The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer, who has had to take a break from all her commitments after she was struck down with potentially fatal tropical disease malaria, has reportedly been texting Simon Cowell saying she is bored and wants to resume her role as a judge on his British pop star search show ‘The X Factor’ as soon as possible.

Speaking to ‘GMTV’, Simon said, “The worst is over. The texts are getting increasingly feisty so she’s on the mend.”

However, the music mogul admitted he is trying to stop the 27-year-old brunette beauty, who is believed to have contracted the illness while on holiday with rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough in Tanzania last month, from rushing back to work too quickly.

He explained, “It was serious and she was ill – we didn’t realise how ill. But judging by the text messages I’ve had, she is definitely looking forward to getting back to work.

“I think our job is to make sure she doesn’t come back too quickly because I think she’s bored out of her mind and going crazy.”

Cheryl, who as well as pulling out of ‘The X Factor’ had to cancel her scheduled appearances at the V Festival in August, was discharged from hospital last Thursday morning, July 15, and is now convalescing at her home in Surrey, South England.

Madonna has been served with a noise abatement notice for a karaoke party at her London home.

The ‘Celebration’ singer faces a fine of up to $7,590 after her staff threw a loud party in the exclusive Marylebone area of the UK capital, while Madonna was away.

The 51-year-old pop superstar is reportedly “furious” about being given the official warning, which came about after angry neighbours complained to Westminster Council, and has been threatened with the huge fine should it happen again.

A friend of the singer said, “Madonna likes a good party like anyone else but she is respectful of her neighbours and doesn’t like to upset anyone. She was absolutely furious when she found out.”

After the complaints were lodged, officers turned up shortly after 2pm on the Sunday afternoon, spoke to partygoers through the intercom and asked them to reduce the noise.

They were refused entry to the building and were told Madonna, 51, was away.

A spokesperson for the council said, “In order to deal with the matter, a notice was served by posting it through the box at the premises. The notice was addressed to the owner or occupier at the address ordering that the noise be stopped – which it was. Any further offence could see Madonna landed with a $7,590 fine.”

Madonna uses the lavish $10 million property as a family home and often stays there with her children, daughter Lourdes, 13, son Rocco, nine, and adopted kids Mercy, five, and David, four.

Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer has quit just a day before she is due to go to jail.

Robert Shapiro was expected to represent the ‘Mean Girls’ star today, July 20, in court ahead of her scheduled prison term, but has now left the job for unknown reasons.

The lawyer, who formerly represented O.J. Simpson, revealed last week he would only represent the 24-year-old actress if she agreed to certain conditions.

He said in an official statement, “I have agreed to represent Ms. Lohan on the condition she complies with all of the terms of her probation, including a requirement of jail time that was imposed by Judge Marsha Revel.”

Lindsay then entered sober living facility Pickford Lofts, which was founded by Shapiro, which she has now moved out of ahead of her jail stay.

Shapiro told Judge Marsha Revel in her chambers he was no longer representing her yesterday, July 19.

Meanwhile, Lindsay has shown her humorous side ahead of her prison sentence, revealing her unfamiliarity with the term “bookings”.

Writing on twitter, she said, “the only “bookings” that i’m familiar with are Disney Films, never thought that i’d be “booking” into Jail… eeeks (sic)”

Lindsay has to surrender to a Beverley Hills court at 8.30am today (Pacific Daylight Time).

The ’Alejandro’ singer, who is well known for her love of the hot beverage, is reportedly being pursued by several major companies who want her to be their brand ambassador.

So far, distinguished English firm Twinings is the most determined to bag the contract with the eccentric pop star.

They have made a multi-million pound offer to her management and have also instructed expert tea makers to invent a new oriental flavour especially for Gaga which they hope will appeal to her fans and younger drinkers around the globe.

A source told The Sun newspaper, “Her management have received a load of offers from major tea companies but Twinings are the frontrunners.

“They want to launch a new tea with her face on it. Names like The Taste Of Gaga are being batted about. The idea is to have tasting sessions in which she would participate.

“The tasters are coming up with a tea with an oriental flavour. They want to market tea to a new, younger generation – particularly in America. Gaga is making drinking tea cool again.”

The 24-year-old star, real name Stefani Germanotta, is often pictured sipping tea from her favourite cup and saucer set and rarely travels anywhere without it.

She threw a huge tantrum last year when she lost the teacup.

The ‘Poker Face’ singer accidentally left the blue flowered cup at a restaurant in London’s Metropolitan Hotel and sent a taxi on a $53 round trip from her suite at Blakes Hotel to collect it.

A source said, “She kicked up a fuss and demanded someone get her cup and saucer back.

“She wouldn’t drink out of anything else. It just looked like any other cup and saucer and said ‘Made in China’ on the bottom. It seemed a lot of fuss over nothing.”

Sandra Bullock has obtained a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker.

The ‘Blind Side’ star’s lawyers obtained a document yesterday, July 19, at a Los Angeles court to protect her from Thomas James Weldon, who has been “obsessed” with the actress since 2003.

Bullock first took out an order in California against the man seven years ago, but it expired in 2009.

Weldon voluntarily entered a mental institution in Tennessee but turned up to a Wyoming hospital last month, complaining of anxiety and sleeplessness.

While at the medical facility, he told staff he had driven from Tennessee hoping to meet the actress at her nearby home, admitted he had not been taking his medication and claimed he had been communicating with the 45-year-old star brunette beauty telepathically.

In a sworn declaration, psychiatrist Dr. Jiri Danczik wrote, “His preoccupation with Ms. Bullock is obvious.”

Bullock’s attorney, Ed McPherson, filed a declaration stating the actress has received numerous emails and faxes in recent years from Weldon.

It is unclear when he was released from the mental institution, but in 2006, the Hollywood star sued the state to require they notify her of his release.

The order seeks to block Weldon from trying to contact the actress, and her seven-month-old son Louis Bardo, at any of her homes and movie sets.

A hearing to obtain a three-year order against Weldon has been scheduled for August 6.

Kelly Osbourne has blasted “sl**ty girls” for ruining her relationship.

The 25-year-old star, who confirmed last week she had split from fiance Luke Worrall amid rumours he had cheated on her, is trying not to speak badly of her former lover, but is adamant none of her actions were responsible for their separation.

Alex Reid is going to become a vegetarian for his pet pig.

The cage-fighter is so smitten with his new micro-pig Bingle, who was given to him and Katie Price as a gift at their recent wedding blessing, he is considering giving up meat because he now feels “guilty” eating it.

He explained, “I am very attached to Bingle and have even given up eating pork because it was making me feel so guilty.

“I might even go the whole hog and turn vegetarian. Ha ha!

“Bingle has made me appreciate pigs more – they are so intelligent.

Paris admits the yacht she and Nicky have been staying on is like “heaven on water”.

She added in a series of other posts, “Our yacht is incredible! Has its own pool, hot tub, movie theatre, recording studio, spa/massage room, gym, arcade room, helicopter pad and the most beautiful bedrooms and decor. I’m in Heaven on the water. Definitely the biggest and best yacht everywhere we go. Loves it! Huge… Another beautiful day in paradise! What more could a girl ask for? (sic)”

The 29-year-old hotel heiress traveled to Sardinia from France.

On Friday, July 16, she was reportedly stopped by police officers as she landed on the French island of Corsica by private jet and was found to be in possession of less than a gram of marijuana.

Paris is believed to have been released without charge, but she denies being stopped and has branded the allegation “completely false”.
