The Bobby Brown dead rumors seem to have first surface in Twitter, and claim the singer has died from lung cancer at the age of 41.

There are unconfirmed reports that a rep for Brown (yeah, he still has one apparently) has denied that the former husband of Whitney Houston is not dead.

Besides, if he were to die, wouldn’t drugs have been the cause?

Gwyneth Paltrow couldn’t cope without a nanny.

The 37-year-old actress – who has children Apple, five, and Moses, four, with her husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin – admits she would never have been able to return to work if she hadn’t hired someone to help with her brood.

She said, “I have a nanny and she’s just like part of our family. She’s lovely and a life saver and I couldn’t work without her.

“I couldn’t be here without her because she loves my children and they love her.”

Hugh Hefner has saved the iconic Hollywood sign.

The Playboy magazine founder donated $900,000 in a last minute bid to stop the famous landmark, which spells out the name of the moviemaking district in California, from being demolished.

Although the actual letters are owned by the city, the land where they stand, over 138 acres on Cahuenga Peak, was to be sold and developed.

However, local charity The Trust for Public Land spearheaded a campaign to raise $12.5 million in order to save it, with the media mogul donating the final amount they needed to reach their target sum.

Referring to the sign as “Hollywood’s Eiffel Tower”, he said, “My childhood dreams and fantasies came from the movies. The images created in Hollywood had a major influence on my life.”

He added, “Helping to save the Hollywood sign a second time made this a very special night. We celebrated at the ‘Iron Man 2’ premiere.”

California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said Hugh’s donation provided “the Hollywood ending we hoped for” by enabling the charity to buy the sign from the property developers who had earmarked it as a place to build luxury flats.

Donations toward saving the sign came from all 50 US states, as well as 10 countries and celebrities, including actor Tom Hanks and director Steven Spielberg.

Despite the worldwide support, Hugh blasted Californian residents for not fully appreciating the landmark.

He said, “This town never had a good sense of its own history, never had good signs or markers for the sites and streets where so many internationally famous things have occurred.”

The sign was initially built in 1923 as an advert for a real estate development called Hollywoodland.

This is not the first time Hugh has saved the sign.

In the late 1970s, he persuaded donors to help rebuild it after years of neglect had left it a mess of battered panels and skeletal metal.

Amy Winehouse is in hospital after injuring her breasts.

A source said, “She’d had a few drinks. At first she thought she had broken something, so got her security to take her to hospital. The doctors were worried she might be concussed because she had a big bump on her head and a cut above her eye.”

The 26-year-old star reportedly caused chaos at the private London clinic she was admitted to because of her drunken antics, with ward staff having to beg her to calm down.

Another onlooker told The Sun newspaper, “Amy was running up and down the corridors with her top off and smelling of alcohol. She has been heard complaining of pain caused by bruising on her breasts and around her ribs. The nurses had to step in and ask her to calm down. Eventually she had to be taken back to her room. The ward sister was absolutely fuming.”

Amy’s injuries have been described as “not serious” but she is refusing to leave hospital after being kept in overnight on Sunday, April 25.

Her agent said, “She really likes the clinic so may stay a few days.”

The star has already returned to the facility once this month as her implants were causing her pain.

Amy feared she would have to have them removed, but medics eventually gave her the all clear.

Katherine Heigl says husband Josh Kelley is a “spectacular” father.

The troubled actress currently lives with her 16-year-old sister Ali, and their father Michael is now keen for authorities to become involved as he doesn’t believe Lindsay is fit to look after her sibling, and blames their mother Dina for allowing the situation to occur.

Michael, who has repeatedly claimed his older daughter is addicted to prescription drugs said, “I’m going to bring child protection services into the picture in New York. Dina has no right whatsoever allowing Ali, a 16 year old, to come out here without supervision given the situation Lindsay is in.”

Dina has been rumored to be looking into filing a restraining order against her 50-year-old ex-husband, but he believes she has no grounds to do so and has urged his former spouse to agree to a meeting to discuss the welfare of the actress.

He told website Hollyscoop, “I spoke to their lawyers and they told me they have no grounds to get a restraining order. How many times has Dina said she will get a restraining order? She has done this a dozen times.

“If this is the way she wants to go about fixing the problem instead of addressing my daughters issue then it just show you where her heart and minds are at.

“I’m issuing Dina an ultimatum now. She sits down and mediates with me with regards about getting my daughter help or I’m going to court and I’m getting child protection services involved.”

Last week, Michael attempted to stage an intervention to “save” the 23-year-old star.

He flew to Los Angeles and went to her apartment building in Hollywood accompanied by four plain clothes police officers, but she wouldn’t let him in.

He vowed at the time, “I won’t give up, I’ll do whatever I have to do to get her the help she needs.”

Following the incident, Lindsay described him as her “ex-dad”, while Dina branded him “dangerous”.

Steve Carrell is happy looking like a middle-aged nerd.

The ‘Date Night’ actor knows he dresses conservatively and looks geeky but thinks he would look stupid if suddenly overhauled his fashion choices for something more youthful.

Steve, 48, said, “I am who I am and I should embrace that. There’s something off-putting about a middle-aged person trying to look as if he’s in his mid-20s. I feel there is strength to embracing who you are and how old you are.”

The comedy star – who is married to wife Nancy, with whom he has two children, daughter Elisabeth, eight, and son John, five – also insists he isn’t interested in the Hollywood lifestyle and believes he was better prepared for fame because he achieved success later on in life.
