Justin Bieber has got a tattoo.

The 16-year-old singer reportedly had a small bird inked onto his hip shortly after his 16th birthday in March, at the Son of a Gun tattoo parlour in Toronto, Canada.

According to gossip website bestweekever.tv, having the design marked a family tradition, and Justin was accompanied to the tattoo parlour by his father Jeremy, who “showed his approval by giving a thumbs-up when they posed for a photo with staff.”

The site also published pictures of the ‘Baby’ hitmaker on the tattoist’s table, though a clear image of the completed design could not be seen. However, photographs of him topless on a beach in Sydney, Australia, show the artwork visible on his pelvis.

Fans have already taken to twitter to express their views on the teenager’s inking.

StopJBFanWar wrote, “Justin Bieber has a tattoo? That’s hot.”

glass_passenger tweeted, “Whenever my dad tells me I’m a disappointment for having a tattoo, I will remind him that Justin Bieber, 16, has one.”

treasure_girl8 added, “OMG!! U cant believe what I just read!! Justin Bieber has a tattoo on the left hip?!?!?! WHAT?? Is that true?? (sic)”

Susan Boyle has been blasted by opera legend Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

The New Zealand-born soprano was asked about the Scottish singing sensation’s version of ‘I Dreamed A Dream’, which she also sings, but dismissed 49-year-old Susan as a product of “whizz” and “bang” reality television.

Speaking to the Radio Times, she said, “Let’s get off that subject, move on. I’m doing something classical, not whizz-bang. Whizz-bang disappears. It goes ‘whizz’ and then ‘bang’.”

The 66-year-old star, who is holding a competition on British station Radio 2 to find a new operatic talent – also took a swipe at popular reality TV shows, claiming she loathes the frenzy which surrounds them.

She said, “You insult me by even wanting to bring it into this conversation. I’m not interested. My competition has nothing to do with ‘The X Factor’, which I can’t bear.”

She also accused the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judges, which include music mogul Simon Cowell, of not doing a very good job, claiming her judges “know what they’re talking about”.

Cate Blanchett’s husband told her she had a short time left in the film industry.

The Australian actress has revealed her playwright spouse Andrew Upton told her upon her breakthrough role in ‘Elizabeth’ in 1998 she would probably only have five years left making movies.

She said, “My husband keeps me really honest. I remember him saying to me after I made ‘Elizabeth’, ‘Sweetheart, you’ve probably got about five years.’

“He was preparing me for the time when the work dries up, as it invariably does.”

Despite his brutal honesty, the ‘Robin Hood’ actress is happy to work with her husband on projects including their second stint as artistic directors of the Sydney Theatre Company because she understands the point of criticism.

Cate said in an interview with W magazine, “We’re really open. I have friends – she’s an actor-writer married to a director – and she was horrified when we said we were going to work together.

“She said they don’t talk about work because they don’t want to venture into the territory of being criticized by your partner. But I know what to do with criticism.”

However, the 41-year-old star admits she doesn’t listen to many people’s opinions about her work.

She said, “I’m not focused on what other people think of me. Some people get you and some people don’t, and to spend your life trying to make people understand how deep and complex and varied you are – I think that way lies madness.”

Cate and Andrew also want to have another child, but predicts she will probably have another boy to add to their three sons, Dashiell, eight, Roman, six and Ignatius, two.

She said, “If the next one was a boy, then that’s just our lot. It’s true you do get a bit demented with three boys. But the chaos of it is great.”

Sarah Jessica Parker feels “old and tired”.

The 45-year-old actress, who plays glamorous writer Carrie Bradshaw in the ‘Sex and the City’ movies and TV series, says motherhood has left her so exhausted she has no time to spend on her appearance.

She said, “I don’t have a beauty secret. I feel old and tired! I have children I run round after, I try to walk as much as possible, and other than that I buy every cream possible.

“I love beautiful clothes and am privileged enough to have access to a lot of them, but they’re returned the next day. They’re not mine!”

“I understand that people will blur the lines, but I feel very different. Which is probably why it works so well, because if she felt familiar to me, I would have bored of playing her a long time ago.”

Jennifer Lopez has hired a $29 million yacht for the Cannes Film Festival.

The ‘Back Up Plan’ star, who has two-year-old twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony, is determined to ensure she has as much privacy as possible while she attends the famous annual French event and has acquired the vessel from fashion designer Roberto Cavalli.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper, “The yacht comes with its own crew of four – so it’s much plusher than any hotel.

“And Jennifer can have all her entourage under one roof.

“She was adamant she wanted a really private trip because she’s got the babies with her so she jumped at the chance of staying on Roberto’s yacht.”

Although Jennifer is doing her best to keep her family out of the spotlight, she and Marc have attended a number of high-profile events since arriving in France, including the Monaco Grand Prix and a Gucci party in honour of director Martin Scorsese.

Last year, Mariah Carey hired the luxury craft while she attended the festival to promote her movie ‘Precious: Based On The Novel ‘Precious’ By Sapphire’.

However, the generous star, who is married to rapper-and-presenter Nick Cannon, also splashed out for her entourage to attend the prestigious movie event.

A source said at the time, “Mariah’s really close with her team and couldn’t bear the thought of a couple of people not being able to come, so she paid for it out of her pocket. That’s virtually unheard of in the celebrity world.”

Heidi Klum thinks it’s easier having four children than just one.

The supermodel raises Leni, six, Henry, four, Johan, three, and seven-month-old Lou with husband Seal and while her big brood might seem hard work she insists it’s not that tough.

She said, “I have a lot of help. Seal does a lot of chores around the house and four kids are actually easier to manage than an only child. They keep each other busy and don’t need grown-ups telling them what to do.

The German beauty admits she and singer Seal are both busy with their careers but try not to be away from each other and the children for too long.

The music mogul, who got engaged to make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy earlier this year, has reportedly told pals he wants a low-key celebration of his final days as a single man, but close friend Louis Walsh is expecting to see some female companions at the traditionally all-male evening.

Louis told Britain’s Star magazine, “I don’t want to plan his stag do, though. I think his brother Nicholas will be doing that.

“Simon wouldn’t like to do much. He’s not into going out and getting drunk. It’s not really him. I’m sure he’ll like to go out for a nice meal, a few drinks and a bit of fun… and maybe bring along a few girls!”

Louis still doesn’t understand what Mezhgan sees in 50-year-old Simon, because she is so much better looking than him.

He quipped to new! magazine, “She’s gorgeous! She’s far too good for him. I’ve liked all of his girlfriends, but Mezhgan is so real; so nice. In fact, she’s everything he’s not!”

“I think Mezhgan could do much better than Simon. She’s a lovely person and so gorgeous – too pretty for him. She could do better than this 50-year-old man with a funny haircut. Simon could pay anyone in the world to cut his hair – he could even buy new hair. It’s weird but he likes it and she must, too. She loves him for being him. She likes his funny heels, his funny hair and his funny face.”
