Pamela Anderson’s Kids Don’t Spend Much Time With Their Dad

Pamela Anderson admits her children don’t spend a lot of time with their father.

The former ‘Baywatch’ babe has two sons, Brandon, 14, and 12-year-old Dylan, with ex-husband Tommy Lee but says she takes responsibility for the majority of the parenting as the Motley Crue rocker isn’t really a hands-on father.

She said, “No, they don’t spend a lot of time with their father. I think they will spend more time with him when they are older, but Tommy is eternally 16.”

“It’s not that I don’t like them being with him. He spends as much time with them as he can. I just came to the realisation that our relationship… it just is what it is.”

Although they are no longer together, Pamela – who has also been married to Kid Rock and Rick Salomon – says she will always love Tommy and hasn’t ruled out getting back with him.

She told Fabulous magazine, “I have tortured myself over it for years and was devastated and depressed for much of the last 15 years about that relationship. It’s mostly about the kids. I think I’ve just tried to attach myself to anybody who’d create a family, but the people I attracted weren’t really the fairytale I planned. I think I’d just rather be alone and take care of my kids and wait it out. Something will happen one day. If not, my kids will look after me.

“Tommy? Life’s not over yet. Of course we love each other. But we don’t have to live together. Romance is tragic, so let’s leave it. My parents are still together and madly in love.”

Khloe Kardashian’s New Bedroom Hobby

Khloe Kardashian and her husband have a new bedroom hobby, they play Monopoly.

The reality TV star, who wed Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Lamar Odom in September 2009, has revealed the pair stay up late in bed challenging each other at a computer version of the famous property buying board game.

The ‘Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami’ star said, “Lamar and I just got iPads and we play Monopoly on them all night and day. We lie in bed and play Monopoly.”

The 26-year-old beauty loves playing games so much she and Lamar have started having a weekly “game night” so they can compete with their friends.

She added, “The other night we had a game date night with everyone. It was so fun! It is a new thing we want to try and do once a week now. That’s how much fun we all had. I love to win, but I am not a sore loser. Still, winning is my goal in anything I do.”

Khloe also admitted her love of taking financial ‘risks’ in Monopoly is mirrored by her real life business decisions.

She added to America’s OK! magazine, “I think we all take risks all of the time, but my last major risk was last week. I bought into a company and when you invest your money, you never know what is going to happen. It’s always a risk. And not too many people like taking risks with money.”

Leighton Meester is a Text Addict

Leighton Meester is a “text addict”.

The 24-year-old actress admits sending short messages from her phone to her friends is her biggest pastime when she is working on US teen drama ‘Gossip Girl’ and she astonishes people with the speed in which she can type out a note.

She is quoted by gossip website Absolute Now as saying, “I am very fast. That’s mainly because I text so much. I am a text addict. It is often what I end up doing when I’m on set and have to be really quiet – I text. I have gotten really, really good and it is really sad! I use all those abbreviations too.”

Leighton, who plays Blair Waldorf in ‘Gossip Girl,’ recently admitted she quit school early because she was bullied over her love of acting.

She said, “I was a bit of a goofball. I wanted to be a counselor, help people, but then I discovered this other side to people.

“I was easy to pick on because of my acting. I realised that there are a lot of people out there who just aren’t very nice.

“I stopped going to school – I was a bit rebellious and just didn’t go. My mother was fine about it.”

Samantha Ronson Defends Lindsay Lohan From Joan Rivers

Samantha Ronson has defended Lindsay Lohan after a scathing online attack by Joan Rivers.

The DJ, who was in an on-off 16-month relationship with the troubled actress from the start of 2008, took to her twitter account to support her former lover after the 77-year-old comedienne left a series of comments laughing at the ‘Mean Girls’ star’s personal problems and upcoming jail sentence.

Samantha wrote, “Hey Joan Rivers – you have collagen older than Lindsay, pick on someone your own age, oh wait, I guess people that old can’t hear. #bully (sic)”

Lindsay, 24, later thanked her former girlfriend for sticking up for her, tweeting: “@samantharonson thank you ;) I love yams x (sic)”

Last Tuesday July 6, Lindsay was sentenced to a 90-day jail term, followed by 90 days in rehab for violating the probation terms of her 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) charge.

Since the hearing, it emerged Lindsay had “F**k You” written in tiny handwriting on one of her nails as she sat in front of Judge Marsha Revel.

In response to this, Joan tweeted, “Lindsay Lohan had ‘F**k You’ painted on her nails. What people don’t know is that the judge had ‘Eat me you party skank,’ painted on hers. (sic)”

This followed a number of jokes she had made at Lindsay’s expense.

She wrote, “Lindsay Lohan said she wouldn’t mind being under oath because she thought Oath was a Norwegian ski instructor.

“Lindsay Lohan is so dumb. Her idea of being sworn in is cursing at the judge.

“I was just reading about the new Lindsay Lohan diet, which is all liquid. 80 Proof.”

Lindsay is now due to begin her sentence at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, on July 20.

Comic author Harvey Pekar dead at 70

Harvey Pekar, creator of the American Splendor comic, has been found dead in his home.

Police responded to a call from Pekar’s wife at around 1am, and found his body “between a bed and a dresser.” Pekar’s wife said he was in “good spirits” when he retired to bed at around 4:30pm on Sunday. Cause of death was not immediately apparent, but the artist was suffering from prostate cancer, high blood pressure, depression and asthma in the years leading up to his death.

Pekar’s American Splendor comic chronicled his everyday life in a series of mundane jobs, and was adapted to become the 2003 film of the same name, starring Paul Giamatti. Pekar chronicled both his cancer diagnosis and his movie adaptation in two works titled Our Cancer Year and Our Movie Year, respectively.

An autopsy is planned, but no plans have yet been announced for a funeral or memorial services. Pekar was 70.

Tom Hanks Likes Kid’s Toys

Tom Hanks still plays with children’s toys.

The ‘Toy Story 3’ star, who is father to Colin, 32, Elizabeth, 28, Chester, 19, and 12-year-old Truman, played his own toys “out of existence” and so has now had to turn to those of his children.

Hanks, who voices the character of cowboy doll Woody in the animated Disney Pixar sequel, told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I play with toys all the time. I play with the little goofy things my kids still have like cars and planes and I hold them up and imagine the same stories I did when I was a kid.

“My own toys weren’t collectibles – they went through hard use so any toy I had was eventually pounded out of existence or they broke. They went the best way any toys can – they were played with out of existence.”

However, the 54-year-old actor also revealed he found it difficult to make friends as a child, something which has transferred to his adult life.

He said, “Since I moved around so much as a kid, I didn’t have an awful lot of friends. I don’t think it’s part of my make-up to completely open up.

“I can pretend to be very good friends with people then not have anything to do with them for 18 months.”

Janet Jackson Defends Dating Younger Men

Janet Jackson says there is nothing wrong with dating younger men.

The 44-year-old singer-and-actress says it’s her prerogative if she wants to go out with younger guys and insists an age gap shouldn’t get in the way of love.

Jane, the sister to the late Michael Jackson, has recently been linked to millionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana who is almost a decade younger than her.

Speaking about the criticism that comes with having a toy boy, Janet said, “It’s horrible. It’s really awful.

“And I have to believe it was a man that started that. Mother always raised us to believe that age was just a number. All of us – my sisters, my brothers – we’ll just tell you our ages because it’s all about where you are mentally and how you feel about yourself.”

Janet, who is the youngest of the Jackson family, believes she is more confident now then ever before.

The star, who was in a seven-year relationship with music producer Jermaine Dupri, added in an interview with Essence magazine, “There comes a time when you don’t give an ‘F’ what people say or think. You just do your thing because it’s finally about you and not in a selfish way but in a great way.”

Leona Lewis Finds Comfort in Animal Charity Work

Leona Lewis has thrown herself into animal charity work to get over her split from her boyfriend.

The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer spent the weekend at a bear sanctuary in Romania for the World Society for the Protection of Animals after completing her debut UK tour in a bid to try and take her mind off her childhood sweetheart Lou Al-Chamaa.

She told The Sun newspaper, “It’s amazing. The bears are magnificent. After a life of abuse they are finally happy.”

Leona and Lou, a former trainee electrician who was handed a job with record label Sony BMG as a talent scout after Leona became famous, announced the end of their 10-year relationship last month.

While the split was said to be amicable and blamed on their busy work schedules, it has since turned nasty with Lou demanding a $2.25 million payout for helping her become famous.

Lou claims to have filled in the form for her to audition for UK TV talent show ‘The X Factor’, which she went on to win, making her a global superstar who is worth millions.

A friend of Lou’s said, “He believes he has played a huge role in Leona’s success. They have been together for more than 10 years and he has encouraged her to fulfil her potential. He believes he has the rights of a common-law husband.”

Angelina Jolie’s Intimate Tattoo For Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie has got an intimate tattoo for Brad Pitt.

The ‘Salt’ actress, who raises six children with her partner of five years, already has an array of body art and has now added a heart on her inner thigh to show her love for the Hollywood heartthrob.

When asked about the inking, Angelina replied, “Um, it’s for Brad.”

Although she refused to give any more information on the design, she admitted it probably won’t be long before she does, admitting to MTV, “I’m bad at hiding secrets.”

Angelina also defended four-year-old daughter Shiloh’s sense of style after she recently revealed the blonde-haired tot likes to dress as a boy.

The 35-year-old screen beauty – who also has Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, five, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with Brad – said, “Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth.

“I think Shiloh is fascinating, the choices she is making. And I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not. I think that is just bad parenting.”

Speaking previously about Shiloh’s fashion sense, Angelina said,
“Shiloh, we feel, has Montenegro style. It’s how people dress there. She likes tracksuits, she likes regular suits. She likes to dress like a boy. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers.”

Mark Ronson’s Heavy Drinking Past

Mark Ronson used to drink a bottle of Jack Daniel’s a night.

The music producer – famed for his collaborations with Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen – admits he “regrets” his past heavy drinking because his memories of shows he has performed at went by too quickly.

He said, “I’d take a bottle of Jack Daniel’s on stage. A few weeks into the tour I was drinking a whole bottle a night during the shows.

“I do regret that now, because all of it seemed to go by so fast, and I’m not sure if that was down to the adrenaline or the Jack Daniel’s.”

The 34-year-old musician claims he wants to cut down on drinking when promoting his upcoming album ‘Record Collection’ because he isn’t that kind of person.

He said, “I’m going to try not to do that when I tour this album.

“I mean, I love Slash, he’s one of my heroes, but I don’t want to be him. That’s not who I am.”

Mark also reveals he is not a fan of the celebrity lifestyle, and is perplexed why his famous friends court attention.

He told Live, “I don’t know how Amy and Lily do it. I’ve been with them, seen it first-hand, and it’s not something I would want to go near. I couldn’t stand the idea of photographers standing outside my house, following me around. I can’t understand who on earth could really want that.”
