Socialite Paris Hilton may not have learned much after her World Cup dope bust- the heiress was reportedly caught with weed in her purse on her latest trip.

Hilton was popped for smoking a joint at a World Cup match on July 2nd, and according to AFP (via the New York Daily News), she evaded legal trouble again when she was found to be holding upon landing on the French island of Corsica:

Airport authorities on the French island of Corsica stopped her after she flew in from Paris on a private jet. They found less than a gram of cannabis in her purse, but did not charge her. She was later released, AFP reported.

Hilton took to her Twitter account to deny the accusations, first tweeting:

So sick of people making up rumors about me. The latest one about me is completely false too. Don’t believe what you read. Silly nonsense.

She later used TwitLonger to clarify:

Just to put an end to these rumors. The stories saying I have been arrested are completely false! I am having the best vacation of my life! What an amazing summer! The ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ star, who portrays Elizabeth Gilbert the movie about a woman who, after failing to fall pregnant, decides to travel the world, admits she will only accept film roles which are important enough to justify spending time away from her three children, twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, five, and three-year-old Henry.

Discussing her latest movie, Julia – who is married to cameraman Danny Moder – said, “I knew this project would be a huge undertaking, but I just feel that for me to leave home now that I’m a mother and go to work on something it really has to be epic. And this is epic!”

Julia admits she has honed her movie selection skills over the years, and instinctively knows whether it is something she wants to work on or not after just one glance of the script.

She explained, “It’s just a feeling I have the first time I read something. I just like it or I don’t. I turn the last page and I know whether I want to do it or not.”

The 42-year-old actress was immediately drawn to ‘Eat, Pray, Love’, because of the lead character’s courage and liberating behaviour.

She explained, “It’s based on a beautiful book, a great multilayered story of a woman of a certain age going through problems a lot of people can relate to. What she does is difficult, though ultimately liberating, and I think we all wish that one day we would feel a certain way about ourselves and really do something about it.”

Robert Shapiro, who announced he had officially agreed to take on the ‘Mean Girls’ actress’ case yesterday, July 16, has confirmed she will still go to prison on Tuesday, July 20, but he hopes to help her implement a “treatment approach” for her long term sobriety and wellbeing.

He said in an official statement, “I have agreed to represent Ms. Lohan on the condition that she complies with all of the terms of her probation, including a requirement of jail time that was imposed by Judge Marsha Revel.

“Ms. Lohan is suffering from a disease that I am all too familiar with. Hopefully, I can be of assistance to Ms. Lohan and Judge Revel in implementing a treatment approach recommended by medical professionals for Ms. Lohan’s long term recovery and sobriety.”

Earlier this month, Lindsay was sentenced to spend 90 days in prison, followed by 90 days in rehab, for violating her probation for her 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) charge.

The 24-year-old star checked into Pickford Lofts sober living house on Wednesday, July 14, which is owned by Shapiro.

The lawyer, who helped successfully defend O.J. Simpson in 1994, founded the centre in West Hollywood, California after he lost his son Brent to substance abuse.

Lindsay’s estranged father, Michael Lohan, admitted yesterday he doesn’t think a sober house is what his daughter needs to get well.

The blogger, who has previously made repeated accusations that his daughter is addicted to legal medications said, “I’m happy that she’s taking positive steps, but a sober house is not a rehab and it does not detox someone off prescription drugs. It serves no purpose other than staying clean off non-prescription drugs and alcohol. In Lindsay’s case, the prescription drugs are the problem.”

“Listen, I broke the rules just like everyone else does. I’m not an angel, I’m not a perfect person who doesn’t mess up, eat bad, not work out – I mean, I do all of those things. It’s just for the most part, when I’m working, I don’t feel like I have the choice.”

The 28-year-old beauty, who sticks to a strict diet and exercise regime while filming, loves drinking alcohol with her friends, but admits she is growing increasingly concerned with the damaging effects it has on her.

She explained to Glamour magazine, “I love to go out and dance with my girlfriends and have a couple of glasses of rose and enjoy myself. But I’m just more concerned about how bad I’m going to feel in the morning.

“Once the world starts to tilt, I know I should stop. Goldschlager is my ‘I had a terrible night on it and can never drink it again’ shot.”
