Zac Efron reportedly spent more than $2,000 on lap dancers and vodka at a New York strip club.

The actor and two male friends, including his ‘High School Musical’ co-star Corbin Bleu, visited Flashdancers Gentlemen’s Club on Broadway on Sunday night, June 25, and stayed until 3am.

The ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ star, who has been dating actress Vanessa Hudgens since 2005, is said to have requested dances from three pretty brunettes.

A witness at the club told the New York Post newspaper, “Zac came in Sunday night around midnight with Corbin and one other male friend, who paid for everything. They were seated in the VIP lounge behind the main stage. There was only a rail between them and the girls who were dancing.

“They ordered one bottle of Belvedere vodka and were enthralled with the dancers. They were interacting a lot with the girls and reaching out and showering money on them. There were three girls who Zac and his friends particularly liked and they asked to do personal dances at their table.”

The source continued, “The girls were all slim pretty brunettes, a bit like Zac’s girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens. They were two Americans, called Shannon and Brandi, and a gorgeous Brazilian called Raquel.

“Zac and the boys had a great time and left around 3am.”

The next day Zac attended the New York premiere for his new movie ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ – in which he stars alongside Kim Basinger.

In a Daily Mail piece that is edited horrifically even by Daily Fail standards, Inception star Tom Hardy coyly admits to having trysts with hopefully equally gorgeous men in his teens and twenties.

The exact question asked of Hardy wasn’t revealed in the piece, but it was apparently about hot slashy real-life action. And Hardy answered:

‘As a boy? Of course I have. I’m an actor for ****’s sake.

‘I’ve played with everything and everyone. I love the form and the physicality, but now that I’m in my thirties, it doesn’t do it for me.’

Hardy goes on to say:

‘I’m done experimenting but there’s plenty of stuff in a relationship with another man, especially gay men, that I need in my life… ‘I feel intrinsically feminine. I’d love to be one of the boys but I always felt a bit on the outside.

‘Maybe my masculine qualities come from overcompensating because I’m not one of the boys.’

The British actor is engaged to fellow Brit Charlotte Riley and has a two-year-old son from a previous relationship.

Cheryl Cole has Derek Hough to live with her as she recovers from malaria.

The 27-year-old pop star told the American dancer he could move in to her mansion in Godalming, Surrey, while he hunts for a house in London.

Derek, 25, has stuck by Cheryl’s side over the past few weeks as she recovered in hospital from the potentially-fatal tropical disease she picked up on their vacation to Tanzania.

The singer is keen that Derek, who she has been romantically linked to, has somewhere to stay while he meets West End show producers, TV executives and firms who have offered him a string of work offers.

The ‘Dancing with the Stars’ dancer plans to relocate to the UK for the rest of the year.

A source told The Sun newspaper, “She’s more than happy to have him move in. She is on her way back to full strength now and is looking forward to having a pal round to keep her company.

“Derek is looking for somewhere of his own in west London. But before he finds a new home, he’s glad to shack up with Cheryl.”

The news comes just after Cheryl’s ‘X Factor’ boss Simon Cowell reportedly ordered her to stay single.

He told the Girls Aloud singer, who is in the middle of divorcing her husband Ashley Cole, to curb her rumoured romance with dancer Derek and concentrate on her health instead.

A source said, “He feels Derek is a distraction that she simply doesn’t need.”

Lindsay Lohan is desperate to spend time with her family before she enters rehab.

The troubled actress, who is expected to be released from jail on either August 1 or 2, is upset at the idea of going to the court-ordered rehabilitation centre immediately after her release from prison, and her lawyer is asking the judge to alter her ruling.

Judge Marsha Revel sentenced Lindsay to 90 days in prison, followed by 90 days in rehab, for violating the terms of her probation for her 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) charge. She also ordered the 24-year-old actress to enter the rehabilitation centre within 24 hours of leaving prison.

Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley explained, “She’s a little upset right now. She’d like to spend some time with her family, and there’s at least some question as to whether or not she’ll have to go directly to rehab.

“I think it would only be fair for her to spend some time with her family and that’s what she’d like for me to emphasise to the judge.”

Lindsay entered prison on July 20 and has had a difficult time inside since her sentence began.

Earlier this week, it was reported the actress has been moved into isolation after breaking down in her cell at the Century Regional Correctional Facility in Lynwood, California.

Former inmate Cheryl Presser, who was released from the prison on Friday, July 23, said, “Lindsay would lie there shivering all night, crying and covering her face with her hands. Her wailing was keeping everyone awake… She had a hysterical fit, crying and yelling, so she got put in isolation.”

Lindsay has been visited by her mother Dina and sister Ali twice, but has barred her estranged father Michael from seeing her wile she is incarcerated.

It looks like MTV is keeping the trash quotient at expected levels in their selection the newest orange castmate for their runaway hit Jersey Shore.

23-year-old Deena Nicole Cortese is not confirmed to be a permanent fixture on the show, but it is believed that she’ll appear in some of the upcoming season’s episodes. Deena Nicole’s MySpace page hasn’t been vetted by MTV execs, apparently, as the aspiring fameball said some pretty offensive things via the social networking site:

“I don’t give a f**k,” is interspersed with sexy pics and quotes like “I’m addictive and expensive like cocaine. I should just have my own TV show!”

The foul-mouthed female also recorded a video blog on her MySpace page in 2008, in which she rants about the way she’s been treated by dudes.

Swearing revenge, she says, “we’re gonna play you out, n**ga.”

MTV did not comment on the circulating clip, and it’s not clear that the woman in the pic is definitely Cortese. The new season of Jersey Shore premieres Thursday.

Jessica Biel was “one of the guys” on the set of ‘The A-Team’.

Despite being the only girl on set, the 28-year-old brunette beauty, who plays military hardliner Charisa Sosa in the reimagining of the 80s TV show, loved being surrounded by macho guys all day.

Speaking at the UK premiere of the movie at the Empire cinema in London’s Leicester Square, Jessica told BANG Showbiz, “I was pretty much just one of the guys. Our director Joe Carnahan just made everything so comfortable. So I never felt like an intruder coming into a boys club. And the guys are so nice and so kind and so professional and really behaved themselves. We had a really great time.”

The actress, who is currently dating pop heartthrob Justin Timberlake, was also more than happy to shoot her romantic scenes with Bradley Cooper, who plays Templeton ‘Face’ Peck.

She said, “Kissing Bradley Cooper? Well somebody has to do it!”

Jessica was joined on the red carpet by all of the film’s main cast, including Bradley, Liam Neeson, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and Sharlto Copley.

Liam, who plays John ‘Hannibal’ Smith in the film, admits he would love to work on a sequel if the opportunity arose.

He said, “Oh I’d love to do a sequel with the guys. They’re a great bunch.”

Other stars to walk the red carpet for the premiere included Katie Price’s husband Alex Reid, ‘X Factor’ runner-up Olly Murs and former boxer Chris Eubank.

Al Goodman, who sang with the Moments and Ray, Goodman and Brown, died Monday in a Hackensack hospital.

67-year-old Goodman suffered heart failure during a surgery to remove a tumor, his daughter Rhonda confirmed to CNN. Prior to the surgery, his daughter says he was in good spirits, “laughing and joking.” CNN spoke to fellow soul singer Marshall Thompson about Goodman’s passing:

“There’s mourning all over the world — in England, in Germany and in Japan,” said Marshall Thompson, leader of the Chi-Lites, on Tuesday. “We’re all mourning for Al Goodman.”

Along with the Moments, Goodman topped 70s charts with hits like “Love on a Two Way Street” and “Look at Me (I’m in Love).” “Love on a Two Way Street” was revived last year when Jay-Z sampled it for his mega-hit “Empire State of Mind.” Goodman is survived by his wife of over three decades, Henrietta, five children and a grandchild.

Mel Gibson has met with detectives to discuss extortion claims against his ex-girlfriend.

The 54-year-old actor, who has been accused of domestic violence against Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of his nine-month-old daughter Lucia, met with detectives on Sunday, July 25, to discuss claims the Russian singer tried to get money from him.

Mel has claimed Oksana only released explosive audio tapes, documenting their vicious arguments and the alleged attacks made by the Hollywood star, after he refused her apparent demands for cash.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore confirmed that detectives had met with Mel to discuss his allegations.

Whitmore explained, “It was not for the domestic violence investigation, it was just for the extortion.”

The ‘Braveheart’ actor does not have to discuss Oksana’s claims based on his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination.

During the meeting, Mel and his lawyer submitted “physical evidence” — including emails and texts – to make the case against Oksana. Meanwhile, a photograph of Oksana with a black eye after an alleged fight with Mel has surfaced on the internet.

The close-up shot, which shows the 40-year-old beauty with deep bruises around her left eye, was reportedly taken in January after a heated argument with Mel.

Mel is now facing a criminal investigation on domestic battery charges by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and is part of a Department of Children and Family Services investigation.

Marion Cotillard is a secret music star.

The ‘Inception’ actress recently toured for two months with her musician friend Yodelice, playing a variety of instruments and singing under the name Simone.

She explained, “I was in Los Angeles last January, a friend called me up who is an amazing singer who goes by the name Yodelice. He said, ‘Would you come to the studio? I would love for you to sing one of my songs.’ So I went down and ended up going from a background singer to being in a duet. Then my friend said he was playing at the Olympia in Paris and asked me if I would sing with him there and I said, ‘Oh, yeah, of course.’

“I was part of the band, playing all of the instruments. I ended up on tour with Yodelice for two months, travelling around to shows in different cities in France and Belgium.

“I changed my name, of course. I said, ‘I can’t be Marion Cotillard.’ We ended up using Simone, which is my other grandmother’s name. She passed away many years ago but always wanted to be a singer. So sometimes Simone appears with the band.”

Although Marion, who also experimented with the bass guitar, piano and drums when working with Yodelice, had to stop performing with her pal to complete her filming commitments, she is now looking forward to going on the road as her alter ego again.

She added to Interview magazine, “I love being Simone. I’m waiting for my schedule to open up in a month or two so I can pick up with the band and be a musician again.

“I love being one of the musicians in the back. The light is on the singer and I’m in the band. I love that.”

David Hasselhoff is his daughter’s best friend.

The 58-year-old star is currently working on a reality TV show with children Taylor Ann, 20, and 17-year-old Hayley, his kids with his ex-wife, actress Pamela Bach, and his youngest child hopes the programme will show how close the family are.

Hayley told website PopEater, “The biggest misconception is that we’re not a close family. We’re all best friends.

“We’re all so close to each other. It’s really amazing. They’re the first people I call about anything.”

The 10-part as-yet untitled series follows David on tour in Austria and overseeing his daughters’ music careers as they work on an album for their band Bella Vida.

Hayley promised the show will reflect her family as they really are – but warned she and her relatives are “crazy”.

She said, “Our family’s so close that it doesn’t matter if there’s cameras around.

“We’re crazy already, why not film us? I think we’re ready for the whole world to see the truth.”

Hayley is currently starring in US drama ‘Huge’ and is delighted to be following in her famous parents’ footsteps after growing up watching their endeavours in the entertainment industry

She added, “My mom and dad introduced me to such great passions at a young age. I grew up on my dad’s set. It’s cool to think I followed in their footsteps.”

David, who has famously battled alcoholism and was videoed by his daughters following one drinking binge, recently expressed his hope that his forthcoming reality show will help further his daughters’ careers.

He said, “I’m so proud of my girls and how well they are shifting in to the full time spotlight! I can’t wait to see how the reality series launches their careers.”
