Stephen Moyer’s Ridiculous Romance

Stephen Moyer initially thought his relationship with Anna Paquin was “ridiculous”.

The showbiz couple, who met on the set of vampire drama ‘True Blood’, were concerned about the impact their romance would have on working together but are relieved it has caused no problems so far.

Stephen, 40, said, “It’s quite fun when it’s not rolling. It is so lovely. I’ve got nothing bad to say about it. “Certainly, to begin with when we got together, we were really concerned that it’s ridiculous to get into a relationship when there’s a possible seven years of working together, but it’s been nothing but lovely, so I hope it carries on as thus.”

However, the British star admits he is occasionally embarrassed on the set of the US TV series because all of the people working on the show have witnessed his relationship from the beginning.

He said, “Because the crew, the cameramen, the actors and everyone grew up watching us, they’ve seen every single move I’ve ever made on her.”

As well as being a couple off-screen, Anna, who plays telepathic Sookie Stackhouse in the show and Stephen, who plays vampire Bill Compton, are also a couple on-screen.

Corey Haim to be Buried in Canada

Corey Haim will be buried in his native Canada.

The ‘Lost Boys’ star died aged 38 at the Los Angeles home he shared with his mother on Wednesday, March 10, and his family want his final resting place to be in Toronto, Ontario, where he was born.

His manager Marc Haislip told Us Weekly magazine, “His family want to do it back home but there will be a memorial in Los Angeles.”

It had been alleged the 80s heartthrob died of a prescription drugs overdose but his mother Judy insists the cause of death was pulmonary congestion.

A post-mortem examination on his body was completed last night, March 11, and Judy was told by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office that her son had an enlarged heart and fluid in his lungs at the time of his death.

The coroner has yet to confirm whether tests revealed the presence of any of the medication found in four bottles in the actor’s room, which included valium, vicodin and muscle relaxant soma.

Judy, who is battling cancer, is said to be struggling to cope with her son’s death.

Marc added, “She’s not doing well at all. This is really hitting her.”

Corey moved in with his mother to help care for her during her illness.

She told US TV show ‘Access Hollywood,’ “I am a cancer victim and Corey was helping me at home. He was a good boy. I’m devastated by his death.”

Corey shot to fame in the 80s after appearing in a string of popular movies, including ‘The Lost Boys’, which also starred Kiefer Sutherland.

Corey had made no secret of his battles with drug abuse and in 2000 he confessed to taking large quantities of the sedative valium every day.

But it appeared to be a battle he had won and in 2004 he claimed he had overcome his substance abuse problems, saying, “I’m clean, sober, humble and happy.”

Hilary Duff Wants Small Wedding

Hilary Duff wants a “small” wedding.

The singer-and-actress, who got engaged to hockey player Mike Comrie last month, has already started planning her nuptials and is in complete control of all the preparations.

Hilary, who has been dating Mike for two years said, “We want to keep it small. Mike’s like, ‘Whatever you want!’”

The star says she is planning a “traditional” ceremony and is looking forward to choosing her dress, though she fears looking like “a big cupcake”.

She explained: “I want it to be traditional. I don’t want it to be too big and overwhelming, because I’m so small. A big dress would make me look like a big cupcake!”

Mike proposed to Hilary during a romantic break in Hawaii with a $1 million 12 carat diamond ring and although the 23-year-old star was delighted by the surprise, she was disappointed when paparazzi photographs of their trip appeared on the internet.

Hilary, who was snapped photographing her engagement ring on her mobile phone told website Hollywood Life, “It was awful. We had no idea they were there; it was weird.

“I hated that. I was taking a picture of my ring and sending it to my mom!”

Hilary’s sister Haylie Duff recently revealed the 29-year-old sportsman’s proposal came as a complete shock to her sibling.

She said, “She was completely surprised. I don’t think that happens all the time. I think most of the time people figure it out or have some idea that it’s going to happen, and I think it’s great he was able to do a surprise like that for her.”

Although exact details of the proposal remain secret, the 29-year-old sportsman’s gesture was “very romantic”.

Haylie added, “I adore him. He’s wonderful… very romantic.”

Cheryl Cole Ill With Bronchitis

Cheryl Cole has fallen ill with bronchitis.

The ‘Parachute’ singer, who has had a turbulent few weeks after dumping husband Ashley Cole following revelations he cheated on her with several women, has been forced to cancel two public appearances as she battles the lung infection.

Cheryl was due to film an interview on British talk show ‘Friday Night with Jonathan Ross’ last night, March 11, to be aired tonight, March 12, and was scheduled to perform live on UK station Radio One today.

The 26-year-old pop star is apparently so unwell she can’t even leave her house.

A source said, “Cheryl has been a trouper up until now but the pressure has finally got to her. She is very sick and feeling very, very low. The bronchitis has knocked her off her feet.”

Last night, her spokesperson confirmed Cheryl had been forced to withdraw from her pre-arranged appearances.

The spokesperson said, “Cheryl has had to postpone all promotion until she is better.”

Cheryl’s estranged spouse Ashley is apparently desperate to fly over from France, where he is currently being treated for a broken ankle, so he can meet up with the ‘Fight for This Love’ singer.

The England soccer player is due to be checked over by medics later today, and has a car on standby to take him to the airport as soon as he gets the all-clear.

A fellow patient at the sports injury clinic said, “There is a car on standby and a plane waiting to go. It is like a military operation.

“He’s had a long time to think about what he wants to say to his wife. Now he just wants to get on with it.

“I don’t know what he’ll do if doctors say he needs to stay. He’ll probably sneak off to the roof and be whisked away by helicopter.”

VIDEO: Lady Gaga, Beyonce team up for risque “Telephone”

Lady Gaga has released a ten-minute, highly stylized video with Beyonce, the whole point of which seems to be, “I don’t have a penis.” (Quote: “I told you she didn’t have a dick.”)

Gaga’s lack of boy-parts becomes evident before the first minute is up, in a clip where the singer wears fishnets, electrical tape pasties and nothing else. (Her hoo-ha is blurred, though.) The video doesn’t get much less gritty from there, with smoking cigarette sunglasses, many lesbian encounters, and a murder plot with Beyonce featuring lots of death by honey poisonings. Also, Tyrese Gibson makes an appearance. (Quote: “I knew you’d take all my honey, you selfish a*****e.”)

You can watch all nine minutes and thirty two seconds of Lady Gaga’s Telephone below.

Mark Owen Helped by Robbie Williams

Mark Owen is being helped by Robbie Williams in his battle to beat alcoholism.

The Take That star, who yesterday March 11, confessed he has cheated on his wife Emma Ferguson with at least 10 women throughout the course of their long-term relationship – has admitted he’s had issues with drinking for years but is trying desperately to overcome his problem.

Former bandmate Robbie, who has been in rehab twice to tackle drink and drug addictions, has been in regular contact with his friend and has told him he can stay at his Los Angeles mansion if he needs to.

Mark – who has now also come clean about his problem with the rest of Take That, Gary Barlow, Jason Orange and Howard Donald – told The Sun newspaper, “I told the lads a few weeks ago that I am trying to deal with a drink problem. I spoke to Rob about it too. I admitted I had a drink problem I never knew I had. I’m glad I’ve told them, so they look after me a bit now. I still have the odd drink but it might have to turn to cold turkey eventually.”

A source added, “Mark has confessed to having issues with alcohol and with his own substance abuse past Robbie is the perfect person to offer him support.”

Despite admitting he has an issue with alcohol, Mark doesn’t want to use it as an “excuse” for his infidelities, which include a five-year affair with former lover accounts manager Neva Hanley.

He said, “I’ve been living with the guilt. Maybe the drink was my way of dealing with it, I don’t know. I want to make it absolutely clear I am not using the drink as an excuse. My drinking is another problem I have and it hasn’t helped. But I’m not blaming everything on it.”

Emma threw Mark out of their south London home after the 38-year-old pop star confessed to his infidelities, and she was photographed yesterday, March 11, without her wedding ring as Mark went back to the house for crisis talks.

The couple have two children, son Elwood, three, and 14-month-old daughter Willow Rose.

Sharon Osbourne Praises Simon Cowell’s Fiancee

Sharon Osbourne thinks Simon Cowell and his fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy are “perfect” for each other.

The TV star, who is a judge on Simon’s show ‘America’s Got Talent’ and was previously on the judging panel of his UK programme ‘The X Factor,’ has met Mezghan and thinlks Simon has found his ‘Miss Right’.

She said, “I know her, she’s an extremely classy and elegant woman. I think they’re a perfect couple and they bring out the best in each other.”

Sharon, 57, insists she has always been on good terms with Simon, despite her exit from ‘The X Factor’ in 2008, but doesn’t think she would ever make a return to the pop search show.

She said, “Simon likes to be around beautiful young women. That’s not me and I’m too much of a loose cannon. He doesn’t want me telling him there’s something wrong with his baby. Not that there is, but he never knows what’s coming out of my mouth. He likes to know what’s coming next.”

Billy Corgan Blasts John Mayer For Sexual Comments

Billy Corgan has slammed John Mayer for talking about his sex life with ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson.

The Smashing Pumpkins rocker insists the womanizing musician, who described Jessica as “sexual napalm” in a recent interview, should have kept his “mouth shut” rather than tell the world about their romps.

Billy – who has been romantically linked to Jessica, 29, for months – fumed, “I think for any person who has celebrity to sort of drop rocks at somebody else’s feet like that, there are things you should really just keep your mouths shut on. There are things that should just be left alone.”

The ‘1979’ singer also claims John seems intent on wrecking his career with his outrageous comments and vulgar behavior.

Billy, 42, added in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, “He’s trying to destroy his career. Rather than take a year off or change his musical direction, some part of it is irritating his soul to the point where he’s trying to blow it up. Certainly a talented guy, but empathetically, standing on the sidelines, it’s hard to watch someone literally burn their career to the ground speaking as somebody who’s done it.”

Jessica recently blasted John, who she dated for nine months until May 2007 – for revealing their bedroom secrets to the world.

She said, “I don’t accept it… I hope he gets his life together.”

In his interview with Playboy magazine John described Jessica as being like “a drug”.

He went on to say, “And drugs aren’t good for you, if you do lots of them. Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me.

“Sexually it was crazy. That’s all I’ll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm.”

Matt Damon’s Kids Keep Him Grounded

Matt Damon’s children keep him grounded.

The ‘Invictus’ star, who raises three children, Isabella, three, 18-month-old Gia, and 11-year-old stepdaughter daughter Alexia, with his wife Luciana Bozan, says his family is his main priority and he would rather spend time with his kids than attend showbiz parties.

He said, “It’s pretty easy to kind of lose your way. I think working consistently with great people is really helpful. Also having kids is really helpful. They kind of disabuse you of the notion of your greatness pretty quickly. There’s a routine that you get into with kids that precludes you from going back to your single days. I’m probably more boring than I used to be. I go to bed earlier and I get up earlier.”

The 39-year-old actor hopes his girls will grow up to be like their considerate mother and he also wants them to continue his humanitarian work.

Matt, who supports many charities, including ONE, a campaign to fight AIDS and poverty in Third World countries – added to Parade.com, “My wife is a very wise and a very thoughtful person. Hopefully, they’ll inherit that.

“From me, I hope they’ll inherit a sense of social justice and a desire to continue some of those programmes that I’m involved with. Maybe not those exact ones, but hopefully, something to further social justice.”

Jennifer Aniston Felt Terrible Being Cuffed with Gerald Butler

Jennifer Aniston claims it was “terrible” being handcuffed to Gerard Butler in their new film ‘The Bounty Hunter’.

The screen beauty – who plays Nicole Hurly, a bail-jumping reporter being pursued by her bounty hunter ex-husband Milo Boyd, portrayed by Gerard, in the movie – insists being chained to one of Hollywood’s biggest hunks has its drawbacks.

When quizzed about what it was like to be handcuffed to the heartthrob, a smiling Jennifer told BANG Showbiz, “It was terrible. No really, it hurt. It was painful, they really cut into my wrists.”

Jennifer was speaking at the gala premiere of the film at the Vue cinema in London’s Leicester Square last night, March 11, and both she and Gerard braved the cold to meet fans.

Both stars praised everyone for turning out in the freezing temperatures as they addressed the crowd from a stage, although at one point the 41-year-old actress was visibly shivering in her Valentino couture dress and a black jacket designed by the late Alexander McQueen.

Gerard, who has been romantically linked to Jennifer since they met on the set of ‘The Bounty Hunter,’ was greeted by hundreds of screaming female fans but admits he finds it hard to comprehend his sex symbol status.

The 40-year-old Scottish star said, “I’ve always seen myself as a guy who struggles through life, and now everyday people go, ‘What’s it like to be a sex symbol.”
