Body of Andrew Koenig found in Vancouver

It seems initial reports that Andrew Koenig may have been “lying low” in Vancouver were inaccurate.

Vancouver police have found a body they believe to be that of the missing actor, CNN is confirming. The body was found in a Vancouver park, and a press conference has been scheduled for 5:00pm Pacific time. Koenig’s parents are expected to be in attendance.

We will update as more information becomes available.

Lady Gaga’s Hidden Crisis

Lady Gaga paid for three hotel suites because she was having an “identity crisis”.

The ‘Paparazzi’ singer insisted on extreme secrecy when she checked into Liverpool’s Hope Street Hotel, where she stayed while performing at the English city’s Liverpool Echo Arena earlier this week, and even hired decoy transport to ensure no one saw her.

A source said, “Lady Gaga loves drama, instead of hiring bedrooms at one of the city’s five star hotels she decided to hire suites at three of Liverpool’s most expensive.

“She demanded to be driven through the secret back entrance of her hotel away from snooping eyes.

“Later she sent a fleet of silver Mercedes to the hotel entrance and to a nearby restaurant as a decoy to fool fans and paparazzi.

“Meanwhile, she stayed holed up in her suite enjoying tea and toast.”

A hotel source added to the Daily Star newspaper, “Lady Gaga didn’t want to be seen by anyone as she was having an identity crisis. She said she wasn’t looking or feeling like Gaga.”

As well as her own luxury suite, the eccentric singer also booked rooms at the city’s Malmaison and Radisson hotels, ensuring all of her staff got to spend the night in luxury surroundings.

The source added, “She told staff, ‘Only the best will do.’ She booked the largest suites in the city.

“One of her flashy suites included a four-poster king-size bed with views of the River Mersey, a huge wooden bath in the living room, a 42in plasma TV and a double walk-in monsoon shower.”

Aussie fans reportedly walk out of Whitney Houston concert

Whitney Houston is perhaps better known now for her reality show with ex Bobby Brown and drug problems than her vocal talents.

Still, fans in Brisbane, Australia lined up to see the fading songstress Monday night, until she started sucking. Then they wanted a refund:

One woman commented that Houston “can’t sing, couldn’t perform and was the worst act we’ve ever seen”, sentiments echoed by many others. “She couldn’t entertain a dead rat,” was another comment.

Even her tour manager conceded that Houston’s performance didn’t exactly meet what’s expected of the singer, but stopped short of an apology:

“[She] is now up on stage, warts and all, presenting herself like an open book for the world to see and they want to ridicule Whitney. If they expected to hear the Whitney of 20 years ago, go buy a CD. If they want to see a true professional artist give 100%, well come along and enjoy the ride of an amazing talent, on stage, letting her heart and soul out for us all to enjoy.”

A performance on Wednesday in Sydney didn’t go over well, either. Fans report that while the first 50 minutes were okay, the set “broke down” after a thirteen minute break in the show:

One fan, Shane Norquay, tells the paper, “Some of it’s been beautiful and some it is just horrible. It feels like she’s trying to be herself but it’s not working.”

Bernadette Latta, whose son bought her the tickets as a Christmas gift, adds, “It’s terrible. I have never walked out before a concert finished but that was just terrible. I’ll be suggesting my son tries to get a refund.”

Ouch. It looks like the only showbiz project in Houston’s future might be a stint on Celebrity Rehab.

John Mayer Played Guitar With 11-Year-Old Fan

John Mayer played guitar with an 11-year-old fan on Sunday, February 21.

The 32-year-old singer, who is famous for his celebrity ex-girlfriends including Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson, showed a generous side at the concert in Philadelphia when he spotted the youngster in the crowd clutching a sign reading, “Can I please play ‘Belief’ with you?”

John pulled 11-year-old Austin out of the audience and performed the song with him to a rapturous round of applause.

John told the crowd at the end, “That’s my man!”, before giving Austin one of his guitars.

Austin’s mother wrote a note to John’s management team, which read, “John made an 11-year-old’s dream come true. John gave him the guitar after the show and we needed security to get out of the stadium.

“Everyone wanted a picture with him. If you get a chance watch some of the videos on You Tube, it is touching. As John said, ‘The kid pulled through.’ I just wanted to thank JM for pulling through for Austin.”

John also agreed that the Philadelphia show was one of his best, taking to twitter the day after to say, “8 out of 8 band members agree, Philly is always an awesome show. XO J (sic)”

Video: ‘We Are The World’ remake, unknowns vs. celebs

Despite the huge number of relief efforts for Haiti after January’s earthquake, not many people were impressed by the effort to remake 80s charity tune “We Are The World.”

Now, fifty-seven unknowns have covered it and the video is going viral. Which version do you prefer- the mass produced, celebrity powered one or a bunch of YouTubers singing their hearts out in their kitchens and in front of their unmade beds? (If you hover over the lower, right hand corner of the video, the names of the singers display as it fades in and out for each.)

Charlie Sheen’s daughter thinks him going to rehab is a “positive thing”.

Cassandra Jade Estevez, 25, whose mother is Charlie’s high school girlfriend Paula Speert, admits she is glad her 44-year-old father has sought help for his alleged cocaine and alcohol problems.

She told website Radar Online, “I really don’t want to comment too much but it is a positive thing and he is just trying to do the right thing.”

The ‘Two and a Half Men’ star is close to Cassandra and has four other children from his two marriages to Brooke Mueller, who is currently in rehab, and Denise Richards.

Miley Cyrus Won’t Take Boyfriend to the Oscars

Miley Cyrus won’t be taking her boyfriend to the Academy Awards.

The ‘Hannah Montana’ actress, who is set to present an award at the forthcoming Oscars, is reportedly worried her appearance at the prestigious ceremony will be overshadowed if she is accompanied by Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.

A source revealed, “Liam’s a pretty low-key guy anyway, he doesn’t mind not going.”

However, Miley won’t be walking down the red carpet alone at Los Angeles’ Kodak Theatre on March 7.

Her representative said, “She’s taking her mom, Tish.”

Miley and Liam have never officially confirmed their romance, though the 17-year-old ‘Hannah Montana’ star has previously admitted her closeness to the 19-year-old actor has helped boost her confidence.

She said, “We’ve decided that any type of relationship that we have, we will always just keep it very down low. First and foremost, we are best friends, so that’s what I tell people all the time

“All you want is for one person to say, ‘You did a really good job today.’ Or, ‘You look really beautiful,’ or, ‘I was really moved by that.’ You just want one person to make you feel good about something you’re doing.”

Bruce Willis Ruled by Daughters

Bruce Willis would do anything for his daughters.

The 54-year-old actor – who stars as a policeman struggling to pay for his daughter’s lavish wedding in ‘Cop Out’ – is looking forward to his own children, Rumer, 21, Scout, 18, and 16-year-old Tallulah Belle, walking down the aisle and will stop at nothing to make their big days special.

He said, “The one thing I didn’t have to do any research on is what I would do for one of my daughters if she wanted something badly. That part came pretty easy. In real life, my daughters really rule my emotions, and I would do anything for them. I’m not worrying about their weddings yet. I have a little time. But when it happens it happens. Marriage is just one more rite of passage.”

Bruce, who had his three children with ex-wife Demi Moore, also revealed he has never been happier since tying the knot with Emma Heming last March.

He added to Parade.com, “I got re-married again last year to a really wonderful woman. That makes me happy all the time. This is the happiest time in my life. It just really is. I’ve never been happier than I am right now.”

Cheryl Cole Erases Ashley Tattoo

Cheryl Cole is erasing husband Ashley Cole from her life – by having her tattoo tribute to him removed.

The ‘Parachute’ singer wants the piece of body art which reads ‘Mrs C’ removed from the back of her neck and has started taking down all pictures of the couple together from their Surrey home.

Cheryl is also said to be making inquiries about getting a fast track divorce, following allegations Ashley slept with five women behind her back, and will reportedly not seek any of the England soccer player’s £14 million fortune.

A source told The Sun newspaper, “Cheryl has not yet appointed a divorce lawyer but she is going through names and setting up meetings.

“She will not be fighting for a huge settlement. She just wants to get out fast so she can press on with life and move on.”

Meanwhile, Ashley reportedly left a note in the couple’s marital home trying to justify his actions, blaming his behavior on Cheryl’s heavy workload.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper, “Cheryl is hurt and confused. One minute Ashley is grovelling and apologizing for his betrayals and the next he is blaming her successful career for the split.

“Cheryl has been told Ashley strayed because he felt so alone in their marriage. Whilst she was off working he was either at home alone, or in a hotel room playing video games while away with Chelsea.”

Cheryl, who is a member of Girls Aloud, is a judge on UK TV talent show ‘The X Factor’ and recently launched a successful solo pop career, publicly announced she was splitting from Ashley, 29, on Tuesday, February 23, via twitter.

The 26-year-old beauty arrived back in the UK from Los Angeles on Tuesday and stayed at the couple’s martial home, insisting she wanted to be alone

However, yesterday (24.02.10) she was comforted by her first visitors – Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.

A source said: “Cheryl values their friendship and wanted to see them for a heart-to-heart. Cheryl just wanted a girl’s night with people she trusts.”

Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey Might Wed for ‘Tax Purposes’

Jenny McCarthy might marry Jim Carrey for “tax purposes”.

The former Playboy model, who has been dating the 48-year-old comic actor for five years, has apparently changed her mind about refusing to wed and has admitted she is tempted to tie the knot to save money.

She said, “We say ‘never,’ but I don’t know. Maybe for tax purposes, someday, when we are old.”

Even if the ceremony does go ahead, the 37-year-old actress can’t see it happening for at least 30 more years because they’re very settled in their relationship.

She explained, “That’s what we keep joking – like, when we are 70! But for now, we’re fine. We are really fine!”

For now, the blonde beauty is happy being a mother to her seven-year-old son Evan, from a previous relationship, and can’t wait to be an “awesome grandma” when Jim’s daughter Jane gives birth in the next few weeks.

She added to UsMagazine.com, “I love it! I love, love, love it. I think I’m going to be the awesome grandma, the world’s best, is what I say.”
