The sad life of Diff’rent Strokes actor Gary Coleman looks to be getting some depressing footnotes as his estranged ex-wife Shannon Price and his estranged parents, whose alleged looting of Coleman’s fortune is a plot point of popular Broadway musical Avenue Q, battle over the final resting place of the child star’s body.

Coleman sued his adoptive parents, Willie and Edmonia Coleman, in 1993. He was awarded $1.3m after a judge ruled that the Colemans has misappropriated his earnings while he was still a minor. Coleman’s parents countersued for defamation. The status of Coleman’s relationship with former wife Price at the time of his death remains unclear, although they were living together at the time of his death.

Price has come under significant media scrutiny after the diminutive actor’s early death, and a 911 call was widely published wherein Coleman’s wife repeatedly refuses the 911 operator’s suggestions that she assist him as he lay injured and bleeding of injuries that would ultimately lead to his death on the floor of their shared home. Price said:

“I had my husband go make me some food downstairs, he just got home and I heard this big bang,” Price says in the call. “His head is bloody. There’s blood all over the floor. Send someone quick because I don’t know if he’s going to, like, be alive.”

The operator requested that Price render aid to her ex-husband or check on his status, but she declined several times, claiming that the sight of blood would cause her to have a seizure.

TMZ says Price is now feuding with the Colemans over how to handle Gary’s remains:

Shielia Erickson, the rep for Gary’s ex-wife, tells us Shannon Price is fighting with Gary’s parents, so the funeral can’t go forward.

Shielia claims Shannon is the executor of Gary’s will and has the power to make all decisions regarding the funeral and Gary’s estate.

In a roundtable discussion about the production of reality shows, Jersey Shore creator SallyAnn Salsano, herself a native of Jersey Shore twin Long Island, called the set of the show a “herpes nest” and admitted to dispensing the herpes medication Valtrex “like M&Ms.”

Salsano didn’t confirm whether any of the show’s “stars” are infected, but said:

Salsano: I do a full medical but I also do a lot of STD stuff.

(Dr. Drew) Pinsky: The network requires me to do stuff with my patients that has no relevance to anything. Like everyone on the set has to take (herpes medication) Valtrex.

Salsano: We hand it out like M&Ms! “Hey kids, it’s time for Valtrex!” It’s like a herpes nest. They’re all in there mixing it up.

Salsano did say that she “cares” about all the participants on the show, and even said she has Snooki’s parents’ numbers in her cell phone. The reality show creator also struck out at people who critique the “low culture” aspects of the MTV hit:

Salsano: I got a lot of heat when “Jersey Shore” came out. All the papers were pissy. But you know what? You can be as mad as you want. I was raised on Long Island, my dad is a sanitation worker, he drives a triple black Cadillac. Right now he’s sitting in his recliner chair with a Yankees symbol. Those are my people! So they’re like, “You’re being a racist.” I’m like, “F*** you guys, this is my life. I went to the Jersey shore. You know, I was Snooki. I made a ton of mistakes and got my ass kicked in a bar.” It is what it is.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is happy being alone.

The ‘Ghost Whisperer’ actress, who split with boyfriend Jamie Kennedy in March after a year of dating, is currently not romantically involved with anyone and insists she is enjoying the single life, even though it is a new experience for her.

She said, “My love life is just me, and I’m very happy about it. I’ve not done the single thing very much, as you know, and I’m happy to do it.”

Jennifer now enjoys lavishing her time and attention on herself, and is maintaining her fondness for genital crystal decoration, dubbed vajazzling.

She told E! Online, “I vajazzle more for myself, so I have that secret sparkle that no one knows about.”

The 31-year-old star is currently using her new single lifestyle as inspiration for her new book – the follow up to her love guide ‘The Day I Shot Cupid’ – as she wants to teach people to boost their self-esteem outside of relationships.

She said of the new book, “It’s going to be about loving yourself.

“I figured out in the last one I wrote a lot about how to get a man to fall in love with you but not very much about how, if you don’t love yourself, that’s not going to happen.”

Jennifer’s appreciation of her single status has been a gradual process as she recently admitted she prefers being in a relationship.

She said, “I don’t like to go out to clubs and party. I’m not into, ‘Let’s go out with one guy on a Monday and another guy on a Wednesday,’ that’s just not me. I’m a relationship kind of girl. I like a twosome. Some people get excited about being single. I don’t.”

Robbie Williams uses sex to keep himself trim.

The 36-year-old singer, who has famously battled with his weight throughout his career, insists his new toned physique is all down to bedroom antics with fiancee Ayda Field.

When questioned about his new buff body, Robbie said, “You’re talking abut sex now. Yes we do it, we do it, we really do it!”

However, it isn’t just sex that keeps him slim, the ‘Bodies’ singer also finds the time to run every day, and has used his celebrity-filled Soccer Aid charity event, which takes place on Sunday, June 6, as a target for getting fitter.

He told the Daily Star newspaper, “I’ve been running six or seven miles a day, playing a couple of 90 minute games a week, so I am knackered.

“I don’t think I’ve lost weight but I have toned up. It’s been a good process and it’s been great to have something to aim for.”

Robbie isn’t the only celebrity who uses to sex to look good, ‘Shrek Forever After’ star Cameron Diaz also credits it as keeping her youthful.

The 37-year-old beauty said, “I don’t want to look 25 again. The fountain of youth for me, let’s see. I guess it’s exercise, healthy diet, lots of water, lots of laughter, lots of sex – yes, sex, we need that as human beings. It’s healthy, it’s natural, it’s what we are here to do!”

Lindsay Lohan has passed two drug tests.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress, who was ordered by a court to agree to random screening under the conditions of her recent probation hearing for driving under the influence (DUI) convictions, is said to be doing well in her bid to stay sober.

A source told RadarOnline.com, “She is clear of illegal substances. She has already taken two tests and passed both.”

The 23-year-old star, who was also told she must wear an alcohol-monitoring SCRAM bracelet, has impressed her parents with her bid to stay “on the straight and narrow”.

Her father Michael Lohan, who has repeatedly claimed the actress needs treatment for prescription drug addiction said, “I am happy for her. She’s on the straight and narrow. I hope it continues.”

Michael and ex-wife Dina Lohan, who have feuded bitterly over their famous daughter, appeared before a judge in New York yesterday, June 3, and claim their ongoing dispute over child support for their three kids is now resolved, leaving them to focus on helping Lindsay.

Michael told X17 Online, “I’m extremely happy with the outcome. I felt it was time to put my feelings aside and do what was right. Dina and I have entered into an agreement. I hope this is a stepping stone for us to be united, not only financially, but as parents. With this behind us, we can now focus on Lindsay.”

Wesley Snipes is coping “very well” with the prospect of being sent to jail.

The ‘Blade’ actor, who was sentenced to three years in prison for wilful failure to file federal income tax returns in April 2008 but remains free on bail to appeal the conviction, insists he is an “eternal optimist” who doesn’t worry about what the future holds.

When asked how he will cope if he does go to prison, he said, “Very well. I have a great spiritual foundation, I am an eternal optimist, and I don’t always buy into the illusions.

“I am in the illusion business, so I can decipher what’s real and what’s not real, and keep stable.”

The 47-year-old actor also claimed some of the things that get written about him are “crazy”, but he would rather not sue as it costs too much money.

He explained to Britain’s FHM magazine, “The things they write about me in the press, events that never happened, it’s crazy. But people believe it.

“It wastes too much money. I’d rather buy books.”

When the actor was initially condemned by Judge William Terrell Hodges in April 2008, the actor blamed his failure to pay $2.8 million in unreturned tax bills from 1999 to 2001 on a lack of education.

He said, “I am an idealistic, naive, passionate, truth-seeking, spiritually motivated artist, unschooled in the science of law and finance. I am well-intentioned, but miseducated”.

Sean Penn admits his ex-wife Robin Wright Penn is a “ghost” to him.

The screen legend hasn’t kept in touch with his former spouse – who he started dating in 1989, and married in 1996 – since they divorced last year citing “irreconcilable differences”.

He told Vanity Fair magazine, “She is a ghost to me now. We spent all those years together… Now she’s just gone.”

Despite finding it strange to adjust to life without Robin – who he has daughter Dylan, 19, and 16-year-old son Hopper with – the actor admits his life as a single man has allowed him to dedicate more time to doing humanitarian work.

He explained, “I was for 20 years in a relationship with Robin and 18 years with children. I didn’t have time to commit to anything – for real – in places like Iraq, except to denounce the war. But now I’m single. I can lend a hand.”

Sean has spent a lot of time in Caribbean nation Haiti following the two devastating earthquakes the area suffered earlier this year.

The actor has now vowed to continue helping the Haitian citizens as they rebuild their lives.

He added, “There is no exit for me until there is more life than death. I can always see light in any situation. It’s just the way I’m made. I’m capable of making foolish commitments. Of being a fool. But I can see the light very clearly in terms of the ‘big picture’ for Haiti.”

Cameron Diaz went on a secret lunch date with Alex Rodriguez.

The ‘Knight and Day’ actress, whose ex-boyfriends include Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto and Matt Dillon, was reportedly whisked out for a romantic meal at the baseball player’s favourite New York City restaurant, Serafina, where they even shared food.

Although the pair were joined on their secluded table by one of the sportsman’s pals, Cameron and Alex even shared their food.

A source said, “When Cameron walked in she seemed super cool, relaxed and really happy. She was wearing a summer dress and looked really good.

“Where they were sitting … it wasn’t completely secluded. But he clearly wanted his privacy. “He has the same thing every time he’s there and it’s a very special meal the kitchen makes especially for him. She had a few bites of his meal.”

This is the first time Alex, nicknamed A-Rod, has been spotted enjoying dinner at the star-studded Italian restaurant with a woman since he brought his ex-girlfriend Kate Hudson there.

The restaurant source added to HollywoodLife.com, “Since Kate I’ve never seen him with anyone. He and Kate used to sit in the front window and the paparazzi would have a field day.”

This is not the first time Cameron and Alex have been seen together.

In February it was reported the actress was “grinding” against him while dancing at a party.
