Larry David has confirmed that HBO is on board for another season of the popular unscripted comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The show, which features Larry David as himself generally flung into any manner of awkward situations, has been critically acclaimed since it premiered in 2000. Of the decision to do another season, David says:

“After much soul-searching – and by the way, it was nowhere to be found – I have decided to do another season of Curb,” creator Larry David said in a statement.

“I look forward to the end of shooting, when I can once again resume the hunt for my elusive soul. I know it’s here somewhere or perhaps in the rugged mountainous regions of Pakistan.”

Production of the series will begin sometime this summer and episodes will be shot in New York and Los Angeles. Fans will have to wait until “sometime in 2011,” however, for new episodes of the show. David hasn’t disclosed details on what the new episodes may center around, but has ruled out any further appearances of the Seinfeld cast.

Oh those wacky guys behind South Park, always pissing off people.except this time they appear to have raised the ire of a radical Islamic website called Revolutionmuslim.com over this coming week’s show. Apparently it has something to do with the Prophet Muhammad showing up in a bear suit and something about saving the town.

“South Park is in danger from angry celebrities, violent Ginger kids and Mecha Streisand in an all-new episode titled ‘201,’ premiering on Wednesday, April 21 at 10PM on Comedy Central. It’s a tense situation in South Park as Muhammad has become the pawn in the game to save the town. The Ginger kids are threatening to destroy the city if Stan and Kyle don’t hand over the Prophet and the celebrities have met violence with violence by unleashing Mecha Streisand.”

To which Revolutionmuslim.com has posted a warning to the show’s creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone

“We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably end up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show. This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them.”

The Theo Van Gogh reference is regarding the murdered Dutch filmmaker because of a film about violence against women in Islamic society.

Kim Kardashian only posed for Playboy because her mother told her to.

The socialite admits she regrets baring all for the publication in December 2007, but was urged to do so by mother Kris Jenner to promote their ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ TV programme.

She said, “I’m sorry I did Playboy. I was uncomfortable.

“‘Go for it,’ my mother said, ‘They might never ask you again. Our show isn’t on the air yet. No one knows who you are. Do it and you’ll have these beautiful pictures to look at when you’re my age.’ ”

However, posing in another naked shoot for Harper’s Bazaar, the 29-year-old beauty admits she feels more comfortable this time around.

She told the magazine, “It’s definitely scary, but it’s very liberating. I think the message is embrace your curves and who you are. I feel proud if young girls look up to me and say, ‘I’m curvy and proud of it now.’

“I might have a little bit of cellulite. I might not be toned everywhere. I might struggle in this area or that.”

Meanwhile, Kim has come under fire for posting a picture on twitter with her holding a cat by the scruff of its neck.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) issued a statement criticizing her behaviour.

The statement said, “Kim Kardashian isn’t the only person who mistakenly thinks that because a mother cat picks up her kittens by the scruff of the neck that a supportive hand under the rump isn’t needed.”

However, the brunette beauty has defended her actions and insists the animal is “fine”.

She said, “I have been getting negative comments regarding the way I was holding the kitty, but rest assured, the owner and vet were on set and showed me how to pick him up.

“The cat was not harmed in any way and is perfectly fine! I love animals and would never do anything to harm any animals.”

Milla Jovovich has vowed not to make her daughter a child star.

The ‘Resident Evil’ star, who started modeling when she was just 12 years old – thinks it would be “creepy” if she forced two-year-old Ever Gabo into work, insisting she only embarked on her career so young to help her family out of poverty.

Milla, who is married to director Paul W. S. Anderson said, “She’s not going to be a working child. For me it’s kind of creepy, the whole working kid kind of thing.

“We were struggling financially, we were immigrants from Russia and we really needed to succeed. My mom saw talent in me and she wanted to make the best and most out of it.

“There is no real use for Ever to work. I definitely want my daughter to just be a child. Work hard in school and find your passion, slowly.”

As well as not wanting Ever to work, Milla, 34, is planning to scale back her own career commitments to spend more time with her family.

She told People magazine, “When I’m not working, I want to be with my baby. The multitasking-Milla is a thing of the past.

“I’m about prioritizing now. I can’t do all the modeling and movies that I want and still have time for my baby and my family.”

However, Milla admits it can be difficult spending time with her daughter outdoors because the presence of photographers “p**ses off” other parents, meaning she has to send Ever to the park with her nanny.

She explained, “She’s like, ‘Momma come to the park with me,’ and I say, ‘When Momma goes to the park, all the photographers come, so you go and play with your friends.’ It gets really tense at the park.

“She’s getting used to photographers but she says, ‘I want to break them. Oh camera. I want to break them.’ Sometimes I don’t even see them and she spots them, like, from a mile away.”

Vera Farmiga is reportedly pregnant.

The ‘Up In The Air’ actress, who already has 15-month-old son Fynn with her husband Renn Hawkey, has pulled out of her role in forthcoming movie ‘Machine Gun Preacher’ alongside Gerard Butler because she would be unable to travel.

A source told In Touch Weekly magazine, “She is three months pregnant and due in October. The role would have meant traveling to Africa this summer, but because her baby is due in the fall, she would have been too far along to make the trip.”

Vera, 36, recently revealed she can’t remember what life was like before she became a parent.

She said, “I’ve played a lot of mothers in my movies and I come from a massive family where the youngest is like 20-something years younger than I am. My mother had seven kids and I’ve sort of been studying her my whole life so I knew what to expect. But the funny part is, since having my son Fynn, I don’t remember what life was like before parenthood.”

Jennifer Lopez wants to make sure her children feel equally loved.

The singer-and-actress, who has two-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with husband Marc Anthony, admits being a mother to twins is challenging because she would hate either one to feel left out.

She told Parade.com, “Now, they’re two and noticing everything I do. It’s like if I give one a little bit of candy or food or whatever, I give the other one a little bit too. If I kiss my daughter I go, ‘Oh, I don’t want my son to see me kissing her without kissing him.’ So you just have to make sure that they both felt equally loved and I guess that’s the toughest part of being a mom to twins.”

Although she was shocked to discover she was carrying two babies, the 40-year-old beauty loves every part of motherhood and wishes she had started sooner.

She said, “I was in denial that I was even pregnant, so when I found out I was having twins, I kind of just laughed and went, ‘Like, of course this would happen.’ I started giggling and Marc started crying and it was joyous. The best part of having two babies at once, a son and a daughter, is mostly everything. You’re just having that feeling of love inside you all the time and motherhood is such a fulfilling place to be. I kind of wish it would have happened to me earlier in my life.”

Pamela Anderson is taking “full responsibility” for her financial problems.

The former ‘Baywatch’ actress owes $493,144 in personal income tax, according to the California Franchise Tax Board, and insists the situation is “driving her crazy”, though she is doing her best to resolve the matter.

She said, “I take full responsibility and I’m working it all out as best I can.

“I hate to owe anybody anything. It’s driving me crazy, but I’m doing everything I can to solve all that.”

She also claims the tax problem has been ongoing, but only recently noticed by the press due to her appearance on reality TV show ‘Dancing with the Stars’.

The 42-year-old blonde star told ‘Access Hollywood’: “You know that’s been going on for a while, but it got picked up because when you’re in the press I guess they dig around and try to find some dirt.

“I’m doing everything I can, obviously that’s really important to me.”

Last week, Pamela admitted she was “embarrassed” by the situation, and took to twitter to clear up any issues.

She said, “I’m not trying to avoid any tax obligation. Certain events occurred, outside of my control which caused this temporary but embarrassing situation. All of my tax obligations will be resolved in the very near future. Love Pamela.”

A month after surgery following a heart attack, hip hop legend Guru has died at the age of 43.

“Cancer related causes” are being blamed for Guru’s death, and friend and longtime collaborator Solaar released a statement soon after:

“The world has lost one of the best MCs and hip-hop icons of all-time — my loyal best friend, partner, and brother, Guru,” Solaar wrote. “Guru has been battling cancer for well over a year and has lost his battle! This is a matter that Guru wanted private until he could beat it, but tragically, this did not happen. The cancer took him. Now the world has lost a great man and a true genius.”

Solaar also released a “farewell letter” from Guru, written while Guru was in the hospital during the past month:

“I, Guru, am writing this letter to my fans, friends and loved ones around the world,” the letter begins. “I have had a long battle with cancer and have succumbed to the disease. I have suffered with this illness for over a year. I have exhausted all medical options.

“I have a non-profit organization called Each One Counts dedicated to carrying on my charitable work on behalf of abused and disadvantaged children from around the world and also to educate and research a cure for this terrible disease that took my life. I write this with tears in my eyes, not of sorrow but of joy for what a wonderful life I have enjoyed and how many great people I have had the pleasure of meeting.

“My loyal best friend, partner and brother, Solar, has been at my side through it all and has been made my health proxy by myself on all matters relating to myself. He has been with me by my side on my many hospital stays, operations, doctors visits and stayed with me at my home and cared for me when I could not care for myself. Solar and his family is my family and I love them dearly and I expect my family, friends, and fans to respect that, regardless to anybody’s feelings on the matter. It is my wish that counts. This being said I am survived by the love of my life, my sun KC, who I trust will be looked after by Solar and his family as their own. Any awards or tributes should be accepted, organized approved by Solar on behalf [of] myself and my son until he is of age to except on his own.”

Guru made a point of distancing himself from Premier in the letter:

“I do not wish my ex-DJ to have anything to do with my name likeness, events, tributes etc. connected in anyway to my situation including any use of my name or circumstance for any reason and I have instructed my lawyers to enforce this,” wrote Guru. “I had nothing to do with him in life for over 7 years and want nothing to do with him in death. Solar has my life story and is well informed on my family situation, as well as the real reason for separating from my ex-DJ.

Guru was born Keith Elam in Boston.

Cheryl Cole is set to be the new face of Disney.

The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer, who is attempting to break the US following her split from soccer star husband Ashley Cole, is reportedly being courted by the family studio to show off her acting skills in a TV show or movie.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper, “Cheryl is the full package. She’s got it all – brains, beauty, and a hint of bolshyness. It’s unbelievable the amount of interest she stirred up in the Disney Studios following her recent trips to Los Angeles, where she was making a music video.

“That ‘Parachute’ video with Derek Hough, who is massive in the States because of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, really showed just how graceful and dynamic she can be.

“From her experiences with Girls Aloud she can handle the high-energy routines, so the plan is to incorporate her in a show.

“It’s early days but a one-off like the Jonas Brothers’ movie ‘Camp Rock’ would be the way to go.”

News of a possible Disney deal for the 26-year-old star, who is already in talks to appear as a judge on Simon Cowell’s US version of ‘The X Factor’, alongside her stint on the British version, has already excited one of the studio’s current stars, 17-year-old Selena Gomez.

The ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ actress said, “Oh my goodness, I’d love to work with Cheryl Cole on a Disney show. I’ve just seen that video ‘Parachute’. She is beautiful. I’d love to.”

If Cheryl signs a contract, she would be following in the footsteps of global sensations Miley Cyrus, and ‘High School Musical’ stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, who all got their big breaks through Disney.

Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend insists the pair will continue to be doting parents to their daughter despite their recent split.

Oksana Grigorieva and the ‘Mad Max’ star, who have a five-month-old girl, Lucia, together – announced their relationship was over last week and while no details about the break-up have emerged the Russian musician has promised the real reason will soon be revealed.

She said, “I can tell you that we have split up, suddenly and recently. Unfortunately, I cannot give you the reason. But you will find out everything quite soon.

“Here is the official version – we split up by mutual consent and we will raise our daughter together. She is currently with my mother in my Los Angeles home.”

Despite initial reports insisting they are still on good terms, it was recently claimed 54-year-old Mel ended their relationship following a huge row.

According to National Enquirer magazine, 40-year-old Oksana accused her partner of “cheating” and “lashed out” over his reluctance to marry.

A source said, “After the row Mel told Oksana it was over.”

Mel has previously admitted he didn’t intend to marry the brunette beauty.

He said recently, “She’d make anyone a wonderful wife, but for the moment, she’s a mother.”

Mel has seven children with estranged wife Robyn, who filed for divorce last May.

Following the legal proceedings, it emerged the couple had been separated for some time and the actor was in a relationship with Oksana, who has 12-year-old son Alexander with ex-boyfriend Timothy Dalton.
