Star Trek and Avatar actress Zoe Saldana is heading to the alter with news today that she is engaged to actor Keith Britton.

The pair, which had been together for 10 years, announced their engagement via a publicist, with no further details being available.

Zoe Saldana has been an a role lately, with headline appearances in smash hits Star Trek and Avatar, as well as appearances in The Losers and Death at a Funeral. She next appears on screen Takers.

The lesser known Keith Britton has appeared in Cold Case and As the World Turns.

Alexander Skarsgard loves being “naked”.

The ‘True Blood’ actor is not prudish about stripping off, and thinks he enjoys freeing himself of clothes because of his Scandinavian upbringing.

Alexander, who was born in Stockholm, said in an interview with Popeater.com, “I’m not a prude. I’m from Sweden, and it’s different there. I love to be naked. It’s kind of liberating.”

Being comfortable with nudity is a must for the 33-year-old heartthrob, who plays sexy Viking vampire Eric Northman in the HBO television series.

He has already appeared naked on screens many times and been involved in numerous sexually charged scenes with a number of his female co-stars.

But the actor, who is reportedly dating 27-year-old actress Kate Bosworth, insists he is not willing to bare all for no reason.

He said, “If it makes sense, I’ll do nudity, and it’s made sense every single time I’m naked on the show.”

And Alexander is equally comfortable stripping off in front of men.

He revealed, “I’ve got a very, very graphic scene coming up [in ‘True Blood’] that I shot with a man.”

Kim Kardashian is set to be immortalized as a waxwork model.

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is to get her own statue at world famous museum Madame Tussauds, in New York.

Kim – who has been dropping hints on her website, even posting a mysterious picture of her bottom being measured – revealed, “I’ve been keeping you guys in the dark about my big announcement and teasing you with my #karwax tweets… but I can finally reveal that I am getting my own wax figure at Madame Tussauds in NYC!!!! (sic)”

The 28-year-old beauty, who is based in Beverly Hills, is very excited about her wax model and especially the fact it will be located at the New York branch of Madame Tussauds, which has attractions all over the world, including London and Shanghai.

Kim, who is famous for her shapely rear said, “This is one of the greatest honors ever and I am so thrilled and excited. Now I will never have to leave NYC… I’ve officially gone bi-coastal! LOL (sic)”

The completed model will reportedly see ‘Kim’ positioned in a red carpet hand-on-hip pose and wearing a tight Herve Leger dress and peep toe heels.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary with a romantic meal.

The couple, who have a 23-month-old daughter, Sunday Rose, together, marked the special occasion last week by dining out at exclusive Nashville restaurant Flyte and onlookers say they couldn’t keep their hands off each other during the evening.

Simon Cowell is planning a couples-only dinner party for his fiance.

The music mogul wants to show everyone in his life how much make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy, who he got engaged to in February, means to him, and his friends are calling the plans a “big deal”.

A source close to the couple told the Daily Mirror newspaper, “To help make her feel at home, Simon’s agreed she can help him host an exclusive dinner party with only their closest friends invited. It’s a big deal for Simon as he doesn’t embrace domesticity easily.”

Britney Spears is reportedly set to be quizzed by social workers over allegations of child abuse.

The ‘Toxic’ singer – who has two sons, Sean Preston, four, and three-year-old Jayden James, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline – has been accused by her former bodyguard Fernando Flores of being an unfit mother, beating one of the tots with a belt and giving them both foods they were allergic to.

A source told The Sun newspaper, “Britney doesn’t mean to be a bad mother. But Flores feels she has so many issues she can’t be trusted around her boys.

“He claims the first really shocking incident was when she came marching into the pool house at her mansion and demanded his belt.

“He handed it over but then followed her into the main house and claims he witnessed the alleged incident.”

Britney, 28, strongly denies claims she mistreated her young boys in late March or early April.

They currently split their time between her home in Beverly Hills, California, and their father Kevin’s house.

Child protection agency workers apparently tried to question her about the allegations last week, but Britney had already left her home to spend a few days in Los Angeles.

Former policeman Fernando, 29, recently quit his job as the pop star’s minder, after accusing Britney of sexually harassing him by continually walking around naked in his presence.

A friend of his said, “Working for Britney is tough. She’s a nightmare to deal with and her emotions are totally out of control. She runs round the house naked and yelling at staff.”

The couple are now planning to spend a few more days with friends and family in Rome before spending time traveling around Italy on their honeymoon.

The actress added, “After that, we’re looking forward to a happy, fruitful life together.”

Mena recently revealed she had been desperate to find a wedding dress which will cover her tattoos as she wanted to respect the concert producer’s religious family.

She said, ‘I think it would be considerate to Simone’s family to have my tattoos covered, since there are two Catholic nuns on his mother’s side of the family.’

She said, “When I was pregnant, a few of my friends told me that their babies slept in bed with them. I remember thinking how crazy that was. Then I started reading up on it and decided it was something I actually wanted to try.

“I know that having Mason sleep in my bed might be a controversial topic. But I have to be honest, I just love that time. I especially love how when you sleep with your baby, you breathe together on the same pattern.

“I’ve been able to bond with Mason so much more. Even if I’ve had a busy day, I always look forward to every night and us spending time together when we sleep.”

She added in her blog for People.com, “I really have mixed feelings about the whole topic. Some people say co-sleeping for the first two years is good, but now people are telling me the longer he sleeps in the bed with us, the harder it will be to get him to sleep on his own down the line.

“Of course, ultimately I want what is best for Mason, so I’m really battling with it right now.”

Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t think he would have been an actor if he hadn’t grown up in Los Angeles.

The ‘Inception’ actor, who started appearing in TV shows and commercials aged 13, insists he was only able to follow his dream because he lived so close to where many major movies are made, making it easier for him to attend auditions.

He said, “My earliest memories were of wanting to be an actor, and ironically I lived in LA but never felt like I could be a part of that club, so it was merely the fact I was in such close proximity to be able to go to auditions after school.

“Certainly I think if we had lived in a different state then we wouldn’t have had the means to be able to go and live in Los Angeles.”

The 35-year-old star insists he is still thankful for his success and would never take anything for granted.

He added in an interview with US TV show ‘Entertainment Tonight’, “I got immersed in this world and feel extremely lucky every day, I feel like I hit the lottery and I don’t take it for granted.”

Leonardo, who is dating model Bar Rafaeli, loves being able to relax with his family and friends, even though his celebrity status is a source of ridicule for them.

He said, “What keeps me grounded is my friends and family and being able to joke around and have a sense of humour. They laugh at me about everything and I give it right back. Being able to have the sanctity of people you know and love and trust really makes you feel safe in this environment.”
