Fess Parker, best known for his roles playing Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone has died at the age of 85.

After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps at the end of World War II, he started his career in the play Mister Roberts in 1951.

After signing with Disney and appearing in a number of small roles, Parker was thrust into the spotlight when in 1954 when he was personally picked by Walt Disney to play the role of Davy Crockett in a miniseries shown between 1954-1955.

After his success as Crockett, Parker became a star for Disney appearing in a range of films such as The Great Locomotive Chase, Old Yeller, and Westward Ho, The Wagons!

In the 1960’s he returned to television, reprising his talent of playing American frontier figures in the NBC series Daniel Boone from 1964 to 1970.

After a short term stint in the sitcom The Fess Parker Show in 1974, Parker retired from showbiz. In later years, he established and ran the successful Fess Parker Family Winery and Vineyards in Los Olivos, California.

Fess Parker is survived by his wife, two children, 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

South Park returned to television for its 14th season Wednesday night, and it returned with a bang, delivering its highest opening season ratings since 1999.

The episode, which tackled the an outbreak of sex scandals among celebrities, saw 3.7 million viewers in the United States, a figure that delivered Comedy Central its highest rating night of the year to date.

Joslyn James (real name: Veronica Siwik-Daniels) also says two pregnancies resulted from the relationship- one ending in miscarriage and one ending in abortion.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren spent a day playing in the park with their daughter Honor Marie.

The ‘Machete’ actress and her film producer husband whisked the 21-month-old tot off to their local playground shortly after returning to their home in Beverly Hills from a charity visit to South Africa.

Thrilled to be reunited with her daughter, Jessica glowed as she pushed Honor on the swings, played football and built castles in the sandpit during their family day out.

Smiling mother and daughter were shortly joined by Cash, who whisked the tot up into his arms as they enjoyed a relaxing walk through the park’s grounds.

The couple had been in South Africa with the 1 Goal: Education For All campaign, where they had visited many locals and towns in Soweto.

As they prepared to return to the US, they couldn’t contain their excitement about being reunited with Honor after a week away.

Jessica tweeted, “Halfway home to see my sweet angel! So excited!”

Even a problem with lost baggage couldn’t ruin Cash’s mood.

He wrote on his twitter account, “I normally get frustrated when my bags don’t make it on the flight but today I could care less. Honorbar here we come… (sic)”

Katy Perry wants to get married in a church.

The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer, whose parents Mary and Keith Hudson are both Christian pastors, reportedly told her fiance, British comedian Russell Brand, she wanted to tie the knot at a location close to her Los Angeles home, but turned down his suggestion of a recording studio at the Sunset Marquis hotel.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper, “Russell has been visiting the hotel for years and it is steeped in rock ‘n’ roll history. It’s in the middle of West Hollywood, but it has beautiful gardens and you feel like you are in some kind of tranquil paradise.

“Katy was keen, but when it was suggested they could have their blessing in one of the recording studios, she put her foot down.

“Her religious parents would be crushed if she didn’t get married in a church.”

Although his request was rejected, 34-year-old Russell, who originally wanted to marry in India, where they got engaged on New Year’s Eve, March 31, 2009, was not too upset and has told Katy, 25, he is willing to go along with her ideas for her dream day.

The source added, “Russell said she can have whatever she wants, as long as his mum’s there.”

Cheryl Cole wants to date a man with a “pot belly”.

The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer, who separated from her soccer player husband Ashley Cole last month following his alleged infidelities, has vowed she will never be romantically involved with a toned, muscular man again and wants her next lover to be a normal guy with a rounded stomach.

Discussing what type of men catch her eye on the beach, she said, “A guy could be in the Speedos and be ripped to within an inch of his life and I don’t think I’d look again.

“It would have to be the Bermuda shorts and the pot belly.”

Following her split from the Chelsea player, the 26-year-old beauty was spotted on an evening out with her backing dancer Derek Hough.

Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am, who produced Cheryl’s debut solo album ‘3’ – has also spoken out in praise of the pop star and admitted he would move to the UK “if it meant being with her”.

Despite all this male attention, Cheryl is concentrating on her work and is “excited” about her upcoming tour with the Black Eyed Peas before she starts works on an “amazing” new album.

She said, “I’m actually recording some new material and going on tour with The Black Eyed Peas which is exciting and scary.

“Hopefully later on in the year I’ve got some new stuff to release.

“I want it to be amazing, you know? I want people to be like, ‘Wow, I really, really enjoy this album,’ so I’m not going to put anything out until I feel like that.”

Cheryl is also keen to land a cameo role in a movie or on her favorite TV show, British soap ‘Coronation Street’.

She added in an interview with British radio station Key 103, “I would love to play a cameo. I wouldn’t mind doing that if I could just speak in my accent, be me in something for half an hour, I would enjoy that.

“But I can’t see myself being an actress. I love music.”

P. Diddy is planning to buy a British soccer team.

The multi-millionaire rapper is reportedly making moves to invest in struggling London club Crystal Palace, which is currently facing bankruptcy and had 10 league points deducted after going into administration, but is also looking at other sports teams in need of a major cash injection.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Diddy was in London meeting football fixers a couple of weeks ago. The finance is in place, he’s just deciding who he thinks he’ll make a bid for.

“Portsmouth – who are also in severe debt – were mentioned but he thought Palace were a better idea.

“He could cover their debt and bankroll a return to the Premier League. He liked the name as well.”

A spokesperson for the star, real name Sean Combs, confirmed he is looking to invest in a soccer team, but did not confirm if the Coca-Cola Championship side were his current favorite.

The 40-year-old star, who is though to be worth almost $550 million, recently showed he is happy to splash the cash on a night out in London.

The hip-hop star amazed revelers at London’s Runway club by having the DJ play a 30-minute set of his songs to signal his arrival and then insisted on having his own Sean John fragrance sprayed into the room every 20 minutes.

A source said, “All eyes were on Diddy. You could smell him coming a mile off. It was as if a king had arrived in the building – but you could hardly see him under all that mist from the perfume.

“His songs were played back-to-back for 30 minutes for his grand entrance. Girls were throwing themselves at him – it was wild.”

According to onlookers, the rap star insisted on only drinking Ciroc, the upmarket brand of vodka he endorses, and continued partying right through the night.

White Stripes, Raconteurs and Dead Weather singer/guitarist Jack White has confirmed that he recorded a collaboration with rap icon Jay-Z.

White told British GQ that the two got together and recorded a track a few weeks ago, and though no date has been announced for the track’s release, White confirmed the track exists and is “unbelievable-sounding.”

“I just did a record with Jay-Z,” said White. “We did a song together a few weeks ago. It was incredible. I played him something that I’ve been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it. It’s unbelievable-sounding.”

The collaboration isn’t particularly surprising given that the rapper and rocker have complimented each other over the past few months in the news. Of White, Jay-Z says:

“Jack White, he can do it all,” he said to Clash Magazine. “He’s a renaissance man. I like anyone who I’m working with to bring their flavour and their energy to the track, or else why get them? If I bring a person in, they are free to do whatever.”

White similarly lauded Hova a few months ago in an interview:

He said: “I feel like I’m a lot more to do with Jay-Z than I do with the Black Keys. And I don’t know what that is, it’s just a feeling.

“I love hip-hop if it’s done with a sense of the blues, even if the person who is creating it isn’t thinking that at all. I think Jay-Z is just incredible. ‘The Black Album’ is one of the best albums of the decade.”

As far as partnerships go, this should be amazing.

Robert Pattinson sent teenage girls into pandemonium at the UK premiere of his latest movie in London last night, March 17.

The British actor was greeted by thousands of screaming fans in Leicester Square as he stepped out on the red carpet to promote ‘Remember Me’, in which he plays a tormented man who falls in love after suffering a family tragedy.

The heartthrob spent over an hour chatting to fans and signing autographs with his co-star and love interest in the movie, Emilie de Ravin, and admitted he still can’t believe how popular he has become since being catapulted to fame by his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’ movies.

He told BANG Showbiz, “I’m feeling really, really good, I’m so happy to be here tonight and to meet everyone… I never go to places where crowds congregate, so it’s always a novelty. It’s a completely separate aspect of my life. It’s nice.”

Robert, 23, also revealed his female admirers followed him everywhere while he was shooting ‘Remember Me’ and he had to rely on the support of the cast to stop him from being mobbed everyday.

He said, “Everyone was so supportive on set. I got everyone helping me out everyday. Fans were gathering on the street and the crew would have to get really close together and form a circle around me, so we were really close. I don’t know, I guess I haven’t worked with that kind of unity before.”

Sandra Bullock is reportedly set to split from husband Jesse James.

The Oscar-winning actress has been left heartbroken by allegations the motorcycle enthusiast cheated on her with tattoo model Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee and friends say there is now no way back for the couple.

A source told America’s OK! magazine, “Sandra is devastated. Jesse has tried to smooth things over with her, but to no avail. She’s still leaving him.”

According to People magazine, the 45-year-old beauty left the marital home on Monday, March 15, and has since cancelled a planned trip to the UK next week to promote her movie ‘The Blind Side’ – the film which won her the Best Actress Oscar.

A statement from Sandra read, “Due to unforeseen personal reasons a trip abroad to support ‘The Blind Side’ has been deemed impossible at this time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your continued support of the film.”

Yesterday, March 17, it was alleged Jesse had enjoyed a fling with mother-of-two Michelle.

She claimed he had told her his marriage to the actress was over and romanced her while Sandra was away filming ‘The Blind Side’.

Michelle, who nicknamed Jesse ‘Vanilla Gorilla’ because he was so “well endowed” said, “I would never have hooked up with him if I thought he was a married man. He gave me the impression they were separated.”

Jesse, who married Sandra in July 2005, recently spoke of his pride in his spouse after she won the Best Actress prize at the Academy Awards earlier this month.

He said, “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to support my wife and her work. She does it all the time for me.

“She’s beautiful. She’s amazing. She takes my breath away. Sometimes I look at her and I do, I just lose my breath.

“I’m so proud of her. Nobody deserves this more and works harder. She’s old-school Hollywood, just gracious and a star who’s so much better than you expect them to be.”
