and now he’s got his life back on track it’s the perfect opportunity to do something with him.”

The ‘Bad Romance’ singer previously revealed she was bullied at school for dressing like George, who shot to fame in the 80s with his flamboyant and androgynous appearance.

She said, “I didn’t fit in at high school, I wanted to be like Boy George and I felt like a freak. So now I like to create this atmosphere for my fans where they feel like they have a freak in me to hang out with, and they don’t feel alone.”

George, real name George O’Dowd, was released from prison in May 2009 after serving four months of a 15-month sentence for assault and false imprisonment of a male escort in his London home.

He has since been attempting to turn his life around, and has been fighting his drug addiction with visits to Narcotics Anonymous.

He said, “I was like. I don’t need it. I’m fine. Id been to one in the 80s and I just thought they were all weirdos, which is a common get out clause for anyone in denial but I went to one.”

Michael Jackson’s Death Investigation Complete

The investigation into Michael Jackson’s death has been completed.

The late pop legend – who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 – was last seen alive by his personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray, who is now likely to be criminally charged with Michael’s death in the next couple of weeks.

Detectives working on Michael’s death completed their investigation last month and the case will now be formally presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney.

A source told gossip website TMZ the investigation was “exhaustive” and “extremely thorough” and there was enough evidence for a criminal case against Dr. Murray.

The case is particularly complicated because the doctor did not break any laws by administering Propofol to the ‘Thriller’ singer but he could be charged with involuntary manslaughter, relating to gross negligence.

Dr. Murray – who did not have any criminal charges brought against him immediately after Jackson’s passing – has since returned to the Armstrong Medical Clinic in Houston, Texas, where he has been treating patients.

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick Split-Up

Britney Spears has reportedly split from her boyfriend.

The ‘Toxic’ singer is said to be “distraught” after learning Jason Trawick had been flirting with two women at Los Angeles’ bar Roger Room and is now refusing to take his calls.

Ella Davis, a reveller at the bar, told the Daily Mirror newspaper, “Jason left the bar with two bottles of water – and a stunning blonde who looked like Britney.

“He had his arms around her and they looked very much like they were together for the night.”

Friends of Jason, who has proposed to Britney a number of times, have defended him, insisting his behavior is out of character.

A source added, “Jason’s a great guy and super loyal. This behavior is really out of character. But Los Angeles is a small town and word soon got back to Britney he’d had a wild one.

“When she heard he’d been caught cosying up two girls in The Roger Room, it was the last straw. Jason’s really not like this and quickly tried to calm Britney down and rectify the situation. He explained the girls were just friends and there was nothing in it but they still had a massive row.

“Everyone is assuming it’s over – for the time being anyway.”

After the argument Britney called her mother who has flown in from Louisiana to comfort her.

Britney, who has two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, and agent Jason started dating last March. They split briefly in August, but soon reconciled.

Sharon Stone’s Hamburger Obsession

Sharon Stone is “obsessed” with hamburgers.

The ‘Basic Instinct’ actress says she struggles to put on weight and has to fight hard to maintain her size six/eight frame.

She said, “I have to watch not getting too skinny. I’m a mover. I’m not one of those people who can survive on salad. I love a big steak dinner and I’m obsessed with finding the perfect hamburger.

“They do one at the Tower Bar here in Los Angeles which come son an English muffin with arugula and brie, and they serve it with French fries and truffle oil. That really sends me.”

As well as eating a lot so as not to get too thin, the 51-year-old star, who has adopted children Roan, nine, Laird, four, and Quinn, three, makes sure she exercises regularly to stay in shape.

She added to Tatler magazine, “I do pilates. I bike, I canoe, I walk. I try to take the stairs more than the elevator and I chase my children.”

Sharon is not the only star to confess to a love of the calorific food.

‘Nine’ actress Penelope Cruz recently reveals she eats fast food every week and even stopped off for a snack before winning the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ last year.

She said, “I ate an In-N-Out burger and then I went to the red carpet. What’s so surprising about that? I do it, like, once a week or once every two weeks. It’s my little treat for myself. I love the Double-Double with fries.”

During her second pregnancy, Nicole Richie – who has 23-month-old daughter Harlow and son Sparrow, three months, with Good Charlotte star Joel Madden – regularly made the rocker make late night trips to buy burgers for her.

Catherine Zeta-Jones Doesn’t Fancy Young Men

Catherine Zeta-Jones doesn’t find young men attractive.

The 40-year-old actress, who is married to 65-year-old actor Michael Douglas, says she could never date someone who is younger than her because they are so “selfish”.

She said, “I know that young men are more unbiased, playful and firmer. There’s no question about that. But they are also more selfish and narcissistic. This is why they never had a chance to go out with me.

“I need a man who is sensitive and caring. Someone who is superior to me and I can lean on. But that doesn’t mean not that I fancy old and fat men.”

The mother-of-two, who married ‘Fatal Attraction’ star Michael in 2000, believes the Oscar-winning actor is her ideal man and has never worried about the 25-year age gap between them.

She told German magazine InTouch, “He knows exactly what he wants and what life is about. That impresses me. But Michael can also be a real softy. He sends me flowers and cries when his kids say something particularly pathetic.

“We didn’t care about the age gap from the beginning on. We relied more on our emotions and feelings. It was like that and it should always be like that.”
