Next Indiana Jones Movie Will Be Set In Bermuda Triange Where We Hope Shia LaBeouf Will Disappear

The destruction of the Indiana Jones franchise looks set to continue with news that Indiana Jones 5 will be set in the Bermuda Triangle.

According to Stuff.co.nz, “Harrison Ford’s final outing as Indiana Jones will be “emotional and exciting” as the franchise heads back to its roots after a badly received fourth installment.”

The follow up to the poorly received, but highly profitable Indiana Jones 4 will see the return of Shia LaBeouf as Indiana’s protege. We hope with all sincerity then that part of the script includes him disappearing in the Bermuda Triangle, never to be seen in an Indiana Jones movie again.

Filming is said to begin next year for a 2012 release.

Ricky Martin To Star in ‘Evita’ on Broadway

Ricky Martin is set to star in a new production of ‘Evita’.

The ‘Livin’ la Vida Loca’ singer,  who previously appeared in ‘Les Miserables,’ will play the part of Che opposite Argentine actress Elena Roger in the musical which will run in New York’s Broadway theatre district.

The 38-year-old Latino star said, “I’ve never lost my love for the intimacy of the theatre.”

The revival of ‘Evita’, which is scheduled to open in spring 2012 with Michael Grandage directing, will be the first new Broadway production of the Tony Award-winning musical since its 1979 New York debut which ran for four years.

Michael said of the project, “It is very exciting to bring this new production of Evita to Broadway with an Argentine woman in the title role for the very first time.

“With Ricky Martin joining the company, we now have an opportunity to make the production even more authentic.”

The Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber penned musical dramatizes the life of Argentina’s controversial first lady Eva Peron, and remains one of their most popular productions, having even been turned into a successful movie in 1996 starring Madonna.

Beyonce Knowles Takes Control of Jay-Z’s Art Taste

Jay-Z’s wife Beyonce Knowles controls his art tastes.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the hip-hop superstar reveals he wanted to purchase a black and white photo taken by renowned American artist-and-photographer Laurie Simmons of a “a noirishly lit pistol with a pair of women’s legs emerging from the handle”.

However, Beyonce was less than impressed with her husband’s choice and told him she didn’t want it in their Tribeca penthouse in New York.

Instead, the ‘Halo’ singer had it replaced with another Simmons piece which depicted a perfume bottle instead of a gun.

Jay-Z, who is usually tight-lipped about his marriage to Beyonce, said, “It was more of a masculine style, I guess.”

In the interview, the 40-year-old music star also reveals his love of indie music and believes hip-hop could learn a lot from the “energy” of bands like Grizzly Bear.

He said, “I love the energy coming out of indie rock right now. It has this rebellion thing that hip-hop is missing now, the thing that made hip-hop hip-hop.”

John Corbett and Bo Derek “Beyond” Having Biological Children

John Corbett admits he and Bo Derek are “beyond” having children naturally but could adopt.

The 49-year-old actor, who reprises his role as Aidan Shaw in ‘Sex and the City 2’ – says he and his 53-year-old partner are now too old to conceive a child but the couple would consider opening their home to a disadvantaged child.

He said, “I think we’re beyond having kids.

“Now, adopting kids, that’s a whole other thing. That’s not out of my realm one day to do. Even though I’m 49, I still feel like I’m 25, like I just arrived in Hollywood. I mean, I’m always hustling to try to get my next job… I’m just not grounded. I’m always off to somewhere for some length of time.”

John, who has been dating ‘10’ star Bo since 2002, says if the couple did ever decide to adopt he would want them to be married because he thinks it’s the best environment to raise children.

He told ‘Access Hollywood’, “I’m not against marriage, but I think it’s the right thing to do if you’re gonna have a family. If you’re gonna have kids, you should ultimately be married. Nothing against people who aren’t, but I think it’s a good thing to do to give that kid a foundation that feels stable, not just mommy and daddy are boyfriend and girlfriend, but we’re beyond that, I think.”

Katherine Heigl’s Motherhood Dilemma

Katherine Heigl says it’s difficult being a working mother.

The 31-year-old actress, who is married to Josh Kelley – found it hard to leave her adopted daughter, 18-month-old Naleigh, to go off and shoot her latest film ‘Killers’, which also stars Ashton Kutcher.

Speaking at the European premiere in London’s Leicester Square last night, June 9, Katherine told BANG Showbiz, “It’s difficult but it’s like any working mom I think you have to make some compromises. It’s easier said than done, but I knew that I wanted to keep working, I love what I do but it’s really hard to leave her – I feel horrible.”

But when quizzed on whether she would like to add to her brood and adopt again, she nodded and said, “I hope to, yes.”

Katherine also explained why she plans to stick to acting and never attempt to direct a big screen blockbuster.

She said, “I’m very grateful for the opportunity to produce but as far as directing – I can’t imagine I’d ever do that. Because even at this stage, 20 years into it, I still don’t really understand how that works and how all that part happens.”

Russell Brand and Katy Perry Want Little Justin Beiber

Russell Brand and Katy Perry want their own little Justin Bieber.

The couple, who got engaged in December, are big fans of the teen singing sensation, and have joked they even have a plan to grow their own version of him.

Comedian Russell, 34, told E! TV show ‘Daily 10’, “Me and my fiancee love him. We want our own Justin Bieber. We can’t have the actual one because he’s busy with his work.

“I understand he procreates by laying eggs in the sea and then we can fertilise these eggs and have our own Justin Biebers. We could grow Justin Bieber in a jar like sea monkeys.”

The ‘Get Him to the Greek’ star is even jealous of 16-year-old Justin’s other celebrity fans.

When told that Kim Kardashian had “Bieber fever”, Russell joked, “What? My little Justin?

“Keep away, Kim. I’ll neutralise you with my doctor mitts!”

Though Katy is a self-confessed Bieber fan, she has been less kind when it comes to fellow pop star Lady Gaga, following the eccentric singer’s religiously symbolic video for her latest single ‘Alejandro’ – which the Catholic church has dubbed “decadent” and “abusive”.

Katy, who parents Mary and Keith Hudson are both Christian pastors, tweeted, “Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.”

A police report recorded after Shawn King’s May 28th drug overdose has been obtained by TMZ and posted.

Shawn King’s father called 911 that day to report that King was breathing but that he was unable to wake her at their home in Provo, Utah. Police in Provo say two handwritten notes were found at the scene, and that one of the notes indicated that King wished to be buried in Provo. Among the prescriptions by at the home of Larry King’s wife: Compro, Prometrium, Clonazepam, Ambien, Klonopin, Subutex, Cymbalta and Lyrica.

Subutex is commonly used to treat narcotic addiction. Cymbalta is an anti-depressant, Lyrica is a seizuretreatment … Klonopin and Clonazepam are anti-anxiety meds.

Both Kings filed for divorce in April, but have recently stated that they are attempting to work on their marriage and reconcile.

Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper Gearing Up For Marriage

Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper are reportedly preparing to get married.

The ‘Bridget Jones’ actress spent two hours looking through rails of lavish wedding dresses in West Hollywood’s Caroline Herrera boutique, before being photographed leaving with a bag of garments.

When asked if she was getting married, Renee only grinned at a photographer.

A source told the New York Post newspaper, “She just kept smiling when asked if she is getting married.”

The couple have been dating since last year, and have both been married before.

The 41-year-old screen beauty was previously wed to singer Kenny Chesney, who she married in a secret ceremony on the Caribbean island of St. John in May 2005, but their union was annulled in December the same year.

Bradley’s first marriage to actress Jennifer Esposito was also short-lived. The pair tied the knot in December 2006, but Jennifer filed for divorce just four months later in April 2007.

Rumours Renee and Bradley are planning to wed were further fueled this week when they met with the movie hunk’s parents Charlie and Gloria for lunch at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York.
