Spencer Pratt Chose Fame Over Heidi Montag

Spencer Pratt chose fame over his wife Heidi Montag.

The reality TV star,  who is currently in the process of splitting from the blonde beauty, believes they are not compatible as a couple as he loves being in the spotlight and she wants to lead a “calmer” life.

He said, “We love each other but I’m a famew***e and I’ll never grow out of it. Heidi knows that and doesn’t want that.

“I want every kind of press. She believes in bad press. There’s no way my love for fame and her love for puppies will every work out successfully. She just wants to hike and hang out and be calmer.

“She thought I’d burn out of this, but no. I’m still the same Spencer who went on ‘The Hills’ to be famous. I still need to do stunts and take cues from Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.”

The 26-year-old media personality also admitted he and Heidi had clashed constantly since they married in April 2009.

He told People magazine: “It’s been a constant battle since we got married. She would be like, ‘Are you really Tweeting that? Are you really doing that?’ ”

Despite being known for his confrontational ways, Spencer does enjoy quiet time and has taken up painting.

He said, “I’m an artist now. I have an easel and everything. I’m going for an art show and a gallery.”

Kelly Brook Not Looking For Love

Kelly Brook is not looking for love.

The brunette beauty has been romantically linked with ‘Glee’ actor Matthew Morrison since splitting from rugby star Danny Cipriani last month but the 30-year-old star’s mother Sandra Parsons insists her daughter is not ready to start dating again.

She said, “She has been pictured with other men but she’s not looking for love. She has not told me that she wants to see anyone else. They are just friends and that’s it. They just had a night out, that’s all.”

Since their 21-month romance ended, Danny has been spotted out with several famous woman, including ‘90210’ star Jessica Lowndes.

Kelly’s grandmother Ann Kelly admitted the model-and-presenter had been upset by the pictures but is now trying to move on.

Ann told the Daily Mirror newspaper, “She is not too happy about seeing Danny going around with other girls but she has to get on with her life.”

“Kelly says she just wants to enjoy life. I have seen her a few times since the split and she did struggle to start with but she’s been OK during the last few weeks.”

In order to get over the split, Kelly has been throwing herself into her career commitments to take her mind of her romantic woes.

Sandra added, “It’s been tough. Kelly is working every day, keeping busy, and keeping her mind off things. That’s her priority.”

Actor James Gammon dead at 70

As is often the case with a “character actor,” you may not know his name, but you’re probably familiar with James Gammon’s face or voice.

70-year-old Gammon, quite accurately albeit melodramatically described by Playbill.com as “rangy,” bewhiskered,” “gruff” and “folksy,” died on July 16th in Costa Mesa, California. The theater publication says that Gammon first made his mark in theatrical productions by Sam Shepard:

With his grizzled, weather-beaten face and hoarse voice, Mr. Gammon was a natural resident of the mythical and mourned American West Shepard used as the backdrop of many of his plays. Squinting under what seemed to be a never-setting Oklahoma sun, Mr. Gammon would alternately growl, mutter and bark his lines in such plays as Curse of the Starving Class, The Late Henry Moss, and the New York premieres of A Lie of the Mind and Simpatico… Spending most of the play rooted to a rotting couch, Mr. Gammon’s Dodge howled ineffectually as a gothic rural hell largely of his own making was disturbed by outside forces.

James Gammon’s cause of death was not disclosed. He is survived by two daughters and a wife.

Kylie Minogue Meets Her “Scrumptious” Nephew

Kylie Minogue has met her “scrumptious” nephew.

The ‘All the Lovers’ singer flew into Australia in the early hours of this morning, July 18, in order to spend time with sister Dannii Minogue, her partner Kris Smith and the couple’s 13-day-old baby Ethan.

Kylie tweeted, “Yes…yes…..YYYYEEESSS Baby Ethan is adorable, perfect and scrumptious!!! (sic)”

Dannii then took to her own twitter page, exclaiming, “TuneOfTheDay Love At First Sight. Auntie Kylie meets Ethan! (sic)”

Earlier this weekend, 38-year-old Dannii and Kris, 32, took the tot to the Melbourne branch of babywear store Mothercare and admitted they had enjoyed the shopping spree.

Kris tweeted: “First day out for the whole family, Dannii running up a storm in Mothercare.”

He also posted two pictures, one of the TV talent show judge posing with the baby’s pram and another of the sleeping tot.

He captioned the latter, “Sleeping peacefully, Ethan was amazing as always today… Such a good boy just like his dad ;-) .(sic)”

Dannii added, “We both went nuts!”

The Australian beauty also admitted she had bought the baby a pair of Ugg boots for the winter.

Stella McCartney Worries Children Will Get Too Posh

Stella McCartney worries her children will get “too posh”.

The 38-year-old fashion designer – whose parents, Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and his wife Linda sent her and her siblings to a local comprehensive school – has enrolled her eldest children Miller, five, and Bailey, three, in a private educational establishment but admits she would reconsider her decision if she thought their view of the world was being affected.

She explained, “It’s one of my biggest internal struggles – the whole schooling system in London and the fact that my kids are going to a posh school. It freaks me out.

“But it’s not realistic to live in the country at this stage, I’ve got a business in London. I beat myself up about it all the time.

“If at any stage it looks like they’re becoming total jerks and saying, ‘Hello mummy’ in posh voices instead of running in and just being their awful selves, then you have to knock it on the head.”

Although she is educating her children privately, Stella, who also has two-year-old son Beckett and is currently expecting her fourth child with husband Alasdhair Willis, admits that her own schooling was the “best thing” that could have happened for her.

She explained to Observer Food Monthly magazine, “Going to the normal local comprehensive was one of the best things that could have happened to me.

“You didn’t boast about stuff otherwise you’d get beaten up. It was healthy to see how most people in the world live. That’s why I freak out that my kids aren’t doing that.”

Lindsay Lohan Claims She’s in Great Place

Lindsay Lohan claims she is in a “great place”.

The troubled actress, who is currently staying in a sober living facility ahead of beginning a 90-day jail term for breaching probation, has blasted her estranged father Michael Lohan for his comments on her life and has warned him to stay away from her.

She tweeted, “I don’t want my ex-father anywhere near me no matter where I am. He is crazy and scares me.

“I don’t want Michael Lohan Sr. anywhere near me, no matter where I am. I am in a great place and he only brings negativity in my world.”

Lindsay’s comments came after Michael blasted her new lawyer Robert Shapiro over a “conflict of interests”.

Michael believes the lawyer should do more to appeal the 24-year-old star’s prison sentence instead of encouraging her to enter the facility which he founded in memory of his son, who died of a drugs overdose.

Michael, who has repeatedly claimed Lindsay is addicted to prescription drugs, told E! News, “It’s a conflict of interest if he’s putting her in his own sober house but not doing anything for her legally.

“But when you have an attorney like Robert Shapiro, who went through so much with his own son and knows the effects of prescription medications, it doesn’t make sense that he did nothing to appeal her case and get her off the meds before she goes to jail.

“Everyone knows that when you go into the jail or prison system, if you’re on prescriptions written by a doctor, they give them to you in prison. It’s a continuous cycle. Here you are punishing a girl because she has a drug problem, or at least for things that resulted from a drug problem and not doing anything to fix it.

“I’m very upset that Robert Shapiro did nothing to appeal the case.”

Lindsay is due to start her prison sentence, which stems from a breach of probation conditions she was set following her 2007 conviction for driving under the influence (DUI), tomorrow July 20.

Liam Gallagher: Noel Never Bothers to See My Sons

Liam Gallagher claims his brother Noel never bothers to see his sons.

The Beady Eye frontman, who has been accused by his sibling and former Oasis bandmate of never bothering to visit his two-year-old son Donovan, insists Noel doesn’t invite his nephews, Gene, nine, and Lennon, 10, to his house and has virtually no contact with them.

He said, “I have seen his son! But he hasn’t seen my sons. When I have birthday parties, his son’s always invited. When his kid had his birthday party, we weren’t invited. All this about how he’s round my house sipping tea with my kids and taking them for walks in the park – he hasn’t seen my kids. He’s only seen them at concerts because I’ve brought them, but he didn’t bring his kids because it’s not the place for their kids apparently.”

Liam also insists he regularly sees his niece Anais, Noel’s daughter with ex-wife Meg Mathews, and has a great relationship with her.

The 37-year-old singer, who has spoken to Noel since they had a furious argument before a concert last August which resulted in the end of Oasis, added in an interview with The Sunday Times magazine, “I’ve got a great relationship with Anais. She comes round my place once a month. So all this about me not liking his kids is f***ing b****cks. I f***ing love kids. He’s talking s**te as usual.”

Noel, 43, is currently expecting his second child with his long-term partner Sara MacDonald.

Kimberley Walsh’s Healthy Relationship

Kimberley Walsh only had two lovers.

The 28-year-old Girls Aloud beauty, who has been in a relationship with former singer Justin Scott for six years, insists there is nothing sensational or dramatic about her “healthy” personal life.

She said, “I’m a one-guy girl and I’ve never played the field. I’ve only had one previous boyfriend. I’ve just had two good, healthy relationships in my life.”

The ‘Biology’ singer also admitted she is confident about tying the knot with Justin some time in the near future.

She explained in an interview with the new issue of Reveal magazine, “I caught the bouquet at my sister’s wedding last weekend, so maybe we’ll wed soon. We’ve been together seven years, we know it will happen eventually.”

Despite their closeness, Kimberley admitted she is rarely seen in public with Justin because she got so infuriated with the way he was treated by other people.

She said, “People can be so rude, he can be standing right beside me but some people don’t even acknowledge he’s there. Justin’s all right about it – but I’m not. So I go to things on my own now.”

Ozzy Osbourne Lost His Virginity In His Teens

Ozzy Osbourne lost his virginity at 15.

The rocker admits he couldn’t wait to finally have sex with someone because he was so “randy” it was all he ever thought about.

He said, “I was 15 when I lost my virginity and I was so randy it felt like my pants were about to explode.”

And Ozzy, who has been married to TV star Sharon for 28 years, doesn’t believe people should wait until they tie the knot to have sex, because they might get an unwanted surprise.

He added in his irreverent health column for the Sunday Times newspaper, “One problem with holding out is, when you do eventually marry someone, what happens if you later discover you don’t like making love to them. But you don’t want to marry someone for lust either, because you’ll spend more time washing the dishes with them then you will setting the world on fire between the sheets.”

Sheryl Crow Recalls “Alien” Cancer Battle

Sheryl Crow says having cancer treatment was like facing an “alien spaceship”.

The musician overcame breast cancer in 2006 and she has vivid memories of the radiotherapy she underwent and her battle against the illness.

And Sheryl, 48, believes the treatment not only rid her of the disease but also of personality traits which were holding back her emotional development.

She said, “Every morning I would go and lie on an aluminum table with my arm over my head and I would face this massive mothership – the irradiation machine was like an alien spaceship – and I met myself on that table. I met somebody I had forgotten about. “Sometimes I feel our lives are set up purposefully with events that reveal where we’ve gotten off track. I don’t have a sense of pleasing people anymore. I feel I shed that skin when I went through radiation.”

Sheryl also revealed motherhood has given her a whole new perspective on life

The ‘If It Makes You Happy’ singer – who adopted her oldest son, Wyatt, now three, as she was recovering from cancer, and adopted her second son, two-month-old Levi James, this year – is more picky when it comes to dating men now she has children.

Sheryl, who was previously in a relationship with cycling legend Lance Armstrong and has dated Owen Wilson and Eric Clapton, said in an interview with You magazine, “I’m single now but I’ve had some great relationships since the kids. But it’s different when you’re a mother, you choose carefully.”
