Katy Perry wants to meet Prince Harry.

The ‘I Kissed a Girl’ singer, who is engaged to British comedian Russell Brand, is dying to meet the British prince who she has dubbed ‘The Ginger Ninja’.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper, “Katy’s really interested in the British royal family. She likes chatting to Russell about them and thinks Harry sounds hilarious as he’s got such a wild streak.”

Katy’s love for Britain’s royal family comes from her parents, Christian pastors Keith and Mary Hudson, who were huge fans of the late Princess Diana.

The source added, “She would love to hang out with both the princes this summer. Her parents were huge Princess Diana fans.”

Along with meeting Prince Harry and his brother William, Katy also wants to take a look around Buckingham Palace – the home of Queen Elizabeth II, the princes’ grandmother.

The source said, “Katy loves the idea of snooping around the palace and seeing where the queen entertains. She said she’d like to go for a traditional afternoon tea at a posh restaurant afterwards.”

The bitter public feud between Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva has gotten even more salacious and repugnant, as the much maligned actor has been caught on tape admitting to physically abusing his former girlfriend- while she was holding their 8-month-old child.

Gibson has been in the news lately for his racist rants aimed at Grigorieva, and a taped message from Gibson to the woman was released where he said:

“You’re an embarrassment to me.

“You look like a f***ing pig in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of n***ers, it will be your fault.”

And added:

“How dare you act like such a b***h when I have been so f***ing nice.

“I am going to come and burn the f***ing house down… but you will blow me first.”

Not surprisingly, the tirades didn’t do much to rehabilitate Gibson’s already tarnished image, and a newly released rant is not going to do the actor any favors. According to RadarOnline, on the recording, Gibson unabashedly admits to striking Grigorieva while she held their infant daughter Lucia:

On tape, a teary Oksana is heard asking Mel, “What kind of a man is that who would hit a woman when she is holding a child in her hands, hitting her twice in the face?

“What kind of a man is that?” the Russian musician repeats.

The Braveheart star responds: “You know what — you f**cking deserved it.”

Gibson’s recent rants are not the only instances of racist, sexist or otherwise-ist behavior the star has exhibited in recent years. He railed against Jews at a 2006 traffic stop for a DUI, and called a female officer “sugartits.”

Jennifer Aniston went on a date last Thursday, July 1.

The 41-year-old actress, who was previously married to Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt, and has dated Vince Vaughn and John Mayer, headed out on a special dinner in Los Angeles with actor Christopher Gartin.

The pair split a burger and drank a bottle of Verve Clicquot Rose at the Sunset Tower Hotel and Restaurant, where they discussed the benefits of pool chlorination.

A source told America’s OK! magazine, “She was bubbly in demeanour, seeming to be rather enthusiastic about something.

“They were talking about swimming pools and the pros and cons of chlorination or the new salt-water saline pools.”

They both sat for two hours in a quiet corner before ending their date, where Jennifer promptly got into Chris’ car.

When asked to confirm his relationship status with Jennifer, the ‘Flightplan’ actor responded by saying, “No comment.”

Recently it was reported Jennifer was seeing a life coach in the hope of making her dream of having a baby come true.

Hollywood life strategist Suzannah Galland, who is reported to have worked with a host of stars, including Demi Moore and Naomi Campbell revealed, “So many of my clients are walking around with a big hole in their hearts if they don’t have a family. Many of them think that because they can’t have a family the traditional way it won’t ever happen to them – they don’t consider other viable means, firstly, adoption.

“There are so many children who don’t have parents, or anyone to love them, and so many women who would make amazing mothers. It’s a matter of making them see that there is still a part of themselves that can make motherhood happen.”

Michael Lohan doesn’t think jail will help estranged daughter Lindsay overcome her problems.

The troubled actress was sentenced to 90 days in prison on Tuesday, July 6, for violating her probation for a driving under the influence (DUI) arrest in 2007 but Michael thinks it’s the wrong course of action for her.

Michael, who claims Lindsay has an addiction to prescription drugs, told ‘Larry King Live’: “I feel dismay, but at the same time a little satisfaction that she’s going to rehab. But the last thing in the world I wanted was for my daughter to go to jail… Any kind of jail is harsh especially for a young lady like Lindsay that doesn’t need jail. I’ve been there myself and I know that jail didn’t do anything for me with my addictions. It was taking drug programmes seriously.”

His lawyer Lisa Bloom added, “I don’t see the benefit of sending addicts to jail when they haven’t hurt anyone. Lindsay’s only been hurting herself.”

Lindsay, 24, was ordered to surrender to authorities on July 20 to begin serving the term and Judge Marsha Revel also said she would be required to enter an in-patient rehabilitation programme after her release from prison.

I have to admit I wasn’t always the biggest Beavis and Butt-Head fan, but it would be hard to argue that the 90′s icons didn’t have a huge effect on the conversations around school the next day, now we’ve come to learn that show creator Mike Judge could be writing up to 30 new episodes of the show, once again to air on MTV.

The team at REVIEWniverse spoke with an alleged insider who said:

“Even better news for fans is that, should this come to pass, Judge plans on retaining the show’s original ghetto-tech aesthetic, right down to the faded color palatte. The source also reveals that the Extract director intends on keeping B and B’s format identical to its original sketch-videos-sketch incarnation, but with more contemporary music clips for the cartoon slacker-duo to skewer…”

We haven’t seen Beavis and Butth-Head since their hit movie debut in 1996 when Beavis & Butthead Do America arrived on the big screen. Only time will tell if they  should have been happy with “Doing America” and then retiring.

I’m curious to see how well the slacker duo are able to adapt to the 21st century.

While Lindsay Lohan was all tearful remorse in the courtroom yesterday, her manicure suggested a slightly more cynical view towards her impending jail sentence.

Lohan tearfully plead with Judge Martha Revel, begging for another chance for a case in which she has already avoided jail on several occasions but failed to comply with court orders. Lohan said:

“It’s just been such a long haul and I don’t want you to think I don’t respect you and your terms.”

“…I was working on a trip in Morocco with children. It wasn’t a vacation, it wasn’t a joke and I respect you and take everything seriously.”

Orly, Lilo? The troubled actress was sporting a manicured message that seemed to contraindicate her contrition. In the picture above, one of Lohan’s fingernails clearly sports the message “F*ck U.” (Also visible was a tattoo on Lohan’s index finger reading “Shh..”) And while Judge Revel may not have noticed the antagonizing gesture, legal experts say the offensive fingernail in the now widely-distributed pic could come back to haunt Lohan if she goes before Judge Revel again.

Cheryl Cole has been transferred to a specialist hospital to be treated for malaria.

The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer, who was recently struck down with the tropical disease after apparently being bitten by a mosquito while holidaying in Tanzania with close pal Derek Hough, has reportedly been admitted to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases at University College London so medical experts can deal with the illness before it gets too serious.

A source close to the star told the Daily Mirror newspaper, “She really is very poorly indeed and doctors weren’t taking any chances. Intensive care was their best option when they saw what condition she was in. She is now in the best place for her with the best experts in the field to look after her.

“Cheryl is in a real battle but she is nothing but a fighter.”

The 27-year-old pop beauty is believed to have spent three days in intensive care at London’s private Cromwell Hospital after being diagnosed with the illness on Sunday, July 4.

She was then transferred to the specialist unit and the disease is said to have “really taken a hold” on the Girls Aloud star.

A spokesman for Cheryl confirmed, “It is a lot more serious than first thought. Everyone thought she would pull through after 24 hours but there have been no signs of improvement. She is very ill and will not be out of hospital for a while. Everyone is holding their breath.

“Because of her hectic schedule, the malaria has really taken a hold. She has not got the physical strength to beat it.”

Cheryl has been forced to pull out of her role as a judge on Simon Cowell’s pop star search show ‘The X Factor’ until further notice.

This weekend Simon and fellow judge Louis Walsh will be joined by Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger for the Manchester auditions.

The 24-year-old star, who has been wearing an alcohol-monitoring SCRAM bracelet since May, told the Los Angeles court, “I did do everything I was told to do and did the best I could to balance jobs and showing up.

“I was taking it seriously. I wasn’t expecting any special treatment. I’m not taking this as a joke. It’s my life and my career, something I have worked for my entire life.”

However, Judge Revel didn’t accept her plea and told her, “I couldn’t have been more clear about my orders. There are no excuses.”

In 2007, the ‘Mean Girls’ actress pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to two counts of drunk driving and one count of reckless driving.

She went to jail but spent only 84 minutes behind bars and was also ordered to complete a series of alcohol education courses.

However, she failed to finish them on time and missed a number of meetings.

In May she was made to wear the SCRAM bracelet because she failed to attend a probation hearing, claiming she was stranded in France because her passport had been stolen.

Dannii Minogue has given birth to a baby boy.

The singer-and-TV star, who moved back home to her native Australia to prepare for the birth of her first child with British boyfriend Kris Smith, delivered the tot in Melbourne on Monday, July 5.

The couple have named their son Ethan Edward Smith.

A statement released on behalf of Dannii, 38, and Kris, 31, said, “Kris Smith and Dannii Minogue are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ethan Edward Smith on 5 July 2010.

“Mother and baby are doing well and dad is very proud. They request their privacy at this special time to adjust as new parents.”

Dannii previously admitted she never saw a baby in her future until she got pregnant.

She said, “I just never thought it was something I would do. I had never been broody. No clock was ticking. And I would never have wanted to do it unless I was in the right relationship. He felt like ‘The One’.

“Kris loves me pregnant and that’s a big, big help. You do have hormonal days and I think if anything was said that left me thinking, ‘What did he mean by that?’ it might have got to me. But he is loving every minute of it.”

Dannii’s sister Kylie is expected to head home to Australia later this month to meet her nephew.

While Dannii has not taken part in the audition rounds for UK TV talent show ‘The X Factor’ this year she is expected to return for the final auditions and the live shows alongside fellow judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole.

Ozzy Osbourne is a “hypochondriac”.

The 61-year-od rocker is always paranoid he is going to get ill and tries to stop himself from getting sick by exercising regularly.

He said, “I’m a hypochondriac. I love exercise though, I like breaking out in a sweat. I don’t do stretching or any of that s**t, I go on the cross-trainer of the bike.”

As part of his healthy lifestyle Ozzy, whose wife Sharon overcame bowel cancer, no longer eats junk food and he tries to only dine on organic products.

He explained, “I don’t like junk food any more. But it’s easy for me to say that, I can afford all the organic stuff. If you can feed a big family a bucket of KFC chicken for 10 bucks then you’ll do that. Not everyone can afford the healthy organic s**t they say we’re meant to eat.”

Although he is now in his 60s the reformed heavy metal wildman has no intention of giving up performing at any point in the near future.

Ozzy, who is currently on his ‘Ozzfest’ world tour, said in an interview with Closer magazine, “I’ll only stop when there’s a nail being banged into my coffin! My job’s not a real job, it’s a passion. It’s not like I have to do a job I hate. It would be different if I had to go and clean toilets.”
