Another day, another Bieber rumor and today’s hot gossip suggests that Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber has converted to Scientology.

We’ve done our standard background checking on the rumor, and besides some contact with Will Smith’s kid, Bieber has had no contact with Scientologist that we can find.

This isn’t to say that the rumor might not be true: Scientology has strong entertainment industry backers and are always on the lookouts for converts.

However we’re calling rubbish on this, and without checking would suggest the rumor probably originated on a particular forum rules 1 and 2 of the internet don’t allow us to mention.

Still, we’ll score Justin Bieber converts To Scientology a 4/10 on the original rumor scale.

Zac Efron has no plans to marry Vanessa Hudgens.

The 22-year-old star, who began dating the brunette beauty after they met on the set of ‘High School Musical’ in 2005, doesn’t want the “pressure” of making an official commitment to their relationship until he is much older.

He said, “No, I’m not going to get married for a while.

“I think I’ve always said I’m not going to get married ’til I’m 30. I’m going to wait. I wouldn’t want that kind of commitment or pressure at this point.”

The Californian hunk recently admitted the reason his five-year relationship with 21-year-old Vanessa has worked so well is because they have kept it private and try not to let attention bother them too much.

Zac said, “Not much of it is public to be honest. We don’t talk about it other than the fact that it exists. We just try to keep it to ourselves, which is what we take a sense of pride in because we don’t need to share that.

“During ‘High School Musical’ I didn’t know how to handle it, but if you just live your life and keep doing what you do and don’t care if they take pictures – they can’t slow you down.”

The ‘Expendables’ actor, who married lingerie model Emma Heming in March 2009, admits he had ruled out ever finding love again after his divorce from Demi Moore in 2000, and credits the British beauty for turning his life around.

He said, “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been and this comes after a long period of being kind of lonely, even though I tried to convince myself I was enjoying my life.

“Before I met Emma I was very pessimistic about finding that special woman with whom I would want to spend my life with.

“I thought it would be difficult for someone like me, who is well known, to find a woman who didn’t have an agenda and who just wanted to be with me because they loved me, pure and simple.”

The actor also admitted he struggled with the break-up of his 13-year marriage to Demi, but after receiving advice from Will Smith, realized they should stay on good terms with the actress and her new husband Ashton Kutcher for the sake of their daughters Rumer, 21, Scout, 18, and Tallulah, 16.

He explained in an interview with The Sun newspaper, “I just saw that there’s no point to living with regret or antagonism or having any pent-up anger. You have to let it all go. It was a tough time for me during those years after the break-up. But I had a long talk with Will Smith one day.

“He kind of explained to me how I had to make an effort to be good friends with Demi for the sake of our girls and how they would have a much happier life and feel so much better if Mom and Dad could stay friends. That was a great decision in my life and to tell you the truth it worked out really well.”

Jennifer Aniston “feared for her safety” from an alleged stalker.

The ‘Bounty Hunter’ star’s lawyers obtained a temporary restraining order yesterday, July 20, at a court in Santa Monica to protect her from Jason R. Peyton, who was arrested after spending days trying to find the actress on Sunset Boulevard, California.

In a signed court declaration the actress revealed that “delusional” Peyton had made her fear for her safety.

She stated, “Mr. Peyton has aggressively sought to have personal contact with me and integrate himself into my life.

“’Due to Mr. Peyton’s delusional compulsion and increasingly harassing, stalking and threatening conduct, I have been subjected to a course of conduct which has and is seriously alarming, annoying and harassing me.

“Mr. Peyton’s ongoing, ever-increasing, aggressive and harassing conduct are extremely distressing. I fear for my personal safety and that of those around me.”

Court documents filed on Tuesday reveal police detained the 24-year-old man, who traveled cross-country in a delusional attempt to marry the former ‘Friends’ star – last week after finding him with a sharp object, duct tape and love notes to her.

Among the messages he had written to himself were brief notes reading “Jen told me she wants me to be the father of her children” and “Call Jen”, as well a s a list of potential baby names.

The filings state Peyton, who had scratched ‘I love Jennifer Aniston’ onto his car, has been accused of stalking others and is disobeying court orders that he must take anti-psychotic medications.

Police reports say he has “a history of violence and criminal stalking”.

The man, who has been diagnosed as a delusional and paranoid schizophrenic was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold by Los Angeles police.

According to court documents, Peyton has said he “won’t stop” his pursuit of the 41-year-old actress.

Under the terms of the restraining order Peyton must stay 100 yards away from the actress’ home, places of work and vehicles.

He must also not approach her staff, agents, managers and other representatives.

A hearing on the order will be held on August 9.

Lindsay Lohan was cheered by inmates as she started her jail sentence yesterday, July 20.

The troubled actress arrived at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California at around 10am in tears, to chants of “We love you, Lindsay” as the prison was shut down for an hour for her arrival.

Prisoner Tiffany Hawes, who was being released from the centre at the time of the actress’ arrival said, “Lindsay was crying when she came in. She was handcuffed but seemed calm. We all started saying ‘God bless you Lindsay’ and saying ‘Hi’ to her and then she smiled at us.”

Shortly after being driven to the jail and entering through the back entrance in handcuffs, Lindsay was strip searched, cavity searched and dressed in the uniform orange jumpsuit before she posed for her mug shot photograph.

The 24-year-old actress was then led to her 12ft by 8ft private cell, next to reality TV star Alexis Neiers, who is serving a sentence for burgling Orlando Bloom’s home.

Lindsay has been placed in the special needs unit, where celebrities and other high-profile inmates who could easily become targets for attack, are kept, and will only be allowed out of her cell for an hour a day.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore has revealed Lindsay is likely to serve just 14 days of her 90-day sentence.

He said, “She is scheduled to be released on either August 1 or 2 for overcrowding issues and good behaviour.”

Lindsay was sentenced to spend 90 days in prison, followed by 90 days in rehab for violating the terms of her probation for her 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) charge.

Her estranged father Michael Lohan has pledged his support to the actress during this time, and has vowed to visit her every day – even though she has publicly said she wants nothing to do with him.

He said on TV show ‘America Live with Megyn Kelly’, “I’m here for her, I’ll go to the jail everyday that she’s there. Hopefully she’ll let me visit her. If not, I’ll write letters to her, and I’ll be there for her.”

Michael also revealed plans to work with Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley to try and appeal his daughter’s sentence.

He added,“We’re going to be working with Shawn Chapman Holley to hopefully put in an appeal on Lindsay’s behalf.”

Ali Larter is expecting her first child.

The ‘Heroes’ actress, who married stand-up comedian Hayes McArthur last August, will reportedly welcome the new addition to her family into the world this winter.

Her spokesperson confirmed, “Ali and Hayes are thrilled to be expecting their first child.”

Ali, 34, has previously admitted that she was desperate to settle down and have children with Hayes from the first time they started dating.

Speaking after their engagement in 2007, she confessed, “I told Hayes after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow. I look forward to the time that I’m at home with babies.

“He has brought light to my life. I feel lucky every morning when I wake up and see him. Not everybody is fortunate enough to find their soul mate in life.”

Ali has also previously admitted she ruined several relationships before she met Hayes because she was so obsessed with getting married.

She said, “Since I was 15 years old, all I wanted was to find the guy I was going to marry. My heart got broken so many times because I put so much pressure on it. And then I got blindsided.

“Hayes showed me the way, and all was right. This is how it’s supposed to be.”

Katie Price says her children are big fans of her music.

The 32-year-old star played her track ‘Free To Love Again’ to son Junior, five, and three-year-old daughter Princess Tiaamii – her children with ex-husband Peter Andre – and the two tots couldn’t resist the dance tune.

Katie, who also has an eight-year-old son Harvey from a previous relationship said, “On my show, although I don’t know if they show it because I haven’t seen the final edit, you can see Junior and Princess dancing around to it and loving it. It’s really sweet.”

Katie says all her family and friends, including husband Alex Reid, love the track, which reached number 60 in the UK singles chart on Sunday, July 18, and she respects their opinion more than anyone else’s.

She added, “Everyone I’ve played it to loves it. And I consider the people close to me to be my main critics, if something wasn’t right or wrong they would say.”

Katie has also praised her fans for sticking by her over the last year-and-a-half and insists she can cope with anything that is thrown at her as long as she knows her fans are on her side.

The former glamour model, who was heavily criticized in the wake of her split from Peter and suffered a backlash from his supporters, exclusively told BANG Showbiz, “All I know is that my fans are very loyal, when I go to my signings it says it all. By judging who turns up to my signings I’m not worried about anything. My fans are really loyal… look I’ve had a bad year because of the press and everything. But now it’s all picking up and everything is going great.”

Katie Holmes is “inspired” by her family.

The ‘Extra Man’ star, who has a daughter Suri, four, with actor husband Tom Cruise , claimed her loved ones help to be creative while she is at home, as they inspire the way she approaches some of her movie roles.

Speaking to America’s OK! magazine, she explained, “Every day my husband inspires me. My family inspires me. My daughter inspires. We’re always sort of creating new things whether it’s a party, or a script or a movie. We try to be a very creative household.”

The brunette beauty admitted she thinks Suri could follow in her famous parents’ footsteps in the acting world if that’s what she wants when she grows up.

She said, “I know that she can do whatever she wants and she’ll be great at it.”

Tom recently revealed he always speaks to Suri about his impending movie roles and runs through his scripts with her.

He said, “I’ll put Suri on a swing and tell her stories when I’m working on a script.

“I’ll start with the beginning of the movie and take her through the story beat by beat. Of course, I make it age-appropriate. She’s four years old. But she asks all the right questions, ‘Why does that happen?’ ‘Those are the bad guys?’ ‘You’re the good guy, right?’

“It comes down to the same thing as when I was a kid. Can I create a character that will make her happy, that will make her laugh? And you know what? She makes me get better and better, because she’s always asking me to do it again.”

Lily Allen’s mother was jealous when the singer became famous.

Alison Owen, who raised Lily and her brother Alfie alone after her marriage to actor Keith Allen broke down, insists she has always been proud of the 25-year-old star’s musical success, but was concerned they wouldn’t be as close as they always had been.

She told Grazia magazine, “I was extremely proud of what she had achieved, but I felt scared for her, protective of her, jealous other people had a part of her. It felt as if she wasn’t mine so much any more.”

Alison was left particularly concerned when she was Lily drunk and slurring her words, as well as arguing on stage with music legend Sir Elton John, at the GQ Awards in 2008.

She said, “I was worried because she had drunk too much and I don’t want her to do anything she’s going to feel bad about.

“That night got blown out of proportion, though. She’s good friends with Elton, and they both thought it was funny.”

Simon Cowell is ready to become a father.

The 50-year-old music mogul has reportedly agreed to fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy’s requests to start a family, and the couple plan to begin trying to conceive in the near future.

A friend of the make-up artist said, “She’s already told her friends: ‘I want to have Simon’s baby – and I’m not prepared to wait much longer.’

“She said last week that she will start trying before the end of the year and that Simon is up for it.”

Simon and Mezghan, who got engaged in February, were originally believed to be planning to marry this summer, but after delaying their nuptials, the brunette beauty is determined to carry out her plan to have children as soon as possible.

The friend revealed to Closer magazine, “Simon doesn’t want to rush into a summer wedding so Mezghan wants to move on to the next big project, which she says is becoming a mum.

“Mezghan thinks he’ll be a great dad, but she’s worried he might change his mind about wanting a baby as he was so anti the idea before.”
