Ryan Seacrest has been spotted kissing Julianne Hough on vacation.

The ‘American Idol’ presenter has been rumoured to be dating the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ dancer for a few months and the pair have now been seen getting hot and heavy while on Ryan’s yacht in Portofino, Italy.

A source said, “Julianne wrapped her legs around Ryan as she greeted him as he came onboard the yacht after his flight from Atlanta.”

After spending a few days in Portofino, the couple are believed to be sailing to Monaco to continue their sun-drenched holiday.

Although Ryan and Julianne, whose brother is Derek Hough, who recently holidayed with Cheryl Cole, who is now battling malaria caught on the trip to Tanzania, have remained tight-lipped on their romance, their relationship is believed to be getting “serious”.

In June, a source said, “Things have gotten more serious over the last month. They’re perfect for each other.”

Lindsay Lohan will get her own private cell in jail.

The 24-year-old actress, who has been sentenced to 90 days in prison for violating her probation for a driving under the influence (DUI) arrest in 2007, will be segregated from the general population at Los Angeles’ Century Regional Detention Facility to avoid unwanted attention.

Steve Whitmore of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office told the New York Daily News newspaper, “She’s getting a cell by herself.

“She will be separated from the general population. She will be in a pod with other inmates in the same classification.”

Lindsay, who also has to spend three months in an inpatient rehab facility after her jail term is complete, has to surrender herself to authorities on July 20 to start her sentence.

Although she will be in a private cell, the ‘Mean Girls’ star could have a cellmate who she will spend up to 22 hours a day with in the 12ft by 8ft room, which comes complete with two bunks and one toilet.

Lindsay can also look forward to getting up at 5am each morning and spending just one hour a day exercising, however, there is a shop where inmates can buy shampoo, cigarettes and sweet foods.

Mel Gibson allegedly told his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva she “deserved” to get hit while holding their young baby Lucia.

A new tape recording reveals a teary Oksana asking the 54-year-old actor what he thinks he is doing hitting her while she is holding their two-month-old child in early January.

According to RadarOnline.com, Oksana can be heard on the tape saying, “What kind of man is that who would hit a woman while she is holding a child in her hands, hitting her twice in the face? What kind of man is that?”

The ‘Braveheart’ star answers, “You know what – you f***ing deserved it.”

The allegations are the latest in a string of accusations by Oksana, who has also filed a restraining order against Mel.

Other recordings allegedly feature the two-time Oscar winner telling the Russian singer she looks like a “f***ing pig in heat”.

Mel has also sought a court order to stop the recordings being publically released, and to prevent photographs which apparently show the extent of the injuries he caused Oksana – he is alleged to have given her two black eyes and broken her front teeth.

Lindsay Lohan is to be randomly tested for drink and drugs until next August.

The troubled actress, who has been sentenced to 90 days in prison and a further three months in an inpatient rehab facility for violating her probation for a driving under the influence (DUI) arrest in 2007, will now have to stay clean and sober for over 12 months on the orders of Judge Marsha Revel.

However, she will be allowed to take five prescription medications while on probation – Nexium for heartburn, antidepressants Zoloft and Trazodone, Adderall for Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and painkiller Dilaudid for “dental pain”.

According to her probation report, which was released by the Los Angeles court system on Wednesday, July 7, Lindsay “has been on the same prescription medication for as long as she can remember. She has provided medical proof for her prescription drugs”.

The report also states the ‘Mean Girls’ star had twice tested positive for amphetamines and opiates in previous drug tests, but those were the result of Adderall and Dilaudid.

Her father Michael Lohan has long insisted his daughter is addicted to prescription drugs and in April he attempted to stage an intervention to save Lindsay from her substance abuse, and in May he wrote a letter to a judge asking for her to be ordered to rehab in relation to her DUI charge.

Lindsay, 24, must serve her time in the Los Angeles County Jail, which means she should be heading to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, the only jail for women in the area.

However, it is unlikely Lindsay, who spent just 84 minutes in jail in 2007, will serve her full-term.

Following her sentencing, which will begin on July 20, Lindsay took to her twitter account and appeared to take aim at the international justice system.

She wrote, “It is clearly stated in Article 5 of the U.N. Universal Declaration of Human Rights that… ‘No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment.’ (sic)”

However, it was unclear whether she was talking about her own fate or that of someone else.

Sheryl Crow’s split from Lance Armstrong inspired her to adopt.

The 48-year-singer and cyclist Lance broke up in 2006 after three years together and Sheryl adopted son Wyatt in 2007.

Sheryl revealed that the separation, along with her treatment for breast cancer led her to re-evaluate her life.

She told Redbook magazine, “I’d just been through a pretty painful break-up where there were kids involved, and I’d also been through breast cancer treatment.

“After that, I felt an acute sense of urgency about how I wanted my life to feel. Since I wasn’t married, my idea of what the picture was supposed to look like no longer served any great purpose.”

The Grammy Award-winning artist announced she had adopted a second son, Levi, in June 2010, and she admits she had wanted Wyatt, now three, to have a sibling for some time.

She revealed “It’s been in the works for a while. I was hoping to adopt a child when Wyatt was two; a lot of the adoptions fell through.

“But things always work out perfectly. They just do. Generally, when you let go of your vision of how something is supposed to be, the universe hands you exactly what you need.”

You’ve got about two more seasons to enjoy it. Alec Baldwin, who, to the uninitiated, plays the wonderfully smarmy ‘straight man’ to pretty much every other character Jack Donaghy, says he’s leaving the popular sitcom when his contract expires in 2012. NBCNewYork cites a video interview on CNN where Baldwin states a preference for retirement over bringing his sexy-voiced Alec Baldwin goodness to our small screens for very much longer:

“As much as I like acting, I know that I would love to have a different life… A private life… I’d rather go do other things…”

While 30 Rock is pretty well loved, it’s difficult to imagine the show having any appeal at all without Baldwin. The more slapstick storylines involving Tracy Morgan and Jane Krakowski can be funny, but it seems like a Jack-less show would be incredibly flat and boring. NBCNewYork speculates that Baldwin is unlikely to retire completely, but suggests Will Arnett as a viable replacement:

I think one of the best solutions Tina Fey has to keep the show going is to replace Baldwin permanently with Will Arnett, who already has a recurring character on the show (who spars with Baldwin brilliantly), and who has Baldwin’s same talent for grave deadpan comedy. It’s the only solution, really. Because a world without Jack Donaghy is poorer one indeed.

Beyonce Knowles narrowly escaped serious injury after her car door was ripped off by a taxi in London.

The ‘Halo’ singer opened the door of her Mercedes after deciding to pop into top store Harrods en route to a restaurant in the UK capital’s Knightsbrige area.

Shoppers looked on in horror as the taxi collided with the car’s door, ripping it off its hinges and missing Beyonce by just a matter of centimetres.

The pop star, who was travelling with her hip-hop guru husband Jay-Z, looked visibly shaken after the incident.

A source told The Sun newspaper, “It was terrifying to watch. It all happened so quickly, the taxi came out of nowhere.

“She seemed very shaken and was lucky to be alive. A couple of seconds difference and God knows what could have happened.”

Beyonce, 28, and Jay-Z, 40, were on their way to a romantic meal at Japanese eatery Zuma when the singer decided to make her impromptu stop.

After the accident, the couple were forced to dump the damaged car, and were sent a replacement to take them to the restaurant.

She was later seen looking happy and relaxed after leaving Zuma with Jay-Z.

Kristen Stewart doesn’t care about getting married.

The 20-year-old actress, who is believed to be dating her ‘Twilight’ co-star Robert Pattinson, insists she doesn’t dream about having a white wedding like most girls her age but does think about having a baby.

When quizzed about her thoughts on marriage, she said, “Not at this point of my life. Maybe I’m completely different from everyone else. There are a lot of girls who can’t wait to get married and plan their wedding a long time in advance. I’m not like that. I do want to start a family at some point, but I don’t know when.”

But Kristen still refuses to be speak about her romance with Robert, only referring to him as a “good friend”.

She told German TV channel Tele 5, “At the beginning of the films there wasn’t a relationship at all, because we (me and Robert) didn’t know each other at all, but now it’s all different. We’ve shot all these films together and he’s become a good friend of mine. Taylor (Lautner) and Rob are incredibly important to me. They don’t get on my nerves. We’re always honest with each other without having to worry whether we’re hurting each other’s feelings.”

Justin Bieber wants to “stay pure and honour women”.

According to his mother Pattie Mallette, the 16-year-old pop star has pledged to continue treating women with respect and has hinted he plans to remain a virgin until he meets the perfect girl for him.

She said, “He’s expressed his desire to stay pure, and honour women, and treat women with respect. So hopefully that stays valid.”

Speaking in his ‘My World’ TV special on E!, the ‘Baby’ singer admits he finds it difficult to meet girls who aren’t interested in his newfound fame and fortune.

Because of this, Justin is happy playing the field and “having fun” for the time being.

He explained, “It’s definitely hard to find a girl that really likes me for me. You gotta be careful.

“Right now, I’m like so busy anyway, so I just have fun, hang out with girls and stuff. Try not to take it too seriously.”

Justin’s ex-girlfriend Cailtin Beadles recently sparked speculation they have reunited after she spent time with him back in June during his photoshoot with Kim Kardashian in the Bahamas.

On returning from the trip, she tweeted, “What happens in the Bahamas stays in the Bahamas!”

Russell Brand was “lost for words” when he proposed to Katy Perry.

The British funnyman was completely moved when he asked the ‘I Kissed a Girl’ singer to marry him, and admits he was so overcome with emotion during the “magical” moment that he found it difficult to talk.

He said, “Katy sat down and I went onto one knee. It’s strange when life becomes all intense and serious like that. It becomes almost magical. And me, I’m not normally lost for words but in that moment I spoke dead quietly, asked her to marry me, and she said yes. It was very sweet and tender, and the world felt very small and perfect.”

Russell proposed to Katy in the early hours of New Year’s Day, January 1, during a romantic trip to India.

Although he was delighted with the proposal, he admits his original plan was to pop the question whilst riding on an elephant under the blue moon at midnight, but the animal panicked after fireworks filled the sky.

He explained on ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’, “On New Year’s eve – at midnight – I’d organised all sorts of things to make it authentic and wonderful. There were these gentlemen in turbans holding blazing torches, the blue moon lit the sky. The elephant arrived at midnight, it was wearing make-up… it looked a bit tarty but it still had class. Truculent that elephant was. It had an attitude. We mounted the elephant because it was my plan to ask her to marry me on the back of that elephant at midnight. But the thing is, at midnight, they set off fireworks. Elephants don’t like fireworks and he had an attitude anyway.

“Thankfully he maintained control of his functions, but he really carried on. I thought, ‘This is not a way to start a marriage. On top of a big grey fleshy storm.’ So what I did is we got off and we entered an area where there was a fountain. Flowers were scattered everywhere, the moon shone on. She sat down, it was quiet – the elephant had run off by then. It was like it knew it had been bad.”
