The ‘Hero’ singer decided to bond with her pets while exercising and admits she had a great time splashing around with the pampered pooches.

She tweeted, “Just took a swim w/all the puppies in the pool. Very adorable. (sic)”

Mariah, who is married to rapper-and-presenter Nick Cannon, has previously admitted she spoils her Jack Russell dogs Cha Cha and JJ and they even have their own entourage.

Speaking on the set of an advertisement she was shooting, she said, “My puppies are starring in this ad with me, too. I had my team with me but the pups had a mini-entourage of their own, of course! And why wouldn’t they? It was a big shoot and even my entourage had an entourage – my stylist had an assistant, my security had extra security.

“The shoot was based on the fact that some people think I’m a demanding diva. I have no idea why people have that impression!”

Simon Cowell is to get a special Emmy prize for his TV work.

The media mogul, who is behind shows including ‘The X Factor’ and ‘American Idol’, will be presented with the International Emmy Founders Award in the US, one of the highest TV accolades awarded to a TV star, for having “reshaped 21st century television and music around the world”.

President of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Bruce Paisner, said of the star, “He is an entrepreneur and a performer in equal measure.

“Simon Cowell has built an international empire and has changed the face of TV around the world.”

Simon, 50, is said to be thrilled with the accolade recognizing his TV shows – which are estimated to be worth $1.5 billion worldwide.

He said, “I’ve been very lucky to be able to make shows I love.”

Previous winners of the same prize include Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Al Gore and Sir David Frost

Simon will receive the gong at the 38th International Emmy Awards on November 22.

Rihanna has asked Matt Kemp to move in with her.

The ‘Russian Roulette’ singer delighted the 25-year-old Los Angeles Dodgers baseball star when she suggested he came to live in her Hollywood mansion, just months after they started dating.

A source said, “Matt is very happy to be moving in with Rihanna.

“He knew it was only a matter of time before Rihanna moved him in. He wants to make her happy.

“He had boxes of his things brought over in mid-March. He’s training in Arizona now, but when he’s back he’ll be at her place.”

The ‘Sweet Dreams’ singer and her rapper husband Jay-Z, who married in a secret ceremony on April 4 2008, are believed to be expecting their first child together, according to internet reports.

Blog Mediatakeout.com claimed: “According to our source Beyonce is doing fine and resting (for now), but she’s expected to continue working throughout her pregnancy. And we’re also told that Jay-Z is extremely happy to be having his first child with Beyonce.”

A spokesperson for the couple has refused to comment on the matter.

Beyonce’s publicist Alan Nierob said, “We don’t respond to private matter inquiries.”

Last November, it was reported the couple were trying for a baby.

At the time, a source said: “Jay-Z’s normally very secretive but he is so excited about the prospect of becoming a dad, he just let slip that they’re trying for a baby.”

However, around the same time the 28-year-old singer admitted she wanted to focus on being a wife before starting a family.

Lady Gaga has been compared to Michael Jackson by her music producer.

Rodney Jerkins, who worked with Gaga on her latest song ‘Telephone’ which was yesterday, March 25, estimated to received over one billion views on the internet, said she reminds him of Michael Jackson, whom he worked with on the ‘Thriller’ singers 2001 album ‘Invincible’.

Rodney told People.com, “We haven’t seen an artist like Gaga in a long time – we haven’t seen an artist that really has no fear. I remember Michael Jackson used to tell me he was crucified for doing ‘Thriller’, but he had to do what he felt was needed at that time. I’m just happy to be part of history.

“I’ve always wanted to leave my stamp on music, and to be able to say that I worked with Michael Jackson and now I’m working with Lady Gaga, who’ll probably go down in history as one of the best female entertainers of all time .”

Rodney explained, “When I got on the phone with Beyonce, she was telling me she wanted her verses to have a hood, street element, and I actually was caught off-guard. I wondered, ‘How am I going to do that? How am I going to make a disco/techno record and create a hood, street anthem vibe for her verse?’

“So, I have tattoos on my finger, hip, neck, wrist and spine. Im thinking of getting this one on my foot and yes, it will mean something 2 me. (sic)”

The ‘No Air’ star insists she doesn’t mind the pain of getting tattoos because it “tickles” more than hurts.

She added, “my first one was my bros name behind my ear. I get asked about it all the time when my hair is up.

“it actually tickled! my head shook because of the vibes from the needle! But tattoos are all relative to pain tolerance! (sic)”

Miley Cyrus, who has ‘Just Breathe’ etched under her left breast in tribute to her late grandfathers and one of her closest friends, who died of cystic fibrosis – insists she didn’t feel any pain because the inking had so much meaning for her.

She said, “It really doesn’t hurt if you’re thinking about the meaning. I could never get a meaningless tattoo, but I think that if you’re doing something that’s important, that’s significant in your life, it takes some of the pain away.”

Lindsay Lohan’s father has hired a security team to look after her.

Put yourself in Lindsay’s shoes. If you were being badgered by paparazzi, trying to avoid them, while wearing high heels and shielding your face, what would you do? Do you think you might fall? Give me a break. Have a heart! When Lindsay is wrong, she is wrong, and I say it! But when she is right I will stand up for her.”
