Gwyneth Paltrow’s Daughter Wants To Be an Actress

Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter wants to be an actress.

The ‘Iron Man’ star’s mother, actress Blythe Danner, claims five-year-old Apple – Gwyneth’s eldest child with husband Chris Martin, is already showing signs of wanting to follow in the footsteps of her famous family.

Blythe told In Touch magazine, “I definitely think she has that certain something. She’s very funny and beautiful. She adores her mother, and I think she likes me, and I think she probably likes to follow in footsteps.”

While the ‘Waiting For Forever’ actress admits her grandson, four-year-old Moses, is currently more interested in “‘Star Wars’ Lego”, she believes he may also want to become an actor eventually.

She added, “It’s in their blood.”

Blythe, whose husband, director Bruce Paltrow, died in 2002 – also praised her daughter as a “phenomenal” mother to Apple and Moses.

She said, “She really, really invests herself in an unusual way. She spends a lot of time with them – she answers everything, she anticipates, she never surprises them.

“They’re well-prepared for the travel and all the things that go on. They’re very happy kids.”

Jennifer Lopez Isn’t a Diva

Jennifer Lopez is not a diva.

The 40-year-old singer-and-actress claims she is not the difficult star many assume she is and admits she gets upset by the accusations.

She said, “I never like stories where people say I misbehave or act like a diva, because I don’t. Or that I make terrible demands, because those are always fabricated stories, and always have been.

“But they’ve become such a strong part of my image that I have no control over it. They’re not true, though, and that’s always bothered me.”

Despite her frustrations, the ‘Jenny from the Block’ hitmaker tries to ignore the more outlandish claims because she knows she is a good person.

She told the New York Daily News newspaper, “You have to keep a sense of humour. There’s something that people want about that diva idea, and I don’t understand it and it bothers me because it’s not the type of person I am, but what can I do?

“What’s always served me throughout my career is that when people get to know me, or talk to me, and they actually get a chance to see what I’m like, it combats the negative stuff – when they get a chance to see who I am as a person and what I’m about, and that I laugh and giggle and that I’m normal. The truth always comes out at the end of the day.”

Jennifer, who has two-year-old twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony, also revealed her recent break from acting reinvigorated her career.

She said, “I feel like it’s a new beginning. It’s a bit like when I was a teenager about to embark on this career but it’s much more challenging, difficult and harder.

“I have so much more experience now but I feel just as fresh as I did back then and I’m excited about my life.”

Paris Hilton and Doug Reindhardt Split Up

Paris Hilton has reportedly split from Doug Reindhardt.

The socialite reportedly called time on their 14-month romance recently, despite speculation they are planning to marry.

A source said, “Obviously she broke up with him.”

Paris, 29, was seen partying in Las Vegas last weekend and Doug was reportedly planning to fly out to see her on his way back from a family holiday to Aspen, but decided not to at the last minute.

The source added to E! Online, “He was in Aspen with his dad this weekend and was considering stopping by Vegas on the drive back, but changed his mind.

“I’m pretty sure that’s why he went to Aspen… to hide out and try to get over her.”

Paris chose to spend time with her parents, Kathy and Richard, at the weekend and even went clubbing in Vegas with them.

She tweeted, “Just packing my bags, going on a trip with my parents for a few days. I love spending time with my family, we have the best time… After dinner with the family, we all stopped by Tao. Had a great time dancing to DJ Reach. My parents are so much fun to hang out with.”

News of a split is sure to disappoint the families of Paris and 24-year-old Doug.

Earlier this year, the couple spent a week with his mother Kelly and stepfather Duane Roberts at a luxury villa on the Caribbean island of Anguilla, where the former ‘Hills’ star’s family were referring to Paris as “daughter-in-law”.

A source said at the time, “Paris and Doug looked like they were on a honeymoon. They would be on the beach for hours, just staring into each other’s eyes, kissing and laughing.

“At dinner Doug’s mom was overheard referring to Paris as her, ‘daughter-in-law’ and it’s pretty clear that Paris’ family feels the same way about Doug.”

After a night out in February with Doug and her parents, Paris tweeted about how pleased she was at how well they got on.

She wrote, “What a fun night! My mom and Doug were so cute dancing together! I love how my parents love my love! We all had a blast! Great night! (sic)”

Kenny Chesney Not Ready To Wed Renee Zellweger

Kenny Chesney admits he wasn’t ready to marry Renee Zellweger.

The country singer wed the Oscar-winning actress in May 2005 after a whirlwind romance but split four months later and Kenny says the union was doomed from the start.

He said on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’, “It was out of the box. Oh my God, but it’s tough. It really is tough. And she’s a sweet soul, no doubt about it, but I just wasn’t ready… This is the first time I’ve actually talked about it, but that’s what happened.”

Following the nuptials, Kenny confessed he “panicked” as being married didn’t fit into the life he had created.

He said, “I panicked. I look at my life as a box… So everything that I put in – learn how to play guitar, put that in the box. The friends I made. I put that in the box, and my career grew. That box I built grew into this wonderful house… And you protect everything and all the relationships and all the people that helped you build that house.”

Kenny is currently dating nurse Amy Colley and says he has taken a break from touring as he wants to spend quality time with her.

He told People magazine, “It’s not like I’m taking a year off so I can get married again, because that could or couldn’t happen. But I want to put myself in a position to do it if it did happen. I want to put myself in a position to have a relationship in my life.”

Kitty Kelley dishes on Oprah’s divadom, John Tesh tryst

Kitty Kelley is back with another ’shocking’ biography of a treasured icon, this time turning her poison pen toward the normally above reproach daytime diva Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah, also known as Pope-rah, is alleged in the book to have engaged in some diva-like behavior that runs contrary to her everywoman image. Chicago antiques dealer/gallery owner Peter Colasante gabbed to Kelley about a tightly scheduled meeting with Winfrey a few years back that didn’t go very well. Colasante says Oprah kept him waiting and refused to walk or climb stairs:

On the appointed day and time, two limos pulled up and Oprah went into Deborah Gore Dean’s shop across Wisconsin Avenue. After waiting 30 minutes, Colasante walked over and found his famous client berating Dean. He told Oprah and her entourage (secretary, pilot, hairdresser, makeup man, guards) that he had other appointments scheduled and she needed to honor her timetable.

“Oprah does not walk,” she told him, referring to herself in the third person. “Who is this guy?” Then she started screaming at her staff, but finally agreed to cross the street and come through his front door.

“I just don’t feel it,” she told him. “The vibrations aren’t right.”

“You’ll feel them once you see the paintings we’ve assembled for you,” he said, pointing up the stairs where Court’s art was hanging.

“Oprah does not do stairs,” she said.

Kelley also reveals that the daytime talk queen briefly dallianced with then-fellow anchorperson John Tesh. The New York Daily News says that the pair briefly had a romantic relationship, but that Tesh ultimately wasn’t comfortable with dating a black woman:

The towering 6-foot-6 Tesh and a barely out-of-her-teens Winfrey shared her Nashville apartment until he bolted in the middle of the night, according to the first-ever look inside the book, obtained by the Daily News.

According to Kelley, the “social pressure” on an interracial couple in Tennessee at that time proved too much for Tesh to handle.

“He said one night he looked down and saw his white body next to her black body and couldn’t take it anymore,” another Tesh ex-paramour told Kelley.

“He walked out in the middle of the night. … He told me he later felt very guilty about it.”

Well, I’m sure that Oprah’s over that whole episode by now. Kelley also claims that promoting her new Oprah tell-all has been difficult, and many media outlets won’t cover her book for fear of reprisals from the massively powerful Winfrey.

Susan Boyle Looking For Her Prince

Susan Boyle is looking for her “prince”.

The ‘Wild Horses’ singer, who remains a spinster at 49, still hopes there is time to find the man of her dreams.

Although she is still single, Susan has been having the best time of her life since she shot to fame after appearing on Simon Cowell’s show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.

In a TV interview in Australia, she said, “I go on looking. Some day my prince will come.

“But I have never been in a better place. It’s absolutely brilliant for me right now.”

After appearing on the series, Susan asked out a fellow churchgoer – 66-year-old Helmut Glaser, in her hometown of West Lothian in Scotland, but he turned her down saying he was too old.

Susan – whose debut album, ‘I Dreamed A Dream’, became the biggest-selling worldwide female solo album of 2009, also admitted she is still getting used to being recognised in the street but remains down to earth and still uses public transport.

She added, “It takes a wee bit to get used to it. I had to learn to be a bit different, people recognize you in the street. At the beginning I couldn’t go out on my own. I still catch the bus.”

Meanwhile, the pressures of fame appear to be getting to Susan as she has reportedly had a public falling out with her personal assistant, Joanne Crawford, who is also her niece.

The pair are said to have been at loggerheads during a recent trip to Japan, then upon their return to the UK, Susan blasted Joanne after being informed a private plane scheduled to take her from London’s Heathrow airport to Edinburgh was delayed.

A source said, “It all kicked off in public at the baggage carousel at Heathrow Terminal Three. Susan was absolutely raging. It’s a 13-hour flight from Tokyo and she was yelling at Joanne that she just wanted to f***ing get home. Then she started calling Joanne a b***h.

“Joanne and Susan were supposed to have a bond which would stop this sort of thing happening. But it’s not working.”

Jude Law and Sienna Miller Engaged Again

Jude Law and Sienna Miller are reportedly engaged again.

The couple’s first engagement was called off in 2005 following revelations Jude had been having an affair with his children’s nanny Daisy Wright but the 37-year-old actor and Sienna rekindled their relationship on a Caribbean beach holiday in December 2009.

The 28-year-old actress has now been seen wearing the same vintage diamond ring Jude gave her in 2005, but on her right hand to try and avoid speculation.

A source told the Mail Online website, “They do not want to make the engagement official which is why Sienna is wearing the ring on the wrong hand.

“They are keeping it secret, but are very happy and really hope it’s going to work out.

“Jude has been to visit Sienna’s parents and her sister Savannah and has worked hard to redeem himself.”

Meanwhile, Jude has admitted having a fourth child has made him more mature.

The ‘Alfie’ star – who has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost, Rafferty, 13, Iris, nine, and Rudy, seven, and another daughter, seven-month-old Sophia, with model Samantha Burke – told Parade magazine, “My daughter made me realize if there’s anything that’s going to make a man of you it’s having your will broken by a little girl. Eventually you have to grow up.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth First On-Screen Kiss

Miley Cyrus fell for Liam Hemsworth after they had their first on-screen kiss.

The 17-year-old actress – who has been dating the Australian actor after meeting him on the set of ‘The Last Song’ – has revealed the embrace they shared for the cameras “triggered” something between them and convinced her they should be together in real life.

She said, “That kiss definitely triggered something. It triggered something in my head that made me realize this was going to be a lot of fun and it made me realize that one day you can feel bad and the next you can meet someone who is your soulmate or your best friend or whatever and that’s really cool.”

Miley admits she doesn’t have very much in common with 20-year-old Liam, but insists that doesn’t matter when you are in love.

She said in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper, “Love makes you feel beautiful and it makes you feel good about yourself. It’s having someone complete you and hoping you learn more about yourself – someone who continues to inspire you and helps you be a better person. That’s what Liam does for me.”

The actress is leaving ‘Hannah Montana’, the Disney TV show which made her a star, at the end of the current series but, rather than be nervous, she is excited about not having the series to “lean on”.

She said, “It’s kind of bittersweet for me. It’s like my security blanket, my comfort zone. It’s the easiest thing that I do and I’ve always had the show to lean on, and to not have it to lean on in the future will be different for me.”

Rachel Weisz’s Ordinary Life

Rachel Weisz leads an “ordinary life”.

The Oscar-winning actress, who has three-year-old son Henry with director fiancee Darren Aronofsky, admits her home life is ordinary despite being in a showbiz relationship.

She said, “Of course, it’s not ordinary to get dressed in frocks to walk down red carpets and travel all over the world and stay in five-star hotels.

“I’m not working in a factory. But I drop Henry off at school, I pick him up. I try my hardest to keep everyone together.

“I am interested in playing extra-ordinary women, but I have an ordinary life.”

The 40-year-old Brit also admits she loves acting because there is always a new project for her to get involved in.

She told Culture magazine, “That’s the great thing about acting. I can never imagine being satiated. It’s just like some math problem to figure out. I’m just getting started.”

Recently fellow British actress Gemma Arterton admitted she wanted to have a career like Weisz’s, saying she admired the variety of her roles.

She said, “I’d really like the type of career Rachel Weisz has. I have a lot of respect for her, brilliant, talented, intelligent, a witty sort of woman. You know, she’ll do a rom-com – not that I ever want to do a rom-com – but then she’ll go off and do ‘The Constant Gardener’, have a family and live quite a normal life, it seems. I respect that.”

Lady Gaga Keen to be Role Model

Lady Gaga wants to be a role model.

The ‘Telephone’ singer claims she feels a responsibility to her fans and therefore tries not to be a “self-obsessed” artist like some of her contemporaries.

She said, “When you’re in the public eye, you’re a role model whether you want to be or not, and I want to be.

“I’m not one of those self-obsessed artists who don’t care about their fans. It’s not just about the music. I look out into the O2 and there are 18,000 screaming young people and I have a responsibility to them – and you’re an idiot if you don’t know that.”

The 23-year-old star also admits she is celibate at the moment and thinks avoiding sex is fine if you don’t have the time to get to know a person.

She told You magazine, “I’m single right now and I’ve chosen to be single because I don’t have the time to get to know anybody. So it’s ok not to have sex, it’s ok to get to know people. I’m celibate. Celibacy’s fine.”

The star recently revealed she wrote the first single for her new album while on the UK leg of her Monster Ball Tour in Liverpool.

She said to her fansite Gagadaily.com, “I’ve already written the first single for the new album and I promise you, that this album is the greatest of my career. It is the anthem for our generation.

“I wrote it for you because of you, when I was in Liverpool, I wrote the greatest music I’ve ever written.”
