Real Housewives star Bethenny Frankel and husband Jason Hoppy met their new baby, a girl, a month early yesterday at New York Presbyterian Hospital yesterday.

A rep for Frankel commented to E!:

“Bethenny and Jason are proud to welcome their new baby girl…born at 8 a.m. . . . in New York City. She is a 4 lb. 12 oz., healthy baby. Bryn, mom, dad and [their dog] Cookie are all very happy.”

The couple had less time as newlyweds together than they’d originally planned- Hoppy and Frankel married on March 28th, and the baby arrived a month early yesterday. If you heard initial reports that the baby was a boy, that’s down to misinformation from fellow Real Housewife Jill Zarin, who posted on Facebook:

Just home from co-hosting LXTV today. What a thrill. Heard Bethenny had a baby boy…so happy for her and Jason. So happy for them.

Gemma Arterton finds being a Disney princess “daunting”.

The British actress plays the female lead Princess Tamina in the famous family movie studio’s latest blockbuster, ‘Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’, and admits she has only recently realized just how high-profile the role is.

She said, “It’s daunting, I’ll be honest with you. I never thought I was that kind of actress. I bought my sister ‘Sleeping Beauty’ the other day and I thought, ‘You know what? I’m the new Disney princess!’ That’s insane.”

Gemma, who stars opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in the film, is also struggling to comprehend the fact that she can now buy a doll of herself.

She added to The Times newspaper, “There’s going to be a Tamina doll, a Tamina outfit and I find that so surreal.”

The actress recently admitted she doesn’t think she is enough of a ’sex goddess’ to please fans of the original ‘Prince of Persia’ computer game, leaving her scared to go to a comic convention to promote the film.

She said, “They want me to go to Comic-Con. It kind of worries me. I’ve had letters telling me I’m not right for the part because I don’t look like the girl in the video game! “She really is this sex goddess. They’ve got massively high standards.”

Gwyneth Paltrow’s children have American accents.

The American actress – who has two children, daughter Apple, five and son Moses, four, with her British musician husband Chris Martin – has revealed the kids’ mixed upbringing in London and New York have led
them to develop unusual voices.

She said, “Apple speaks with an English accent in England and an American accent in America. And my son has a weird hybrid of a Brooklyn and British accent. I don’t know what he speaks, but it’s cute.”

The 37-year-old star couldn’t say whether she prefers the UK or US because she loves both countries.

She said, “It’s not about preference. I love both and I’m fortunate I’m able to go back and forth between England, which has great things, and New York, which also has its great things, and then go to Los Angeles for work and whatever.”

Gwyneth admits she loves California too as she gets to see her friends who live there, including her ‘Iron Man 2’ co-star Robert Downey Jr.

She said, “I really enjoyed being back there. My children were so happy and we had a really nice time as a family. And I really love Robert. Him and his wife are two of my best friends.”

Sharon Osbourne doesn’t think she’ll ever get her eating under control.

The outspoken star – who has previously battled bulimia – says she will always be haunted by her food issues and still overeats, although she tries to hide it from her family. She said, “Eating is my Achilles heel. I’m addicted to food and every day I wake up and think, ‘Today is the day that I’m not going to overeat.’ But that’s my thing in life, and I’m overweight, I am, but…
“I still have my big binges. Just the other weekend I was hiding from Kelly in the cupboard eating Maltesers; I can eat things in ridiculous amounts. And then I have to hide the wrappers because I know my other daughter Aimee will find them.”

Sharon knows her family – husband Ozzy, son Jack and Kelly and Aimee – get upset but she doesn’t think she can be helped.

She said in an interview with Glamour magazine, “Ozzy worries because of my health, but it’s my kids who get really upset. For example, Aimee wouldn’t even talk to me the other night because she was so upset about what I was eating.

“But nothing works for me. I have a very big self-destructive streak. Everybody has something, but I do everything to extremes.”
