Liam Neeson Finds Bradley Cooper “Terrifying”

Liam Neeson initially found working with Bradley Cooper “terrifying”.

The 58-year-old actor co-stars with ‘The Hangover’ hunk in ‘The A-Team’ and admits he struggled at first to keep up with his younger co-stars.

He recalled, “We did a scene in the van which was my first time with Bradley. He starts this improvisation, prompted by the director, and I’m there going, ‘What the hell is this?’ So it was terrifying for the first few days, and then it got to be inspiring actually.”

However, Liam’s co-stars, which also included Jessica Biel and Sharlto Copley, admit that his presence on the set encouraged them to work harder.

Bradley explained, “It was like stepping on the court with Michael Jordan how it raised everybody’s game.

“That’s just what happens when you get a talent like that to work with.”

Liam had to die his hair white for the role of John ‘Hannibal’ Smith in the movie and rather than worry about the aging effect it would have on his appearance, the actor embraced his new look.

He said, “It was the director Joe Carnahan’s idea originally. But I’m a huge Lee Marvin fan so I basically wrapped my character around a vague impression of Lee Marvin of ‘Dirty Dozen’ fame, which I’ve watched more than 10 times. I think it was a good choice.”

Cheryl Cole Plans To Raise Money For Malaria

Cheryl Cole wants to raise money to stop the spread of malaria in Africa.

The pop star was hospitalized after contracting the potentially fatal tropical disease during a trip to Tanzania and while she has been recovering she has decided she wants to help sufferers in the continent.

A friend of the star said, “Cheryl wants to raise money for mosquito nets and better medicines across the worst-affected regions of Africa. After hitting such a terrible physical low, she has come to realize just how awful the disease is and how lucky she has been to receive the best medical care.”

The 27-year-old singer, who had to pull out of the audition stages of pop star search show ‘The X Factor’ and canceled her scheduled appearances at the V Festival in August so she can fully recover, was discharged from hospital earlier this month and is now convalescing at her home in Surrey, South East England.

Meanwhile, Cheryl’s estranged husband Ashley Cole is selling the north London apartment he shared with the Girls Aloud star before they married.

The soccer player, who is currently in the process of getting divorced from Cheryl, is evicting his tenants from the property so he can put it on the market.

A source told The Mail on Sunday newspaper, “Ashley informed his tenants that they were being evicted three weeks ago, even though their tenancy is not over. He is hoping to sell up by the end of next month. He wants no more ties to Cheryl or the homes they once shared.”

Ashley, 29 and Cheryl moved into the apartment in 2004 before they got engaged. After they married they relocated to a $9.3 million Surrey mansion in 2008.

Kate Winslet Dating Hunky Model Louis Dowler

Kate Winslet is reportedly dating a male model.

The 34-year-old actress, who separated from her film director husband Sam Mendes in March, is allegedly romancing hunk Louis Dowler, also 34, after meeting him a few months ago through mutual friends.

A source told the News of the World newspaper, “Louis has been spending a lot of time with Kate recently and they were in New York together while he was shooting an advert. They’ve been on lots of dates and get on really well. It’s early days for them but they enjoy each other’s company. They’ve been desperate to keep the relationship under wraps so they’ve been a bit low-key so far.”

Things are going so well between the pair, Kate – who lives in New York’s Greenwich Village with her two children, six-year-old son Joe, whose father is Sam, and her daughter Mia, nine, from her relationship with ex-husband Jim Threapleton – is planning to go on vacation with Louis to Cornwall, South West England, where he was born.

The source added, “They are trying to plan their diaries to make sure they can spend as much time together as they can. They hope to visit Cornwall together in the summer for a holiday.”

Louis works for the Select Model Agency and has appeared in campaigns for Burberry with supermodel Kate Moss.

Key Mentor Jay-Z

Jay-Z gives “key” advice.

The music mogul has become a mentor to British rapper Tinchy Stryder and the 23-year-old star admits that although the ’99 Problems’ singer doesn’t always have a lot to say, his words of wisdom are always essential listening.

Tinchy said, “I finally met Jay-Z in his dressing room in Manchester in June. His people wanted us to meet for ages before then but we kept missing each other.

“Later we had a drink. He said, ‘People always say they can handle it at the start. You have to pace yourself.’ He wasn’t referring to the drink but to success.

“He says key things, he is not someone who speaks for the sake of it.”

Tinchy has also been listening to the advice of fellow London-based star Dizzee Rascal, who advised him to channel his emotions into his music.

He added, “My new album is about what’s been on my mind and all the things I went through since I’ve been successful this last year.

“I can’t complain because it’s been fun but I feel separate from my social life, family and friends because I am so busy. Often I feel lonely in a crowd.

“I was speaking to Dizzee about it and he said the trick is to translate these feelings into music. When you write it down or record the music you feel much better.”

Angelina Jolie’s Shower Time

Angelina Jolie‘s only time alone is in the shower.

The ‘Salt’ actress, who raises six children with partner Brad Pitt, struggles to get any peaceful moments away from her large family, even early in the mornings.

Describing a typical day Angelina said, “I wake up. I’ve got four kids in bed with me and Brad is on the phone and with the twins.

“I just don’t get any solitude – most people with kids don’t. Sometimes you get a bath or a shower but usually somebody is trying to get in. You get used to it.”

However, the 35-year-old beauty explained that support from actor Brad helped her to keep everything under control.

She added, “Brad and I take turns – like now, he’s working so I’m home with the kids and then in four months I’ll be itching to do something. It does balance itself out mainly because I have an extraordinary partner who gives me that time.”
