Amanda Seyfried believes in destiny.

The actress, who is currently taking a break from her relationship with Dominic Cooper, met the actor on the set of their movie ‘Mamma Mia!’ while he was still in a relationship and claims she has always believed that love happens in the most unexpected times and circumstances.

She said, “Love knows no boundaries. There’s not a time or place for it – it can come at the wrong time or the right time, it can end and start again. I think if you really love somebody you’ll do anything to make it work. And if it doesn’t work then you stop pushing and it’ll come back. That’s what my mom always says. Everything happens for a reason, if it’s meant to be it’s meant to be.”

“I don’t think everything’s written in stone but some things can’t be explained. When it comes to love, you know, if you feel something go with it. You can’t deny how you feel about anything. That’s the truth of it.”

The 24-year-old beauty admits she was “crazy” to wait for the British actor to make a decision on whether they had a future together, but doesn’t think she could have handled their situation in any other way.

She added to the Scotsman newspaper, “I just waited and waited and waited until he figured his s**t out, you know. I think that’s crazy but clearly it was meant to be, it was meant to happen. I was meant to wait for him and I did.”

Simon Cowell snuck two bottles of beer into a restaurant last night, June 6.

The music mogul stunned fellow diners when his bodyguard passed him two bottles of Sapporo Japanese beer as he sat down to eat with ex-girlfriend Jackie St. Claire and Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden, his fellow judges on UK TV talent show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, at upmarket London eatery Mr Chows.

An onlooker said, “No one could believe it when Simon sat there and got out his own beer. After all, he is meant to be one of the richest men in the UK!

“It didn’t seem to bother him that other diners might have thought it was a bit strange and he sat there happily sipping away.”

The group were celebrating Simon’s win at the television BAFTA awards, where his TV contributions were recognized with a Special Award, while ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ received an honour in the Entertainment category.

Simon has previously admitted he prefers to shun drinks on offer in restaurants in favour of his own choice of beer, which he travels with in the boot of his car.

The former ‘American Idol’ judge insists on having the special drinks to hand after undertaking a food intolerance test and discovering the yeast in regular beer makes him sluggish.

He previously admitted, “I’ve got a crate of it in the back of the car. Literally.”

With Angelina Jolie busy adopting the world, the role of buxom adventurer Lara Croft in the next Tomb Raider movie is up for grabs.

And blow me down with a feather, famed thespian Kim Kardashian appears to be in with a chance, with “Hollywood insiders” claiming negotiations are ongoing between Kardashian’s people and Paramount Pictures. I’m perversely looking forward to Kardashian’s attempts at deploying a cut-glass English accent.

The next Tomb Raider movie will reportedly represent a “reboot” for the franchise, with the next film featuring “a far more comic strip version of Lara which would be shot in 3D and aimed at a teen audience.”

Kardashian is supposedly taking acting classes in case she is the next Lara, which is a bit like taking fine art lessons in preparation for finger-painting, but hell, it’s her money.

Kanye West’s car has allegedly been involved in a major collision.

The Porsche Panamera, which the rapper’s cousin was reportedly given permission to drive, crashed into an unoccupied house at around 4am on Saturday, June 5, morning near Diamond Head in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Eyewitness Chris Cooper was the first person at the scene of the collision.

He said, “There was just a tremendous crash. As if a small building were coming down. I looked over and saw the car impaled in the garage.

“I walked over to see if anyone was dead or people in the car because I could smell liquids and I could hear them draining and no one was there.”

According to reports, witnesses told police they saw three men running away from the scene of the crash and the vehicle was reported stolen shortly after the incident occurred.

The ‘All Falls Down’ hitmaker, who is currently recording his new album in Hawaii, was not on the island at the time of the collision.

It is believed that no one was hurt in the accident.

Sandra Bullock kissed Scarlett Johansson on stage last night, June 6 .

The brunette actress, who recently split from her husband Jesse James over claims he had cheated on her several times, locked lips with the blonde beauty whilst accepting the Generation Award at the MTV Movie Awards in Universal City, California yesterday, before admitting she was desperate for her life to return to normal.

After grabbing Scarlett, 25, in a passionate embrace, Sandra quipped to the crowd, “Now that we have done that, can we please go back to normal – because therapy is really expensive. Go back to making fun of me, I don’t care, it’s time to get back to normal.”

The 45-year-old actress went in for the smooch after flirting with Scarlett, who is married to Sandra’s ‘The Proposal’ love interest Ryan Reynolds, on stage.

She explained, “Well, since Ryan was working, I wanted to be here in his place when you guys won Best Kiss.”

Sandra replied, “That’s so nice. But we didn’t win.”

Scarlett responded, “Right… well… I thought you should have won… it was a great kiss.”

The Hollywood beauties then shuffled towards each other, with Sandra cupping Scarlett’s face as she went in for the smooch – much to the amusement of the star-studded audience.

This was not the first time Sandra, who is raising adopted four-month-old son Louis alone following her separation from the motorcycle enthusiast, spoke out about her private life this weekend.

Sandra looked flawless at the Spike TV’s annual Guys Choice Awards event in Culver City, California on Saturday, June 5, where she took to the stage to be presented the Troops Choice Award for Entertainer of The Year.

Although thrilled to accept the award, Sandra was uncertain whether she was honoured with the prize because for her entertaining personality, or her personal problems.

She quipped, “Let’s be honest here, just for a moment. We’re all going to be honest, right?

“Did I win this because of the spectacular I.E.D. (improvised explosive device) explosion that became my personal life?”

The Spike TV awards will be aired on June 20.

Marvin Isley, who played bass for the Isley Brothers in the 70s and 80s, died in Chicago today at the age of 56.

Isley, who was “too young” to have played with the band in the 60s when they had hits like “Twist & Shout” and just regular “Shout,” became a part of the Isley Brothers in the early 70s:

In 1973, though, he and brother Ernie and cousin Jasper joined the group for the career-revamping album Three + Three, adding an infusion of youthful rhythm that allowed the Isleys to transition into the new decade.

Marvin Isley left in the 80s to form Isley-Jasper-Isley, but returned in 1991 and played with the band until 1997, when complications due to diabetes forced him to retire. (He eventually would have both legs amputated because of his condition.) He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992, as were the other Isley brothers. No information has yet been released about specific cause of death, nor have funeral or memorial services been announced.

Tom Cruise has been taking dance lessons from his wife’s choreographer.

The 47-year-old actor teamed up with Jennifer Lopez to perform a comic routine at last night’s, June 6, MTV Movie Awards in the guise of his ‘Tropic Thunder’ character Les Grossman and revealed his spouse Katie Holmes had helped him with his extensive preparations for the sketch.

Speaking after the performance, he said, “I worked with Katie’s choreographer, Tyce Diorio.

“Katie loved it. She was there while we were working on it. You know, I can dance a bit and we rehearsed, and my wife’s a dancer and so I like dancing.”

The routine saw Tom being spanked by the ‘Back Up Plan’ star, who stopped him returning the gesture, and ended with the ‘Knight and Day’ actor trying and failing to do the splits.

Tom admitted he had a great time portraying the foul-mouthed, fat, balding producer in a series of sketches at the awards, which took place at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles.

He added, “It was a lot of fun – it was great. It was a blast!”

Former drummer for British rock band Stereophonics and BBC Wales presenter Stuart Cable was found dead early this morning in his home in Wales.

A police spokeswoman confirmed the musician’s death to press:

”South Wales Police can confirm the sudden death of a 40-year-old man at an address in Llwydcoed, Aberdare, at around 5.30am today.

”Cause of death has not yet been established, however, there are no suspicious circumstances at this stage. Next of kin have been informed.”

Cable played with Stereophonics until he was asked to leave the band in 2003 due to lack of focus and interference from other engagements. He formed the band “Killing for Company” and was set to play a gig with them this weekend at a rock festival.

Cable’s 79-year-old mother Mabel commented to reporters about the news of her son’s sudden death:

”Stuart has travelled all over the world with the band and I have worried myself silly,” she told the Western Mail newspaper in Cardiff.

”He is now settled down and then this has happens. It has not sunk in yet.”

Cheryl Cole is “totally in love” with Derek Hough.

The singer, who separated from husband Ashley Cole in February amid claims he cheated on her, has grown increasingly close to the dancer, who she worked with on her ‘Parachute’ video, and Derek’s family say the British beauty is the “girl of his dreams”.

His stepfather, Aaron Nelson, said, “For Derek, this is true love. There is no doubt about it. He is totally in love with her. And it’s easy to see why. She is one hell of a girl. Very talented and incredibly beautiful.

“I know Derek is in love with her because he has told me he is in love with her and I think she feels the same way about him. She is the girl of his dreams and he is desperate to be with her. He would follow her to the ends of the Earth.”

Aaron also laughed off speculation that Derek is gay, insisting he is ready to “settle down” with Cheryl, who has also been romantically linked to Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, after the pair jet off on a romantic break together.

He added to the Sunday Mirror newspaper, “People think he is gay because he is a dancer, but that boy is about as far from being gay as you can get. He is a stud. Women go crazy for him.

“Derek is in London at the start of a five-week break. But he won’t be spending all his time there. He and his new lady are going off on a romantic holiday. I can’t say where as he’d kill me.

“He does not want the paparazzi following him there. But it’s somewhere very nice. After that, who knows what is going to happen? But this girl is very special to Derek and he is at a point in his life where he is ready to settle down. He is ready to be in love and make that commitment.”

Gavin Rossdale’s relationship with his eldest daughter is “blossoming”.

The rocker was revealed to be the father of model Daisy Lowe in 2004 following a brief fling with her mother Pearl Lowe, and though they had minimal contact for years, the 21-year-old British beauty admits she has grown increasingly close to her dad – who also has sons Kingston, four, and 21-month-old Zuma with wife Gwen Stefani – in recent months.

Daisy said, “I now have a really good relationship with my father.

“It’s been blossoming for the past year, but it really happened over Christmas when he was here for a month. We got to spend time together. He’s got two beautiful kids who I really adore and his wife is gorgeous.

“We’re working on being good mates. I think he’s an intelligent, sweet guy.”

Daisy dated music producer Mark Ronson, 34, for several months in 2008 and admits she was attracted to him because she wanted to be “spoilt”.

She explained to Britain’s Esquire magazine, “I was dating Mark because I decided I wanted to be spoilt a little bit. IT was really interesting dating an older person and he taught me a lot.”
