Rep for Heidi Montag confirms split from husband Spencer Pratt

Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt, who appeared on MTV’s The Hills and wed in 2009, have separated, a rep for Montag has confirmed.

Montag’s rep didn’t take the high road in announcing the split, either:

“Heidi is looking to move out due to all the fake bad press that Spencer controls.  She’s tired of it and is looking for a place and wants to focus on her acting career.”

The couple hasn’t created a massive impression of stability in the press, with Spencer publicly threatening to leave Heidi if she got pregnant and Montag’s admission that her plastic surgery addiction severely financially burdened the couple. The two also created a lot of drama on last summer’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, leaving the show several times amid claims Montag had fallen ill.

Montag has not yet discussed her marital issues on Twitter. She is reportedly seeking new digs in Malibu, and a source says the split was a long time coming.

Robert Pattinson Claims to be Single

Robert Pattinson is claiming to be single.

The heartthrob actor has been dating his ‘Twilight’ co-star Kristin Stewart since meeting on the set of the movie but has reportedly been telling crew of his latest film ‘Water for Elephants’ he is not romantically involved with anyone.

An insider said, “Rob is not dating anyone. There are no plans for Kristin Stewart to visit the set and he tells everyone he is single.”

The 24-year-old star is starring alongside Reese Witherspoon and the chemistry between the pair is said to be “magic” as they meet for table readings before shooting begins.

The source added to the New York Post newspaper, “Rob worked with Reese seven years ago on ‘Vanity Fair’. He had a tiny part and he joked with Reese that of course she didn’t remember him from their time together then.

“They joke a lot and Rob has her blushing and laughing all the time. He’s very charming. He went on about how she is this beautiful, super-famous Academy Award winner, and Reese loved it. She was flattered and giggling while he teased. It’s cute and it makes for a great movie set. Everyone is excited because they fit so well together.”

Lady Gaga’s Emotional Tribute for Sick Grandpa

Lady Gaga broke down on stage last night, May 27, during an emotional tribute to her sick grandfather.

The ‘Paparazzi’ singer, who was performing the first show of her second UK ‘Monster Ball Tour’ in Nottingham, England, dedicated her performance of ‘Brown Eyes’ to her ill relative and had to wipe tears from her eyes during the song.

She told the audience, “If we all sing loud enough, maybe he can hear us!”

Although she was clearly upset, the flamboyant pop star continued her dramatic concert which has an enormous stage production.

The 24-year-old singer has previously described her stage show as “ostentatious and over-the-top”.

She said, “For the next version of the ‘Monster Ball’, I’m throwing out the stage. My team thinks I’m completely psychotic. But I don’t f***ing care what they think.

“Just to give you an idea, the stage is about four times the size of the first one and conceptually, it’s completely different. One thing that has been lost over the past 10-15 years, in pop music, is the idea of showbiz. And this is definitely bringing it back.”

BREAKING – Gary Coleman of Diff’rent Strokes fame has passed away

While we all knew that Gary Coleman, the former child star of Diff’rent Strokes, was in the hospital and things weren’t looking good for him the word just out via CNN is that he has passed away.

It would seem that the two operations doctors had done on his brain following a fall in his home did not succeed as Coleman’s listed cause of death is that of a brain hemorrhage.

Former child star Gary Coleman, who rose to fame as the wisecracking youngster Arnold Jackson on the TV sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes” but grew up to grapple with a troubled adulthood, has died. He was 42.

Coleman died of a brain hemorrhage at a Provo, Utah, hospital, Friday afternoon, according to a hospital spokeswoman. The actor fell ill at his Santaquin, Utah, home Wednesday evening and was rushed by ambulance to a hospital, Coleman’s spokesman had said in a statement earlier Friday.

He was then taken to another hospital — Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo — later Wednesday night.

Update: ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ Actor Gary Coleman Dies

‘Diff’rent Strokes’ actor Gary Coleman is critically ill in hospital.

The American actor, best known for his role as Arnold Jackson in the US sitcom, was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, May 26, after sustaining a head injury during a fall.

His manager said, “We’re just getting bits and pieces right now, so there’s really nothing to report.”

In February, 42-year-old Coleman – who has experienced health problems all his life as a result of the kidney disease he suffered as a child – had a seizure on the set of TV show ‘The Insider’ and also had to undergo heart surgery last year.

In January, Coleman was arrested on a domestic violence charge, although it wasn’t revealed who the victim was.

The former child star has also had a rocky marriage to actress Shannon Price, 24, whom he wed in secret in August 2007.

Their marriage has been beset with public and private arguments, and they appeared on US TV show ‘Divorce Court’ to discuss their problems.

Price was arrested on domestic violence charges last July after an incident with her husband. She had locked the 4ft 8ins actor out of their house and police said his bedroom was trashed.

Coleman was also arrested in Utah in 2008 after a man claimed he’d tried to run over him in a car park after he tried to take a picture with him. The case was reportedly settled out of court.

UPDATE: Coleman has died at a hospital in Utah.

Gene Simmons Accused of Sexual Assault

Gene Simmons has been accused of sexual assault and sexual battery.

Make-up artist Victoria Jackson has filed a lawsuit against the KISS singer, whose real name is Gene Klein, alleging he approached her when she was working at Los Angeles’ ESPN Sports Center last November and said in “a lecherous and inappropriate manner, ‘I like you.’”

According to the documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Victoria was “surprised by the overtly sexual attention”.

She accuses the 60-year-old rocker of grabbing and hugging her, to which she responded, “Ouch. You are hurting me.”

She then tried to back out of his way because “his spiked chest was jabbing her in the face”.

Gene refused to let go of the make-up artist, instead “he pulled her even closer, tightly, pinning her arms and said, ‘No not yet.’ ”

He is then accused of “humping her to the extent she could feel his groin grinding into her”.

Gene then allegedly said, “Aw, That’s better! Now you can go.”

According to RadarOnline.com, Victoria – who described the rocker’s behaviour as “vile and inexcusable” – is seeking over $500,000 in damages.

She claims she has suffered humiliation, shame, embarrassment, anger, anxiety, loss of sleep and depression.

However, the ‘Crazy Crazy Nights’ star has filed a suit against Victoria claiming she wanted money and no assault occurred.

Kristin Davies Driven Crazy by Child Co-Stars

Kristin Davies was driven “crazy” by her ‘Sex and the City 2’ child co-stars.

The 45-year-old actress, who reprises her role as mother-of-two Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the movie sequel, admits she didn’t need to act when showing her character’s strain at caring for two young children.

She told BANG Showbiz, “I didn’t have to work myself up for those scenes. Those kids were driving me crazy!”

Although Kristin struggled with some of the family scenes in the movie, she insists she is always happy to undertake whatever is asked of her by director Michael Patrick King.

Speaking at the UK premiere of the movie in London’s Leicester Square last night, May 27, she added, “I would never refuse to do anything that Michael asked of me, he knows the characters so well that whatever he did would be for the good of the film.”

Joining the film’s stars Kristin, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall at the premiere, were a host of other famous faces, including Kylie Minogue, Emma Roberts and Emma Bunton.

Hayley Williams posts topless Twitpics, claims she was ‘hacked’

Paramore’s Hayley Williams tweeted the above pic last night, but it was quickly removed after she claimed her account was ‘hacked.’

Gossip blogs speculate that the picture was posted in error, but Williams says her account was compromised:

well… my night just changed drastically. got hacked.

As Williams has not posted since (the “hacked” tweet came very late Thursday night), there’s no explanation for how the person who allegedly posted the topless pic obtained it or for what purpose it was taken in the first place. Williams has not addressed the incident outside of Twitter, and her label has not commented on the leaked pic. Blogs have guessed that the pic was meant to be sent over Direct Message:

One story making the rounds is the picture was meant for her boyfriend, New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert, using Twitter’s direct message feature. And of course there is Hayley’s excuse – which is she got hacked. If she indeed did get hacked then that person had to have access to Hayley’s computer or phone and access the private photo. They then had to know Hayley’s Twitter password to publish it.

Either way, a whole heck of a lot more people have heard of Paramore this morning. Uncensored pic, below:

Alicia Keys Pregnant and Engaged

Alicia Keys is pregnant.

The ‘Doesn’t Mean Anything’ singer is very “happy” to be expecting her first baby and is getting married to music producer Swizz Beatz, who she has been dating since 2008, later this year.

A representative for the couple confirmed the happy news, saying, “They are very happy. Alicia is with the man who has inspired so much of her music and her album ‘The Element of Freedom’.”

The announcement comes after the pair, who got engaged in January, attended a Black Ball in London for the singer’s ‘Keep a Child Alive’ charity last night, May 27.

Alicia looked radiant as she took to the red carpet in a floor-length gown which cleverly disguised her small bump.

It is not yet known when the baby is due or whether it will be a boy or a girl.

It was only recently that the 29-year-old star admitted she was thinking about starting a family.

She said, “I absolutely am very interested in starting a family. It is one of the most beautiful experiences to have in this life and I am looking forward to it when it is my time.”

It won’t be the first child for 31-year-old Swizz, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, as he has two sons from previous relationships.

Alicia’s husband-to-be recently admitted he was completely smitten with the singer, saying, “What we have is so precious.”

Rupert Grind Recognized by His Red Hair

Rupert Grint is a “proud ginger”.

The actor, who portrays Ron Weasley in the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise, says fans always recognize him because of his distinctive red locks but insists he will never dye his hair as it would be a “betrayal”.

He told BANG Showbiz, “Do I get recognised? It’s embarrassing; I think it’s my hair. It’s mad, yeah I can go out, but I get recognised all the time… I’ve always been quite a proud ginger so I couldn’t dye it and betray the other gingers.

“Getting recognised is strange, it’s not an easy thing to get your head round, but I’m getting used to it.”

Despite his repeated attempts for some private time with friends, the 21-year-old star is easy to spot because of his unusual vehicle – a customized ice cream van.

He said, “It was always my dream to have one, it’s a fun thing to drive around in. I’ve been everywhere in it but it’s not practical because you do get queues of girls wanting ice cream and I have no stock!”
